"This 12,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor roadhouse at the front of Park MGM, opened in 2014 by SBE, is the last remaining outlet from the Monte Carlo restaurant collection and is closing on Nov. 4, effectively wiping the last vestiges of the old resort. In recent months the bar trimmed its hours to Wednesdays through Sundays and stopped serving food ahead of the final closure. The menu focused on Southern comfort fare — shrimp and grits, fried chicken sandwiches, mini corn dogs and chicken pot pie — and highlighted over-the-top desserts like a slice of pie served in a Mason jar a la mode and deep-fried s’mores (a graham-cracker sandwich filled with marshmallow and chocolate, battered, deep-fried and dusted with powdered sugar). Eataly is slated to open next door later this fall." - Susan Stapleton
This was our first time for a concert at double barrel. Even with all the craft shows, the place is always clean the people are pleasant , very helpful. The food is also very good quality with good selections and great price. You feel safe , there is plenty of seats. All the seats are good to see. One small thing …the black soft barstools were a little slippery to sit on and the square wood barstools for older folks were hard , but they did have regular chairs, and a softer lounge area. They really did think of everything . Something for everybody. Much thought has gone into this venue including lighted easy parking access.
The sound system has great acoustics. Excellent place.

I don't know how to feel. Went to see Lakeview here last night and the place is really awesome: beer taps linked to wristbands, food available quickly and lots of room. Thing is, paid $20 for a show that was billed as being from 8-11. The headliner band only played from 9-10. Probably not the venues fault but nobody seemed to know what was going on. We had just gotten some snacks and drinks and everything just closed behind me, the band just ends and the lights go up and they start cleaning up. I was so confused. Acoustics are OK and the potential is good. Maybe it was just the band?

Great venue for live shows. I visited for the first time on 1/27/24. Large room and great sound. The scan and go draft system works great (simply hold your wristband at the scanner, wait for your name to appear on the screen, then pour). Ample parking and easy to get to off 1-83. The Double Barrel Roadhouse will definitely be on radar for more shows,

Venue is beautiful, lovely atmosphere, bathrooms are clean. We went for bingo and it was very enjoyable. The food was not good, cheese sauce tastes like its right out of the can, pretzel bites were hard, brownies tasted like they were made 2 days ago. For the price of the fooe, the flavor and love was lacking. But venue is fantastic

The band was very good and the music was not too loud to cause us to yell at each other to ask a question or say something. Plenty of space to enjoy the evening. Cool idea to issue wristbands that you scan to obtain food or booze from the wall taps. We will definitely return to watch another band.

Nice size venue with big stage, good sound & stage lights. Variety of seating options or standing available. The wristband scan worked well for drink tap wall for me.

This is a very nice venue. They really took time and effort when they were planning the layout. It is very complimentary to a veteran event goer. The staff are always ready to help you have a good time. The only negative thing that I could even think of. Is this place could host some national recording artist that are at the end of their career and doing smaller venues. I would love to see some of that at this club. But they're only a year in and they're progressively getting better with experience. Would recommend this venue to anyone who really enjoys music and good times.

It cost $30 at the door per person it's a rip off because the band only played an hour and a half! People who wanted mixed drinks were only allowed two drinks and then they were cut off. As soon as band quit playing EARLY, everyone was expected to leave right away. Sad.

Yelp
Had a great time ... everyone was helpful and very friendly. Back in Black was playing with BadMojo cover band. Both bands were great.

Yelp
First time here. This place is very nicely set up for the venue they offer. This place is clean inside and out. The night I was here Stone Wood was there. The acoustics were really good in the building. They have a small menu of food choices. But it is definitely not intended to be a sit down dinner place. They offer beer and alcoholic drinks but no hard liquor .for my first I would easily say I will be back. For music venues it is about the nicest setup I've seen.

Yelp
Of the 2 guys working the door the one with long gray hair was a total A-hole. He also put his hand on my shoulder for absolutely no reason and I recently had shoulder surgery. will never go there again.
