The 16 Best Pizza Spots In Dallas - Dallas - The Infatuation

"Nobody will ever call Plano the Puglia of Texas, but Dough is serving the kind of food and wines you’ll find in Southern Italy. We’re talking Neapolitan pizzas, housemade burrata, and Italian varietals like falanghina and primitivo. The wood-burning oven and white tiled bar set the scene for a chill weeknight dinner or casual date, where you can share that aforementioned burrata and the Italian wedge salad before digging into the aptly named Pork Love pizza. It’s topped with four kinds of pork (housemade sausage, speck, soppressata, and pancetta), and the rich and salty meat is offset by bright San Marzano tomato sauce and fresh fior di latte cheese." - kevin gray

Delicious and friendly place! Lucas was our server and he was amazing! It was our first time eating there and he was very helpful. It’s great for kids too if you don’t want them using electronics. They provide them with dough to play with while they wait. A definite must try!

We went to try out Dough for the first time and had a great experience! We tried the Burrata al Tartufo, it was gooey, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented (just like in the photo). The Mista salad was incredibly fresh, colorful and flavorful. Honestly, one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Of course, we had to try the pizza. The crust was easily in my top 3. Just a tip: let the pizza cool for a minute before pulling a slice, or the cheese will slide right off. They also had a seasonal prickly pear & watermelon margarita that was super refreshing. The overall vibe was great. If you sit inside, you can watch the crew making and prepping everything fresh, which really adds to the experience. That said, it was on the pricier side, so next time we’ll try to come during their Social Hour (Happy Hour), which runs Monday–Friday from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at both locations. During that time, they offer deals like $8 signature cocktails, $5 draft beer, $6 street wine, and $10 flatbread pizzas. Definitely recommend making a reservation online or calling about an hour in advance. There’s usually a wait, but it’s worth it!

This place was darn good! The dough is perfect. 🤌 Cat the manager was super pleasant and even gave us her card for next time we are in San Antonio. A heavy percentage of the food was cooked in that Italian oven of course and the food from the oven was definitely the stars of our show tonight. It was a 20 minute drive to get there but we also went there last night. Shows how much we loved it. The chef wasn’t actually there tonight and honestly I could tell the difference and believe me I understand. The seating and acoustics didn’t match the quality of the food. Still amazing.

Had a fantastic experience at The Dough Pizzeria! The food was absolutely delicious — the crust was perfectly crisp, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. Our server, Veronica, was amazing — super attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the meal. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations. Definitely coming back! Here’s some pictures.

Dough Pizza is easily one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s incredibly authentic, though they use a bit more cheese than you’d typically find in Italy—likely to cater to the American palate. That said, the quality is outstanding, and it’s clear they take pride in their ingredients and execution. Beyond the food, the ambiance is fantastic. They’ve done a great job creating an upscale dining experience, making it a perfect spot for date night. The wine selection is excellent, and their cocktail list is well-curated. If you’re into wine, the flight is a must-try—generous pours of four different Italian wines that give you a great sampling. Everything I’ve tried here, from appetizers to pizzas, has been excellent, but what really stands out is their gluten-free pizza. Surprisingly, many of the staff even prefer it in their personal time, and I get why—it has an amazing fluffy texture. I don’t have gluten issues, but I still opt for the gluten-free crust because it’s that good. On top of the great food and drinks, the service is top-notch. One of the wait staff, Beau, is consistently friendly and polished. We’ve formed a great relationship with him, and he always takes excellent care of us. This place has become a weekly tradition for my wife and me, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Google
Pizza was great, thin and after you let it cool down, awesome crispy (East coast/ European) style crust. Fresh toppings really give it a great taste, you definitely get what you pay for here. The beer and wine options are good and the desserts (especially the Gelato) are awesome!

