Everything was very good. I do believe that they should invest in a coffee machine where they could have espresso and latte because it’ll bring a fine finish to the place. Aside from that Janet, the employee at the register was fantastic and was super patient accommodating, and a pleasant face to represent the business…… Sunday funday coffee stop the prices are great and I highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice chic place

Such a cute breakfast spot! They have lots of sandwich options and I’ve been meaning to try the horchata latte. Update: I came back a week later and ordered the horchata cold brew and a ham/egg/cheese croissant. My sons got a donut with cereal flakes on top

Dough in the Box not only has fantastic donuts, but a fantastic experience that you will love. Every time I've ever been to DITB, which is many at this point, I'm always met by a smiling and kind staff that assists me in selecting the best, bakery fresh donuts, and quickly puts together my order. Their shop has that old timey donut shop / café feel, and the donuts themselves are absolutely phenomenal. You cannot go wrong with Dough in the Box!!!!

We love Dough in the Box. But, the construction in front of the one in downtown Austell is taking a long time. Parking is difficult and it is difficult to know if they are open.

Such a great place. Conveniently located in the city of Austell. Staff is always nice the place is clean and the environment is very comfortable and welcoming. Then the displays are just great. And the food tastes great every item!

Hard to spot because of all the construction going on but staff is super friendly!! They have great coffee and delicious treats!!

Noticed this on a Yelp official list of Americas 50 best doughnuts and because it is only about 10 min away we took a Sunday morning date. We got 6 total for takeout. A combo of unique items & good old standbys. They were all really good but the Boston cream & red velvet were our favorites. If the actual flavor of the doughnuts matter to you (aside from frosting ur any extras) then you will appreciate this place. They also threw in a few doughnut holes as a surprise when we opened our box at home Also the staff who were all young (looked to be high school maybe) were really nice and knowledgeable. The type of establishment where they will ma'am & sir you (if you like that kind of thing) I'm not sure I think it's one of the best doughnuts I've ever eaten but it's a far cry better than the national big chains locations beer us so we will be back to try more flavors.

The donut I had was amazing but I don't even know the name of it as it was in the wrong spot. Service was great. Store was empty but clean. Sad to see most of their donuts were sold out from the morning.

I recently came into your store because I woke up wanting dough but like without the middle part of it. I saw that you guys had a Nutella doughnut and omg I almost exploded, 10/10. As well as a red velvet cake, that one was giving a cake that was turned into a doughnut, 8/10 . I got a Boston cream doughnut but it seemed more like a Boston partially filled cream doughnut. But overall it was a good doughnut, 9/10. Experience and service 10/10

Donuts are so fresh-the Bagels are my new favorite. Had some Jamaica Mii Crazy Java & it was sooo good. The ladies are so sweet. They provide amazing service and the it's a nice cozy spot downtown Austell.

Donuts are good. Didn't get the chance to try the coffee because they are all made with whole milk.

Donuts and bagels are always fresh and customer service is on point. I like their donuts better than Dunkin. This is also one of their nicest locations.

They need a sign or more lights. I can never tell when they are open. The breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts are wonderful.

I'm not from here and I do not like Krispy Kreme donuts. These donuts are definitely good and the lady threw in a few donut holes. Convenient parking in the back and early hours. I'm done with DD.

Had an opportunity to finally go to Dough in the Box! When I entered I was greeted by an amazing staff that was working hard to get the customers in and out. On this visit I ordered doughnuts and the Jamaica Me Crazy coffee. I wanted to make sure I got some doughnuts for my husband to try. They had a huge variety of doughnuts, pastries and drink options. Oh yeah and BAGELS!! OMG! On top of ordering doughnuts for later, I ordered a jalapeno Asiago bagel with cream cheese($2.95)! The bomb, I have fallen in love with this bagel. So, I ordered a half a dozen of doughnuts($5.75) and one of the doughnuts(Cronut)was a specialty which was an additional .50 cent which was cool. It was a combination between a doughnut and a croissant. Really good. I have been back twice and will be going back again. Thank Dough in the Box.

