"Ahhh...the donut. Even if you're having the worst day imaginable, there's nothing this perfect, wheel-shaped treat of heaven can't fix. If you find yourself within close proximity of Marietta, take your sorrows out at Dollie's Donuts. There's a reason why Dollie's Donuts has the medical cross as their logo; this shop can cure just about anything with their crazy, hand-crafted pastries. For all newbies, be sure to come hungry and come prepared to order some of the most outragous donuts you'll ever taste. While Dollie's does support "bland" taste buds and offers regular cake or old fashioned donuts, their breakfast treats will be in favor of those who want something different. Chai tea, maple bacon, lemon lavender, hibiscus, red velvet and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are just some of their unique donut offerings. If you're more of a fritter lover than a donut devourer, do yourself a favor and sink your teeth into their blueberry or apple fritters. No matter how bad you're hurting from that breakup or how stuffed up your nose is, Dollie's Donuts has your cure, and it is perfect, wheel-shape treats of heaven." - Green Mellen Media

"Hidden in the basement of Canvas Cafe in Marietta, Doughnut Dollies is where Anna Gatti creates “chef-driven” doughnuts. The treats at this shop are beautifully adorned and come in creative flavors like Cereal Bowl, topped with cereal milk frosting or the Sweet Jane, a 24-hour brioche stuffed with vanilla pastry cream. There are locations on Howell Mill and in Virginia-Highland." - Lia Picard

Google
The donuts were okay. We got a dress ledges, donut, a strawberry donut. And the Maple bacon donut, all of them were just okay. The batter and the dough are brioche, but it's very thick and in lacking in flavor. If you want a quick donut, this is for you. If you want to really good donut, I advise going to another bakery.

As a mI believe that fostering relationships with local businesses can enhance our community engagement and offer additional value to our customers and team members. If you're looking for fantastic local spots to enjoy great food and ambiance, I highly recommend visiting Canvas Cafe and Bakery and Doughnut Dollies. Both establishments excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere and offering delicious treats, making them perfect for a casual outing or a business meeting over coffee. Supporting these local gems not only enriches our own experiences but also strengthens the local economy and community spirit.

Google
I have tried dozens of lemon donuts in my life and this is the best lemon donut I’ve ever had in my life. It had a GREAT amount of filling and had an over the top citrus/lemon flavor. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 start review is because the coffee machine was down and no alternatives were offered. Also had to stand back in line to wait for about 5 minutes just for napkins and cutlery - maybe just keep those things out in the open for customers?

Google
One of the best gourmet doughnuts we have had in a long long time. So moist. So soft so delicious. The best part is they introduced vegan options as well. You must go check them out. I am excited to introduce this place to my family and friends

Google
I was advised to stop in if I really love doughnuts and cake doughnuts and I am so happy I took that advise! I got a half dozen donuts as a surprise for my Fiancé and her co-workers and when I tell you my Fiancé was willing to fight her co-workers over these donuts I'm not exaggerating haha. All of these were absolutely amazing and Tha Dollie donut is a creme brulee doughnut which was an amazing surprise seeing as that'sone of my favorite desserts. I will absolutely being coming back and bringing my family that's going to visits over the 4th of July! If you love donuts and haven't been here then take my word, STOP IN, you won't get disappointed.

Google
WORST donuts I have ever had. PRICE is outrageous. It is like eating bread with icing. You can't eat them without taking a drink after every bite or you'll choke on them. If I could give 0 stars for the food I would. ONLY good thing was the service.

Google
Came here after getting a crown at the dentist, naturally. Saying these donuts were the best thing put in my mouth all day wouldn’t be saying much, but saying they were the best thing all week, is. 10/10 would recommend.

Melanie Cain

Google
Always good. When the doors opened, we couldn’t have been more smitten with their creations. Charm & tasty. Vegan peach 🍑 cream doughnut. Sweet Jane is our favorite. No bad doughnut from here. Fun chalk wall.

Yelp
We opted for donuts for a birthday party instead of cake and they were a hit!! Would definitely recommend Doughnut Dollie's for some looking for premium donuts!

Don B.