This was an awesome spot to celebrate a new job opportunity! Not overly priced and had a wonderfully cozy atmosphere! We sat at the bar and Emma was so attentive and witty. We were debating on which salad we should try before our meal and she convinced us to try both! We were not disappointed!!! And the drinks were spot on. We had an espresso at the end of the meal, again with the suggestion of Emma stating it would be a perfect after dinner drink, and she was right....AGAIN! we will definitely be back!

Google
Veronica is an amazing server. It was my son’s first visit to dough and he was super impressed. She immediately noticed his Pokémon shirt and easily started the conversation and his eyes lite up. I love when he comes out of his shell! The pizza came within 5 minutes of ordering which was great because we were starving. By far the best pizza in the area.

Yelp
Great food and service. But why add a charge for use of credit card. Will there be a charge for tariffs also? Just raise your prices. Credit card usage is part of doing business.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because the dough was as good as it gets. --- --- --- The name is dough. They offer dough for kids to play with. And their pizza dough is unbelievably great. I'm beginning to see a pattern. We started off with the Burrata and it was among the best I've ever had. It's pricey, but don't come here without ordering this. For pizza, we went with one Amore di Maiale (Pork Love), and one special that had prosciutto jam on it. I'm annoyed I can't remember the name of it, but I liked the special more than the pork love. But if we lived in the area, I would probably come back here and try literally every pizza on the menu because the dough was so unreal. We finished with panna cotta and it was perfect. No notes. Good stuff all around from Dough HQ!

Yelp
A fancy way to kick off August! We decided to check out Dough Pizzeria Napoletana near the San Antonio international airport after hearing all the buzz--especially their feature on Food Network. We were curious to see if the rave reviews and the slightly upscale pricing were truly justified. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was excellent. The hosts at the front were friendly and welcoming, clearly prepared for a busy day with plenty of outdoor seating available. While I personally wouldn't choose to dine outside in the San Antonio heat, it turns out many people don't mind at all--especially since the indoor space is cozy and fills up quickly. The menu is concise yet impressive, printed on a single sheet with carefully curated options. They also had a special insert for seasonal dishes, which was a nice touch and shoes they rotate items regularly. To start, we ordered the Caprese, which came with a perfectly baked flatbread. The house-pulled mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes, and rosemary balsamic red I were all incredibly flavorful. Definitely a highlight. We also tried. The Shrimp and Calamari al Forno, Marinara, Amore di Maiale and the Americana pizzas. Their dough is truly their crown jewel--bake 800 degrees for 90 seconds, resulting in that perfect Neapolitan-style crust: light, chewy, and slightly charred. The ambience was relaxed and inviting, and service stayed attentive even as the restaurant got busier, kudos to our server Lucas. As for the pricing, it's definitely on the higher end--but considering the quality of ingredients, skill in preparation, and the restaurant's reputation, it feels mostly justified. That said, it's probably more of a special occasion spot for us rather than a casual dinner out. All in all, it was a lovely Friday evening dining experience. Dough is a great pick for a more elevated Italian meal.

Yelp
I took my kids to dinner at Dough after a day spent in Hill Country. The weather was beautiful, so we opted to dine al fresco. The comforting jazz music provided a perfect soundtrack to the evening as we watched the sunset during our meal. Isabella provided stellar service and the meal was excellent. Dough has THE BEST gluten free pizza in San Antonio! I don't get pizza often due to my dietary restrictions, so it was a wonderful treat. Not pictured is the tasty small Nonna salad I devoured before the delicious pizzas arrived. I also ordered the Sin & Saint non-alcoholic drink. It reminded me of an elevated fruit punch with a nice, tart finish from the fresh lime juice. My teenage son ordered the raspberry lemonade, which he enjoyed. P.S. If you have room after your meal, I highly recommend the panna cotta and espresso to close out the meal.

Yelp
Amazing experience. Saw where this had good Yelp reviews and decided to try it. Just fabulous. The service was outstanding and the food even better. Brian was very attentive and made our first trip here memorable. A little pricy but was well worth it.

