Had a great experience. Everything we ate was super tasty. Chef’s choices, all impeccably executed. Certainly the best Caesar salad in the city and tonight’s Pickerel was perfection. The entire vibe combined creates an unquestionable great night out.

Came in Saturday evening, seeing they were full 30 minutes after opening is a good sign. Had to be put on a waitlist, which was well worth it. The Steak and Caesar Salad stole the show for me. As for the fries they are okay, the mayo it came with is delicious. The boiled eggs were jammy and Dijon sauce were tasty. Overall I definitely be coming back to try the burger and soft serve.

The food was amazing! The menu is quite small, which makes it easy to order. They also have rotating specials that keep things fresh and interesting. Their ice cream is a real treat—I tried the mango flavor, and it didn’t disappoint. My only complaint is that we were seated inside and the AC was off. It got pretty warm with so many people around.

I love this place. The menu is simple but delicious. We always order the Caesar salad, which is perfectly made. The cocktail menu is good and very well presented. I’ve tried the burger, which is excellent, and the chicken sandwich, which I also highly recommend. The service is efficient and friendly. While the prices aren’t cheap, I think they’re reasonable for the quality they offer. The portions are a bit on the smaller side, though. Overall, Dotty’s is definitely a great spot to eat in Toronto.

Dotty’s is the perfect neighborhood comfort diner - Aside from serving the best French fries I’ve ever had, the service is top-notch and friendly, the bustling atmosphere is welcoming and all of the food is perfectly prepared. It’s elevated comfort/diner food that will just make you feel happy and glad you came in. The fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Caesar salad is stacked high and adorned with a perfect dressing, crispy croutons and a ton of salty cheese. The steak is simply seasoned and seared perfectly. The spicy chicken sandwich is like a blue plate special on steroids with a mild kick of heat and heaps of flavour. On our first visit we had the fish dish and cheeseburger - these represent the two extremes of what you can expect at Dotty’s: the fish is perfectly cooked and accompanied by an elegant sauce and served with inventive ways of preparing vegetables while the cheeseburger is about as simple as it gets yet there’s a sauce or condiment that makes it stand out amongst the sea of burgers out there. Lovely restaurant with a patio in the summer. The quality of the food is so fresh and the service is really friendly. They kindly adapted their salmon avocado dish to make it vegan - it’s spicy and zingy. The garden salad is really nice and fresh. The fries are so good! I wish they had a more substantial vegan dish but I’m very appreciative at them adapting their menu for us. Overall, the food is fresh, light and delicious. Portions are a bit small but this place is gorgeous for an early dinner.

Everything was really flavourful, steak had a pretty good cook but was the only thing that wasn’t great. Had a tuna tonnato dish (not pictured) that was the standouts along with the cooked fish main. The spritz Ginny was had a strong grapefruit element

Amazing service and amazing food. Cocktails were delicious. We overindulged but it was well worth it. Happy to have been here and next time will likely order less but happy to have tried everything. The chef came out and chatted a bit too. Very cute atmosphere and perfect for a date night or catch-up with friends.