Ordered via Uber eats and they sent me the incorrect donuts smh. Clearly these are not cake donuts and the Nutella donuts has no Nutella smh. To top it off Uber eats refused to refund me my money smh. Won't be ordering from here again

I love doughnuts! I always look forward to trying a new doughnut shop and was super excited when I pulled into this plaza in Austell and drove past this retro looking donut shop. Dough in the Box currently has two locations, one in Marietta and another in Austell. This is a family business and according to their website, Dough in the Box makes authentic American Donuts, California style (light and not too sweet) with different icings from a perfect glaze to a not so simple minded Italian Cannoli filled Donut!  My opinion- The doughnuts are old school and perfect! They're so soft and cake like but not too sweet, it takes me back to the doughnut shops from my childhood. The prices are also very affordable, it's oldschool prices. You can get 1/2 dozen for $5.50. I know crazy, $5.50 for 6 doughnuts and they're better than any gourmet shop. The shop is very clean and the employees are extremely friendly and very helpful. The also have a cooler with paletas heladas in all flavors. Love it!!! I will definitely be back very soon.

Food is great! I've been to this location and ordered on Uber Eats. My hot sandwiches are always made to order (always warm to eat) and the donuts options are insane.

I've been wanting to visit Dough in the Box for a minute, so imagine my delight when I realized there was one down the street from my job. Pros: Great customer service, they open at 5am (for the early birds), good selection of classic & special donuts (exs: bacon & maple and red velvet). They offer a wide variety of breakfast foods & cold/hot beverages as well. Plus, they have a points system that can get you a free coffee for 10 pts or discounts for more. Cons: a lil bit of a doozy to get to, because you can't make that 1st left after you drive past the shop on your left; so just something to keep in mind depending on which direction you're coming from. I went about 30 minutes before closing time (3pm), so it wasn't packed. Enjoy!

Very disappointed. Ordered donut and other items for delivery and I was super excited to try them for the first time after reading reviews and seeing pictures. The size of the donut was very disappointing. Will try the location closer to me next time. Accidentally selected this one on the app. Hopefully there's are Atleast normal sized donuts. All the pictures I've seen everyone's donuts look so big and pretty.

Yay, we finally get a good doughnut shop in the area! I mean, who doesn't love a good doughnut? This place definitely had some good doughnuts. I went on a Saturday around 11am. There were quite a few people inside. There is some inside seating. There are also a few tables outside on a small patio. I got the half dozen doughnut box. It was so hard to pick. I got an Oreo crumb, Red Velvet with cream cheese icing, guava and cream cheese, strawberry filled, Nutella filled, and chocolate sour cream. They also threw in a handful of donut holes with my order. I've now eaten the entire box by myself. Every single doughnut was delicious. If I had to pick a favorite I'd probably pick the Nutella because they do not skimp on the filling and I love Nutella. This is a great addition to the area and I will definitely be back.

First of all these are not kolaches they are pigs in a blanket it a chewy mushy dough. The donuts were bad as wells I've had a better honey bun out of a package. Just don't!

Just don't come if you are in a rush and you need a breakfast sandwich. FOR-EEEEEVVVVEEERRRRRR. Customer service is otherwise great and the food is delicious. I'll be back. But only when I have nowhere else to go.

Awesome place. If you would like to have a sit down with some delicious coffee and just watch the Trains go by (yes, I said trains) - this is the place. Doughnuts, bread, croissants, fritters....all made from scratch, no preservatives, good loving servings. They (Ms. Dania and her Husband) will treat you like close friends, and that made a big difference. The place is a vintage work of architectural art - restored by hand by these two fantastic doughnut chefs! They also have take out!! I'll be back to smell the roses, and the fresh doughnuts and coffee!!!

What can you say about Dough In The Box. Another great location serving up the best food and customer service. I'm so happy to see them expanding throughout metro Atlanta. As usual, I get their doughnuts, a breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino to top it off. All delicious!

Winning! The service was warm and welcoming. I had the egg and cheese croissant which was super yummy! Then we ordered a half dozen of donuts thinking we would eat three and take three home. Well, that was a fail! We finished all of them and wanted more. We are fans and we will be back soon and often. Also telling friends!

