We went here on a whim and were delighted with the donut options here. We got two donut's - I forget their names - both were awesome. We also got the Turkey Sandwich and a Veggie Crepe. The sandwich felt almost homemade. Will come back here again.

Great little place to grab a bite and/or desserts. Both the sandwiches and donuts are super tasty. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of parking. There is limited seating inside. Get there early for the best selection of donuts!

We traveled just for their Banana Fritters and it was worth the drive ! Typical donut shop with a variety to choose from. They have large fritters and mini ones. Both Banana and Apple Fritters were delicious.

The good: Breakfast burritos are made from scratch! Also the donuts are good. Cons: the inside could use a major renovation, it doesn’t feel “clean”. Looks like it needs a major deep clean & I don’t see a good “grading” on the window.

The large cinnamon donut and the buttermilk donuts were my favorites. We got a dozen and they were gratefully woofed down. Clean cute little place in a strip mall. Blink and you miss it but worth a try!!

Came at 8AM on a Saturday to fully-stocked cases of gorgeous doughnuts (': We got five: a small apple fritter, large banana fritter, glazed braided doughnut, classic glaze doughnut, and a buttermilk bar. The banana fritter defo lives up to the hype--I much prefer it to the apple. There's banana inside the fluffy dough and glazed exterior that makes the texture so enjoyable. It reminds me of banana bread, but better because it's fried and sweet (but not too sweet) and a doughnut. Their glazed doughnut was delightfully light and fluffy with a classic exterior. The buttermilk bar was amazing!!! Potentially the best of the bunch. Perfectly dense, but not too dry--chef's kiss. Will definitely be back for more!! And will be getting the buttermilk bar, banana fritter, and classic glaze again for sure.

Wanted a donut on a Sunday morning so tried this place! Its small and unassuming. They have donuts, crepes, breakfast sandwiches. No line at 915am and they were well stocked. We got mini apple fritter, mini banana fritter, original glazed. I loved the apple fritter! Not oily/greasy. The banana fritter was different, with a banana aftertaste and more fluffy compared to the apple. Looking forward to returning. Plenty of parking as its in a plaza.

Finally, my wife and I got to try the apple and banana fritters from this donut spot! It was well worth the drive for these. There are two different sizes for each fritter; large or small and the price range is from $2.50 (S) and $3.50 (L). The banana fritter is my ultimate favorite. It has a subtle outer crisp and the mashed banana blends perfectly with the dough. The texture of the dough is soft and pretty moist. I've never seen a banana fitter before so this is truly unique. I would definitely heat this up and eat it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for next time. The apple fritter was pretty good too but I've had a better one somewhere else. This is delicious and the ratio of apple and cinnamon is just right. I do wish it had more of a crispy outer layer with a buttery soft dough but overall, this was good and definitely a top 3 apple fritter for me. I'll be sure to come back again for their banana fritter!! So good!

Delicious old school looking donut place! Got the glazed and apple fritter since I went almost close to closing and they didn't have the banana fritters. I will come back for the banana because the apple was delicious. The sugar coating and crisp on the outside and sweet delicious cinnamon and apple flavor dough on the inside. Pairs perfectly with hot tea. I got all 3 for $7.

I am SO happy to finally got to try the banana fritter! I've been wanting to try it for so long! My brother picked me up one while passing by, and they only had one left! The smell of it was delicious. Incredibly sugary and strong banana scent! The taste was yummy!! You could really taste the banana. I do prefer this one over an apple fritter; however, I never tried this place's apple fritter before yet. I will have to do and compare! Love it!

I saw Dough Boy's go viral on social media and had to come try their Banana Fritter! It was soooo good. Same crunch as a normal apple fritter but with sweet bananas instead. It is not soggy at all and perfectly fried. The donuts are not overpriced and they were able to put some banana fritters on hold for us to pick up later in the day. Clean donut shop and they have some cute y2k gachapon machines (Peek a pooh's!) Love their donuts and the overall vibe of the store :) Such a gem in Dublin!

I stopped by on a Sunday morning and was happy it wasn't crowded. They've got the classic donut shop lineup..... glazed, maple bars, plus seasonal theme such as pumpkin chai. The apple fritter was properly glazed. That crunchy, sugary shell was the best part! Definitely try the banana fritters! You've got to appreciate the fluffy texture and those bits of banana in every bite. The only downside was the guy who took my order because he was quite aloof. Other than that, the donuts are solid.

Came here again for the breakfast burrito. They have a unique style of using a crepe wrap. The wrap is exceptionally soft. I honest feel like the. Bacon could be more crispy. But still delicious. Shameless plug: just noticed I got the featured photo!!! W00t!