Yelp
This time I got ALL the donuts!!!! Last time I went was later in the day and they had sold out of several kinds. The crème brûlée donut was my favorite but all of them were delicious. I also got a latte and sat there to enjoy. It was a little cold inside so bring a jacket in the winter to stay warm. The lady working the counter was friendly and informative. There is no table service.

Audrica B.

Yelp
This place is really a piece of work... artwork that is... artists bake here and I love it! The doughnut of the month and other limited time doughy goodness's are superb! The combination of flavors they make are sometimes unthinkable but pair very well together. I never thought gourmet doughnuts could exist, but Doughnut Dollies made this possible with their creative recipes and highly skilled garnishes. You gotta taste these unique, fresh doughnuts. You won't find anything like it anywhere else in this city!

Gwenn A.

Yelp
These doughnuts were so sweet that you go into sugar shock from all the icing. Not my type of doughnuts off my list.

Eunice C.

Yelp
The Marietta/Cobb location the people are weird. I believe it was the mother the last time I went she was not pleasant with an attitude for some reason. I rather go to the Atlanta location whenever I'm in the city. Yes- they are always out of their signature donuts if you go even 2 hours after opening!

Paula R.

Yelp
Greasy! I left the box of donuts on my car seat and it left a grease mark. The bottom of the box was stained with grease and when we opened the donut it was glossy with grease! Threw the box away...full of donuts!!! :(

Ruthy M.

Yelp
These are the best donuts I ever had. It's not too sweet, they're a variety of flavors, but make sure you get there early.

Gladys E.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my doughnut I was pleasantly surprised I really recommend this place

James D.

Yelp
Donuts were a disappointment. Felt like they used day old dough to make their batch on this beautiful Sunday. Nothing looked fresh. I'm questioning if they just laid out their previous day's inventory. Donuts were doughy. We drove to Tip Top donuts just to make up for this. 2 stars because there was a chalkboard for our kid to play with

Neda Z.

Yelp
So we've been here multiple times and asked if we can order/pay over the phone because we don't live nearby and they don't accept that...either you get there before everyone else or order online 24 hours in advance...weirdest system! We have to drive an hour just to get here every time, and EVERY TIME THEY ARE OUT of the specific doughnuts we want! What the hell! It's like they only cater to local Marietta folks. It's ridiculous! They never make enough of their signature doughnuts but make too much of all the unwanted types of doughnuts that they usually have plenty of... the donuts are usually good (on and off) and that's why I gave two stars, but is it enough to waste my time? Don't think so. Change this dumb system and allow ordering over the phone like any other normal establishment!!!

India N.

Yelp
The doughnuts were decent. My favorite was the almond rose. Maple bacon doughnuts are one of my fave but when I broke off a piece of this one I saw cream in it that I wasn't expecting. I'm not a cream filled doughnut person so I was disappointed to see that. The cream tasted like a coffee cream, not a bad flavor but I scraped most of it out anyway. The service was fine. The lady at the counter was quick with getting to my order and friendly. And the ambiance was very inviting, I walked downstairs after visiting the restaurant on top and I could smell the aroma of doughnuts going down the stairs. I would definitely go back for the almond rose doughnut.

Yelp
A late morning visit after a medical appointment, I had heard this was nearby. It's around back & beneath the Canvas Bakery & Cafe. I picked a powdered sugar crème-filled - a Sweet Jane, I believe? Very good but very sweet. Lots of choices & they're priced by "tiers," with basic at the bottom & fancier versions in the pricier tiers. I'll try another version for variety if I make it back here.

Yelp
After my doctor's appointment as I was heading home, my car suddenly turned in to this little parking lot and there was Doughnut Dollies! So, I had to go in. I entered this utilitarian style shop and was greeted by a wonderful smell. I walked over to the simple display and perused the delicious choices of doughnuts. I selected four to take home for my husband and I to try. It was difficult to make the choices! I selected old fashioned, strawberry glazed, birthday cake, and cream filled doughnuts. I really wanted to try the Apple fritter, but it was just way to big - maybe next time! Each tier of doughnut is a different price, and it was not clearly marked which ones were which. I had to ask the server to point them out for me. When I got home, We made sampler plates to taste a bit of each kind of doughnut. Each one was very good. My husband loved the old fashioned (heated up). I think I liked the birthday cake best - it's an old fashioned doughnut with a top layer of icing and sprinkles and crumbles. So, if you are looking for a unique doughnut treat, check out Doughnut Dollies!

