Dough Zone Dumpling House Lynnwood

First time thru, New Year's Day, a bit after normal lunchtime. There was a wait for seating, but not too long. Open ceiling design, when busy it reflects a lot of sound. We ordered several items, wanting to get a good breadth of their food. All the items were tasty and well executed. We each had our personal favorites and things we'll order on our next visit (especially the Spicy Beef Pancake Roll). What was really nice is the flavors from sauces and such across the board complimented each other so swapping dishes to try wasn't a major change. The chili oil at the table is subtle and very flavorful. Staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. 100% we'll be returning, this is a winner of a spot

Today was my first time eating at Dough Zone since moving here. The servers were very patient and warmly recommended some of the restaurant’s popular dishes. I ordered the pork soup dumplings and the Dan Dan noodles — both were really delicious. Overall, my first impression of this place is quite good, and I’m looking forward to coming back next time.

Decent spot for tasty dumplings and relative quick service. The waitress was polite and friendly but seemed overworked and frazzled, probably due to understaffing. The food comes out fresh and flavorful, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately half of the menu was wiped out during late hours but that was my fault for coming late, overall a solid place to grab dim sum and noodles but I would recommend visiting the Woodinville location instead.

Food was great! Spicy pancake roll was very delicious! However the service was bad. I’ve seen some Google reviews about this place, few of them mention service here was not great. I can see why. The guy that greeted us and take us to our table seems shy?? He ignored my question. And Our server named A.S. was not very attentive. We have to wave at her to get her attention to order and one time my husband had to stand up and go to her to tell her she put in the wrong order. She took the dish away but she didn’t cancel it on our bill. Fortunately, we doubled check our bill and call it out. And she just simply said “I forgot.”

We came in early afternoon with two couples ahead of us. Once the two benches in the wait area were taken, standing options were limited — we quickly felt like upside-down turtles, either hovering by the greeting desk or blocking the entry/exit path. Not a huge deal, but the space felt awkwardly arranged. When two tables opened at the same time, both our group (of 3) and the group of four behind us were seated immediately, without being asked about seating preference. We were placed at the first table by the entrance. While the other group was seated farther inside with large windows and a much quieter space, we had constant foot traffic passing inches from our faces and backs (weekend noontime is prime time). That table might work better if guests are checked first or given the option to wait a bit longer for a quieter spot. Food quality itself was good and deserves 4⭐. However, the group seated after us received their food noticeably earlier — roughly 5–10 minutes ahead — which stood out. We still left a 20% tip for our waitress’s friendly smile on a ~$60 bill. That said, we didn’t receive an exit greeting from the crew (3–4 staff standing behind the desk), despite noticing almost every other group being thanked as they left (and this wasn’t tip-related, as the receipt hadn’t even been collected yet). This was our first visit. The service didn’t feel terrible — just inconsistent. While the food was strong, the overall experience was affected by service flow and atmosphere, which is why the overall rating lands at 2⭐.

This place deserves higher ratings! Better than any local dumpling place I've tried with better reviews. Great food, decent service, and most of all great price. 4 of us went for dinner and ate till we are FULL and total came out to be only $120 including taxes and tips. I'm leaving the review to raise the rating cause I need this location to stay open

The food was amazing and consistent with the other Dough Zones in the area. I’m not sure why other reviews mention poor service. I thought the service was fine and attentive. Food arrived at the table quickly.

So glad Dough Zone brought their vegetarian items back! The Dan Dan noodles are mouth numbingly delicious! The kale salad with sesame dressing which has a great balance of acidity and nuttiness. I could live off of these two dishes. The veggie pot stickers are subpar, too oily, not as much flavor. Would not recommend. Overall service was quick and friendly. Plenty of parking!