So much hype I arrived at 9:45 am. Was really looking forward to having a good food experience eating the INFLUENCER famous "Banana Fritter" only to say it was really "meh" flavor tasted like apple since it fried in the same oil, and the apple fritter was bland too. The other donuts were really dry as well. I would never recommend this spot to Homer Simpson or to any of my LE or FD friends. But hey, to each its own. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Two words: Banana Fritter. Get it. We called ahead to reserve two of the large banana fritters (but if you come in early, no need to call in advanced as they are stocked up) and they were soooo delicious. The banana flavor shines through and it was not overly oily or greasy. Great size as well. We also tried one of their small apple fritters and we thought it was pretty good, but the banana fritter was definitely a special treat. I've had better blueberry donuts elsewhere and the buttermilk was decent. I would come back just for the banana fritter!

We came up from the South Bay to run errands and thought to try out their well known banana and apple fritters. We ordered a large banana and a mini apple. Taking the first bite, they were pretty good. Although, the middle of the large banana fritter had a raw doughy taste and consistency. Like a medium rare fritter. Slightly undercooked lol. Maybe it was just me.. who knows. I'd give it another shot

I went because of all the hype for the banana fritters. It definitely met the expectations! The banana fritter was so delicious! Better than I expected. The apple fritter was good too but couldn't match the banana.

This is a great little donut shop with pleasant employees. The donuts here are great and not greasy tasting. They are a nut free store so it's a safe place for anyone with allergies. They have a good selection of donuts, donut holes, and some sandwiches. I saw that they have some giant donuts for sale too.

T and his staff are amazing and the apple fritter is the bomb, my husband loves their cinnamon rolls and my daughter and I love their Nutella, banana and strawberry crepes.

Delicious breakfast burritos wrapped in a crepe instead of a tortilla and delicious croissants and donuts. Ordered a personalized giant donut for my son's birthday, I know he'll love it.

I have been going to Dough Boy Donuts for over 30+ years! I grew up in Dublin and these are hands down the best donuts in the Bay Area! I ordered donuts for my girls birthday and they did not disappoint! I hope this family business is around for many more years to come!

Just moved out of this neighborhood so I'm a little sad it was my last time here yesterday. What makes this place better than every other donut place is the breakfast burritos are made with homemade crepes. They don't use tortillas and it takes these burritos to a whole other level. Freshly made crepe wrapped around fluffy eggs, bacon, cheese and tomatoes - so delicious!! Their donuts are really good too! I got a Boston cream donut filled with rich cream, a blueberry cake and a glazed old fashioned.

Located in Dublin's Shamrock Village Center, Dough Boy's Donuts transports you back to the casual, no-frills neighborhood donut shop where people go to enjoy their donuts (or crepes, breakfast sandwiches) and self service coffee either to dine in at one of their booths or to-go. They have a variety of donuts to choose from but our favorite go-to donuts are: Glazed raised donut (5/5): Perfection. Light, slightly chewy and sweet without being oily nor having any aftertaste. Sometimes when I go there after 12 noon, they are sold out. Glazed donut holes (5/5): See above. Perfect for sharing with others and satisfying your sweet tooth. Plain old-fashioned donut (5/5): A bit crunchy on the outside with a cake like interior, the plain old-fashioned donut is not sweet but satisfies that donut craving. Again, it doesn't taste oily nor does it have any aftertaste. Now, if you want it sweet, then you can decide between glazed or maple. This is a family run business and the folks behind the counter are helpful.

Whenever I want donuts, this shop is my top choice. They have many varieties, each with its own unique flavor and all are excellent. My kids love the mini ones, perfect for one bite. If you love donuts as much as I do, give them a try. You definitely won't be disappointed.

visit the store and staffs are nice and polite. first time trying the donuts here and as usual, my favorite is glazed donuts. the dough and taste are ok. not taking picture because i am craving and hungry already...

Really good nothing more to say. The sandwich was made with care and respect ! Definitely was not slapped together. The workers are relaxed and pretty helpful.

If I'm not coming there for their donuts which are great, I would normally grab myself either a BLT sandwich or any of their crepes. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu to eat.

They were closed today at 1:20. nothing available. A couple also went there earlier and they tried to get a crêpe and nothing was available at that time.

A nice family owned and managed donut shop with the very best donut selection and quality. Not greasy, not heavy tasting. Best chocolate bars, apple fritters and frosted donuts made. I used to come here every Sat. morning, enjoy my chocolate bar and coffee while reading the SF Chronicle. Nowadays, I come when I can, and still can have a quiet morning with my favorite chocolate bar and coffee, and have the owner remember me. I am thankful that this shop survived the Pandemic. It's nice to see families coming in for their pink box or for a sit down breakfast treat. This shop has been here since I first came to Dublin, 30+ years ago. Great that some good things never change.

