Great food! Great service! Our server Keilana had the BEST recommendations and service. Amazing atmosphere in the restaurant. Would recommend for nice dinner out, Date night out, or just friends night out! Lots of parking. 10/10 dining experience.

Google
We tried several dishes today, overall, the flavors were great. However, there are some couple things to note. For the scallion pancake, I think it could use more scallions; otherwise, it just feels like eating plain dough. The pan-fried dumplings were also delicious , but the skin was a bit too soft. A crispier texture would make them even better. It is a fantastic restaurant, especially for authentic food in Sugar Land. Their xiao long bao are a must-try, and we’ll definitely be back!

The place is clean and inviting. The service was amazing and the food is delicious! We loved the sweet and sour cucumber, Dan Dan noodles, vegetable potstickers, pork and shrimp potstickers, chicken soup dumplings, and Beef sandwich. We will definitely be back!

Google
Dough Zone impressed us with their excellent food and even better customer service. We tried a variety of dishes, including the soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, cool cucumber salad, and spicy beef sandwich. While one of our orders took a bit longer to arrive, the staff immediately addressed it without us having to ask and comped the dish. Their dedication to customer satisfaction really stood out. Everything we tried was really good, and we highly recommend giving them a shot if you're in the area!

We ate steam pork dumplings , Kyle veggie, beef bun, Dan Dan noodles , scallion pancakes, chives pancakes. Food is delicious. Chives pancakes filling can be less salty but it tastes good. Decor and atmosphere and clean of restaurant is relax and pleasant. Staff provide wonderful service. Highly recommend this restaurant in sugar land.

Enjoyed all the food at Dough Zone Sugar Land. Upon walking in, you experience wood tones and modern, simplistic design which is very pleasing. One of the staff members walked up to us and sat us down. We were given a menu list and a pencil where we selected all our food items. There is no menu to look at so it’s easier to scan the QR code to see pictures so that you have a better idea of what you are ordering. The service is different than what you might expect from a regular sit down restaurant. There isn’t an assigned server to you, several servers brought out our food at different times. It wasn’t bad, just thought I’d mention it to set expectation for folks. Our faves were the pork soup dumplings, the chinese crepe, and the fried wonton with chili sauce. We really enjoyed the food and 8 plates were about $60, which was plentiful for our party of 3. Definitely recommend you give Dough Zone a try!

Google
Happy to have this dumpling place in Sugar Land. Their food is always good and tasty. The style is Americanized somewhat, but it maintains well with the original authentic tastes. Xiǎolóng bǎo is a must have every time. Other dishes such as Dan Dan noodle and Potstickers are also wonderful. Everything on the menu is good. We come to this place a lot.

Great place to stop by for dinner before a concert down the road! Everything we ordered was so tasty and we loved the ordering system. Prices were so reasonable too. Get the sour plum juice — it was so yummy!

Yelp
I was around the Sugar Land area with family on the way to First Colony mall. But one place was suggested to visit and that was Dough Zone Dumpling House. I had heard good reviews from friends and family of the restaurant for their specialties. And of course I am always up for it all things buns and dumplings. The restaurant is nice aesthetically and noticed there are also a few touch screens kiosks to place to go orders. But we were dining in. It was a first visit for me and wanted to pick out items to give me a feel of the restaurant. So I picked out: pork soup dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, beef sandwich appetizer, steamed buns and pan fried buns. The pork soup dumplings were flavorful and texture nice. Some places can make them too thin, not enough soup broth or too thick but these were the right amount. The steamed dumplings are good too. Good chewiness and packed a nice flavor. The beef sandwich I picked because of the "Chinese burger" item I would see but this was a bit different. The bun, amount of meat and pickled vegetables were great starters. But finally had to give the steamed and pan fried buns a try the steamed buns were a nice size and juicy. As you can see I was a bit optimistic so I took a picture to buns in haha. But what was great was the pan fried buns. Still that nice bun, size, contents were just right but that nice crunchy bite at the bottom makes me choose it over the steamed version. Overall Dough Zone Dumpling House was a good experience. The staff are nice and helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The place is very nice for your bao, dumplings and a few others craving. Not a huge issue for me but it was interesting on the timing of the dishes coming out to the table. Ideally I would like to go: appetizer, dumplings, baos, and last would be soup dumplings for a nice light finish to the meal. But it was interesting to have it go: Dumplings, soup dumplings, beef sandwich appetizer, and then last were the baos. Maybe I'm just nitpicking but having the appetizer in the middle was something that stood out. Having the starter in the middle of the meal had me internally scratch my head. Because typically those items are quick hitters and first out the kitchen. But not a problem at all if it was a more convenient way for the kitchen to get items out. It's all going to be eaten sooner or later haha. But good experience, that is just the tiny remark for me.