I've been to this location three times now and each visit has gotten worse. I was probably hovering around 3.5 stars at first but at this point I'm willing to drive to one of the other locations. Staff simply doesn't care here. We had a larger party (7-8 people) and joined the waitlist. We eventually hit the top of the waitlist after 15 minutes or so and waited close to an hour before trying to ask for an ETA just so we could make plans. The worker at the front told us "check the waitlist and wait for a host" and dismissed us abruptly. We looked around to find the host, noticed open tables and asked the single worker managing tables. He let us know that we could be seated but would need 30 minutes to order. I guess it's nice he gave that option but we would've loved to get an update while we stood around at the top of the waitlist. Luckily our group was all catching up, so it wasn't a terrible time. The communication, friendliness, and service here leave a bad impression. On the bright side, location is nice and there are plenty of alternative restaurants to visit when the staff don't want you dining in. There's also plenty of parking because of the plaza. Once T&T opens, might be hard to justify trying to dine in here.

Lots of room for improvement. To start, please take into consideration it's hard to not have prior expectations or comparisons with other locations I've visited or with similar [much better] establishments such as Din Tai Fung! So, I do feel 3 stars is quite generous still, considering the following... We had visited two other Dough Zones in Seattle and had pretty good experiences at both. Today we brought my [Chinese] parents who were visiting from CA, and perhaps that, along with our previous positive experiences, resulted in this being quite the negative experience, for numerous reasons. 1. When you arrive, you must wait to be seated by a hostess who just left to seat another party. There are no signs. There is no one else. Do you wait? Minor inconvenience...she did eventually come back to seat us... 2. It took a minute before someone came our way to check on whether we were ready to place our order. The 20-something "server" [also bus boy?] seemed quite indifferent and could have cared less about our choices besides the basic confirming our choices on paper. 3. The first item to come out were the drinks - my husband ordered two cans of Coke, so they assumed it was the two of us who each ordered one and brought us two glasses of ice. We had also ordered the hot jasmine tea so they brought two cups for my parents and assumed it was for them. No biggie. I asked the girl for two hot waters [for my parents] and another tea cup, so I got a weird look from her and then a cursory nod before she went to retrieve those. Since nobody was around or available before this, it's not like we could have explained our drink order to anyone! 4. The first food item to arrive was the green onion pancakes. Thin, greasy, and not as crispy as expected. OK, it was like $4.50 for 6 pieces, so not a big deal. They tasted OK though the ones you get in the freezer section at Trader Joe's taste much better! Then when my mom dropped one of her chopsticks and asked for another pair, it took the server so long to get her another pair [went and rang up another ticket or something?] that my dad just ended up grabbing another pair off an adjacent empty table so she wouldn't have to wait any longer to eat! It was something the server could have easily done! 5. Next came the steamed xiao long bao...the tops of the dough on 6 or 7 seemed undercooked [not transparent & soft] and had crusty flour bits all over. Flour was on the paper liner at the bottom of the basket. We decided to flag the server down and ask him to try again...which he did oblige...only later they brought out another tray that looked pretty similar - these looked like when you undercook frozen store bought dumplings and they are a bit freezer burned and not quite steamed thoroughly so the dough is a little hard and dry... 6. Potstickers were just a tad too thick on the wrapping and everything else we ordered [broccoli, beef noodle soup, chicken sesame noodles...] was not really hot...beef noodle soup should not be made with chunky, crinkly Ramen noodles...We had to ask for the little dishes of ginger to put our dipping sauce in [even though even the chopsticks wrappers showed the "proper way" of eating xiao long bao was to dip them in the dishes of ginger & sauce... and finally, after a mediocre experience of indifferent service and poorly executed dishes... 7. they handed my 84 year old dad the wrong table's check, which he paid without noticing...[adding the 15% gratuity just bc it was the lowest option offered] only to have them come back and tell him they made a mistake, voided the previous transaction, and he had to pay again... I wouldn't normally have been so critical if one or two of the above happened...However, for all 7 to have happened in one visit...just really left our entire party with doubts as to whether or not this Dough Zone location would go out of business soon... Definitely...needs much improvement [ONLY positive thing was that the server -manager?- at the end, though he made the mistake of giving us the wrong tables ticket, did apologize numerous times for it and courteously wished us well on our way. However, it just really did not make up for all the incompetency and indifferent "service" we received from everybody else, from barely being greeted, not being asked about drinks & having incorrect assumptions made, lack of attentiveness or promptness in addressing our needs...