I'm sad to say this place was not the one ): I really wanted a donut and breakfast this morning and my usual go to place Johhny's Donuts was out of the donut I like. I went here and ordered a breakfast burrito, which should be noted that its made with a crepe not a tortilla! The crepe is really rubbery and I couldn't figure out why my first bite tasted so weird, at first. I told my partner "wait what's wrong with the tortilla!". It was very greasy and small for $10. At this price, I could have gotten a better and bigger burrito from a Mexican restaurant across the way. I wish they would have labeled the burrito on the menu as "Crepe wrapped burrito" or something along those lines. Very misleading. The donuts are OK and thats an overstatement. They're very greasy and leave a heavy feel in your stomach. I wouldn't recommend this spot. My customer service experience was also very short (as the burrito lol) and didn't seem pleasant. I'm not finishing the other half of my donut or the burrito, currently on my way home to make myself some breakfast. Terrible

Came in for a cinnamon roll and also bought a chocolate bar. The bar was good but I threw away the cinnamon roll as I didn't taste any cinnamon. The roll was mostly fried dough with no flavor and kinda dry. Never threw away a cinnamon roll before and definitely not coming back here for donuts again.

Yep it's consistent. The couple times I came here (I'm from San Jose), the donuts have always been just the right amount of sweetness. Yesterday I got my other favorite the old fashioned glaze. While most like the soft and airiness of donuts, I go for the denser texture of the old fashion. One donut is enough calories for nearly a meal. I ate 1/2 of mine for dessert, but if this was breakfast it would've been a perfect sweet and bitter combination with a cup of black Nescafé coffee. I got a couple dozen donuts for a birthday party. I told the cashier that I came all the way from San Jose just for the donuts. It's a bit of a stretch, but he threw in a couple extra donuts for the me and the family to enjoy right away. That's a wonderful way to treat your customers. This place is located in what used to be a run down strip mall. Afterwards we went to Big Lot, Dollar Store and discovered a Luv2Play indoor playground next door. What a great place to shop and play if you're ever in the Dublin area.

The pink donuts are so yummy. I'm glad that this donut place takes card it is definitely more convenient for me. There were so many different types of variety of donuts The sprinkle one is okay, a little dry. The apple fritters are good.

I have been coming to this donut shop since i was a little kid being taken here before school by my parents to get some yummy donuts Id say about 20 + years!!!! Fast forward Im old now and have kids of my own that i take here as well, I have always had amazing customer service and just all around a great trip every time! This time was a little different they have a employee that is new to me i have never seen him before but he made our trip there very unpleasant! He seems like he's depressed or unhappy to be working, his attitude towards his customers is just awful, he made me feel like i didn't belong in there and i need to hurry up and go so that is what i did, I will no longer be back here. which is such a shame cause i grew up coming here, But i will not be treated this way. The employees name is Adrian he claims he is from La ( i think he told me this to try and intimidate me ). Maybe in a year or so i will check back to see if he is still working if not ill be back! I like the quality of donuts available at this Cafe and been a frequent visitor. Tried Nutella strawberry crepes here for the first time and it was enjoyable. Felt a little rubbery as I was finishing it, but overall a good try for the price.

Amazing breakfast burritos! They dont actually use tortillas, they use the crepe to make the burrito and its delicious! Has soo much flavor! Also ordered 2 blueberry cake donuts and loved it! Super moist not too sweet perfect texture. I really like this donut shop I'm amazed how good those burritos were!

Raspberry filled donut....really???? What is going on. I love raspberry filled donuts until I got this donut with raspberry. Raspberry is the first ingredient in the name and should have more to enjoy when you bite in. I literally had to eat into the donut to get to the raspberry in the middle. I'm disappointed....please bring back the original raspberry filled donuts.

How can I be consistent with my nutrition when the boss shows up with donuts and a cinnamon roll for me? To be truthful, I was asked what I wanted and I only ate the cinnamon roll. However, with only three other staff, at the end of the day, only the apple fritter was leftover. Wasn't me! No complaints were uttered. Damn good donuts!

I'm always on the hunt for the best donuts. Tried this place cuz they also had breakfast sandwiches and crepes. I cannot say this place has the best donuts I've ever had. They almost earned 3 stars for the donuts and egg sandwich I got but the Apple fritter I saved for last got them advanced to 4 stars and the best thing I had. I got my usual favorite glazed twist, a cherry glazed, cinnamon roll donut for my son which he seemed to enjoy and asked for more. I prefer a thick fluffy donut and their dough was more on the raw side close to cookie dough texture. I'm sure there's folks out there that like that consistency but not me personally. They do have a lot of glaze on their donuts - not my preference either. The egg muffin sandwich I got was just ok.