Yelp
We tried this restaurant when it first opened summer of 2024. Establishment was bright and slick with beautifully designed interior and ample seating. Semi open, white kitchen to the side to ensure cleanliness. Courteous, friendly service at relaxed paced. Servers gave recommendations but didn't provide reasons for the recommendations, just gave description provided in the menu, verbatim. Dishes came one or two at a time. We did not order any of the steamed dumplings but of the two noodles and wanton in spicy chili sauce we ordered, the dishes all kind of taste the same. Portions are decent but on the smaller side. Very clean establishment with parking.

Yelp
I first tried Dough Zone in Seattle and was excited that it made its way to Houston. I remembered it to be not bad in Seattle and wanted to take my friend. We arrived on a Friday night and there wasn't a wait. Upon arrive the restaurant is clean and bright. We decided to share an order of xiao long baos, spicy wontons and beef noodle soup. The xiao long baos came with minced ginger instead of sliced ginger, which I did not prefer. The dumplings contained soup, so I was happy about that. Spicy wontons were tiny and you only get 6 dumplings. It was labeled as spicy but I didn't taste that much spice so I decided to add more chili oil that was provide at the table. The chili oil wasn't spicy at all. The beef noodle soup was light but not bad. My only complaint is the bowl is super tiny! Overall, I think the food is just okay. Everything is small, size of the bowl and size of the dumplings. Very expensive for the portion size.

Yelp
This is a trendy Chinese restaurant and great for groups as you order a bunch of dishes to share. This is a favourite among my Asian friends in the area. I came in a large group of 12, and we were seated right away on a Saturday at 6pm. However, it became full soon after we were seated. This is what we ordered: Pork xiao long bao: good but not much soup Pork and crab xiao long bao: really liked it although could only really taste the crab Sweet and sour cucumber: a little too artificially sweet, I wouldn't get it again Braised pork ear: tasted normal to me (hard to judge because I'm not a fan of pig ear in general) Green onion pancake: super crispy and tasty Pan fried pork bun: this was my favourite! Pork wonton in chili sauce: this was excellent and the favourite of our table The server asked us how we wanted to split the check, and they didn't seem to have any strict rules on it which was very nice. I ended up paying $17 for my share of the bill, which is reasonable for a more trendy restaurant like this one. I was just comfortably full though, while my friends ordered more to eat.

Cindy S.

Yelp
Came for an early dinner and had a great experience. The XLB were delicious! My favorite flavor is pork- so juicy! Service was a little slow but our waiter was nice. Great addition to the Sugar Land dining scene!

Lauren N.

Yelp
Food - Pork Xiao Long Bao: Delicious! I enjoy placing them on a spoon, poking them with chopsticks to release the soup, slurping it, and then eating the dumpling. Full of flavor! Highly recommend. 10/10 Fried Wonton with Sweet and Spicy Garlic: I preferred this sauce over the typical chili sauce. It paired perfectly with the fried wontons and offered a unique flavor. 9/10 Beef Potstickers: I usually don't choose beef, but this was surprisingly flavorful. It's my new favorite! 10/10 Green Onion Pancakes: A nice starter. Freshly made, but nothing particularly special. 8/10 Service - Very attentive! 10/10

Yelp
I really wanted to love everything about this place but I can only love the Thai tea, cucumber, and the soup dumplings. The other stuff is just ok. The regular dumplings need more taste, the noodles are a little bitter and tangy, and I almost tried everything on the menu within two visits. The staff is pretty good but more attention needs to be given for people that need napkins and more water. Plenty of parking at the Sugarland location and inside is mostly clean. Sometimes the tables need to be wiped down better.

