Look, I'll be honest here. Is Doughy Fresh the very best pizza in Fresno? No. But it is GOOD! And it is hard to find a pizza in Fresno that does not taste like cardboard, especially in the neighborhood you find Doughy Fresh in. Good ingredients, decent crust, the right amount of cheese, and enough sauce that you *don't* have to order extra sauce just to avoid getting basically cheese bread unlike the Little Caesars across the street. And they're more than competitively priced on their single topping large pizza compared again to the Little Caesars cross street competition, and somehow even better priced than the 7-11 pizza across the other street (why 7-11 pizza is more expensive than most pizza places is beyond me). You can't go wrong ordering from here.

Really really good pizza and wings. I am a very picky person when it comes to pizza but I gave this place a chance and let me tell you they do not dissapoint.

They really should be charging more! Great locally owned. With everything else going up, I've been looking for a go-to pizza place and Douggy seals the deal for me. Best price in town and better than any of these franchise / corporate owned places around town. Douggy makes it easy to support local.

My youngest and his Fresno High friends have been eating here and today my son asked me to get some pizza from here. It did not disappoint! And the service was great! Ordered a side of garlic bread and the person helping us took it from another order to help us out and not keep us waiting. Felt sad that their glass door appears to have been smashed. We will be returning.

Wow 👌 Amazing service. The owner is so great they made a mistake on my order and the next day he delivered a fresh pizza. So unexpected even when a mistake is made I continue to order from them because there food is always fresh and taste great. If you wanna support a local pizza joint this is it. I’ve lived near this little spot for years and feel terrible that I slept on something so good. The quality of their cheese is amazing, that’s the first thing I can’t get over, it’s rich and chewy whereas I find other places using cheese that’s really waxy and greasy. They also layer their cheese OVER the usual toppings, which I really appreciated because 1.) your toppings aren’t slipping off 2.) that first bite feels so good biting into a generous layer of cheese and 3.) the toppings bring you a surprise with each bite-not to mention, the toppings don’t burn which means I don’t end up with the roof of my mouth feeling raw. Maybe some folks might think I’ve being finicky, but I honestly appreciate their twist on toppings as someone who’s a little more sensory-conscious(?). The bread and sauce are also pretty yummy! Excited to be neighbors and become a regular.

This place is a hidden gem. Very delicious pizza at a very reasonable price especially in today's economy. May this business be blessed with much success! 🙏

I ordered ahead, combo pizza, they said 20 minutes. I waited 30 minutes. Pizza was OK, good price more than anything.

Our favorite family owned pizza place. Super friendly service. We get a few pies from here every month for the youth group I help run. The teens really enjoy the meat lovers, Hawaiian and plain cheese. When it's lunch for just myself or with my spouse I usually get their wings (10/10) or the meatball sub. Their single serve lasagna and spaghetti are also great.

Best place to order from food is always amazing. Amazing customer service. They made a mistake on my order and the next day the owner delivered a new pizza to me. It was so unexpected and will order from them for as long as I live in the area. I am picky when it comes to the crust and this place by far has the best.

I was in the mood for some pizzas, and after seeing good reviews and decent pizza pies on Yelp, I can say I had so much better elsewhere. This was my first time trying out Douggy Fresh Pizza located on Palm & McKinley in Fresno, CA. I was disappointed as a foodie enthusiast. I ordered their economy special, a large, thick-crust specialty pizza with pineapples and a large pepperoni pizza; it came with a 2-liter soda for under $34.00 after tax. 2/5 Large thick crust combo pizza There was barely any marinara sauce; part of the dough has an off-putting aftertaste; I had to spit it out. The dough and quality aren't that special, like over at Marcos Pizza. 2/5 Large pepperoni pizza There was barely any marinara sauce on this one too; it's equivalent to a little Caesar's pizza. I would rather order Costco's pizza or Marcos Pizza. 4/5 value is their strong point, along with good, friendly customer service. I was so excited to try Douggy Fresh Pizza because they almost have the exact menu and pictures like the late great Pacifica Pizza on Chestnut & Belmont. Agree or disagree during these hard Bidenomics times; it's still good knowing they have a budget-friendly establishment, but I wish the quality of their pizza was a bit better. I loved supporting local businesses versus the big corporate giants, but they would have to have something that I liked in order for me to be a returning customer. Thank you, Douggy Fresh Pizza. Dougie Fresh pizza is my favorite local pizza shop! Everything is super fresh and yummy. The large pizza is only $7.99! That's definitely a steal these days. The owner is sweet and funny, so that is also a plus