Yelp
Wife's fav place. Got the seasonal lemon barrata, seasonal cantaloupe proscuitto pizza, shrimp&calamari, tiramisu

Yelp
As always, a great visit to our favorite pizza spot in San Antonio. Pizza was spot on and Caprese Salad was superb. The play dough for the kids really adds an extra touch and makes it feel like we are having dinner at Nonna's house! Kudos to Kristin for the awesome service and suggestions!

Yelp
This past Sunday was National Pizza Day. It coincided with my friend, Teri's request to try @doughpizzeriasa on Blanco and 410. It's been a while since I've visited so this was great to celebrate Teri's belated birthday. Teri had the Blood Orange Cosmopolitan and I had the Pear Sour. We shared the Casa House Salad, Americana Pizza, and Tiramisu. Everything was very good from start to finish. Thankful to have a friend like Teri and get to celebrate her.

Yelp
Shout out to the people at this restaurant. Service was excellent. Pizza was on point. Everything was legit restaurant was super clean. Staff was excellent. Everything was good. Recommended for a family get together or reunion. I recommend The margarita pizza meat lovers. Or the sample bread.

Yelp
The service and atmosphere at dough was very nice. It's pricing and service is on the higher end of restaurants, and I felt a little underdressed but there seemed to be no formal dress code. Maybe because it was lunch time. This would be a good spot to have a business meal or to meet with someone. The waiter asked if we wanted sparkling or still water and I opted for sparkling. It gave me the impression it was complimentary / free but our table was charged $6 for it. It's not a huge matter because it's not that costly and you would normally expect to pay for a Soda or Tea, It's just the way it was offered we didn't expect it to be an additional charge. So just for the information of others who may not know. :) Our table ordered the burrata to share, which was delicious. I wish there would have been a little bit more balsamic, but you can't go wrong with such fresh ingredients coming together. I got the lunch combo with a Margherita Pizza and the tiramisu as dessert. The appeal of Dough pizza is that it is fired in a stone pizza oven that was imported from abroad and assembled here in San Antonio. While the pizza's dough was good and as expected, I found that the whole pizza was pretty plain. I've been to other special oven pizza restaurants but they had very strong flavor profiles with lots of herbs. Perhaps it was because I only ordered a Margherita pie, but I just wasn't wowed by the pizza. I don't have the biggest sweet tooth so as far as the tiramisu goes, it was perfect to me. I would come here again on the right occasion. The price point for me makes it more of a special treat but I would like to try a different pizza on their menu.

Yelp
I had a lovely experience with my Family going to Dough Pizzaria Napoletana. It was my first time having lunch there, we all enjoyed the same Misto salad which had the best dressing, and the roasted garlic was perfect. We all also had the Margherita Pizza and it was so very good, cooked in a brick oven. The service was phenomenal and being with my Family made me feel wonderful. I really recommend this restaurant for all occasions, it's beautiful and the service is great and so very clean. Take your friends! Take your Family! Take your Beloved! You will be pleasantly surprised! :)

Yelp
I have been thinking of this restaurant for a while - we finally had time and a reason to drive across town to enjoy my Birthday! When we checked in they didn't have our reservation - I thought this would throw the whole night off, but the hostess made it happen and seated us right away. Our server Dan was awesome - perfect suggestions (we took them all) timing and attention. I am picky, I worked in the restaurant and bar industry for 15years and know what great food should be. Explaining everything from the history of the location and the awesome wood burning pizza ovens imported from Italy! The atmosphere was very Italian - I lived there for a few years. The tables are very close but that helps keep the conversation intimate and personal. I would dine here again - must try the pizza next time

