12 Best Pizza Spots in Charleston | Eater Carolinas

"Mobile kitchen Dough Boyz Pizza has amassed an army of fanatic followers around the Lowcounty. The charred crust and just-thin-enough dough makes for repeat customers. The truck can be found at the Sea Island Farmers Market and various breweries. The pepperoni and banana pepper pie brings the right amount of spice and tang to satisfy, while the prosciutto pie is an indulgent blanket of ham-y goodness. Best for: Chasing down some of the freshest pizza around" - Denise K. James

First time here. Authentic NY style pizza, thin crust, and with all the usual toppings available. Ordered a side of meatballs which, I must say, are the best that I've had in Central Florida. They were large and well seasoned, very "fluffy" , not dense and chewy like others I have tried. Smothered in a perfect tomato sauce and topped with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. Highly recommend!

Fernando Cardona

Google
Just as good as the food at this restaurant is the service. The meatballs were to die for the pizza is just a perfect combination of dough and sauce and the wings were excellent as well. The food came out impressively fast and hot. I am definitely coming back!

I had an amazing experience at Dough Boy Pizza! The atmosphere was super chill and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out. The pizza itself was next-level — crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with fresh toppings that you can actually taste. You can tell they put real care into their recipes Clarissa is the best person they have here! Absolute sweet heart to everyone. Honestly deserves a good raise! I’m now a regular and she remembers my order every time too. Clarissa’s energy and professionalism took the whole experience up a notch as always. If you’re thinking about trying Dough Boy Pizza, do it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Clarissa as your server, you’re in for top-tier service!

My first time here had a dentist appointment in the area. Let me come check these guys out before my dentist appointment. As soon as I walked in the door it was great. ordered two slices from the window sat down and enjoyed. I will say its 100% pizza no hype Pizza was warmed up just right. Didn't look like or had that "slice been seating there allday" taste. I'll definitely be back.

Google
9.5/10 pizza was really good! The crust had the perfect crisp to it. The sauce was interesting to me not sure tasted different to me but all around pretty good best i had florida so far.

Google
Honestly the best pizza place in Orlando hands down. I’m from up North myself and constantly looking for legit good pizza. Found the perfect spot. They not only make good pizza all of them are so welcoming. Makes me feel like I’m back home. Love it here!

Google
This place was slammed on Saturday evening. So much they had trouble keeping track of orders so put your full name on the order if you call or place it online, too many people with the same name and at least know what you ordered! Staff is friendly and tries to take care of everyone. A lot of people waiting for pickups makes the front a bit crowded. NYC style pizza is the closest I had here in Orlando. The cheese and sauce are just like pieces in NY. Pretty pricey though for a small pie for $21. Better off with a large. Will be going back to try some more items.

Yelp
Oh boy oh boy ! Glad this place won our coin toss for dinner tonight. We decided to dine in and I'm glad we did as service was quiet and friendly. Lots of people picking up there to go orders so we knew it had to be good. We ordered a large half Margherita/ half BBQ pizza and a Greek salad and all were so so good! Slices were a perfect NY slice and full of great cheese. Ambiance was my favorite as I love house music and they were playing all the old school classics , I was dancing at the table and singing lol. We definitely recommend this place if you want some good pizza, Stromboli's, meatballs , salads or Italian pastas. They even had a chicken parmigiana garlic knot which we are definitely coming back to try with a different flavor pizza . Issa pizza vibe !!!

Yelp
As a fellow New Yorker, we can be quite picky with our pizza as many of us have fond memories of getting a $1 slice from "the spot". When you walk in it feels like you've been transported to NYC in the 90s. I'm pretty sure I've even heard a YYYUUURRR from the kitchen. Anyways- the pizza. AMAZING- great amount of cheese and toppings - followed but a great thin and crispy crust. You really can't go wrong with any of the toppings offered. The pizza is New Yorker approved- and no it's not the water that makes the pizza good.

Yelp
I have heard the buzz about Dough Boyz for a while and I was finally able to try it. I have to say it didn't disappoint. The pizza was amazing. This is supposed to be real NYC style pizza. We ordered to-go but the restaurant has some booths to dine-in. It is a very unassuming restaurant from the outside and inside is not fancy either but the food... the food was delicious. They were busy with pick up orders but it didn't take too long to get our pizzas. We got the personal size for supreme and the buffalo chicken. I loved the crust. It was perfect. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks.