Yelp
I've tried some of the best Xiaolongbao while living in China, so I always appreciate a good soup dumpling when I find it in the States. I don't expect full authenticity but definitely value the effort. So when I heard this spot opened in Town Centre, I knew I had to give it a try. The location is convenient, plenty of parking in a shopping mall area. The interior is clean with a modern feel. Easy to order (dim sum style) and quick service. I started out with the Dan Dan noodles, which were solid - good amount of seasoning with the Szechuan peppercorn but not that spicy, good texture. The star of the show for me were the Sweet & Sour Cucumber, excellent presentation, complements well with the Bao. The pig ears were very good as well. As for the soup dumplings, they were just okay, the broth was good but the meat was a bit underwhelming, it came across like slightly elevated frozen pre-made Baos. I've definitely had better homemade ones from friends/family. We got to try 2 orders plus an order of pan-fried ones. Overall, I still enjoyed the meal and appreciated the simplicity of this whole experience. It's a great addition to Sugar Land, offering another great option for Asian food. This trip brought back some nostalgia from my younger days living in Sugar Land, having only a handful of mom-and-pop spots for Asian cuisine. While I'd come back if craving dumplings in this area, there are definitely better options in the city or Chinatown. 4 stars

Robert B.

Yelp
Service had dropped dramatically. When you're the only table in the place that occupied and you have to get attention for both a water refill and to get the check. Sadly this comes with hiring kids. But it's to be expected

Michelle N.

Yelp
Closest I can get to din tai fung. Everything we had was great except the beef roll was meh. Their dough was not too thick, just the right amount of meat All dumplings and Dan Dan noodles were my fav. To-go wasn't good.

Ivan K.

Yelp
Ever since this spot opened, I've found myself coming pretty regularly when I'm in the mood for soup dumplings 小籠包. I had some initial reservations about authenticity given it's a franchise, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The food is tasty, the dumplings are pretty good, and the decor is very new and modern with a classic feel at the same time. There is plenty of space inside and I've enjoyed each lunch and dinner that I've been here. Definitely a part of my rotation in the Sugar Land area and I'm sure I'll be back sooner than later.

Yelp
I've been eagerly anticipating a visit to Dough Zone, known for its stellar dumplings and highly recommended bao buns. Sadly, my recent experience was marred by a significant letdown: they were out of bao. Upon arrival, I was excited to try the bao, which was a major reason for my visit. Unfortunately, I was informed that they had run out of bao for the day. While I understand that shortages can happen, it was a considerable disappointment. We decided to stay and try other items from the menu, and while the dumplings were indeed tasty, they didn't quite make up for the absence of the bao I had been looking forward to. The dumplings were well-prepared and flavorful, but without the bao experience, the meal felt incomplete. The staff was polite and apologetic about the situation, which I appreciated. I hope this was just an unfortunate exception and that future visits will offer the full array of dishes, including the much-anticipated bao.

Joyti K.

Yelp
We had an excellent dining experience! The service was top-notch--every time we needed something, the servers were attentive, friendly, and always had a smile. The food was equally impressive. The dumplings were outstanding! We ordered the Chicken Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and the Pork Wontons in Chili Sauce, and both dishes were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. The ambiance added to the experience--a warm and inviting space with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for enjoying a comforting meal with friends or family. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Dough Zone is expanding and now it is in Sugar Land! The restaurant is much bigger as compared to the other locations in Houston. The interior is simple and neat, just like the other two restaurants. I was seated promptly, and the staff were friendly. My food was served hot and fast. The pork xiao long bao had a good amount of soup individually, and the ratio of dough to meat was perfect. The fried wontons weren't crispy like I thought it would be. They were more like potstickers texture. However, I love the sweet spicy garlic sauce. The Q-bao was ok. The skin was too thick while the meat portion inside was small. The zha jiang mian could have more meat in the bowl. Overall the food here almost had the same standard as the ones in Houston.

Yelp
The place is clean and inviting. The service was amazing and the food is delicious! We loved the sweet and sour cucumber, Dan Dan noodles, vegetable potstickers, pork and shrimp potstickers, chicken soup dumplings, and Beef sandwich. We will definitely be back!

Suelynn N.