I came in to use a Groupon and I was impressed. A great selection and extremely helpful staff. At 9am there was still a good selection, but as with any good donut place, the earlier the better. Donuts were delicious, we will be back!

Their food is fine but NEVER work for them. They treat their employees poorly and never listen to what they need to say. Had a homeless man stalk me all the way and they didn't care. They also demand workers pay for their food when they literally work there. Got pushed and my arm scratched cause the owner body slammed herself into me to stop me from not pushing the customers to sign up for their rewards program. They accuse workers of stealing money and tell them to up sale everyone. It was a dream job. The owners made it a nightmare.

This location is close but the donuts aren't good. I prefer the Austell rd location. I got an pole fritter and it was tough and flavorless! First flavorless apple fritter I've ever had and we won't be returning to this location

i've been buying cronuts from a company called Goldbelly. Cronut's come from New York and originated from New York. My best friend went to Dough in the box and told me she saw cronuts on the menu. I called them and had them to put aside nine for me because I've been paying $89 for cronut's from New York. I was very excited to learn that cronuts were here in Georgia Because I have searched all over. I drove one hour to Dough in the box and was sadly disappointed to know that they didn't have cronuts, they were selling croissants fried and sweetened. If you ever had a cronut you would know the difference between a croissant and a cronut. Customer service was excellent the restaurant was clean everyone was friendly and nice. I was very impressed with the way they ran this bakery, on the other hand I was disappointed that they were passing off croissants for cronuts. If I am ever in the area again I would be happy to stop by and grab a few donuts but I would never grab any of those croissants ever again.

Yummy food here including the breakfast sandwiches. I've been here about five times now and they don't seem to ever fall short...unless you get a doughnut hole or two that isn't cooked all the way through like I do but I digress. The cronut is life changing. They should implement CRONUT in the name somewhere just because it's the clear Diana Ross of the other features here. Staff is always very warm as well. I love any place that accepts Apple Pay so I'm not fumbling around with cards so that's another plus of this lovely place.

The apple fritter & cronut are reason enough to eat here. I was visiting a friend and we came in one morning and came back the next morning. We ordered a cuban sandwich - mind-blowing - and a T-rex (basically all breakfast meats on a sandwich) - also mind-blowing - as well as an inordinate amount of donuts. Your needs will be met whether you're a sweet or a savory food aficionado.

I hurt my back and was off of work for an entire week. I obviously couldn't cook, so Uber Eats became my best friend. I found Dough In The Box on the app and legit have been addicted since. Thank you!

Omg love this place they have the best Donut's.. They have a good amount to choose from Maple top, sprinkles ,chocolate glaze some Maple topped with bacon,Nutella filled.. They come in either 6 or 12 packs at a great price ...Nice employees clean environment A must stop in. We will definitely be back...

Delicious! Not only amazing donuts, but also the BEST pumpkin spice drink I've had so far this fall. Nice atmosphere in a historic Austell building. Just a great place.

Sausage egg and cheese croissant which, always always delicious, it comes fresh, great rapping and always hot.

Sometimes eateries don't need food reviews because the expectations of items are met via the simplicity...such as doughnuts. That's just one of those foods that's hard to mess up, so I'll just say the food was tasty, the coffee delicious (mostly because it was fresh as opposed to the typical *been sitting awhile* burned stuff one gets in a lot of restaurants). So why bother to review and why 5-stars you ask??? SERVICE is the answer of course. I will be back and often. Eric, my Server, was such a beautiful human being. So inviting and friendly, ready to help and ensure my stay was what it should be, and truly concerned that the food and environment would meet or exceed expectations. The Owner should definitely keep him! The little shop is cozy and clean. I brought in my work, had a few coffees and eats, chatted with the locals, and left very relaxed and ready to face the day.

I went ti this place and OMG the doughnuts are FRESH AND DELICIOUS!! The old fashion chocolate covered doughnuts were soooo good. I recommend this place. I will return!! I wish there was a closer location.

So freaking delicious is all I can say!! This is a must visit kind of place. The staff is great and since it's not a basic chain donut place, that's what makes it even better!

