Dough Girls Pizza

Stopped here while vacationing in the area. I wish there was a pizza place this good where I live! Best pizza I've had in years 👌 Their toppings are generous but don't go out to the edge as far as you would expect. I think this is on purpose though, to give you a big chunk of their delicious crust all the way around the edge. Crust was amazing. We got chicken bacon ranch, Hawaiian, and cheese. All 10/10. Great atmosphere to boot, and a really nice, if rustic, outdoor patio area where we ate. Staff were also very friendly.

Would give it six stars if possible. This incredible spot is a destination for pizza lovers. Their crust was phenomenal and the toppings well thought out. Wish we could have tried more options but the three pies fed two families with left overs. Will be back!

This local pizza joint is a hidden gem. Great service and atmosphere. They sell 1919 Root Beer on draft and in the can. High quality, delicious, and made with real sugar. Their ice cream is a great way to finish off your meal after having some filling pizza.

Visiting the area from Pittsburgh and like to try local spots. This place did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly. The maple rolls were 5 bucks and huge and delicious! We tried the pizza and the wings. The garlic and the sweet and warm. Kinda had a teriyaki vibe to them. Very good. Pizza was delicious. 30 bucks for everything. Not bad.

My wife, son and me just left there. I had a great Italian Stromboli. My wife had a Italian wedge and she said it was really good and our son had a small pizza and he really liked it. We brought our leftovers home for supper tomorrow. Service was great, very friendly. Then we got some homemade baked goodies to bring home with us for desert. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful! Stopped by Dough Girls Pizza on a trip back from Pittsburgh. The prices are amazing for the tasty food. Got 1/2 a dozen mac and cheese bites, Buffalo fries, and 4 small pizzas all for under $40. It felt like robbery on our part for getting so much quality food for such small price. Cute atmosphere inside and great service.

We stayed at Seven Springs Ski Resort over MLK weekend, and wanted to grab food outside the resort one night. Yelp and Google both seemed to agree that Dough Girls is the best place for pizza in the vicinity, so I ordered ahead and drove over to pick up our food. Figuring out what to order was a bit difficult, because they don't have a website. They do have a Facebook page, but it doesn't have a menu posted. So I ordered based off of a menu someone had posted onto Google like 4 years ago. Fortunately that menu was still pretty accurate, except the prices had gone up across the board. The girls at the pickup counter was very nice, and my food was ready at the time I was quoted over the phone. They do have seating for dine-in as well, but it's very limited. 2 booths, one circular table, and a small bar. Another caveat is that they close relatively early on Sundays... 7pm I believe. We ordered their Buffalo wings, pepperoni pizza, salad, and mozzarella sticks. The Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks were excellent. The pizza was tasty too, but their pizza sauce was sweeter than I personally prefer. Other pizza places in the area also have reviews saying their sauce is too sweet, so maybe sweet pizza sauce is an western Pennsylvania thing? The only miss for us was the salad-- too many of the iceberg lettuce pieces were turning brown. While it wasn't perfect, Dough Girls supplied my family with a filling dinner after a long day of skiing. We would definitely try them again during our next trip to Seven Springs!

Order a Italian Hoagie Toasted to perfection with fresh lettuce and tomatoes with 3 meats. With provolone cheese...Fantastic Homemade Hoagie!!! Also My wife ordered a Wedgies Ham and Cheese with Lettuce and Tomatoes...... also was Fantastic! Wife and shared Sweet and Warm Wings and the sauce was outstanding and wings were delicious.. Over by the Door they have fresh Baked Gobs... they are huge.... The prices are Reasonable and the Quality of their food made our bellies happy...

Food was hot and delicious. Had pizza, zucchini and wings. Good find. Service was a bit slow.

We ordered the chicken bacon ranch, and classic white pizza. We also had zucchini planks. Everything was great. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

In an adorable, small town south of 7 Springs Ski resort there's a perfect little pizza parlor! Called in order for their Supreme Pizza. Pilled high with all offff thheeee meats and toppings, the generosity was complemented by the fluffy crust and mildly spiced red sauce. Service was fast and friendly and we were extremely satisfied with our pizza. Nice find and well worth the trip for those visiting falling water or any of the ski slopes in the area!

Visited today after riding on the GAP. From the outside, wasn't too sure how the experience would be since parking seemed sketchy, HOWEVER, we discovered there was additional parking out back. Restaurant has the appearance of a remodeled old bar but comfortable and staff was friendly and service was great. Pizza and hoagies are delicious! You can tell the dough is made fresh. Prices were average for a pizza/sub place. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone traveling through

Pizza tasted great. Would definitely come back. Close to Seven Springs ski resort and a good place to get some nice pizza. 8/10 Parking is right next to the restaurant in a gravel lot. No soots, just pick a spot.