I've dined at Dough Zone's Lynnwood location three times, and each visit has been underwhelming. The minimalist interior feels more like a budget food court than a sit-down restaurant. Bare concrete floors, hard furniture, and no sound dampening make the place uncomfortably loud. The menu is confusing -- no clear entrées or mains -- and I was thankful a server could guide me through it the first time. The flavors were fine but forgettable, and there's a sameness to everything on the table. On my most recent visit, the chaos was obvious. The spicy beef pancake arrived lukewarm, the noodles tasted generic, and my wife's dish took so long that we ended up canceling our last order. Staff rushed around in disarray, rarely checked on tables, and seemed unsure where dishes were supposed to go. It's clear dine-in guests are an afterthought; carryout and delivery seem to take priority. That would explain the delays and disorganization. I had hoped the restaurant would improve, but after three visits, I'm convinced it won't. There are better, friendlier, and quieter places to eat in Beautiful Downtown Lynnwood.

The first time I went here I was blown away at how delicious their food is for such an affordable price! Everything I tried was so delicious and I will be coming back for the banana naan. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice open feel. The last time I went was right after landed from a 10 hour flight and the manager was super sweet, made sure to know we didn't need to rush to finish our food

To start off, my kids who love dumplings said "we don't want to come back." I went with my 3 children, which meant we needed a table of 4. We went on a non-busy weeknight and there was only 2 groups ahead of us. As we continued to wait (on the waitlist) multiple other groups of 2-3 were seated before us. After waiting close to a half-hour with kids, I had to approach a staff member to finally get a table - in the very back where there's plenty of seating options for larger groups, but nobody working there. This got worse. We ordered 8 menu items, and only received 6 of them! The staff completely forgot to bring out 2 items, leaving my kids hungry and getting impatient to when the dessert option would arrive, which they had been really looking forward to, in exchange for the long wait. After talking to three more staff members, they finally made and brought out the remaining items, at 1 hour past the time we had originally ordered the items. There's not a single reason to go back here again after this disrespectful and annoying night out.