Anissa C.

Yelp
These are the worst donuts I've ever tasted! If you know me, you would know I love donuts! I've had the pleasure of tasting from some of the best donut shops in from NYC, Cali, Mississippi and Louisiana! I was so excited to try these. I ordered 4 different ones, the apple fritter is one of my favorites! But not here! They all tasted the same, dry, no flavor, with horrible frosting on top! Absolutely disgusting... I spent $13+ on 4 donuts only to take a bite out of each and throw them in the trash.. ...

Yelp
We stopped by this morning for a treat before running errands earlier in the morning, and there was not much of a line! I guess that's the secret - get there early :) The inside of the shop is so cute, and the doughnuts looked amazing, as always! Today we tried the chocolate glazed, birthday cake, and the Mikey. I am a big doughnut / dessert lover, and I really appreciate how Doughnut Dollies doughnuts are not only delicious, but are each a little work of art. They are almost too pretty too eat (notice I said "almost" haha). The huge selection of doughnuts they offer is also really impressive. And they are a very reasonable price, in my opinion. They have a few different price tiers, ranging from around $2.25 - $3.75, and they are well worth it! I think we will make this our new Saturday morning errand tradition :)

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Donut was cute and fluffy. But it sat for a few hours and look at my bag!!! Grease! Tasted like grease as well. Had to throw it away. So disappointing

Samantha B.

Yelp
I'm not usually a fan of doughnuts but I LOVE these doughnuts. they always have a good selection and I like how they rotate flavors!

Brianna R.

Yelp
Stopped by Doughnut Dollies in the morning after an early doctor's appointment. Tip: come early because they will run out of doughnuts! They had a nice selection of flavors, but I went with some classics. I got a Strawberry Frosted, Blueberry Cake, and Chocolate Old Fashioned. All were good, but a bit oily. They are yeast doughtnuts. Large and a little dense. For me, the best was the Blueberry Cake, since it had plenty of flavor. The Chocolate was a close second. The Strawberry was good but I wish it had more strawberry flavor, since it was not coming through in the frosting. I need to come back and try more of their limited seasonal/monthly flavors.

Garrett O.

Yelp
Found my new favorite doughnut place Their menu always changes I was told. The pictures for this review include a Carmel sea salt glazed donut and a crème brûlée donut, but there were so many others I wanted, like the cereal donut that had fruit loops on it and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch one that they had already sold out of for the day $8.75 for two humongous donuts and a Yoo-hoo (don't judge me)! Worth it! I've never had to pace myself when eating donuts before, but every time I took a bite I was like dang this is good and just wanted to savor the flavor of it. I liked the spot too, wasn't really busy, they had some seating inside, but I was in a little bit of a rush. Looking forward to trying more of their donut concoctions in the future!

Yelp
My ATL area donut experiences were limited to Sublime, DaVinci's, and Five Daughters before this (not counting Krispy Kreme and Dunkin..... different playing field) and WOW I am glad I stopped by Doughnut Dollies. I came around 9:45 on a Friday morning; selection was good and it wasn't too busy although there's marked social distancing spots and hand sanitizer available. It's an open space with its own parking lot; entrance in the back. I came intending to get a half dozen and ended up ordering a whole dozen, because there were just a bunch of interesting flavors available that I wanted to try! The man serving me was super friendly and helpful with recommendations and info. The dollie is basically a creme brulee stuffed donut; looks unassuming but don't sleep on it bc it was delightful. My other favorites were the almond and rose donut, blueberry donut, and the classic chocolate frosted. Bit pricier than your average dozen, probably because they are much nicer and bougier than your average dozen. I also got an apple fritter, which my boyfriend and his family loved. Overall a great treat if you're craving donuts, want to treat yoself or someone else, or are just in the area! Do note they get heavier and oilier the longer it takes you to eat them - I will just have to exercise self-control next time and only get a couple.

Joseph T.

Yelp
Shared one of the chocolate filled doughnut. They're pretty big doughnuts. Yeast style and a little dense. Get there early; we stopped by on the early afternoon and most of their stock was out. Spacious gender neutral restrooms.

Tim M.