Great little pizza shop! The food here is amazing. The pizza crust is just thin enough to not be doughy but thick enough to not be soggy. In my opinion the medium or small pizza has the best dough and therefore the best flavor and texture. I'm sure it's the same dough for all pizza's but for some reason the dough on the large comes out much thicker and therefor just taste different. It's still not bad, just not as good IMO. The sauce seems to have a good amount of spices and not just Ragu dumped out on to some bread like some other "pizza" places in the area. My only concern (not complaint) is that they may add a bit too much cheese for some people's liking. I don't have a problem with it but others want just the right amount. There is an ice cream shop in the same building which is a perfect after dinner treat and it is not overpriced. There is also a few bakery treats located in the restaurant my personal favorite is the thick and heavy brownies. They have the perfect amount of salt to bring out the flavors of the chocolate brownie and chocolate chunks with out the chocolate being to rich and sweet. It is a perfect balanced brownie.

I was looking for a small town pizza/sandwich shop to grab some dinner from on my way home from biking on the trail. I found this pizza place just by a simple google search. I called, probably 20 times with a busy signal or no answer and was pretty much giving up at that point. 5 minutes later I tried one more time and got through. Italian Stromboli's and Pizza was amazing!! 5 stars on the sauce.....so good!! The girl at the register was helpful and kind. The interior of this place is adorable, very rustic ~ country ~ clean and new. I am from the area and am embarrassed I have never tried Dough Girls Pizza before. I will be back on a regular basis and recommend them to others.

I'm torn. I want to give more stars but 2/2 visits had issues. First time I think they forgot to put our pizza order in and we waited over an hour from order time to when we actually got it, then it was less than hot. I had it on my lap in the car, it did not burn. It was sitting somewhere. I asked two times if they forgot to put it in the oven. Only when someone (seemingly a boss) asked what we were waiting on did it miraculously appear. I'm torn because it was a great pizza. It was so good we decided to try again the next weekend as we were camping nearby. This time great service. Pizza was ready !!! But, pizza wasn't as tasty as the week before. I don't know that we will be in the area again for us to do the three stiles thing. Your choices are limited as to food in this area.

Oh yeah!!! This place is great, food is good and eating outside on the porch with your dog makes it even better. We camp in the area during summer season, and one of the highlights of heading back to the highlands for the weekend is stopping here! Try the sweet heat pizza... have not had anything like it, very good!

We have eaten here twice. Their red-sauce pizza is excellent. The first time we stopped here we also had the white pizza that we thought had too much dill on it. We also had the fried zucchini which we enjoyed. The service is pretty good but, since they do a lot of take-out, they can get overwhelmed. They have my vote for the best red-sauce pizza in the Somerset/Seven Springs area.

Discovered this pizza place while camping in Forbes State Forest, and I'm pretty glad we did. We settled for a plain cheese pizza, as I like to do with new places I try, and it was a pretty decent pizza. The dough was fluffy, the sauce a tiny bit sweet, the cheese in right proportions, however the pizza was a little underdone, but left overs were heated over open campfire and they were perfect. I think this place would have been a 5 star pizza if they would have kept it cooking a little longer, and the staff was more friendly.

Placed an order for a steak and cheese pizza and a Italian Stromboli. I also picked up a pack of cookies and rolls. The cookies and rolls are fantastic. The steak and cheese was pretty good. The Stromboli however could have used some attention. The bottom was still soggy and doughy. Not sure if that was from the massive amount of vegys or just wasn't cooked as long. Tossed the Stromboli and enjoyed the pizza. In the end order the pizzas and the sweets. Strombolis need work.

Awesome! Delicious! Worth the drive off the Turnpike at Somerset, a great break from a long road trip. Great service, FABULOUS food. Will definitely make this my new pitstop when traveling the PA Turnpike.

We got pizza from here while staying at the Seven Springs Ski resort and it was worth the 15 minute drive!! We called in the order, but when we got there, we had to add some of their delicious maple cinnamon rolls for the next morning! The food was great and the people were friendly! Definitely recommend them.

The root beer on tap was great and the Philly Strom was good. The mozzarella sticks weren't the greatest. The guy I went with also said the fries were stale. But I'd recommend going at least for the root beer.

Very good pizza, and I usually avoid the stuff because of how picky I am. It's super small inside so go for takeout. Their cupcakes are also amazing!

We order take out from here all the time! It's extremely consistent. Anything you order is great and super fresh. Extremely professional. We will continue getting take out from here for years to come. Thanks Dough Girls!

Decided to give them another chance last weekend. Ordered a pizza they told me to be 30 to 35 minutes I got there in 25 minutes and the pizza was already cold two minutes later when I got back home. Poor timing. Plus the girl that rang me out while she was not at all personable. She gave me 89 cents in all pennies and nickels. She said we don't have any quarters. No thank you no have a nice night nothing. Really kind of rude. I said thank you. Then the young man who came out of the box said have a nice night. I am glad some of their staff had parents to teach him right because apparently the management doesn't tell them to be friendly.

Awesome pizza and great service! Nice mom and pop feel. The staff was incredibly friendly! Definitely recommend!

Great place to pick up pizza in the laurel highlands. Numerous times we have had an active day and called for pick up. We never had issues with our order and it was always ready when we arrived. My family and I high recommend, if you are passing through the area or a local!