Yelp
I took my family out for dinner here. I heard many great things and wanted to try them out. as you can tell. We have a lot of different types of dumplings and noodles. They were all good. My mom loved their food and that's a rarity coming from her. My favorite was actually the cucumbers. Everyone should at least get that. Some of the items they claimed it is spicy. Scale of 1 to 5 with 2 being mild, I would put their spicy at a 2.5 . The cucumber weren't spicy to me. Despite some of the stuff being premade, the quality of the food was really good. (Some dishes can't leave out the spiciness. For example, the sauce for hot and sour glass noodles.) if you want your food to be spicy, you may need to rely on the spicy sauce that's on the table with soy sauce and vinegar. if you're looking for like Indian Pakistani level of spiciness, maybe not this location. The restaurant was very clean and well kept . Shout to Damon. He was an amazing server. He took really good care of us and my parents. (And listening to me about paying the bill. My parents always want to fight over it... ) Parking is free and out front .

Yelp
I have been a big fan of ding tai fung for years and kept hoping Houston would get one. However, Dough Zone popped up on my social media feeds as opening a new location in Sugar Land only minutes from my house. We recently got dumpling world and even though it was good it was no ding tai fung substitute. Now, Dough Zone might well be a value replacement! There are many items that were comparable in taste but half the cost!!! I couldn't believe how affordable some of their items were. Their soup dumplings were delicious and I believe it is $9 for 8!!! Vs DTF is $13? For 6? Also here the crab ones are the same price as the pork and shrimp! We literally ordered 47 items for our table so there are so many things to go through. But I will say the Dan Dan noodles, the beef noodle soup, and the cucumber were other standouts. We will be coming back regularly as it will fulfill our dumpling cravings as a very affordable price!

Emy A.

Yelp
We went here for lunch. The place was surprisingly large. They have bamboo steamers as part of their wall decor. They had so many choices on their menu that I wanted to try so we ordered a lot. They provided ginger in a small plate. On the table, there is vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil tat you can mix with the ginger. We liked the sweet and sour cucumber, pork and shrimp potstickers, fried wontons with chili sauce, and banana naan bread. The beef in their spicy beef pancake roll was interesting. The jianbing Guo zi crisps were bland. We liked their Thai tea. We will definitely come back to try their other menu items.

Flola T.

Yelp
If you're looking for casual Chinese food, I'd give this a 4/5. If you're looking for something authentic, I'd give it a 2/5. My family liked the pig ears the best. The xiao long baos were lacking in flavor and filling. They would satisfy a craving, but authentic soup xlb's have lots of filling and soup. The sour and spicy noodles didn't taste great, had a very monotone flavor. The spicy bao I've attached a photo of is literally sitting in oil which made it very unappealing and unappetizing. The ube taro drink is okay, quite artificial and a bit sweet. Comparable to Sharetea-type drinks. The interior was clean and decorated, plenty of parking, and the service was great! A major con is the lack of physical menu's. I imagine a good amount of older people would want to try this place out and have a relying on small phones isn't ideal.

Vicky L.

Yelp
My friends have been talking about this place and were super excited to try it out. Maybe they hyped it up too much, but it personally didn't meet my expectations for a Chinese dumpling style restaurant. When you first enter, the modern Chinese style atmosphere welcomes you alongside greetings from the front desk. The host seats you and gives you the paper menu with a front and back side that you can mark on for ordering. A server comes to pick up the paper slip you've filled out and sends it to the kitchen for preparation. The menu/order sheet is taped to the side of the table afterwards. Their menu is on the smaller side, with a focus on apps, shareables, pan fried goodies, and noodles. We shared everything we had ordered on this visit including the Green Onion Pancake (thin, small portioned, and not too oil, minimal green onions inside), Pan Fried Beef Pies (very hot interior, not very flaky exterior, not too much beefy flavor, kind of stiff and packed meat), Pork Xiao Long Bao (not soupy enough, skin too thick, broth not very flavorful, tops with holes so not completely closed and leaked soup out), Pan Fried Pork Buns (very frozen-like, kind of dry, not too flavorful), Beef Potstickers (nice and crispy edges and exterior skin, quite beefy), and Spicy Beef Shank (our favorite item we had this visit, like a lightly spicy and numbing beef jerky). We were checked on by multiple servers throughout the visit and wasn't quite sure who our main server was. Not sure if the servers are team-oriented/tip splitting either. Also, each table has their own set of condiments for use (soy sauce and vinegar), but not as good as other places I've tried (not much depth of flavor in either). Would I come back for more? Only if I was in the mood for soup dumplings or pan fried Chinese snacks and in the burbs. There are so much more Chinese restaurants that hit the spot more authentically and more fresh tasting than here at Dough Zone. I'd say it is just okay, not great but not bad either...just know that it tastes pre-made, frozen, and reheated.