Yelp
Came to have lunch as we were in the area & hubs wanted pizza. Last time we were here was for the Culinaria lunch special. It was a little before 2pm so we were able to get the M-F Lunch special which included your choice of 8" pizzas, a salad or Bruschetta appetizer & dessert(Tiramisu or Gelato). We both chose Spring Green "Casa" salads, Margherita pizzas(since it was Ash Wednesday) & I got the Tiramisu slice & hubs got the Berry Gelato. Salads were cold, nice, had tender Baby Greens with cold, firm colored Cherry Tomatoes lightly dressed with tasty croutons. I'm not a croutons person but these were nicely seasoned & slightly buttery tasting. Julian was our courteous & polite waiter & he informed us that our pizzas weren't fired up yet as he expected but I said it was okay as they bake pretty quickly & he agreed! The crust was slightly burnt on the bottom but I just scraped off the burnt part. Cheese was gooey & tomato sauce was all fresh w/fresh basil leaves. It didn't need anything else but I did try it with hot pepper flakes. I only ate 2 slices so I could have room for dessert. The Tiramisu was cold & refreshing, not heavy on the espresso flavor. The Berry Gelato was a big scoop & refreshing. Will be back again to try the other selections.

Yelp
Very cool pizzeria that verges on a full-bore Italian restaurant. However, you're not going to find some Italian staples like pasta or fried calamari. In fact, you won't find fried anything, as they've cleverly based their menu on whatever goes into their beautiful wood-fired pizza oven. Ambiance is top notch as the inside is designed beautifully, as is the patio. Service is very good, though the wait staff needs to be better trained on the wine list. I found the food to be very good, not great. The roasted version of the calamari and shrimp is nice, but leaves you wanting the 'real thing'. Drinks are good (try the cucumber zero-alcohol cocktail) and the pizza...well, it's tasty and Neapolitan in style. The house-made pepperoni on the 'Americana' is okay but a little tough, and the sausage is surprisingly bland. The Neapolitan style crust is soft and chewy where it should be, though it soaks through easily with the greasier toppings. Average it out, and I'd eagerly come back! This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

Yelp
Great pizzas time and time again! They always have great flavors and offer a seasonal menu which I enjoy so you can have something a little different everytime. Tiramisu is ok but the pizzas keep me coming

Yelp
What a phenomenal experience I had here! Sitting at the bar I had a brilliant conversation with a gentleman from Italy who stated "this is the only place I have pizza that reminds me of home "!! Started with the appetizer of fresh Burratta... with Fresh, yellow tomato and flatbread. Classic pairing phenomenally done. Had their signature margerhita pizza!! The bartender was phenomenal and informative. When I explained to him this is my first time here. The ambience is relaxing and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Our waiter was friendly and attentive to making sure we were enjoying our meals. We started off with the meatballs, and my gosh! These were absolutely divine. The sauce was so good along, and we dipped our pizza crust in it. The meatballs alone were so tender and quite literally melts in your mouth. I don't quite remember what my husband got, but it 3was the pizza that had all the meats. I got the Carbonara pizza and my goodness my 2 favorite Italian dishes in one! Love Carbonara pasta and love pizza, and this was the best of both worlds!
google avatar

Bella G.

Yelp
Dough makes authentic Italian style pizza. Their ovens were imported from Italy so u know it's the real deal. We got the arugula and prosciutto pizza and wow, amazing. The dough was soft and not too crisp. The cheese is made in-house, it's called stracciatella cheese and was stupid good. The arugula was generously spread on top of the pizza and was drizzled with a lemon-truffle vinaigrette... delicious. There was also more than enough prosciutto to go around which I appreciated. This place was great. Everyone who helped us was so so nice. Our waiter, Thomas, was absolutely amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. BIG shoutout to Thomas!!! Thank you! I'll definitely be back ‍
google avatar

Jacquelyn C.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday night and we were able to be seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was great and super helpful with deciding what to eat. I also really enjoyed the ambience of the place. The food itself was alright in my opinion. For appetizers we got the bruschetta and the shrimp and calamari al forno. The bruschetta was good and I loved the roasted garlic pieces that came with it. The shrimp and calamari was also pretty yummy although I prefer a deep fry rather than a breadcrumbed calamari. For entrees we got the Fontina E Salsiccia pizza--yummy, but the portion size was rather small and there was a lot of crust--and the seasonal pasta--also pretty small portion wise and didn't taste much of anything other than tomato sauce.
google avatar

M'kayla D.