First time visiting and I'm not sure if I will visit again. We tend to visit the donut places that aren't huge franchises, so we were hoping for a fresh tasting donut and a new spot to frequent. My husband who think he's a donut connoisseur was very disappointed in the taste of the donuts, as was I. We were given 3 holes, with our purchase of a crumbcake, nutella filled, and apple fritter. The holes were dense and my husband said they tasted old to him. I agreed. Overall the donuts weren't anything special, but the best tasting one was the crumbcake. It didn't taste like a 2 day old donut. I guess for me we are used to donuts that don't taste dense and still have a lightness to them. Also a fresher tasting donut. The two stars are for the crumbcake and customer service.

This place has the best donuts I've had. You could liken the style to Dunkin', so don't go in wanting KK. I highly recommend the vanilla cream filled with chocolate icing. Honestly, the straight up glazed are just awesome. Baked fresh and I've never had a bad experience.

I was expecting a fast food feel like you get with other doughnut shops. I was pleasantly surprised to bring my kids into an atmosphere that was relaxed and welcoming. More than just doughnuts! They had a variety of beverages and breakfast sandwiches. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even checked on us after we sat down. Very family friendly! The best part... the doughnuts! I highly suggest chocolate icing with coconut, blueberry fritter and wash it down with one of their cappuccinos.

These donuts are homemade-tasting and very fresh upon being purchased. I enjoy these donuts and they are the best thing you can find locally that are home made besides Publix. I'm not a huge donut fan but these are light and buttery and fresh wherever you order them. I recommend you to try an assortment of these whenever you see this shop!!!

So I have to say I actually don't like donuts all that much. I love Boston cream donuts because they remind me of a eclairs but other than that I am not really a doughnut fan. Taking that into consideration when I tell you that dough in the box has the most amazing and unique donut flavors I've ever had you should know that I mean it! Everything I have ever tried here is just amazing, delicious, and very unique. I can't say enough good things about this place. The lady who works at the front most of the time is very nice she always greets you as soon as you come in! I love her bubbly personality! I had coffee there early Friday morning and it was very good also. So far I have tried the Nutella donut several times, chocolate cake donut with peanuts, peanut butter cream donut which was a special before school started-it was OUT OF THIS WORLD good but I have to wait a whole year to have another one unfortunately. They have a churro donut right now that was yummy also. I can't wait to try the blueberry fritter but I can only buy so many donuts each visit since they're all going to be eaten by me. LOL If you're ever in the area you definitely should check this place out. They open at 5 AM if you're like me and have insomnia it's a great early morning snack!

We love this place. The donuts are light and airy. The flavors are amazing and eclectic, ranging from blueberry crumble, maple bacon, strawberry danish cream cheese to their version of a cronut. Go early in the day or you'll miss out they sell out of everything.

I kept hearing rave reviews of how great their doughnuts are. Finally got to go and not very impressed. No one and I mean no one touches Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts.

It seems someone deleted my review on google. My coworkers and I visit the donut shop at least 3 times a week for coffee and donuts. Everything run smoothly when there is the baker and short haired young girl. Lately it's almost a mission to be served and leave quickly because owner is always trying to make conversations and pushing some kind of reward program. This holds up the line. Customers are getting anxious the closer we get to the cash register because this lady keeps trying to make conversations and not allowing the staff to do their jobs as usual. It's so bad we considering going to DD next time we see the owner in the donut shop. Me, as many other customers, come for donut and coffee and not to be held hostage in a meaningless conversation at 7am. I wish I could give them 5 stars because they deserve it. Maybe the owner should leave the customers alone with the rest of the staff and find something else to do away from us.

Say goodbye to Dunkin Donuts and say hello to made from scratch.... Dough In The Box Donuts. I had the Jamaica Me Crazy coffee and cronut this morning and hmmmm hmmmm good. The cronut was delicious and my coffee was freshly made. The customer service was also very good, he greeted us as soon as we walked in and made us feel welcomed. I sat by the window and watched the train roll on by.... while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee and delicious Cronut. Yummy....

You're not Krispy Kreme, but a very close second! You have many choices of sweets and all are delicious.