Courtney W.

Yelp
Newest dough zone location in sugar land! I was excited to try this chain from the PNW. It's a prime location by the first colony mall and there's plenty of parking available. The interior is nice, very open and bright. Tables are clean and there are many workers, service is pretty good. You mark what you want on a paper menu and they input it for you. Soup dumplings, 8 for $9. We tried pork and crab. These were pretty good, the skin was the right thickness and they tasted pretty authentic. The crab flavor was extremely subtle, but I still enjoyed these. Price is reasonable considering how much other restaurants charge for soup dumplings these days. Red oil wontons- just ok to me. Decent filling and not overcooked, but I've had some spectacular ones at other places and this portion was really small. Pan fried wontons- the exact same wontons from the other dish, but pan fried with the lace. Tastes good but not really a wow factor. Also super oily, which I didn't really like. Q Bao (sheng jian bao)- I liked the flavor of these, they actually tasted pretty close to ones I've had in Shanghai and places in Chinatown. They are very round on the top, which makes me think they're machine made. Yi Ben Noodles- the only noodle dish we tried, but looking at other people's orders of different noodles, I wonder if all of the noodles are the same and it's just the sauces that are different. Flavor is nice, but portion is so small. I think this tiny bowel was ~$8. Cucumbers- a popular appetizer from the looks of it. I liked the sweet and sour flavor! Pig ear- thinly sliced which was nice! Slight spicy kick was pleasant. Classic app! Banana naan- basically Chinese pancake with a little bit of banana, pan fried and served with whipped cream. This was so oily, it was almost off putting. The flavor itself was good, I would have liked if there was chocolate or red beans. The pancake dough didn't have the texture I was expecting, which almost makes me think it was prepackaged or frozen before. My overall impression is that the service is very good and they pay a great deal of attention to presentation. But the food is simple, the menu is small, and most of the food, especially the dumplings and pancake, make me feel everything is either prepackaged or made in a central kitchen before being shipped to the restaurant. I feel the food is more like 3 stars, but the service and environment bump it to 4 stars.

Denisse C.

Yelp
Immediately yes. 10/10. The place is big with plenty of seating. You get sat and they give you a paper with everything on it and you pick how many you want of each thing and then they start bringing all the delicious food out. Soup dumplings, so so good. Spicy wontons. Delicious. Scallion pancake- flaky and buttery and crispy and yummy. Everything was delicious I cannot wait to go back!!!!

Kelvin F.

Yelp
Pretty solid place. Doesn't try to pretend what it isn't. The dumplings are consistent and pan fried perfectly. The soup dumplings were pretty tasty and decent value.

Kari W.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place so bad because the food pictures look amazing!!! But it wasn't as incredible as I expected taste wise. Everything we ordered was pretty average, but I will say the service was really good and everything was decently priced. I just feel like there are better Chinese restaurants in the area.

Christina M.

Yelp
I can't get over this place. So dang good. It might not be the BEST Chinese food I've ever had but it's the consistency, good packaging, and easy to go ordering convenience for me! They have so many tasty options on the menu. It is pricey but honestly- I am okay with it. Hope the taste continues to stay this good quality! 10/10

Justine H.

Yelp
I'm glad Sugar Land has a Dough Zone, but purely because it's closer to me than One Dragon. The pot stickers are tasty, and the soup dumplings are pretty good. Sliced cucumber appetizer is all looks and no substance. The best xiao long bao in sugar land are at TX Rice Roll (aka Tao Rice Roll), but they're not open for dinner. If you're craving dumplings for dinner, Dough Zone is a great option.

Manny C.

Yelp
OK guys don't waste your time or money. This is not a restaurant that will last very long in Sugarland. As my kid stated buns. ***Portion size- Weak ***Lacks Flavor- Weak Sorry for being blunt, but I was expecting much more.

Karina M.

