Google
Come here for the beer, atmosphere, and hot dogs! Energetic vibe and lots of tv's! Our bartender wasn't friendly in the least but the beer was good! The hotdogs and shoestring fries were delicious... we didn't care for the sausage queso, as it came out cold and with very little sausage. We enjoyed sitting at the bar with our dog!

Matt Campbell

Google
Double Dogs has a nice, bright atmosphere that gives an upscale buffalo wild wings vibe. Service was great with zero issues. Food was hot and delicious, being one of the better burgers I had in the Nashville area. However, I did have a large party of 10, and seating wasn't the best. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're in the Nashville area for a good time and good food.

Joan Hurt

Google
I had the most wonderful chicken pot pie! The service was great. I Lots of good stuff, with good service close to my house. I will definitely go back!

Google
I love this spot! Great, fun staff! Food is above average for a bar. My personal favorite wings in the city (Gene's Crunchy Wings). The burgers are good too. Tons of 55" TVs so there's not a bad seat in the house! Definitely in my top 2 bars for watching sporting events!

Kuniko

Google
Came here and was bombarded by 5-6 gnats at my table the whole time, and they took my favorite thing off the menu 🥲 they flew on my face, wine and food.

Google
In Nashville for CMA fest and decided on Double Dogs as only a walk from our hotel. Food was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and I can say I officially had my first Tennessee craft beer, I believe in Nashville. Wonderful blonde golden ale.

Google
We recently dined at Double Dogs June 10,2025, and was very disappointed by the consistently slow service and rude attitude of our server ! Our server did acknowledge us after being seated, and kept going to talk to someone not giving us any attention or even asking if we needed anything … When asked for a refill and to add to our order she was very irritated! The MOST unprofessional tone and body language I have seen in a long time. Both my husband and myself are disgusted with how she treated us! Food & Atmosphere was great as always . I would just say please avoid seating with the RUDE SERVER ITEZEL and please don’t ask her for anything because she will just roll her eyes and walk off !!

Bruce Bailey

Google
The chicken pot pie was amazing crust and filling all tasted house made and the onion rings are definitely house made. I will go back any time I’m in town. Great experience.

Yelp
Yo the wings are the best and fries awesome .burgers are great .kid from Brooklyn and I approve this message .Great happy hour for college football on Saturday

Yelp
Double Fried wings are great, and regular wings are great. Chicken tenders for the value are definitely a plus, and i would recommend them. good sauces for tossing wings/tenders. Their Blue Cheese and somehow also their Ranch are the worst I've ever had at any eating establishment. The blue cheese is almost like someone tried to explain what blue cheese is and then they ignored almost all of the directions. And then when i thought that the blue cheese just wasn't their thing i tried the ranch, and it is somehow just as bad. My girlfriend and i enjoy the tenders and wings and at this point we're tempted to smuggle in our own dipping sauces. The pot pie is also shockingly good. I've had multiple burgers and the chicken sandwich here and all of them have been a bust. Usually lacking any type of flavor or seasoning of any kind. The fries also need to be fried longer. It's a nice place, they have some things going their way, and i do come here for those specific things now, just wished they would get better dipping sauces.

Yelp
We came for the $7 burger special for Nashville's burger week! The burger was as as to be expected, local beef. They serve a dump style kind of Mac & cheese & it wasn't the greatest for $7.50 exactly. The service was efficient at outside bar seating area.

Leah S.

Yelp
Double Dogs is a great place for a game and a beverage. They have a TON of TVs so you're guaranteed a good view no matter where you're sitting. Chicken tenders were a bit dry inside but good crunch, and the house sauce was delicious. Not the best food in the world but perfect for what it is.
google avatar

Yelp
Came for happy hour but honestly the daily drink specials are a better deal - so come anytime you want! The nachos and queso were the perfect snack to go with the refreshing beer. Lots of tables and a great place to catch up with friends

Kate C.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and was blown away how delicious they made normal bar food! Boneless wings were so tender, perfect amount of breading, and the sauce was awesome. Burger and fries were also amazing. Onion rings were fire. Will be back!!