Yelp
It was 4:30pm and all I had eaten all day was a piece of toast and a cup of coffee, I was STARVING! So we tried a variety of things, we ordered a regular cheese pizza, the Vodka Margherita pizza, a side pasta and a salad with blue cheese dressing. Everything was so delicious! But I think what stood out the most was the pasta. I know, something so simple yet so well executed, and it doesn't need meat, honestly, I really recommend you try it. In terms of pizza, the Vodka Margherita was stellar, would get that again for sure. Service was good, and the place is small but it gets the job done.

Yelp
DELICIOUS!!! This pizza really is the best in Orlando, it is crispy and packed with flavor. It is best to dine in and have it right out of the oven! The house made sauces are amazing and they really elevate the taste. Wings are also great!
google avatar

Yelp
Omg! This place makes the best pizza and pasta you will ever eat! The staff is super nice! And the waitress are very attentive to your wants. Every time I go there it never disappoints! Their are in the top of my list! Fresh and delicious Every time! Mouthwatering, gooey, and saucy in every bite! I'm always looking forward to going! And it's always packed which says a lot! Everyone around you is happy and enjoying what they ordered! Either for the first time visitors or the 100th time you never get tired of eating here. At I don't! And I usually order the same thing. Pizza (plain pizza or vodka pizza) with a side of pasta (regular marinara sauce with spaghetti). If it ain't broken no need to fix it! I'm am always very much satisfied with my choices!

Yelp
DoughBoyz Pizza is located on a small shopping plaza and overall, is a decent enough place for pizza. They brag about their crust and it is a pretty good crust. The sauce was a bit sweet, but not bad. I also would have preferred it a bit more well-done, but again, not bad. The restaurant is small, but I think it is more geared for takeout. The service was friendly. Two things that I think bear noting. The couple ahead of me tried ordering a slice of something that normally have and at just a bit after five o'clock, they were told that they were not making anymore pizzas to sell by the slice, so be advised on that. Also, if you want to use a credit card, they told me my large pizza, which out the door with tax was eighteen dollars, they would add a dollar. Overall, not a bad place for pizza, though I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Yelp
My husband and kids really enjoyed their pizza here (even though they had messed it up the first time but remade it without us even asking..) However, I had the spaghetti and meatballs and I was completely turned off by the meatball. It was soooo soft and soggy and flavorless I was shocked they serve it. I know this place is known for their pizza but I am more of a pasta person and that wasn't it.
google avatar

Yelp
When walked in we were greeted by the waitress and seated immediately. The decor was pretty cool and gave off New York vibes. I really enjoyed the freestyle music they had playing. We ordered cheese slices, a Sicilian slice, and a meatball parmesan sub. The food came out really fast and hot. The slices of pizza were just ok to me, I've had better slices else where. The meatball parmesan sub was a good nice and loaded with meatballs but the meatballs weren't good at all. They lacked flavor and were mushy, so as you're trying to eat the sub it's falling apart. The decor was great, the customer service also good, but the food not so much. I've had better slices elsewhere and don't plan on coming back.

Yelp
Pretty solid NY style slice. Service was good. Inside of the pizzeria is very basic, nothing that stuck out to me.
google avatar

James W.

Yelp
We saw DoughBoyz Pizza on social media and had to try it out. We loved the table with the map of New York and the artwork on the walls. The music definitely was a 80s/90s vibe. We ordered a Greek Salad and a large Half BBQ Chicken & Half Margherita pizza. The Greek salad was good. You can tell the salad dressing was homemade. It took maybe 5 to 10 minutes to get the pizza. Both styles of pizza were great. I loved the Honey Mustard combo with the BBQ sauce on the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Definitely need to come back to try more styles of DoughBoyz Pizza.

Yelp
We tried their deep dish pizza at the new location. After waiting almost 60 minutes for the pie, we didn't receive the requested order....no extra sauce, missing jalapenos, and very skimpy on the pepperonis. The pie reminded me of a pizza you would get at the high school cafeteria on Friday pizza day. Dry, fluffy, and lacking any real flavor. Not worth the money or wait in our opinion. Let's get Jets.
google avatar

Nichelle W.