Yelp
I am a HUGE fan of dumplings and it seems more dumpling houses are opening up in Fort Bend County. The ambiance of this restaurant is very elegant and elevated compared to more casual restaurants with similar menus. The plating of the dishes are also beautiful... My lease favorite dish was the scallion pancake. It was more flakey dough and not enough scallion at all. Lacked flavor. The dumplings were good, but I wanted GREAT. I would still come here again, though. The service by the way, was very attentive. Plenty of parking and great for groups, including kids.

Christy P.

Yelp
I came here and tried the pork buns, pan fried veggie dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, soup dumplings, and kale. The best things were the Dan Dan noodles and kale, but it was pretty average / disappointing food overall. I literally did not care for anything else much at all. Prices are good, but I feel like this is an instance where you get what you pay for. Service was good and the food didn't take too long to come out.

Wendy T.

Yelp
The entrees we ordered were nice, and I definitely see myself going back again eventually. I had the green onion pancake which I thought was a bit plain/bland. The fried wontons with chili sauce were really yummy, and I really enjoyed those. The chicken steam dumplings were nice. My mom and I both like the Szechuan cold noodles more, but I thought the vegetarian spicy ma la noodles were tasty too. We also got the chrysanthemum tea to sip and enjoy along with the food. It didn't seem like a lot we ordered, but we were pretty full and happy after. The place was very modern and clean. They even have a counter and ample seating space to serve guests for togo orders (and people waiting for a seat). The staff all seem very friendly.

Timmy L.

Yelp
The q bao is one of my favorite dishes at this place. The cucumber is also good, it is sweet with a little bit of sour. I tried their hot and sour glass noodle was my least favorite as there was too much peanuts in it and not a lot of noodle and the broth didn't have much flavor.

Matthew C.

Yelp
I recently got to try the new Dough Zone that opened up in Sugar Land Town Center! Dough Zone is a dumpling/noodle chain originally from California, and they now have 3 locations throughout the Houston area, including their newest location in Sugar Land. The interior for this location is modern and beautiful, a perfect environment for a cute date spot (I love the little dumpling baskets as wall decorations!). I found most of the food the be pretty good quality and affordable as well. Here's what I ordered: - Scallion Pancake ($3.95) - these were very yummy and crispy, a classic - Pork and Shrimp Potstickers ($6.95) - so good, and the bottom crispy part was huge! - Beef Steamed Dumplings ($6.95) - these dumplings had high-quality skin and flavorful meat filling - Sweet and Sour Cucumber ($6.95) - very unique presentation - Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($7.50) - this is such a good deal! it's a clear broth beef noodle soup, and the beef is super tender -Pan Fried Chive Dumplings (3ct, $6.95) - These were a bit too oily for my taste but still tasted good! - Pork Xiao Long Bao (8ct, $8.95) - Overall these were probably my least favorite item I tried. The soup inside the soup dumplings was a bit lukewarm.

Sunland C.

Yelp
Q bun and xiao long bao were both tasty and will be the main thing I'd get in the future. The spicy beef roll was mala kind of spicy more than hot spicy. The jiangbing was kind of a mess though. It immediately fell apart and had way too much sauce.

Gloria J.

Yelp
food was good vibes were chill and the service was friendly and attentive. would come again also you can get soupie dumplings togo pretty cool (in htx they never let me, I understand why but... ToT) totally my order next time disclaimer: def not the best or top 10 dumplings I have had BUTT this place is like a chill and solid place to eat good add for Sugar Land ‍ will come again

Yelp
NEW OPENING! Welcome Dough Zone Sugar Land, a widely popular fast casual restaurant which opened yesterday, June 10. This popular chain selling comfort northern chinese food is known for their signature dishes: XLB xiao long bao/soup dumplings, Q-Bao (shen jian bao) crispy bottom buns, Dan Dan noodles and pot stickers (with wings). Originating from Bellevue, WA they are mostly a West Coast chain. Sugar Land is their 3rd outpost location. I was surprised the restaurant is pretty large and seats up to 130 people! See pics for menu, how to get on waitlist, and how to properly eat XLB! Yelp
I was so excited to try Dough Zone and they did not disappoint. My son and I had some free time during lunch so we jumped at the opportunity to try it. The first thing you notice is my Asian brothers and sister are about 85% of the crowd. You know it's going to be good. We ordered sweet & sour cucumber, pot stickers, Q Bow , and beef stew noodles. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service extraordinarily! I was visited at our table by 4 different team members. Wow

Lottie Y.