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere. Have to eat your hot dog with a fork and knife but that's perfect to me.
google avatar

Yelp
Casual place, popular with us vanderbilt medical center employees, to grab some food after work! There were about 10 of us, which we know is a lot, but it felt like we got squeezed into a booth that did quite fit us. My coworkers love the lemon drop martinis, I opted for the spicy margarita. It took almost the same time to get our drinks as it did to get our food. The food was pretty solid, especially for a sports bar. The buffalo chicken tender sandwich was difficult to eat, so I ended up just using a fork and knife, but it was still good! The fries are a crispy shoe string type. Also our waitress was great, super positive and nice!

Yelp
I visited Double Dogs during the NFL playoffs. This is a great sports bar to watch a game. Tons of TVs and excitement while you enjoy typical bar food. Atmosphere- 5/5 Great spot to meet up with friends to watch a game. It is a fun environment. Food- 4/5 I ordered a milkshake which was 10/10 amazing, but if we're honest, it is pretty hard to mess up ice cream. The Big John burger was also tasty. I took off one star because the fries were thin and rather average. Because they are so thin, they lose their heat fast. Also, someone at my table ordered chicken pot pie and the chicken was not mixed well with the sauce mixture. If you come here, stick to ordering the bar basics (burgers, wings, etc) The sauce that came with the onion rings was on point. Service- 5/5 The team here was hustling and kept drinks full. Value- 4/5 The portions are generous. I ordered the Big John which is a burger with a hot dog and chili and cheese on it. Wow! Overall, I would come here again and recommend if you were in the area.

Yelp
Way more than hot dogs! Friendly staff, competitive prices and great tasting food. Parking is a bit of a challenge but if you drive a bit down the road you can find no pay street parking- parking garages are to risky with all the predatory parking companies out there who play games. Recommend this restaurant

Yelp
My first time eating here and the service and food was excellent. I ordered the chili nachos and it was served in a doggie bowl and I loved it!!
google avatar

Maddie C.

Yelp
We went here for the first time and thought it was pretty good. Pros: -dog friendly -lots of TVs -burger and fries was delicious -pot pie was delicious Cons: -salads were kinda lame. They didn't come with many toppings or lettuce. They also didn't give a choice of dressing. -service was meh. Our waiter did the bare minimum and only filled our drinks when we were done with our meals. Overall would come back but wouldn't order a salad for sure.

Yelp
Stopped in for the $5 mimosas and enjoyed it. I would give double dogs a 3.5 if possible. The food came out quickly and service was good. Lots of TVs to enjoy games.

Charlie B.

Yelp
Me and a couple of friends went to watch a game and have some apps and beers, the beer was good and nachos were good but we waited forever for someone to come over to serve us and we waited about 15 minutes for our check. The waiter was also not very Friendly
google avatar

Dianne M.

Yelp
Casual, fun atmosphere! The server was friendly and attentive without being over the top - much appreciated. I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad and loved it! The breading was very light and the chicken was moist and flavorful - great with their balsamic dressing. My husband had the breakfast sandwich with fries and he really enjoyed it. The fries were this and crispy and plentiful. We were seated quickly and greeted by the server promptly.
google avatar

Belle R.

Yelp
The food itself was pretty good, although the server was more on the average side. We were in town for an event, so it was nice to find a place that wasn't too crowded. The drink specials are reasonable and overall I'd go back again!

Jamie M.

Yelp
This place seems like it has gone down hill. It smelled like mop water inside the restaurant this afternoon, the fries were cold, and my hot dog got cold after about 2 mins of it being on my plate. Everyone at my table had the same experience with their food not being hot.
google avatar

Seth L.

Yelp
Come check out this bar on gameday...the bartenders are great! Foods fast and on point too!!

Kim W.

Yelp
Sadly only two stars for our visit today. One for our server and one for the pickle chips. My Philly steak was awful. Meat was dry, seemed old and with no flavor. Fries were subpar as well. Disappointing to say the least.