This is a newer Dough Zone location and for some reason doesn't seem very popular. I guess the hype has died down greatly since opening a couple of months ago. The interior is a pretty large and modern space, but when we visited for a Thursday dinner, it was so empty that they only needed to open a small section of seats. This particular location has full size menus to peruse instead of having to pull things up via QR code. They still use the very convenient menu sheet to order. Five Spice Beef Shank ($8.35) - Very nicely cooked beef shank, great texture no chewiness and exceptional flavor. They aren't too heavy on the five spice and instead allow the braised soy flavors to really shine. It's thinly sliced so that the connective tissues melt in the mouth rather than giving Q chewiness. (5/5) Pork Xiao Long Bao ($9.95) - Similar to other locations - an okay amount of aspic/soup, flavorful and tender pork filling, decently thin skin that seem to be machine flattened and twisted. Not a top tier XLB by any means, but is good enough to satisfy. (4/5) Pork & Crab Meat Xiao Long Bao ($9.95) - Same as above, but with a balanced seafood taste incorporated. (4/5) Pan Fried Pork Buns ($9.95) - As mentioned in my previous Dough Zone review for the Woodinville location, these seem to be a healthified version of sheng jian bao. Great tasting savory pork filling, a small amount of rendered aspic soup, and a thin baked cracker-like crust rather than a fried crisp and chewy dough. They are pretty good, but they don't scratch the sheng jian bao itch at all. (4/5) Beef Potstickers ($7.30) - This potsticker has a robust, compact beefy filling that resembles a dry meatball. The tenderness isn't there and instead it's a bit on the dense side. There's a perfect cornstarch slurry skirt on the top (bottom while cooking), lending a nice crisp bite to the dish. There are also sweet, lightly pickled cabbage pieces on the side. (3/5) Pork & Shrimp Potstickers ($7.30) - The filling has large pieces of shrimp mixed with the pork with additional chopped vegetables, giving a vegetal yet shrimpy taste. Everyone at my table enjoyed this more than the beef potstickers, purely due to the more tender filling. (4/5) Green Onion Soy Sauce Noodles ($7.90) - These noodles aren't very fragrant at all and seem to be completely missing any allium infusion. There aren't any fried scallions included and instead only a couple of sprigs of julienned scallion grace the top. The sauce has a lot of dark brown coloring, but somehow the flavor is almost bland. The only bright spot - the noodles are cooked perfectly bouncy. (3/5) Yibin Noodles ($7.90) - These noodles, on the other hand, are pretty nice. There's a bold, salty and savory flavor that comes out very well, interspersed with just a little bit of spice. The sauce clings to the noodles and each bite is uniformly flavored. A bunch of crushed peanuts sprinkle the top of the dish as well. Now, I've never actually eaten 燃面 before, but since Yibin is in Sichuan, I assume this dish is should be very spicy and is toned down in spice and mala for the American audience. (4/5) Beef-Stew Noodle Soup ($9.95) - I accidentally ordered this instead of the Beef-Stew Noodles I enjoy from Dough Zone. This version lands more on the 清燉 side vs 红烧. The broth is much lighter with less of a rich, bold, braised herbal taste, but it's also not nearly as clear as a lanzhou-style beef noodle since they add soy sauce. It has decent flavor but I'd eat the Beef-Stew Noodles over this dish any day. The beef is still cooked until very tender and the noodles are just as bouncy as the other noodle dishes. Some pieces of beef I found to be a little soapy tasting though. (3/5) As a side note: the characters they use in the Chinese name they give this dish are kind of bizarre. 牛肉汤面 translates to beef soup noodles, but this is typically a dish that doesn't actually includes pieces of beef. It is literally just beef broth + noodles + maybe some veggies. 牛肉面 (without the character for soup) is the dish that includes beef. At least, that's how it works in Taiwan. I guess this could be attributed to a regional difference? Overall, the food is pretty consistent with other Dough Zone locations. It's a medium-tier kind of place for people looking for consistent food that's average to good. I usually use Dough Zone as a place to take people out to eat who want Chinese food and aren't adventurous eaters. It's just so convenient and quick, and the food is good enough for most people. Bathrooms - Two larger rooms.

Woo hoo! A dough zone nearby! We went for date night last night. We also got a gift card so we sorta splurged on how many dishes we wanted heh. You must try the pork & crab xiao long bao! Good amount of flavors and the interlacing of the crab and pork was excellent! I could eat 3 more rounds of this! We also tried their special, the Chinese crepe. It was alright, my bf said they would serve these for breakfast in Shanghai so how it's made may be different down there. Their steamed broccoli with seafood sauce was excellent. The broccoli itself was just steamed right and the seafood sauce was tasty and good flavor. I loved their beef braised noodle soup! The broth was delicious and on point! However, my bf had the chicken wontons with chicken soup and the broth was quite disappointing...no flavor and watered down. It didn't even taste like chicken :/ The pan fried pork buns were not bad, the five spice beef shank had bold flavor though! It is one of my faves to get on the menu. Lastly we tried their Yibin noodles -- my bf was not very impressed by them. They were okay. Overall, 10/10 for five spice beef shank, beef braised noodle soup and the pork & crab xiao long bao! Everything else was alright. The servers were working tight knit to get things done; from hosting and bringing you to the table, taking your order, bringing your order, paying and then wiping down your table! They worked pretty hard so a round of applause for them! It got pretty crowded towards dinner time so I'm glad we were a little early before the dinner rush!

I am updating my review as they took my suggestions and they now have a physical menu (in the past they only had an online menu which meant that people who are older with vision problems or people with disabilities would struggle to look at the online menu or not even attempt to look at it at all. Also people from other countries who come to the restaurant and don't have data on their phones, also wouldn't be able to look at the menu). They have since changed this and they NOW have a menu to look at and it even has pictures of some of the items (very helpful if for example, you don't know what Xiao Long Bao are by name, but you might recognize that you like the soup dumplings from the photo). They also now have some benches by the front door, so that on busy nights when they have a wait to get a table, you can sit and wait. Nice improvements!!! This time around I had the Dan Dan noodles (always a favorite!) and the Chinese Crepe (off the "specials" menu). Don't forget to sign up for the rewards club so that you accrue points every time you visit, and when you get enough points you can get a free entrée off the menu.