Yelp
The restaurant was well decorated and the service was quick. The soup dumplings were tasty. The other dishes were ok.

Been wanting to try the beef pancake since we saw Dough Zone in Seattle. Worth the wait! The pancake is crispy and wonderfully flaky. Note that the beef filling is more akin to finely sliced jerky since it's purposely dried with a little bit of sauce. They nailed the flavor combo. So good! The beef noodle soup was also a winner. Just the perfect size with about 4 pieces of beef shank, noodles, bok choy and beefy broth. The prices are very reasonable. The place is modern with high, open ceilings and well situated seating arrangements. Service is excellent. Staff all willingly offer assistance in a friendly way, not pushy. Give it a try!

Yelp
Food: Triple thumbs up . I order 8 item and they all great . Dan Dan Noodles 担担面 (like the noodle texture ) , Q-BAO (Pan Fried Pork Buns) (love the bun crispy ) Steamed Pork Buns (love the bun are soft and thin ), Pork & Crab Meat Xiao Long Bao 蟹肉小笼包 (juicy) Braised Pig Ear 卤猪耳 (perfect make not too hard and not too soft ) Spicy Beef Pancake Roll 麻辣牛肉卷饼( like the meet is tendon and the out side not that oily ) Green Onion Pancake 葱油饼 (If can add more green onion with be much better ) At the end I order the banana naan with cream 香蕉飛餅 (not too sweet but when add the cream balance ) Service : the sever who take care of my table name Max Z (I hope I don't get it wrong because I didn't ask his name. I found his name in my receipt ) he is good attitude to us and I see he have something bothering him ... maybe because of his table area are next to the window and it was sunset time , so lots of customer don't want to sitting there (if you are working at restaurant you probably understand what I'm saying), but he still do his good work to serve us with nice attention. Also when get close to the dinner time it was clouded and busy but all the server are helping each other with a smile face. Love the teamwork and they make the busy-crazy time become Unity energy. (More busy more happy) Ambiance : place a big and clean. But I was sitting at the window and was getting sunset time so it's a bit warm, if they can do something more on the window specially the bottom part that would be perfect. Overall, love it, and those food coming not a big portion , so it's good for chat with friend and share little thing of each kind . Definitely will be back. Very yummy.

Yelp
Delicious! We ordered takeout which left me a bit skeptical as to how the soup dumplings would make the trip home. But they were packed perfectly and didn't loose a drop of soup. We had the pork and chicken ones with the pork being our favorite. The sweet and sour cucumbers were really fresh and tasty. The spicy dumplings were also very tasty. The pork buns were probably our favorite- they were the perfect thickness, filled with delicious pork and were fried just to the right crispiness. Our only disappointment was we didn't order more of these! All in all- each item tasted great and was at a price point below all the others in the area- a win win!

Yelp
This unassuming restaurant in the same parking lot as La Madeline in Sugar Land has been on our to try list for several months. It's nice inside - the decor is modern, sleek and very welcoming. For two of us we ordered the spicy beef sandwich, pan fried chive dumplings, pork and crab meat long bao, and yibin noodles. It was plenty of food and we did not leave hungry. Everything came out in stages so we had time to eat one course before the next arrived. The food was hot and fresh and well presented. Our favorite was the noodles which (I think) had been pan fried/stir fried and were buttery - with a really lovely umami flavor. The bao buns were delicious as well. The spicy sandwich was a little hotter than expected, but we still enjoyed it, and the fried chive dumplings were crisp and delicious - maybe had some broccoli in there too? We really liked Dough Zone and can't wait to come back with our kids.