We have picked up Donuts here for years. Consistently good! Living in the Donut wasteland that is our hometown, hubby stopped by when he was at Sprouts today. Picked up two cinnamon rolls. Lots is cinnamon.... practically perfect! Only issue I have is a bit too much frosting for my taste. I am sure most folks disagree. He can bring these home anytime!

Dough Boy's Donuts is the place I grew up going to and I have very fond memories here. I remember my grandpa taking my grandma, sister and me out here for breakfast to get donuts probably almost 20 years ago one morning to celebrate his and my grandma's wedding anniversary. I also frequently went here with my family especially my dad when I was teen, we'd go here after he picked me up from school and we'd talk about where I'd go to college one day. I love this place. It's run by great people! My favorite thing here as a kid were their nutella crepes! Yum! Their donuts are delish and great service too! We'll continue to come back for the years to come!

WOW truly the best donut shop and 5 minutes walking from me!! I can't believe I've been disloyal all these years overlooking ya all and looking at times out of town for the best apple fritter and maple old fashion donut when I want to have an occasional celebrate and treat yo self donut!!! Or maybe it's a good thing I didn't discover your donuts till a decade later because now in pandemic we crave you anymore!! Sending so much love, appreciate and kudos to this family ran business! Wow the apple fritters are perfect crispy on the outside perfect size not ginormous and yes folx it has apples in it hahahahh!!!! Wow the old fashion maple donut was amazing I had it with my coffee this past Saturday and went fir a long bike ride and I was satisfied till my early dinner!!! My favorite donut shops are always little mom and pop shops. Since moving, I haven't found a place that satisfies my cravings of a fluffy donut - until I went here! I ordered some simple donuts, got the half dozen consisting of old fashions, glaze, chocolate, blueberry cake, and chocolate devils cake donut. Oh my, I haven't had such tasty, fluffy donuts in such a long time! With every sample of each donut, I could not tell which one would be my favorite because they were all so good! I asked for recommendations for a less sweet donut for my last donut, and they suggested 2 different ones. Then they were so kind to give me the other flavor I didn't end up picking so I could try both! And so glad they did, because that one easily became one of my favorites, with the crunch of the outside and softness of the inside...like I said, they were all perfect! Definitely would come by again whenever the donut craving hits!

Great experience here! First time trying it out, although we've passed by many times. Went in not knowing their hours. It was 2:45 and they closed at 2:00, but David was very welcoming and answered all of my questions. Ended up getting around 2 dozen different donuts for our family and friends to try! Everything we had was very delicious and fresh, considering it was past closing that we got them! I highly recommend this place to satisfy your donut cravings! We will be back soo

This is our neighborhood mom and pop as barebones as it gets donut shop. If you're looking for Mr fancy pants type of donut, this ain't your place. But if you need a good familiar donut, then look no further. This place is in a sleepy stripmall and comes with no frills. We usually get the plain glazed donut, and it's really good here. What's not to love? Just fresh, sweet, soft pillowy goodness, with the right amount of sugar crunch on the outside. We also tried out their crepes, which is actually pretty good. Pre covid, we even sat at one of the non descript booths. Owners here are nice and work real hard. Go support these guys.

One of the best donut places in Dublin CA. Good places to hang out and have delicious donut and coffee. I would say it a good places to hang out with friends or family. The owner and one assisant are awesome people.

Nearly perfect donuts just the way I like them. Fluffy, cloud-like donuts are the best, and Dough makes them very, very well. Their glazed donuts are great, creamy custard filling, tart jam, rich fritters. Their coffee was also surprisingly good. The one thing that could improve: their filled donuts should have even more filling. Donuts have to be worth the calories and oh boy is Dough Boy dangerous.

Today was my first time here. The service was great and the donuts were even better. I know where I will be getting donuts from now on.

LOVE this place! I've been coming here since before I could even see into the top shelves of the donut case myself and it's still my go to local donut shop. The workers are always friendly and efficient even when there's a long line and the donuts are always delicious! My favorite are the French donuts but any of them will satisfy a sweet tooth.

As I walked in, The lady behind the counter was friendly. The man behind the counter I felt made fun of me because I just wanted two custard filled donuts. He said to the lady three times , "Only two donuts ?!" with a rolling his eyes type of attitude . He should be grateful to even have any business. Out of the donuts filled with the custard, only one was filled with barely any custard. Also, I had an Apple fritter. It was very dry & no flavor .