What a pleasant surprise! Affordable good, really good pizza. Was watching the Tyson joke of a fight and this establishment was around the corner of my friends house. Driven by it for years and never ordered. I live few miles away. I will now only order from here and take the drive. Clean and super friendly service.

In town for the night after a weeklong backpacking trip & this pizza was the most appealing out of all the options. I called in an order for pick up since they had carry out specials. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly & the service was quick and efficient. Generous w/ the toppings for one. Just enough fluff & crunch to the crust. Doughy fresh is a little local pizza spot. They have simple pan pizza that tasted pretty good. The best part of Douggy Fresh is their prices. This is the cheapest pizzas place in the Fresno area. This is not my favorite pizza but you get a lot of bang for your buck at this little local pizza place.

Great pizza at an affordable price. Most pizza are ready in 15 minutes for pickup. The staff is friendly and answered any questions you have about ordering a custom pizza. The cheese bread is really good as well!!

My first time coming here is my last. I ordered my food a simple XL pepperoni and cheese bread. While waiting other people trickled in and were picking up orders. The person who took my order and wrote it down in front of me mind you, asked me what my order was. I told her then continued to wait. Then another employee asked me if I needed to order as I am sitting down. Uh if I needed to order I would be standing at the counter. I told her I already placed my order and she asked me what it was. It was at this point I had about made up my mind. It wasn't until I got the "XL" pizza that it was solidified. It looked to be a large the pepperoni was covered with cheese looking more like a cheese pizza than a pepperoni. To top it off it wasn't even cut. First and last time I go here.

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic! The dough is perfect, the veggies were fresh, and the jalapeños were a perfect addition. I hope this place survives the economy, because it's special!!

Douggy style veggie calzone with chicken added ordered. Worker was very kind and said it would be 10 minutes. Arrived and went in. The worker was nice. Came in exactly 10 minutes later and it wasn't ready yet. I paid for the order and the worker gave me a take home menu when he saw me taking pictures of their menu inside and he was nice. Clean and safe. Nice wall decor. There's only one table in there if you wanted to sit and eat inside. Only a couple minutes later and the order was ready and handed over by a kind masked worker along with a thank you. I got ready to walk out and there was another thank you! Appreciated! Lunchtime! Got everything ready. Calzone split in half. My goodness! calzone is HUGE! We were going to do a salad with it, but not after seeing how big it is! Wowza! My half was cheesy deliciousness! Fresh veggies and perfectly cooked! Fantastic! Mother said hers was great! That it tasted fresh and was great with the cheese on top aka Douggy style! Good service and Great calzone! Highly recommended!

Someone recently told us that Douggy Fresh is a Tower rite of passage, so here we are! We called the order in and within 15 mins picked up our order. Currently the Economy special is 25.99 (28 after taxes) and feeds 4 people comfortably. That's a pretty good deal IMO! Here's an honest opinion: The pizza was pretty basic. Like run of the mill pizza- no frills no extra seasoning on top, just pizza. But I liked it! A lot of pizza is way too heavy and greasy and makes you feel sick after eating it. This pizza feels like /real/ food. So because it is exactly what it advertises. Classic pizza. This will probably be a go to when we don't want to cook.

