Double J Saloon

This is a fantastic friendly neighborhood bar with incredibly generous pours and really good eats. It's a truly great place to relax and unwind after a long workday. Feeling like shooting some pool? No problem, they've got a table ready! For those who smoke, they also have a convenient covered smoking area located in the back. Speaking of the back, you'll find plenty of parking there, which is always a plus. I haven't tried a single dish on their menu that I haven't enjoyed, but my absolute personal favorite has to be their flavorful and tender pulled pork tacos. And if you're looking for a unique drink, I highly recommend the 'fire and cider' – it's a surprisingly delicious combination of cider with a shot of Fireball!

Started coming here because the atmosphere was great after a long night of work. Its mostly because of the pool table that's here that completely brings me back for each visit I can. 10/10 would drink and play pool every chance I get.

Chill atmosphere, good music, good food! Hayla is a great bartender, remembered what I ordered the time before, and she makes an amazing margarita! Two things you have to do when you visit, order the ribs and have one of Hayla’s delicious margaritas!

A great establishment. A welcome spot in the community with lively kareoke. Destiny is a great bartender and an excellent singer. I highly recommend checking this spot out.

OK, so I know the owner. Fun guy. I've been to the Double J a few times and really like it. Nice spacious bar with great drinks and free pool. If I lived closer I'd go every day. If you like a few drinks with friends it's a great place to hang out.

Thanks Destiny for the great service and thank you for the brisket tacos. They were some of the best brisket tacos I've ever had. Can't wait to try your ribs next. All this coming from a Texan too. Also there is a pool table!

We miss this place! Used to love coming here. We live right around the corner on 35th so it was our favorite bar until this woman started working. We asked her what her name was to make this complaint and she said her name was Kayla, Heyla, something like that. She was rude to my wife when we came in after a Sounders game and made a comment about my wife's purse and said oh i like your purse her, was there a sale at Value Village?? In front of other people and laughed!Our daughter bought that Coach bag for my wife for Mother's Day. Who says stuff like that? DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR UNTIL SHE IS GONE. TRUST ME. 1 Star review.

Customer service has been friendly, informative, and accommodating. Their cocktails are original and top notch. It's a neighborhood bar, so a lot of friendliness and comraderie. Plenty of TVs and sports. Shout out to Hayla, who always keeps my drink full and conversation lively.

OMG!!!! Jeff is the bomb! We had over 12 folks show up after a wake and we were not only welcomed but treated with such respect and authentic reverence for the situation while also making sure we all had fun. That's a balancing act and he delivered. Highly recommend!! We weren't able to get food but he did allow us to get bring in from next door. Thanks Jeff. You made yesterday so memorable for us all!! This place is my jam, refuge, local hang, and all that really good stuff in between. I've been delaying writing this review because I love the fact stumbling upon Double J Saloon and feeling like I've discovered a super cool secret. The music slash playlist is always on point. The bartenders are also super friendly. They always try to make a point in learning my name and trying to remember it. They also provide some pretty sweet board games. You can easily play chess, while simultaneously playing Jenga and scrabble- whoa. Don't judge a book by its cover because the interior is super clean, bathrooms are really nice, and the drinks - my personal fav the cucumber cooler never disappoints!

Did not feel safe or comfortable here. Overheard someone being verbally assaulted racially and staff did not step in, allowed aggressor to stay and berate another guest.

This bar is so cute and fun to go to. They go all out with the theme and it's amazing. I came here on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't too crowded. The bartenders were super nice. They have a pool table and good selection of drinks, will definitely be back.

Good, neighborhood place in the thick of Lake City Way. Delicious beverages! Ask about their shot-and-beer combinations. Friendly staff. Tacos, chili, other pub food. Nice, down home, real people. Pool table. Cool decorations, too. All the things!

Great new addition to LCW! Only been opens ~2 weeks but I'm excited it's here. It's the perfect hangout spot that is comfortable. Great people, big TV's, pool, beers on tap, liquor, music & flatbread pizza (didn't try but smelled good). Parking in the back too. Excited to go back!