Yelp
Ambiance: intimate establishment The servers knew the menu very well and were gracious enough to offer help when needed with selecting an appetizer. I would also like to add they exuded professionalism. As our starter we ordered the Burrata sampler. For our main course w ordered three pizzas (Margherita, Cupping pepperoni, and the Americana) they were all delicious. Be sure to pay them a visit.
google avatar

LaRonda G.

Yelp
I haven't been here since 2013. The atmosphere still has a great vibe and is comfortable for dining. I brought my niece and this was her first time. She really enjoyed the experience and her food. She is picky and doesn't often expand her pallet so I was happy she ate her food. Our waiter was very attentive and made great recommendations. We never had to wait on anything.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Sat on the patio on an incredibly lovely evening with girlfriends!!! Ordered the Burrata appetizer which can be the whole meal!!!! Absolutely fresh, exploding with flavors!!! Garlic bread that comes with it is so fresh, warm and perfect compliment!! Pizza wasn't my favorite, very little mozzarella cheese and only slightly warm. Francesca was an amazing server!!! Attentive and prompt with everything we needed
google avatar

Mark E.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time because we heard all the hype. Service was a bit slow and it wasn't even that busy. Nice atmosphere and welcoming. We ordered our pizza and it was good. The only issue i had was the sauce was a little salty and didn't taste as fresh as it should have. A little pricy so bring your big wallet. I recommend you try it and decide for yourself. I will just say I've had better pizza
google avatar

Keisha R.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and it's always great. The service is always top notch. The inside is designed beautifully. Great, chill patio. The pizza crust is the best. Soft and crispy. The ingredients are always fresh. Just a great place. The $20 3 course lunch menu is a great deal. The mango sorbet is amazing. So smooth and creamy.

Yelp
Dough is Dough no matter the location. Fantastic. We showed up a little after noon on a Saturday afternoon and were seated quickly. Our server got our waters and additional drink orders. She was super nice. We tried a few things. I wasn't in the mood for pizza, so I ordered a seasonal special... the scallops and spaghetti, which was amazing. A small bowl of spaghetti, in a like a light tomato and cheese sauce with mushrooms, and (maybe) baby arugula under well cooked scallops. I thought it was delicious... bad manneredly, did not share. We tried the burratta flight, which came with different burratta, one covered with apple mustardo, another with basil pesto, marinated sun-dried tomatoes, and farm fresh tomatoes, and another also your classic tartufo. The plate was drizzed with balsamic gel. It was awesome and I ate this with the crust of my daughter's pepperoni pizza. Glad I tried something different this visit to this amazing place.
google avatar

Brandi P.

Yelp
This place is so good! We love everything! The homemade burrata is amazing, you have to try it. The bread and crust is so perfectly done. Great desserts!
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
Dropped in for a nice lunch, however ...we had to wait while a table was cleaned off. Then we were finally seated. Waiter dropped by and brought us our drinks and never returned. After 15-20 minutes, we left. End of story and end of lunch!
google avatar

Yelp
First time at the castle hills location was a success! We made a same day reservation and were seated early. Service is always attentive and takes good care of their guests. We enjoyed the house salad and 2 pizzas both of which were always of the highest dough standard quality with the freshest ingredients and an incredible kitchen. Will be back!
google avatar

Monica A.

Yelp
Have been to Dough several times through the years and they never disappoint. They make their pies fresh, also their mozzarella! It's pretty cool to watch them make it :) They have amazing flavor combos for the pizza pies, and some interesting salads. Service is very friendly and they're great at suggesting and answering questions. I like the one by 410, though i believe there's another downtown too. They have an elegant and chill ambiance overall, with great tasty food. They get packed, so be prepared for that..
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
Had a fantastic late lunch off their seasonal menu and so worth it. Tried everything and it was spectacular. Had Dave as a server and he was attentive, friendly and took great care of us.