Yelp
Best happy hour in Nashville! This is a very expensive city. And I travel a lot. But one thing I can say is this happy hour is possibly the best in the city. My friend was in town at Belmont and I decided to take her for drinks. Friday after work I was thinking what was a nice place to go. Literally around the corner from Belmont was Double Dogs. I found free street parking a block over, something that is very rare in this city. The server was extremely attentive and nice. When a glass was empty she was there to tidy up and see if anything else was needed. We both grabbed three drinks and shared an appetizer. I paid what I would have paid for a solo lunch some places. A lot of places do not have Friday happy hours and if they do it's only a couple dollars off. This one was everything. My go to from here on out!

Yelp
The food was fabulous. The service was quick the staff was friendly. Highly recommend this location to all. Yes nope that's it.

Yelp
Gotta give it props--enjoyed the food, got great service, music was great, drinks were cheap at happy hour and Seth behind the bar was fast and friendly. I'll be back again when it's like this.

Stephen H.

Yelp
Hands down awesome food and environment! Also service was on point. Menu has a good variety for everyone.

Yelp
Visiting Nashville and this place came highly recommended. Didn't disappoint at all. The Double Dogs were delicious. The chili cheese fries are highly recommended. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the customer service was top notch.

Yelp
Nice spot to catch a game, luckily the rangers were on TV so I was able to watch. The pot pie was really good except there were a ton of bones in it, which kind of was annoying to be worried about taking a bites.

Yelp
Good fast service. Food was good. Have your order in your mind when you hit the door. Moves fast

Yelp
Very tasty and affordable Service was very good Good variety Parking not easy thou

Yelp
Visited this place with a co-worker for lunch a few weeks ago. I was excited to try it, but shortly found out I couldn't eat anything due to them frying their food in peanut oil. It was too late to try to go anywhere else, so I settled on the the classic cheese pizza. It was very average and nothing to ride home about. Unfortunately, I don't foresee myself visiting this place in the future; however, I do think it's good if you're looking for a quick bite and they stay open pretty late!

Josie B.

Yelp
Lots of TVs to watch the game. I liked my food and felt like it was decently priced for what you got, just wish the nachos actually had more chili on it? You mostly got chips. Fried onion rings were a miss and service was eh (we weren't seated at the bar though).
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was good. It was super crowded and we sat fast. I had a doggie and he enjoyed himself. Green yea shot was on point. I loved the Mac and cheese. The wings were just ok. I loved that it was outside. The weather was perfect. I had a good time at this spot.

Yelp
We passed this place on our way to Jeni's Ice Cream. We ended up coming back when Jeni's line was wrapped around the corner. I'm glad we came back and stopped for a drink. I got to try the Diskin Cider - Tiki Tonik and it was delicious. My cider was much bigger than I expected and it ended up being a pleasant surprise. They had Guinness on tap and my husband very much enjoyed his drink. They have a nice patio and it was a beautiful night to sit outside.

Andee A.

Yelp
Pro: service on a busy Friday night was first-rate. Con: The chili dog needs way more chili to call itself that. A very expensive hot dog!

Sydnee H.

Yelp
We came here a Friday afternoon for their happy hour deals, which were a great deal! Their house wine was $3.95 and their domestic bottles were $3.25. We got their chicken fingers tossed in the BBQ sauce, and they were super moist; however, their ranch was absolutely DISGUSTING. They had boiled eggs in their ranch and as someone who grew up in the Midwest, this was a disgrace to ranches everywhere. Nothing about it tasted like ranch. There are also TVs everywhere which would make for a good place to come watch sports. Despite the ranch, our overall experience was good! The food was good, the bartender was great, and the food came out really quick.