Yelp
One year later and still good. I got a Sicilian corner and a root beer. Uncle had a slice and some zeppolis (doughnut holes)
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
I would give this place 5 stars for the name pun alone. But omg the fooddd. We got the arancini ($7 each), not listed on the menu we had but available on request, and it took me right to Sicily. So fresh and so good. Then we got the Grandma Sicilian $24, and I was in a Piazza listening to an old Italian woman. The red white and green sauce & cheese was perfection. You may underestimate this place based on its unassuming presence in a strip mall, but believe me it's a hidden portal to an island in the Mediterranean.
google avatar

Eddie P.

Yelp
I know everyone wants to go here for pizza as they should. But don't sleep on the sides and the pasta. They make the sauce fresh onsite and the vodka pasta is good. Mario the owner is nice and will take care of you.
google avatar

Deisa M.

Yelp
We've been here several times and every time this place exceeds our expectations. The food is always consistent in the quality! The service is also always so kind and the music is always throwbacks from the 90's which really is a vibe!! Today we had the vid pizza with the spicy honey mustard wings (I was surprised I liked this sauce!) and for an appetizer we had the chicken parm stuffed garlic knot! Absolutely delicious
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars for a great first visit! We've been wanting to try DoughBoyz Pizza but haven't had a chance to make it out. We finally did on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, it was pretty busy inside and we came for a late lunch. For food we ordered the Grandma Sicilian (only comes in one size) for $23.99. It's a square pizza, with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto drizzle. The flavors were so nice together! It does take a good 20 to 25 minutes, so keep that in mind if you're hungry! We started with arancini balls, I saw others post about them but I didn't see them on the menu. They have them normally but you have to ask and they are quite substantial, a little on the pricer side (around $7 each) but it definitely brought be back to our trip to Sicily! Service was great and they checked on us often to see if we had everything we needed.

Ashley A.

Yelp
Best pizza in town! Love the atmosphere and people . Every time I come here I feel like I'm transported to NY in the best way possible. Oh and the wings are perfectly crispy and seasoned just right.
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
Kinda bummed I didn't love this place. I was excited to try it because I'd seen so many good reviews but left slightly disappointed. I got the wings and didn't finish them because they had a weird taste, maybe like a frozen flavor. They have an option for a side of pasta as an appetizer, which is a really decent portion. I got the vodka sauce and enjoyed that, and also, the grandma slice was great. I didn't love the cheese pizza as the crust tasted kinda of stale and the cheese had a strange taste to it. Not sure if it just wasn't a good day, but I will go back for the things I liked.

Yelp
Went there on a Friday night. The place was packed with a 15-minute wait to sit. I ordered to go. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Since it was dinnertime, they were running low on slices, so I didn't try the cheese. I was pleasantly surprised that they used cupped pepperoni on their pies. Usually, I don't see cupped pepperoni unless it's on a detroit style or Donatos/Masseys (call out to CBUS)! I was really there for the square pie... I wanted to try either the Grandma's or Brooklyn, so I went with the one that looked sumptuous. Due to a mix-up, they give me an Arancini on the house. If you've read my prior pizza reviews, you'll know I favor NY style and Neopolitan as I'm a ny Italian. But i do love me some Chicago & Detroit style. So how was it? And does it represent authentic NY style pizza? HELL YES! For me, there are several aspects in reviewing a pizza 1. It can't have any toppings to mask the inherent flavors of the dough, sauce, and cheese 2. Round vs. Square/Rectangle represent different tastes, and I'll review them separately Round Pepperoni Ok, so I would normally go for cheese, but it wasn't available 1. Dough. Excellent flavor, just too thin for a typically NY slice. It felt more like a tavern style pizza, but it folded well 8/10 2. Sauce. Nice flavor, tasted authentic 9/10 3. Cheese. This is what separates NY style pizza. I feel pies out on the island are a bit more greasier...if you can fold the slice and oil drips out, that is a difderen e maker. For me, I find a bit more grease enhances the flavor. Here it was excellent 10/10 Great mouth feel Added.bonus. Cupped Pepperoni. Holy crap it was good. 11/10 Brooklyn pie Dough. Typical for a Square pizza is a thicker crust. Sicilian would be typically thicker than Grandma's, so I thought I would try that. I thought the thickness was very good. The one area that could have been better is more of a garlic taste. 8/10 Cheese. The cheese was underneath the sauce and complimented the pie. 10/10. Sauce. This is the ingredient that makes or breaks this type of pie....The sauce was fresh tasting and fairly plain. It tasted as if it came out of a can [don't know). There was a slight tinny flavor. I would suggest adding a little oregano and/or basil and salt. Otherwise, it would have been perfect. 8/10 Overall. Omg, this is very good. There are very few places in Orlando that cam even come close to what Doughboyz constructed. Excellent job! Extra bonus Arancini ball. Omg. What a delight. Like buttah. It did. Ot even need the side of sauce. All in all, I would highly recommend Doughboyz pizza as a close approximation of NY style pizza Thank you @hungrypolarbear for posting this to your blog, otherwise I wouldn't have heard about it. https://youtu.be/2fEme77JzdE?si=Sxkko2d_Xn4CBKAI Would I visit again? Of course. Next time I'm in that part of town.