Bernadette S.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate a birthday. The food is a bit pricey but definitely thought it was worth it. Everything was amazing. I really enjoyed the burratta and the calamari too. Not your typical pizzeria. Restaurant was beautiful and servers were really friendly. All the dishes we ordered were really GOOD.
google avatar

Fernanda S.

Yelp
Tried this little cozy spot for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The burrata was honestly the highlight of what we ordered as it was very well balanced and flavorful. What tied all our meals together was the dough. The part of the pizza that everyone takes for granted. The dough here was exceptional. That being said, the pizza was ok. I appreciated the unique pizza flavors; I got mine with mushrooms and egg. It tasted fine but something was missing and felt rather dry. My husband's margherita seemed quite wet due to the sauce being a bit watery and skimping out on basil. Overall the pizza wasn't bad but it wasn't great after the burrata led the way. Dessert was alright as well. Unfortunately, the hefty price tag for the pizzas wasn't congruent with me yelling from the rooftops to try this place. The ambiance was warm and cozy for a date night and the service was fine. Honestly, just order the burrata and some drinks. If not for the burrata I would have given less stars. It really did steal the show.
google avatar

J. Travis J.

Yelp
Excellent service, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, great place for a date night or to get an authentic pizza for lunch! Our server, Bo, was a delight
google avatar

Redha U.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great vibes. This casual Italian sit down brings the flavor it's most famous for! It's been on tv shows on the food network for those who don't know! We loved the Burrata from here, so beautifully plated and delicious with their yummy flatbread! Pizzas were good too; more artisan compared to lots of the ones I've been to in town. They can be eaten as personal pizzas or shareables depending on how hungry you are! Wooden table and wooden seats on the inside, relaxed patio overlooking the parking lot on the outside. It's not too casual like a chipotle, but also you don't feel out of place if you want to grab a bite after Pilates! I love that it feels welcoming. Will be back!!
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
I love the food here- almost everything I tried. You can tell these are food pros serving up their best. This visit we enjoyed happy hour special flatbreads and olives with a few glasses of wine. Sitting outside in the Fall weather can't be beat.

Yelp
We were searching for a place to eat after having attended a wine tasting at Clementines , found this place to be not to far, looked busy for a Saturday afternoon, but warmly welcomed seated right away order martini and glass of house cab, got the barrita trio , severed with house made bread , wonderful and enjoyed had one of the seasonal pizza featuring butternut squash, wow it was delicious, like I said busy place but everything came in a timely matter our waitress took excellent care of us loved our table next to big front windows will be putting this on our go again place when wanting pizza, felt warm welcomed and think they like severing their dishes and take pride in it
google avatar

Yelp
I want to keep it sweet and to the point... this is the best pizza I've had in awhile! The salad was SO GOOD! I mean, everything was just absolutely delicious. My family and I will be coming back. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere and decor is to die for. Great for a date night! Outside setting available. Give it a try here, if you don't you'll be missing out.
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
The burrata. Yelp is going to encourage me to write more stuff since apparently "I'm rolling now!" But really? The burrata is the best reason to come here. They offer a trio appetizer plate of it that we've tried 3 times, all have been amazing. Since I've made it to "pretty epic!" I will just add that the pizza is great and the best dessert is the panna cotta.

Mercedes V.

Yelp
Highly recommended this place if you are looking for GOOD PIzza. Pizza is amazingly delicious! Services is top tier. Inside dining experience is lovely for a perfect date night. Outside patio is a nice a comfortable atmosphere.
google avatar

Ricardo P.