Located on the edge of a shopping center along Route 99, the entrance is from the parking lots (not from the street side). The atmosphere is modern and a little sterile, but ok. The food, as at other Dough Zones, is good. My favorite is the sweet & sour cucumber ... and so pretty too. The staff is attentive and helpful, and you pay at the table, which I like. When I have reason to be in Lynwood, this is a place I'll eat lunch. Not worth a special trip though.

I LOVE DOUGH ZONE! Amazing food & good service! The prices are unbeatable ($75 was enough to feed 4 people), and it's like a Din Tai Fung dupe but BETTER. My favorite items that I tried: Pork Xiao Long Bao: Delicious dumpling with a savory meatball and broth inside! I like how the broth has a slightly thicker consistency than other xiao long baos I've tried. It definitely intensifies the flavor of the dumpling. Green Onion Pancake: I don't usually eat green onion...but THIS PANCAKE... I couldn't stop eating it! It's savory and crispy, and most importantly, not too oily. For the price, they give you so many pieces! I loved it. Spicy Mala Noodles: At first, I was skeptical because I assumed it would be a dry noodle dish based off the menu, but instead, it came with a little bit of broth. I was blown away! I love the numbing tingling spice feeling these noodles gave me! Huge bonus because it comes with veggies! Sweet & Sour Cucumbers: Once again, I don't usually eat cucumbers but they make it SO GOOD here. It's so refreshing and has a nice little kick to it. In my opinion, they make it better than Din Tai Fung!! Lots of parking in the plaza and it's free! Very spacious and clean inside (newly remodeled). Modern decor. I can't wait to go back to Dough Zone the next time I fly back to Seattle!

Finally had the opportunity to check out the newest Dough Zone location in Lynnwood (near 196th in the former Hops & Drops site) on 2/24/25. Dough Zone is the local indie that got its start in Bellevue and now has many locations in the greater Seattle area. It's a great option to Din Tai Fung. And with all the XLB choices from other indie spots, I prefer Dough Zone overall. Pro tips: Get on the Yelp waiting list via your phone or the onsite kiosk. Fill out one of the paper ordering sheets. These two actions will greatly speed up your wait time. Also, join their site to accrue points for future deals and discounts. Despite sharing the shopping retail area with lots of other businesses, the parking is free! Plus the location is accessible via Community Transit along SR99. Staff is efficient, but could use more folks both BOH & FOH to allow them to keep up with the volume. The Homie and I are creatures of habit and order always the same items regardless of what DZ location we're at. Props to them for consistency. Refer to my posted photos, I won't bore you with our lack of shaking it up. We like particular things and stick with it. Happy with this location for northenders versus dealing with parking near University Village or Chinatown-International District, our former DZ go tos.

We ordered take out from Lynnwood Dough Zone last week, and the experience was very different from the first dine in experience. We ordered 3 brothy dishes, chicken wonton, the beef noddles , and the spicy and sour dumplings, all of them, the broth were watered down. It was very obvious because we've eaten in dough zone many many times. This is a terrible practice, no good. I will NOT order take out from them ever again.

So happy that a lot of big chains and great restaurants are coming to Lynnwood. With Dough Zone, we no longer have to travel too far to have some great Xiao Long Baos. We went on a Saturday for dinner and as expected, the place was full and even the waiting area was full with folks on the waitlist. We used their tablet to place ourselves on their YELP waitlist platform. The wait wasn't too long and we were seated with a smile. Service was very friendly, even though it was absolutely clear that everyone was so busy helping all the customers. We went through the usual ordering process using the pen and paper and we started getting our goods! Green onion pancakes and sweet & sour cucumber were our favorites. We are probably going to repeat those next time we visit. Xiao long baos (we got both pork and pork/crab) were good as always. The wontons were great as well. Dan dan noodles dish was our least favorite because it was super salty. We didn't let the staff know as it was a very small portion of things that we ordered. Overall, it was a good meal and we intend to return!