Yelp
Stopped by today to dine in for dinner w the fam. It's a small pizza shop in the plaza near the Walmart. I've visited one or two times before and Il say it's pretty decent. Food is typically hot and fresh. Ordered a water for my drink but could not drink it, tasted like skink water even w the small lemon. The wings stated they were award winning, I don't know exactly about that.. but they were decent. I ended up getting the Sicilian w pepperoni it's basically taste like a deep dish. The sauce was good. I was just expecting more out of the dough which lacked that crisp crunch in the inside of the dough and also maybe some garlicky flavor, I dk... I think you get my drift here though.

Yelp
I've heard good things about this place and was not disappointed! It's a small, casual spot with a row of booths for seating. I can imagine during busy times it might be hard to score a spot. The front has a case where you can your mouth watering looking over the different slice options. We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly and attentive. We asked about where the owners were from and were told they were from Brooklyn, Statin Island, and New Jersey, so they have a good idea of NY style pizza and what makes it great! We tried a Margherita slice, and grandma's Margherita slice, and a Buffalo chicken slice. The crisp, nicely browned crust holds up well to the toppings, which all tastes fresh and delicious. The chicken on the Buffalo slice was tender and their homemade Buffalo sauce yummy. The different versions of cheese slices were good with fresh mozzarella, tasty tomato sauce, and flavorful pesto. The crust ends are the kind you don't want to leave behind with a great chew and taste. These definitely remind me of slices I tried when visiting NYC. My only complaint was that it was quite hot inside. Maybe something was going on with the A/C (not unusual in FL, the summer is brutal!). But I didn't want to knock off a star for it because hot or not, this pizza is worth it! Definitely now my favorite NY style pizza in town. Can't wait to return and try more!

Yelp
Dough Boyz is the closest thing I've tasted to actual NY Pizza in my many years of living in Florida. Great food, everyone was friendly, have no complaints. Definitely my go to pizza shop.

Yelp
Four stars for a wonderful family business! Upon arrival, we were greeted by what I believe to be one of the owners and his two adorable boys. The boys greeted us also and so friendly! Clarissa helped us with some decisions and was very nice. There were plenty of booths to sit at, and we asked for a highchair that they brought over promptly. For appetizer, we got some wings, buffalo and garlic nuts. The garlic nuts were nice and crispy, and the wings had a really nice sauce on them. We tried the plain cheese and another one with pesto on it. Both were delicious! I only wished that the end of the crust of the pizza wasn't so hard. I was hoping to be as crispy. My toddler likes the end of the pizza and I wasn't able to give it to to her due to it being too hard. Other than that, it seems that they work very hard in there and the restrooms were nice and clean. It's a must try if you are in the area. Zeppoles were yum!

Yelp
I've been hearing great things about DoughBoyz, specifically that it is the best NYC pizza you can get in the Orlando area, so of course I had them on my list. I found myself in the Oviedo area on a Saturday afternoon and decided to stop in for lunch. They were BUSY, but luckily they had one booth left that we were able to grab. They went on a wait shortly after we arrived. As soon as I stepped in, I noticed all the pizza available by the slice in the display window as well as all the NYC references and decor. I love the sign that says "it's not the water" referring to the reason their pizza dough is so good, haha. We started with the garlic knots which come in an order of 6. They were served steaming hot, smothered in a garlic mixture -- delicious. My husband and I crushed them all. For our pizza, we decided to share the Florida Hog, which I would say is their version of a meat lovers, topped with imported Italian sausage, cup pepperoni, Boar's Head ham, and bacon. It was super tasty. We got a small 10" to share which was the perfect amount for the two of us. All in all, I would say DoughBoyz definitely lives up to the hype and I look forward to trying more of their pizzas the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best Customer Service I've experienced in a long time and the vibe itself with everyone working together sets the tone. The ambience makes you feel like you're stepping into a little piece of New York and the food was hands down Famazing!!!!!! Positively going back with the family.
google avatar

Yelp
Original NY pizza! Reminds me of home! Authentic and traditional right from Italy! Toys remind me of my childhood memories!! Stay in business!!! You're the best
google avatar

Bobby J.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza. Brought it home to eat and I think it lost its quality in travel. If I would have eaten it in the restaurant it may have gotten 5 stars from me. Sauce is really good and the crust was great. Definitely have to try it again and eat there! Overall great job!