Yelp
This place is way better than the Yelp rating indicates. I realize it's a micro chain - I think they have like 8 locations across 3 states - but this experience and volume is what makes this place good! Always consistent food, and pleasant + attentive service. My wings *were* overfried / dried out on the last visit, but I'll let it slide as everything else I've ever gotten has been pretty perfect... Big fan of the tuna salad platter. And you can't go wrong with their house lager ($3) in their tall refrigerated beer glass. Gotta love bars that go out of their way to chill their glassware - bonus star for that! And I love their Onion Rings! They are kushiage-style fried (with bread crumbs kind of like Burger King rings) - and are always freshly fried per order. I prefer this style ring to the kind that are beer-battered where the onion falls out onto your chin. Kushiage-style is the best onion ring style, by far! My favorite place to sit is along the outside bar with my back to the sidewalk and facing in at the walls of multiple HDTVs. Cool vibe. Fun place to snack & drink on game days! Parking is pretty easy - read the street signs - there are certain blocks of time when the street parking right on 21st St. is actually free. Just read the signs carefully.

Yelp
This place prides itself heavily on being dog friendly and advertises on that notion heavily, it's even in the name. But, when we went there, we realized it isn't any different than any other restaurant that has an outside patio. By this mentality, Cori's DogHouse down the street, is dog friendly and they don't advertise it, as much as this place does. When I think dog friendly, I think of restaurants that can have dogs in the restaurants such as Fetch Bar & Grill that is in Kansas. My expectations were probably too high, as I expected more, not just empty water bowls sitting outside. Now our waitresses was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Yet, the food....is food. One surprising thing though - is there was no drink specials or specialty drinks that were based off dogs They are missing a potential advertising opportunity with this lapse. Just they were an 'open bar.' They could do more to advertise drinks such as The Salty Chihuaha or The Pomeranian...

Yelp
cute you place to grab a chill meal in Hillsboro Village! We tried their lunch special which is a hamburger and fries and a drink for about nine dollars. We also tried the Greek salad with grilled chicken! The salad I had a solid amount of vegetables in it and not just iceberg lettuce which is always encouraging for a Greek salad! They have a nice patio reconsider outside and enjoy downtown Hillsboro Village. I'll definitely come back and try more of their food again! Our server was super nice.
google avatar

Neil K.

Yelp
Chili cheese dog was good, chili was a bit cold. Just a good typical hotdog. I had the fresh green beans instead of fries and they were steamed perfectly and splashed with butter - tasty. Service was spot on.
google avatar

Alec Z.

Yelp
Chain restaurant. Typical "wing and brew" spot, but you can bring your dog so that's something. Laid back, high quality seating (outdoor fireplace) and above average food and beverages. I've eaten inside three times, and used delivery last. I just ate the Thai Wings, bone-in. I prefer boneless but split hairs with a friend and settled. I just don't like all the other pieces that come with eating actual chicken bones. Like the bodily structure. Hard. Messy. Too much commitment really. The mushy-fatty-non-chewable parts kinda disgust me. I don't like celery either. However. I like the bone-ins at Double Dogs. They cooked the meat well and the skin was crispy at times. 4/5 wings. Giving this a 4 because it doesn't do anything spectacular. Respectable service. It met and slightly exceeded my expectations. So 4.
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
I've been going here on and off since they've opened and I can say I can't get a read on the place. I've had meh food, I've had good food. The pizza's kind of a miss every time, but not horrible. The patio's nice until a passer-by canine decides to front on a 90 pound puppy in the bar area. Nothing they can really do about that, but it can get real loud real quick. Tax rate on multiple tables appears off and that's interesting. 9.26 here, 9.25 there, 9.27 there, and 9.24 there. Pictures attached. Went a couple of times last week and they're odd. It does average out and looks like it's something to just help you with figuring out what each party owes... and as pictured sometimes that means party 4 gets to pay an extra penny. Good place to watch sports, kids and doggos welcome, but not a huge fan of the food, which is ok being the random vegetarian.
google avatar

Yelp
Heading home after a weekend of volleyball and stopped off in Bowling Green for lunch. We at this place last year and decided to come back. They have some insane burgers, and a really good chili dog made with Hebrew National hot dogs--the only hot dog that can compete with Nathan's. It's just a few minutes off I-65, and well worth passing up all the fast food places.