Have been craving a yummy somewhat greasy pizza. Searched Yelp reviews for something close by. Douggy Fresh Pizza came up with lots of good well deserved reviews!!! So glad we chose them at this time. Upon arrival there weren't any customers inside, ordered a small half cheese & half Hawaiian Pizza, small $12.99 + tax + fee for using debit or credit card)cash next time) not bad pricing. The pizza was ready in about 10 minutes. Wow we definitely found our favorite local pizza place. Had lots of nicely melted cheese, lots of Canadian Bacon & Pineapple, the crust was one of the best I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, not too thick & great flavor. While waiting they did receive a number of phone in orders & they do deliver. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed! Eat & support local.

This place has different but incredible pizza. My family has 2 specialties we get here. They may sound unusual but I promise that you will be hooked. The first one is my favorite. The Douggy special - a breakfast style pizza with eggs on it rather than pizza sauce. The family favorite is a shrimp pizza. it is amazing. Low cost for large pizzas. Try it you will be hooked...

I love their pizzas and their chicken wings. My favorite pizza is the vegetarian with shrimp on top. The service is awesome. It's quick fast you can call in an order and by the time you drive there it's ready. It's really not a restaurant it's more like a pick up and go, but it's nice and quiet. The man, the older gentleman which I think is the owner he's very nice. His whole crew is very nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza. Large pep goes for $5.99 - not overflowing with toppings but they do cover the pie which I guess is not always a given at cheap and fast pizza joints. I've only tried the pepperoni pies so can only base my review on them. It's a very tiny spot with only one table and a couple of chairs for waiting for take out which I've only ever seen people do. It is not very clean - it's always disappointing and annoying when food establishments don't bother with a minimum amount of cleanliness. Service is ok to friendly most times lol I'm usually greeted right away but sometimes it takes a minute for someone to come out from the back. I started coming here because I refuse to go to little caesars across the street and sometimes I need to pick up a pie for dinner somewhere close to home.

By far one of the best hidden gems pizza wise in Fresno. Just a good football pizza, family owned and operated and just the nicest of people. Very good pricing and they have deals. 10/10 highly recommend

Called in a order during my lunch and it was ready on time like they said! (Something I was scared of due to other places not having the order ready on time) The gentleman was sweet & even cracked a few jokes. Ordered a calzone & wings and it was delicious!! Definitely your traditional pizza place. Simple & tasty. Will be coming back when I'm in the area.

We love Douggy Fresh Pizza. We love getting the large pepperoni with white sauce. But this picture is a pizza for the kids. They love regular pizza. The crust always tastes fresh and fluffy. The pizza is so yummy.!! The owner is so friendly and nice.!!

I've lived in Fresno for 14 years now. I've never once gave it a thought to try this place out. Today i did! Whoa, cheap delicious pizza, great quality! Thick crust, quick and friendly service. For an X-large 1 topping pizza plus a 2 liter i paid $16.28 plus a .35¢ fee to use your debit card. I highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back!

We are new to Fresno and we had amazing pizza growing up so we made a list of top reviewed places and we are enjoying each one. Service was great and the pizza crust was good but missing something my opinion but my husband said 5 star and have a new pizza place. We enjoyed everything about it except the distance from our house, but worth it. Shop was great the staff helpful we will see you soon.

HOT, FRESH, SAVORY, MELTY delicoiusness! We live a few miles from the restaurant, and their delivery is so fast we have to wait for the pizza to cool down just to be able to pick it up without burning our hands. They are so super nice too. We have had their pizzas (you HAVE to try the Douggy) salads and pastas and all are really good.

I love their pizza. Been coming here since they opened. If you call it in, the wait isn't long. The family that runs it is always so sweet and friendly. Not a fan of chain pizza place across the street, plus I rather eat/shop at locally owned.

We love the pizza here! The people are always nice and their pizza is so frkn good! We also get an extra large ham pizza with breadsticks. And they have never disappointed! This is our go to pizza when we're in the mood for good pizza. Also their prices are so cheap! I can't believe it. We love this place.