I'm really happy that Dough Zone is open in the area! It's always busy, but we waited only about 15 minutes for a group of 5 on a Friday evening. Note that you need to join the waitlist in person, and no reservations are taken. Everyone in the group needs to be there to get seated. The food quality is on par with other locations, which is great. I absolutely love the noodles, especially the Dan Dan noodles, and the chive pancake is a must-try. The Xiao Long Bao is good, but I personally prefer the ones from Din Tai Fung. Some of the dumpling wrappers tasted like they weren't fully cooked, and the spicy wontons were a bit on the small side. Overall, great service, fast and attentive, and the food comes out quickly. The restaurant is nice and clean. Will definitely be back!

I've been here multiple times but this last visit, it was apparent that something has changed for the worse at this location. The vibe was weird from the start - freezing cold, dark, no music....just odd. Then came the service. Staff was so completely out of it that I questioned if they were h*gh. Forgot to bring out items in our order, talked so quiet or mumbled that I could not hear anything despite the entire restaurant being quiet as a mouse. Food arrived lukewarm with missing items. Just an overall weird experience. If I do eat from this restaurant again it will be takeout.

It's very bright and pleasant inside. Although, it was a hot day and it didn't seem to have air conditioning on. It was pretty warm inside. Some of the tables are really close together, so you are eating close to strangers. We ordered the beef sandwich, beef pancake roll, shrimp and zucchini dumplings and the cold noodles with sesame dressing. We enjoyed everything except the noodles. They seemed a little soggy and the sauce was heavier than we thought it would be. We were seated and ordered quickly. Our food all came at different times which we didn't like, but that kind of seemed like the way they do things. I'm not sure, but I've never experienced that at a restaurant before. Also, it took quite a while to get our bill when we were done.

Food was so mid here. We've been to the Bellevue one and it's much better. Won't be going back to this place soon. Expensive for what it is. The staff also rushed their service to us.

Worst service I have ever experienced. We don't mind the waiting but the crew were treating us shit. We are paying customers and we deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, hence the fact that we waited for an hour. If you guys don't want to work with customers go find another job!

Food is similar in quality to other Dough Zones in that it comes out hot and fresh, and has good flavors. But the wait staff at this location are so uninspired and tired, just dragging their feet around like they'd been up all night. Perhaps it's the location along 99 but I felt like we were intruding on their space. It's too bad because this corner of Lynnwood deserves good restaurants.

I live near here and was not a fan of the previous restaurant in this location. I watched in anticipation for many months waiting for the opening. I can't wait to see how this area changes when the new grocery store opens. I've been a handful of times now and each visit has been great, although I already knew Dough Zone from its many other locations in the area. This one will certainly be the easiest for me to get to and has parking that I can use without stressing. I've learned to love the check in reservation tablet. This makes it seamless when trying to sign up and figuring out when it is your turn to be seated. I like the ordering system where you just mark what you want on a piece of paper and don't have to stress about if the server remembered and got everything down correctly. My current faves are the kale salad with the sesame dressing and the vegetarian spicy ma la noodles. I have not enjoyed the green onion pancake, but seems I am quite picky about these. I look forward to trying many more items here and sharing this with my dining partners. Prices stay reasonable if you don't order too much. I like the rewards program. I am excited to let more people know there is a good new restaurant in the area. Do be aware you may struggle if you are dining with those who are not smart phone savvy as there are no paper menus.

Nice to have a dough zone close by. fast and attentive service, the only thing is that sometimes the waiters give me the wrong check (they usually give me another tables check) so make sure you double check what you order before paying! Don't miss out on the soup dumplings, the Dan Dan noodles, and the q bao

Tried this place for the first time last night and, wow, how disorganized. Didn't mind waiting to be seated at all but once seated, after 30 minutes, the disappointment started. We didn't feel welcome. No one asked if we wanted anything to drink to get started. They served water to the table after ten minutes of being seated. A different table that got seated after us was experiencing better service next to us. The server was proactively asking the table what they wanted to drink as soon as they sat down. That being said, we stayed. They misread tickets and, because of that, the servers had attitude. It felt like they wanted to pick a fight because they kept coming back with the tickets looking to see which of us made a mistake instead of them just moving on. They also would not explain what they were serving and they had zero interest in making sure we all got the correct items. No one asked how was everything. No one checked in on us. We had to asked for water refills, we had to tell them that they were not explaining the food items as it arrived and we even had to asked for the checks. The prices are affordable. The food is average. The service is below mediocrity. First time and never again. This place is not suited for groups or kids.