Yelp
Came here with my wife recently after seeing the DDD episode. We had the full dining experience during lunch a couple of weeks ago. We had the Burrata as an appetizer, which was delicious. The Burrata alone is enough for me to come back. The pizza here was great too. Prices are higher than usual for a pizza joint but totally worth it. The service was good. The ambiance was nice considering it was on a weekend. Overall, will definitely return to try a different type of pizza.
google avatar

Jenn P.

Yelp
Wow! This place is amazing!! We started off with the Chef's Special which is the Burrata Bar. MOZZARELLA di BUFALA Oro Bianco Mozzarella di Bufala, Artisan Sulmaria Culatello, Greenhouse Baby San Marzano Tomatoes, Texas Micro Basil. SOOOOOOO DELISH with the foccacia. Then we had the pizza which was the Formaggio al Tartufo- basically truffle in every ingredient but so light and perfect! I can't wait to come back and try other stuff!!

Yelp
This was my friend and I's first time eating here. I gave it four stars because there weren't many vegan options. Despite this, our server was super helpful and helped me order the vegan version of the Fontina pizza (basically order it w/ no fontina). My friend and I were under the assumption that they could make half the fontina pizza regular, and the other half vegan--they said that wasn't possible. If I could go back in time, I'd order the kid-sized veggie pizza. Overall, I despise onions, mushrooms, and balsamic-anything (3/4 of the main toppings on the Fontina pizza). But by the grace of God, I left Dough with a little less hatred for these ingredients. My pizza was delicious.

Yelp
Dough Pizza Napoletana is an upscale Italian style restaurant featuring house made Mozzarella, locally sourced produce for the freshest ingredients and some of the most impressive pizza combinations anywhere. Service is excellent, the staff can guide you through what they're known for if it's your first time. Our party of three only had to wait a couple minutes to be seated without a reservation. The ambulance is upscale casual not particularly loud but, lively. There is a wide selection of wine and beer to pair with your meal. Our group also ordered the Americana Pizza. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to grab a picture of it because everyone dove into it so quickly. The crust is light, not doughy and very delicious. There is plenty of free parking, no valet. The price point is a bit high, our bill including one glass of Chianti, one Modeli, Pizza and appetizer was $86. Be advised when dining in, there is a 3% Service Charge added to your bill. There is also a second location near the Tower of America downtown which is even more of a dining experience however, parking downtown means it's not free and you may have to walk. The location I went to is on Blanco Rd. Just south of NW Loop 410. I hope this helps and as always, Eat in Good Health.

Yelp
Pizza tasted good and customer service was very friendly. Really impressive that the pizza was ready in 5 minutes. Other reviews did not mention this, but this is a nicer place to go on a date for, not a place to casually pick up food. Not worth the price if you are not dining in imo. Recommended for a nice evening.

Yelp
A little on the pricey side for pizza but very quality ingredients and service. We sat outside and they had ample heating. We got the Margarita Vera and pepperoni pizza. Super tasty

Yelp
This pizza was very fresh tasting and unique. The dough of course was delicious, but the part with the toppings is very thin and flimsy, you have to almost roll up the pizza to keep everything on without sliding off. The service was very kind and accommodating. My only complaint is the price. The pizza is about $18 to $25 after taxes, for 6 slices. The meat one was better than the margarita pizza. The burrata was like around $25 and while we split it among 4 people, I don't think it was worth the price. This is a more upscale pizza restaurant, something you can dress up for.

Yelp
Ate here for Culinaria Restaurant Week event. The lunch prefix menu is such a great value. I had the burrata appetizer, fontina and salsiccia pizza, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was excellent. I ate by myself at the bar. Service was great and helpful with suggestions. Beautiful decor and clean. Love this place.

Yelp
I love Dough. It's my favorite pizza in San Antonio, but I think the downtown location is much better. I like this location because they have some amazing meatballs (not pictured because I couldn't wait), but the pizza is much better at Hemisfair. Service was great, but I don't like how Dough pushes off their credit card fees on their customers. We are already paying inflated prices and then they charge 3% when using a card in an effort to avoid paying the fees themselves.