Yelp
Came here for the first time the other day & I will forever be a customer of Dough Boyz. From the family oriented vibes, the impeccable service, to the flavorful food, everything was a 10/10. My husband & I came here on a random Thursday & the place was busy. Which is always a great thing! We were still seated at a table right away. Having been to New York many times, this was one of the best New York Italian places I've been to in the Oviedo/Orlando area. Love love loved the red sauce, the chicken Cesar wrap, & the meatball parm. Most restaurants we go to, more than likely I'm ordering a chicken Cesar wrap & this one by far was one of the best ones I've had. Whether it's to go or dining in I highly recommend Dough Boyz, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Derekica J.

Yelp
Every time, every single time I feel it's like the first time! The pizza is so amazingly delicious and the wings are top tier as well. The stuffed Parmesan chicken appetizer steals the show tho. This is a must have when dining at Dough Boyz. One order can feed 2 people. The staff is always wonderful to my family. We felt like we were in Brooklyn at a local pizzeria far away from Florida lol. And it's not the water! These chefs have just unlocked the cheat code for amazing pizza. Super thin crispy crust with the most savory sauce and freshly buffaloed chicken and cheese. They never miss! Every single time you'll be happy you stopped by.

Pedro A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere the food hasn't disappointed. The pizza has great flavor and the crust is always just right. The service is great too , very friendly staff.
google avatar

Colin T.

Yelp
I ordered 3 pizzas for the team. Somehow I got and was charged for 5. The pizza was just ok but not thrilled to have spent an extra $50 needlessly. If they record calls I wish they'd go back and see that I only ordered 3. Will update if resolved

Kenneth S.

Yelp
Went there today and the wings and pizza were amazing. Tried the Vodka pizza and garlic wings were on point. The service and restaurant was excellent and everyone was super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
google avatar

Yelp
Best pizza I've had since I've moved to Florida in December. One thing I miss about living up north. So thank you for making me feel at home with all this deliciousness!
google avatar

Nadia H.

Yelp
I have visited this delicious spot 3x's in 2 weeks. It is worth the drive - but call them up if you want something specific before it's gone for the day. Food so good, they sell-out quick! We ate the leftovers of the Brooklyn Sicilian pizza for 3 days. Popped it in the air fryer and it was fresh and amazing as day 1. You MUST try the stuffed garlic knots - out of this freakin' world. Very cool hard working people, food comes out fast and they are excellent at what they do - they've been in biz here for almost 7 months. Do your taste buds a favor and visit soon. Support this new local small business pizzeria.

Yelp
The absolute best and most amazing pizza ever. We love the family and their food!!! Husband loves the grandmas margharita and I love the meat lovers! Meat balls are too die for
google avatar

Larry S.

Yelp
Went here for lunch based on a recommendation from a good friend. We requested a well done pie and they delivered. It was flavorful and the crust was crispy. The restaurant is on the small side. The waitress and all other staff were pleasant and accommodating. Looking forward to going back and trying other square pies
google avatar

Lindsey U.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the pizza and the garlic knots, one of the best pizza places in the area. Perfectly thin with a little crunch on the bottom, the sauce was flavorful and the garlic knots were super fluffy!
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
Took 4 years living in winter park to find good tasting NY style pizza. I need look no further. This will be the only place I get pizza from, unless I want me a nice ol Pan pizza from the Hut. Beautiful bake on the pizza, awesome crust, not greasy. The not greasy is such a great thing. Even with all the pepperoni, it wasn't dripping. The worst thing you can get is a salty, greasy slice. Garlic knots were just as good. Thank you for answering my call.
google avatar

Talisa C.