Yelp
I consider myself a wing connoisseur. I love everything about them. I'm all about spicy buffalo wings to lemon pepper to garlic parm, and everything in between. I've had them from all over the country, in fancy pants places and holes-in-the-wall spots. I've had actual wings, drumsticks, tenders, strips, breaded, grilled, dunked, spun, coated, naked, and fried-died-laid-to-the-side. Even with all my wing-ventures, I've still quite a few places left on my list to check out for the first time, even here in Nashville. But I will say this. I've been to Double Dogs over in Hillsboro Village about 5-6 times. I've ordered their delectable chicken fingers offering each time, and every-single-time have the same, consistent, delicious, juicy, well-prepared, fresh, and saucy tenders, that I may just have fallen in love. (Don't tell my wife...) These dudes are SO TENDER, so tasty, and their house-made sauces are SO GOOD, that I find myself over here with my mouth now watering all over my keyboard... yuck. After a short cleanup of my now sticky keys, I have to say that their tenders are the best I've found. The restaurant is nice, and I love in warmer temps when they have the garage doors open and you catch a nice breeze while sitting at the bar. They have beer selections on tap and bottle, and usually have some type of drink special going on. Their lunch special is pretty good too: $7.99 for a burger and fries. Haven't tried this yet tho, based purely on how freakin delicious the chicken is. We also tried the jalapeno cheese sticks and they were so spicy and good! Nicely seasoned, and had quite the kick! If you like your chicken spicy and are good with the colloquial "Nashville Hot" offerings, expecting the same level of heat, you'll be disappointed. This is a wet sauce, not a dry rub, for starters, and even their hottest sauce isn't all that hot. Order a sting above what you normally would if you want some zang on ya wang. Altogether, the food is excellent, the restaurant clean, the service is hit or miss depending on your server/bartender, but the chicken will keep me coming back again and again!

Yelp
Their chicken pot pie is the best in the city. Always go here for some nice comfort food.

Yelp
We have ate there numerous times. This past time it was a little lacking. Still good but have had better from them.

Yelp
Great place to watch football! Food was solid and the service was great!!! We loving going there to watch sports & eat!!!

Yelp
Turned off the World Cup trophy presentation. (Put it on one a screen out of one million). Don't come to watch football (soccer).

Yelp
This place is located in Nashville. Parking is on site or they have a parking garage near by. It's dog friendly which was a super plus since I brought my little fur ball along for the road trip to Tennessee. I must say the burgers are seasoned exact to my taste and was also cooked at the right temperature medium rare ! Both the bbq bacon burger and the breakfast was delicious and even the side salad had a nice twist with bacon on top! I mean who doesn't love bacon right ? Service was also outstanding and I love that they had water bowls ready for all the pets. Definitely recommend this place when staying in Nashville .

Yelp
Great place! I joined the Nashville Jayhawks for a watch party! Such fun!!! Was visiting from Reno, NV and this group got my attention! Rock Chalj Jayhawk!!!

Yelp
I have tried and tried again to like this place. The only thing going for it are their drinks. Food wise and service are a hard pass. I can't justify it. It honestly seems to be an ongoing issue that never changes. The last 3 times I have been here, I have had to send the food back because it was cold, lacking something, or they completely messed up the order altogether like this most recent visit. I asked for a turkey sandwich add cheese and without tomatoes and they bring me a sandwich with only bacon and mayo on it. No turkey at all and the cheese was not there either. This was after waiting 30 minutes for it on a very dead night with only a few customers present since it was later in the evening. Our server was kept asking if we wanted our check when we had just put in a second drink order. This was 1 of 4 times she asked us if we wanted it. I asked her pointblank if she was about to be off the clock and she replied no. If this is the case, why do you keep asking if we want the check? We will tell you if we want the check. Besides, I hadn't even gotten my food out before she asked a 3rd time. The 4th time, we simply said yes so she would keep hounding us for it. We stayed an additional 30 minutes thereafter and held onto it. I do want to like this place since it is literally down the street from me, but poor food service, poor customer service (she didn't seem happy to be there either), and with this keeps happening makes me want to take my business elsewhere. Just because you are down the street isn't justification enough in my mind to keep frequenting a place. There are other options to be had where I won't run into this problem.

Yelp
Great place to watch any sporting games. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by their meals. I got the spicy buffalo chicken salad and it was super yummy.
