London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Yep, you guessed it, Doughnation is all about pizza. The Covent Garden spot has an outdoor setup that we have no doubt will be packed in the summer, and the menu ranges from breakfast pizza (with a fried egg in the middle) to your regular thin-base margherita. " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

A tad hard to find this restaurant as it's inside/shared space with another restaurant. The menu is also split in half which is a bit odd but nevertheless, a nice place for a quick bite. The truffle pasta was on the cheesy side but good truffle flavours and pizza was a good size given the price and location of the restaurant. For the sides, the salad was fresh and the broccoli was as well, but a little too salty. Staff are very friendly and attentive which was a big plus. Would recommend for a quick bite while visiting

The girls and I went for a Bottomless Brunch and the food and drinks were amazing! They started the hour time slot from when we received our first drink. The spritz are served in massive fishbowl glass cups so make sure you pick a drink you’ll like as it will take you a while to get through it. The pizzas were amazing, I would recommend ordering different flavours and sharing as the pizza oven isn’t large so food will be served as it’s ready. We had a lovely chat with our server at the end of what had been quite a busy stressful day for him but he still made the time and effort to make us feel welcomed, I didn’t catch his name but I wish him all the best with the rest of university! 10/10 would definitely recommend for the bottomless brunch!!!

Avoid the bottomless. Not worth it. Pizza very thick so you wont ever order more than one. Drinks filled with ice. Fruit flies on the food. Told the manager and he didn't seem to care. Overall I would avoid. Seems like a tourist trap.

I am genuinely confused by these reviews because this was one of the most disappointing pizzas I've ever had. It was so dry and chewy, looked undercooked, and it was so bland. The dough was really thin too and not in a good way. I got the pesto crust dipper as well which was really really salty. I had the pepperoni and charging £16.95 for it when it tastes like that is actually criminal. Garlic bread was also really disappointing, there wasn't much garlic to go round. Very sad because I was looking forward to it! Not sure whether we just came on a really bad day or if this is the standard. All the staff was very friendly though and the place looks really cute too!

Really great experience at Doughnation. Myself and three friends went for the bottomless pizza and pitchers. We loved having fish bowls and the cocktails were delicious! One of my friends has a prosecco allergy and they were very accommodating in switching it out for white wine instead in her cocktail. Pizza was also great. We had the peoperoni, marg and ndjua. Three between us sufficed but the bottomless aspect would have perfect if we were more hungry. We drank quick enough to get an extra cocktail after our pitchers, which was even better than the first. Service was great, waiters very kind and attentive with refilling water without asking, atmosphere also cosy and relaxed. Really looking forward to out next visit.

This place is proof of why you shouldn't go to viral internet places. We saw the unlimited pizza and cocktails on Instagram and thought it looked cute, but we came away severely underwhelmed and overly full. The 'unlimited cocktails' is a literal scam, I mean I get that its in covent garden, but my god, it was a giant fish bowl reminiscent of 2014 girls holidays aboard attempting to be a hugo spritz. It was essentially a bowl with endless ice cubes that melt too quick for you to finish one drink. The pizza was fine, but the worst part of the entire experience was that any left over pizza is thrown in the bin at the end. You cannot take away. The server said it was because some people will 'take advantage', but the pizza is already made... it is either coming home or going in the bin, no savings will be made by the company for doing this. Very sad to see a venue ready to throw away food so easily. To recap, it's £35 for an average pizza and an overly ice cubed cocktail, so you be the judge.

I shared a margherita pizza here with my partner recently. We also ordered garlic bread, and both were delicious. We each had a gin & tonic as well. Quick, friendly service on a busy evening, coupled with strong drinks and great food-can’t go wrong!