Food quality needs improvement. Good does not ever seem to come out hot. By observing the waiters, they allow food to sit for a while before bringing it to the table. Friendliness of the staff at the Lynnwood location is poor

Food was good staff had great Customer service. The soup dumplings were delicious as well as the pot stickers and the wonton in chili oil...

First time dining at this location, restaurant is clean. Food is good. Customer Service needs improvement, lots of servers but not attentive. I had to walk up to the counter to give the server our order. Food delivery not consistent, all soup orders should be brought all at same time, we ordered 2 noodle soups only 1 came & the other noodle soup came at end of meal. Despite this delay, soup was not discounted or comped. No one offered glass of water. Seems like some of the servers at this location looked so tired & it's only lunch time and wasn't even that busy. Staff not friendly at this location, at least not to us. Sad dining experience.

Food and service are always on point, but the AC being broken in mid 80s was a big yikes. Was sweating while eating... probably wont come back until that gets fixed. Hate that because I love the noodles and dumplings here!

I went today and the food is fine, and the service is amazing, but the AC needs to be fixed! It's too hot for us as a customer, I can't imagine what the workers have to go through especially the people in the kitchen. :(

The service here sucks! Servers are inattentive and looks like they've all got a hangover from the previous night.

I believe this is a nicer and newer doughzone and we love the convenient location close to the mall. The food was delicious and came out fresh and hot. Our server was super nice and recommended we try mixing the ginger paste with their soy sauce to use as a dipping sauce for the dumplings. We got the vegan and chicken steamed dumplings and their new fried rice. The ambiance felt new and super clean.

Tried Dough Zone in Lynnwood and really enjoyed it. Service was on point--friendly and quick, which made the whole experience smooth. The dumplings were great as expected, but I do wish they had more seafood and veggie options on the menu to mix things up. Overall, still a solid spot and worth coming back to!

Absolute horrible service. Let's start with the fact that I called the restaurant to ask for a reservation at 7:30 for 7 people. The person over the phone says they don't really do reservations but that she'll do it anyway. She wrote my name and time down, and I thanked her. We come around the time promised and Julie is the one communicating with me when we come in. She says we have to sign in to the waitlist because they don't do reservations but that they took our request "into consideration." We didn't get seated till about 8:00 - 8:20 to all get sat together. While we're waiting, we overhear the servers around us saying things like "Where the hell is this party? I'm just gonna fucking cancel their waitlist slot." about others. We ended up having one extra person for the table due to a part of our party not communicating with the rest of us. Already, we're all feeling the frustration of the staff around us while trying to have shame and decorum about the situation. What we saw during the meal was a lot of miscommunication within the team, rude side conversation, looks, unprofessional attitude that was very unnecessary. I've never experienced all that from this location. Lastly, they forgot items or didn't get our orders right. They would be frustrated with us instead of apologizing when we would try to amend it. We would just let go of the forgotten items because we didn't want to have to stay any longer than we were.

LOVE DOUGH ZONE, obviously not as good din tai fung. But we love dough zone for different reasons. This specific location took a while to take our order. I had to get up and give my order slip to a server who wasn't even in charge of our table. I asked for extra cream in my thai iced tea and I was told they don't customize as their drinks are premade. Honestly, I've had better thai iced tea. Not impressed. We got soup dumplings. They were good but get soggy at the bottom quick. The beef noodle soup was good according to my daughter but the spicy ma la noodles were disgusting. The after taste is gross. Won't order those again! 7/10

We love dough zone in bellevue so we were really excited to try this location. I think that as it is still very new, it is working out the kinks. The service was slow, the food was mediocre, and we went at a very unbusy time. I will have to get it another shot at a later time when hopefully they have more experience.