Yelp
Dough Boyz really made me feel like I was in New York, I can't explain how satisfied I was with the authenticity. They have an extensive menu ranging from pastas to pizzas and dine-in seating where you can enjoy it all. They also sell pizza by the slice if you're on a time crunch and want a quick bite. Loved the thin, crunchy crust with each cheesy bite. I definitely want to try some of their menu items next time.
google avatar

Maria C.

Yelp
After being in the area my family and I decided to stop into DoughBoyz Pizza after seeing the various (and interesting) pizza options offered. Upon arriving we were greeted by friendly staff and landed on ordering the Grandma and Vodka Margherita pizzas. Both were good, but the vodka sauce was the star of the show as the pesto gave the pizza a sweet taste. The outdoor seating was crammed and the tables weren't big enough for three people to eat on. Overall, fun place to try for different pizzas, but in my opinion a one and done stop shop.
google avatar

Sonja H.

Yelp
I came in a little biased. I'm from Queens, NY and I love my NY pizza. Though I have a stipulation that NY pizza strictly comes from New York, there are places that come *really* close. This place is one of them. I ordered 4 different slices and all were excellent (vodka margherita being superb). I ordered plain, sausage and pep, white pizza, and the vodka as regular slices (unfortunately only pictured is the white and sausage/pep). My New Yorker mother also came with, found it delicious as well. I will say I'm a floppy slice type of girl and these were warmed to a crunchy crust/bottom. Not a big deal just preference. Staff was great and friendly. Establishment has limited seating; maybe 7ish tables? I will be back and I'm eyeing the Brooklyn next!

Yelp
Dough Boys We went on Sunday, and were lucky enough to be seated right away. We were exited about trying The Brooklyn (Sicilian Pizza), and they were out of it. We ordered some Garlic Knots for appetizer but they were also out of them. Here's what we ordered: Meatballs: Good flavor, the Ricotta cheese was cold, which was a little off. The Pepperoni Pizza and The Cheese Pizza were average, nothing special. The Vodka Margherita and The Grandma Margherita were awesome They serve in paper plates, I don't like that, specially when you're cutting. The waitress was very kind and brought us regular plates when we asked her. The service by Clarissa was outstanding. The overall experience was good, as always they have some room for improvement.

Yelp
When they say NYC pizza they mean it!!! I Don't KNOW HOW THEY DID IT BUT IT REPLICATES NYC pizza to perfection. The service was amazing. The girl behind the counter was definitely new or just not a NYC transplant but was super nice. The pizza chefs filled in for her and answered any questions I had. I did confuse her , and showed my age, when I asked how much the quarter waters were. I stand corrected- they are named hugs & cost 1.99. This place is worth the drive , next time I want to order a fresh pie & sit to enjoy.

Jamss K.

Yelp
Ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza, with a side of meatballs. Was not impressed by the food nor the $45 price tag. Dough seemed okay but the overall pizza was very dry and bland. The meatballs have some sort of filler... had one slice and half of meatball... disappointed.

Adam R.

Yelp
absolutely worst pizza and calzone in the state of FL. Wish I would have made a frozen pizza then eat this tasteless garbage.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
Definitely walked in on one of their busiest times. We waited for a bit for a table but it was accommodating. We decided to stick with a couple of appetizers and a pizza pie. We got meatballs with the ricotta and it was nicely cooked and good combo! My favorite was the chicken parm garlic knots! It's one large garlic knot that can be split between people for a small app. The pizza was a little dry but having the ricotta and sauces from other dishes complimented the slices. Jamie was such a great waitress. She was really working hard to get everyone situated and fed while keeping her composure. It was a busy moment and she handled it very well. I appreciate her service!

Yelp
Large pie- half vodka margherita, half grandma margherita. Very good, liked the crust and surprisingly not greasy. Didn't think I'd be a big fan of the vodka pizza, but liked it even better than the other half. ~$5 charge to do a 50/50 pie, so total was around $34 before tip. Walked out with the pie 15 minutes after ordering on a Sunday afternoon. They said specialty slices are around $5.

Yelp
I will say if you want an authentic NY experience concerning the vibe and aesthetics, then this is the place. Service was not great. Friendly staff but not great service. The place is small. Maybe 6-7 tables. Tables not very clean. Service very slow. We had half and half pie. One side cheese- not very good. The other side, pepperoni with a spread of pesto sauce across it. That side was actually very good. Meatball sandwich- tender and tasty. I think everyone should give it a shot but we won't be back.
