Double Scoop Ice Cream Atlanta

Saw a social media post about this place, on a site I rarely visit, and couldn't believe how close it was to me! The young man working the drive thru was polite, and easy to understand. I ordered something a little out of the ordinary for me, but it sounded great on the menu. The Rum Cake Sundae is very, very delicious. The cake was nice and warm under the ice cream, flavorful and sweet, but not so sweet that the ice cream had to compete with it. Worth the value for sure! Also, the location is soooo cute, and there's even dairy free / vegan options! Black owned and delicious, I'll be back too soon.

You won't believe the hidden gem I found! The customer service is absolutely amazing, and the ice cream is incredibly creamy and flavorful. This place easily has the best customer service on the entire west side of Atlanta! I feel so lucky to live just around the corner. The ice cream scoops are massive, and it's super kid-friendly! My absolute favorite is the unforgettable combination of rum-raisin and cake sundae. This place is a must-visit!

The temps were warm here this past weekend, so we decided to stop in for a cool treat. What a joy! I had the delicious Vegan Oreo flavor and my cousin had the Birthday Cake flavor, which she also loved. Awesome customer service. Will definitely return to try other flavors!

Visited twice on weekday evenings and was serviced quickly and conveniently through the drive-thru. I’d recommend the brownie sundae, strawberry shortcake and banana pudding ice creams. Excellent customer service from the young gentleman and the woman in the drive thru. I’m happy I found a local black owned ice cream parlor to support, especially with the warmer months approaching!

My husband and I were driving from Arkansas to Florida and was looking for milkshakes. We pulled this restaurant from google. They don’t have milkshakes but the service and sundaes didn’t disappoint. Kaela (the young man) was very pleasant. Thank you!!! The picture was a brownie sundae 😂

Great ice cream. The Vegan Oreo was delicious with the sweet potato pound cake and it is sold seasonal only. The menu has a lot of good flavors Also the owner is sweet and very professional with her customers.The price is great for the premium ice cream compared to places like Kilwins ,Scoops, Jeni’s and Bruster

I stopped by this location and it didn’t disappoint. From the friendly voice behind the speaker to the efficiency of my order everything was great. The most important part was how delicious my order was! I tried something new this time, the strawberry shortcake and it was phenomenal. I will definitely be getting that again! I hope you try them out because service like this is hard to find!!

I absolutely LOVE this place. If I wasn’t so lactate intolerant I would treat myself to this wonderful delight at least once a week. The customer service deserves a chef’s kiss. It is a drive thru only, cashless BLACK OWNED BUSINESS. Another thing they have an Egg Nog ice cream that will only be available seasonally, please go get you a DOUBLE SCOOP before it is gone. I always order the brownie delight and change my ice cream. Yesterday I had the Brownie Delight with chocolate and eggnog ice cream, Absolutely delicious.

Omgosh this ice cream is soooo good! Perfect amount of sweetness. I wonder if they churn it themselves. It was so good I went 2 days in a row back to back. The first day I had the strawberry shortcake. The cake and strawberries were so good. I wanted more strawberries. Haha. I also had a scoop of the apple pie. Tasted just like the pie. I also had the sugar free butter pecan. I absolutely love the sugar free option. No guilt! The next day I had the rum sundae. The liquor was definitely present. Delish! But the strawberry shortcake wins the award. This is my new ice cream spot in the neighborhood, so move over Dairy Queen!

Everyone loves ice cream and this ice cream is superb! I was happy to hear of the business' expansion to the West side of Atlanta and had to be sure to stop in on opening day. This is the second location for the shop, whose original location is in Stonecrest. The shop offers a wide variety of flavors, as well as options to fit dietary needs, such as oat milk. The location is not far from 285 and fairly easy to reach. I was greeted warmly by the staff who were eager and willing to answer any questions I had and provide recommendations. Got to meet one of the founders as well so I feel so special lol. There is parking available and even a drive thru! I will definitely be returning and recommend all dessert lovers to do the same.

The flavors are awesome and the service is great. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Adamsville community or driving through Adamsville. Please support this business.

The ice cream is pretty good. The drive-thru is simple as well. Just don't speed around the corner. I didn't get a chance to go inside or try a different flavor. But the praline pecan with caramel sauce was good. And the service was nice as well.

Black own, but I had butter pecan and chocolate, this is cream is so delicious I also go the original one in Stonecrest. Love this ice cream please try

The service was great and the ice cream was so good. The flavors were so unique and yummy. Also the overall ambiance of the place was great. But it took a long time.

Amazing variety of flavors. Hands down some of the best ice cream we've ever eaten! You will not regret stopping by this gem. We will be returning soon.