The food and service was great! I did have to bring a small fan from in my car because it was a little warm, I can't imagine the workers who have to do it all day, so I would consider bringing your own fan or hopefully the management fixes the ac soon, otherwise the experience was great!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, did not have to wait for seating. Ordered the passion fruit GT, soup dumplings, another dumpling (forgot name), dan dan noodles, cucumbers, and got pan fried dumplings to go. All very delicious. So happy we have one in Lynnwood!!

I got seated immediately. Staff was attentive. I had an issue with the sauce for the broccoli. It was resolved immediately. I got the iceberg lettuce, broccoli, and dan dan noodles. Downed it with a personal carafe of Oolong tea. After that, I was ready to knock out the rest of my errands. I've had their dumplings at other locations further from my home. I'll be back for those at this location.

Service took forever, we ordered around 4pm and by 450 only one item was out, a soggy order of xiao long bao that was probably in the steamer for the past 20 min before we arrived. Not even a cucumber salad which takes minimal effort and is NOT even COOKED. Left after the one hour mark... they said our food was ready, but I said "if it's ready where is it I don't see it on my table." They were short staffed but for Christ's sake let people know ahead so WE decide whether or not to stay. Instead of being gas lit about how everything is "on the way" three different instances when asked. Two kitchen staff "only". Please that means they are just poorly trained if they can't pump out food for 4 tables. Dough Zone Lynnwood gets a fat "F" today for service and quality. Alternatively the to go counter kept filling up with food and no pick ups so I'm sure it's more that they focus on to go rather than their sit down patrons, hence reviews like this will happen. Can't neglect your face-front customers my guy, or it's business suicide.

Delicious wonton soup. Perfect chicken broth. Scallion pancake was very yummy. Kale salad was lovely.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner around 6pm. It was busy but the wait wasn't too bad, about 15 mins. The check in kiosk was simple to use and we were given a status text on our phone. The restaurant is bright and open and you can see into the kitchen area. Ordering is easy bc all you do is check the boxes next to what you'd like to order on their menu. We ordered the pork and crab xiao long bao, the pork steam bao, and chicken and veggie spicy wonton in chili sauce. Everything was delicious and came out hot. If you're looking for a quick and yummy dumpling place in Lynnwood, this is it.

Customer Service was awesome! Waited for more than an hour to be sited. The food is average, dumpling filling is so little. Will visit them in the future but will not wait if there a long wait. Its not worth it. Kudos to there servers, they are the reason for a 4 star!

They just opened. Stopped in for a quick bite. Everything was good... not great, but good, if that makes sense. Service was quick. Ambiance was pretty loud and bright. Just open tables. 3 of us came to $100 after tip.

Food and service was great. But the A/C was not working and it was too hot inside. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Food is good, however experience was terrible. After 40 minutes I had not received my chive dumpling order. I asked the waitress for my check and requested she just take the dumplings off my bill. She said, they will be ready in one minute. 10 minutes later no dumplings. I had to leave and walked out, having paid for dumplings I never got. Service was disorganized and they tried to give me a cucumber salad that I didn't order (was someone else's) Food tastes good but a service disaster

Came here for lunch on a date. Ordered a good amount of dumplings and adult beverages. They are definitely still figuring out service with a new team (they just opened) My sake came out after my appetizers. Dumplings came out at different times etc. I hade to chase someone down to close out my check etc. Not bad, I'm sure it will get better.

One star ONLY For changing a menu and removing my favorite appetizer marinated braised pig ears . Please bring it back! I can find dumplings in a lot of different places, but that appetizer was unique.

I love the warm service, ambience, and food. Their Ube Milk Tea is surprisingly good! I always love their Dan Dan Noodle (although the portion is small now). However, the Shrimp & Pork Dumplings are not good. Save yourself some money & do not order it =)

A little crowded when we went, but the food was fantastic. Fast service and many options!

I'm so glad I found this place! I came here with my whole family and we had an amazing time. The service was great, even on a busy Sunday, and the food was delicious. Definitely a must-try!