Scratch cocktail for $7. Not too boozy (The Back Door is good for that) and delicious. Food bites (did not have any, but it looked great). Free peanuts. Salty and good. What I have liked the most is that it was not busy when I was there, but both bartenders worked the entire time. Jeremy was friendly, drinks were perfectly balanced, and he never missed a beat when my glass was getting emptier. I really appreciated his attention to detail when he opened a new bag of peanuts. He made sure that the ones that were on the bottom ended up on top. It seems funny to point that out, but it is telling on how the bar is handled in general. Welcome Double J Saloon to LCW!

Amazing place with amazing people and owner! Homemade sauces and food... just a solid place. Has pool/billiards and good music too!

Great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff I've ever met. Good for sports, several TV's behind the bar. Food is surprisingly good. Only problem is that the shots are measured. Not worth paying for premium liquor when the owners won't let the barkeeps free-pour.

If you didn't have a good time here... it's probably you... maybe keep a pad & pen by the bedside & start writing down your dreams at night as a a start... look for basic archetypal symbols & other recurring themes to what the problem might be... hope this was helpful...

Great staff! I got stuck in the parking lot next to this place and someone came out and helped us out. I love you guys

This place is legit - cheap drinks, friendly/no fuss attitude, great decor and ambiance, delicious bar food and so much more! They have free peanuts, karaoke on Tuesdays I believe, themed food nights (i.e. Taco Tuesday) & a modern jukebox.

Like the owner and great dud that runs the bar. Dont remember his name (have a good guess) but wears a bandana...truly enjoyed him and his bar. Local patron

Nice little spot to grab a drink and play some board games (games are provided by the bar). We tried the food a couple times and everything has been tasty so far, especially the nachos and the French dip.

Quaint dive bar ambiance where the food outshines the drink which is a tough feat in itself. Hats off to "THE CHEF" your BBQ beef and pulled pork sando tickled my test buds. This is a great bar to come to after work with some co-workers and knock a few. Surprisingly delighted.

A great spot to belly up and have a few drinks for the big game, or stop in for one before or after catching the bus. The Double J Saloon, has a friendly, no judgement style staff that welcomes everyone with the same attitude. They make strong drinks for a reasonable price, and always have good deals for happy hour. It may not look like a place you would go for a bite, but their menu is surprisingly good! We have had the homemade cheese dip, and two different flatbreads. Both have been delicious.

A perfect neighborhood bar filled with board games, classic 80's and 90's music, and a pool table. I couldn't ask for more! Drinks were reasonably priced. I had a manhattan and it was one of the better ones I've had in awhile. People would sing along to the songs, but the music wasn't too loud. you could still carry a descent conversation. The pictures uploaded on Yelp, don't give this place justice. I'll take pictures next time I go. It's a "dive" bar but not as seedy as the backdoor which isn't quite my scene. I'm looking forward to trying some of their food and watching football here with friends in the fall.

Exactly what Lake City needed! The Double J really fills a need in this neighborhood, it's a full service bar that you wouldn't be embarrassed to take out-of-town folks too. They have a full bar and a decent cocktail menu as well as your standard beer choices. I haven't tried their food yet but it smelled really good. I look forward to going back and trying some.

We luuuuurv it here. Laid-back, reasonably priced, great jukebox (download the Touchtunes app), and tasty bar food. Friendly staff. Why aren't you here right now? Get over here. But expect a divey atmosphere and no fanciness.

The beer I had was awesome and service was friendly! I didn't get any food but it smelled super good and the happy hour prices were great. I'll be coming back!

This place is a great dive bar. They have the best ribs in town. I have had them without bbq sauce because they are so so moist. They have great bbq sauce 3 different KC style and a Carolina if you so choose

We were excited to have a new spot to try on Lake City Way. Bartenders seemed surly and disconnected - just not friendly or engaged at all. Place was permeated with a burnt cheese smell which I still haven't forgotten. We asked about food and one of the bartenders gestured wordlessly toward the board at the front; menu unclear. Won't be back.

Great new casual spot with all the fab bartenders from Ravenna Ale House - bring your liver ....or not...food pretty good too ....unsure about following the crew from the move , but turned out to be well worth it