Yelp
3.5 stars. * preferred items. *Ube milk tea $5.50- very good. Also tasted like coconut? Green Onion Pancake $3.95- this was okay, mainly just fried. Pretty thin. Spicy Beef Sandwich $6.95- much bigger than expected but that justified the price. lots of beef, but it wasn't spicy to us. We both didn't care for it honestly, didn't like the lettuce in it either. Pork Xiao Long Bao $8.95/8- pretty good, but not the best we've had. We think the XLB from Dumpling World was more flavorful, and the soup was thicker. *Pork & Crab Meat Xiao Long Bao $8.95/8- could taste a hint of the crab. Preferred over the pork XLB. *Q-BAO Pan Fried Pork Buns $9.95 (4)- crispy bottoms, pretty good. Mostly dough, not much pork inside. *Pork & Shrimp Potstickers (Pan fried dumplings) $6.95- very crispy. Pretty standard dumplings. *Beef-Stew Noodles $7.50- pretty good. would order again. small serving (not a full meal for someone). Not a lot of protein, but tasty noodles. Service was a bit lacking- we had to wave down waiters when needed. You order on a sheet of paper (like at dim sum places). Water was refilled adequately though. Plenty of parking. Not sure if the bf and I would return honestly. This was my brother's 2nd time eating here (visiting from Austin), so I guess his family likes it enough to return.

Yelp
Ambiance is clean and casual. Service was good but the food was just meh for us. We've been to Dough Zone in Seattle and was really good but the Houston locations are lacking in quality. The soup dumpling fillings and broth are decent but the skin is on the thicker side than I prefer. The green onion pancakes lacked flavor and was flat. Not a big fan of the spicy beef pancake or the jian bing guozi bc of the bean paste inside made it quite salty. Sweet and sour cucumbers were refreshing though. I hope they can improve their standards up to the flagship locations in Seattle.

Yelp
My favorite Dan Dan noodles anywhere in the country. I originally fell in love with Dough Zone back in the San Francisco area, before they shuttered their San Leandro location. The portions aren't huge but neither are the prices. And the food itself is outstanding. Their soup dumplings (pork and shrimp) and Dan Dan noodles are my favorites but all the dumplings I've had have been great. The only thing I've not enjoyed is their mala noodles--- a little too preserved vegetable heavy for my taste. This place is so good, I drive 2 hours to get these noodles.

Yelp
Delicious XLB and other dim sum items! Service is great for something that just opened a week ago.

Yelp
I would not go to this restaurant! My boyfriend and I have been sick to our stomachs since eating dinner there tonight. I hope no one else has to the same horrible experience. There was something not right with the food or food handling or something?!? Additionally, we were underwhelmed by the options on the menu. We are huge fans of dim sum and there are some great dim sum restaurants in Houston with so many great dishes to choose from. That said, the service was great!

Yelp
I was very impressed with the food and the service! My friend and I ordered all of this (and one more full order of soup dumplings) and the bill was $48. I will be back soon!

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed this place a lot. We just came back from Vegas and had soup dumpling (xiao long bao) at a place that got a Michelin Star in HK, and we all agreed these soup dumplings were a lot better (and cheaper). My kids don't eat pork, so they had the chicken soup dumplings. There was a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and they all tasted good. My only criticism would be about the dumpling skin, it would be a lot better if it was thinner. It is hard to find Chicken Soup Dumplings. I'd resorted to buying them frozen from the Asian supermarkets, but I'm now glad we have a local place to enjoy them. We also order a bunch of other items. The Chicken Wonton in Chili Sauce was very tasty (just as good as the one in Vegas). I had the Spicy Beef Pancake Roll, which was also delicious. We ordered two noodle dishes, Szechuan Sauce Cold Noodles and Zha Jiang Mian, both tasty but noodles seem a little chewy. For the vegetarians, you have a lot of good options. My wife, the vegetarian, enjoyed the Kale salad Sesame Dressing, Vegetable Dumplings, and Szechuan Noodles. There are a lot of vegetarian options (more than other places). As for the interior, it is very spacious, clean and cool (very refreshing when outside is super hot). There is a lot of staff ready to serve you. There was a problem with our order, and the manager came over right away to resolve it. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place has awesome dumplings! It's a bit different, when you sit down you check off on a paper menu what you want. They do have QR menus for those that need pictures (Me!), the place is well lit and the music is nice/calming. We took our kids separately and they both loved the food, we have a 13 year old and an almost 2 year old. Passion fruit green tea was great, pork soup dumplings (we got multiple orders), Fried Wontons with Chili Sauce, Beef Potstickers, Spicy (Ma La) Noodles, Dan Dan Noodles. The list is not in any specific order, just what I could remember we tried. My only negative that might not bother anyone else, they serve tap water when you ask for a glass of water . Again, might not bother others but for those that do mind, heads up maybe get the passion fruit tea or a soda. Still recommend going!!!