Yelp
Good, large donuts with a price to match. Wide variety of unusual donuts. Has tables to eat inside

Jason C.

Yelp
I was here on vacation in Atlanta and wanted to find the best doughnuts in town. I haven't been to many other places in Atlanta, but I find Doughnut Dollie's hard to beat after my experience here today. I got the Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Cobbler, S'mores, Chocolate Whoopie, and Birthday Cake. They were all amazing, and HUGE. Yes I ate all 5, because they were that good. I was definitely full after 3 though. I've been to many doughnut shops across many cities, most recently in New York, and this is my favorite place I've ever been to. The doughnuts are big, freshly made, and the flavors are delicious. Prices are hefty at close to $4 a doughnut, but they're well worth it. You truly get what you pay for. Plus, it's a small business, so shop small! Special thanks to John who I met at the shop. Not sure if you'll ever see this, but I appreciate everything!

Jess S.

Yelp
A shoutout to DD for having vegan options! They are hard to find in the area, so if you're on the vegan donut hunt, here's your stop. Our non-vegan friends also love these as they are fluffy and more croissant donuts. If you're ever looking for a fancy donut box to gift, you'll find lots of options. The staff are pretty friendly, but the prices do feel high, even for gourmet donuts. Perhaps because out of state comparisons are more fluffy and the vegan options elsewhere are less sugary. That said, you'll sure to find something you'll love if you try it out!

Megha D.

Yelp
So so yummy! I went on a Sunday around noon and thankfully they still had plenty of donuts to choose from and not busy at all. Plenty of parking and a small sitting area too. I got the Dollie (creme brulee) and the Mikey (maple bacon) and both were so delicious. The Mikey was probably my favorite; the bacon and the maple icing was such a good combo. My friend got the Sweet Jane which was also good but definitely super sweet with the icing in the middle. These brioche donuts are definitely something to checkout!

Annie M.

Yelp
We went in around noon on a Saturday and they'd been pretty much cleaned out! A small selection was left so I was super sad about that but they had one pb&j+fluff doughnut left & it wasn't something I'd normally get but I'm so glad I did! It was soooo good! That's not a flavor combo I'd mix but it was perfect. It's got a peanut butter glaze & crumbled dried strawberries I think on top. Inside is jelly + marshmallow fluff & I was here for it. We also got the chocolate p'nut one but I didn't eat it yet. It looks delicious though. They are on the bottom floor of a shopping center & have plenty of parking. Hoping to try that bacon doughnut one day

Gretel Y.

Yelp
Doughnut Dollies is one of my favorite donut shops if not my absolute favorite in Atlanta! I've been to this location twice now and every donut I've tried has been AMAZINGGG! I've tried the following: Mikey: Brioche, Espresso Cream, Maple, Bacon $3.75 Clementine: Brioche, Clementine Butter Icing, and Candied Clementine $2 Glazed: 24 Hour Brioche, Vanilla Bean Glaze $2 Sea Salt Caramel: Brioche, Sea Salt Caramel Icing $2 Delce de Leche: Cinnamon Sugar Brioche, House Made Dulce de Leche $3.50 I love yeast donuts and theirs has the perfect texture. The icing is sweet, but not too sweet. The flavors are on point! My favorites are sea salt caramel and dulce de leche. Delicious! This location is almost an hour away from me, and I often think about making the drive! There's ample parking and seating indoor. The donuts are a bit pricey, but they are big. Worth it!

Juliana R.

Yelp
Delicious doughnuts I was very eager to try these! And please make a candy corn doughnut please !

Christopher M.

Yelp
Very very very mediocre doughnuts overall not factoring in cost. If I was to factor in their price point they're very very underwhelming. 1.5/5

Yiven C.

Yelp
Divine array of doughnuts to satisfy your sweet and fat cravings. Embrace the fat +'s: + Amazing selection to satisfy nearly everyone's tastes. From savory bacon to fruity strawberry to classic traditional, everyone can find something to embrace. + Novelties such as Birthday Cake beats a cupcake. This version tastes like a cake version of a doughnut. + Welcoming staff who patiently let you finalize your picks. Skip the fat -'s: - Tipping. I'm all for electronic payments but when there are default tips that start at 15% and most for your business is takeout then I am peeved. Takeout requires minimal service and it does not start at 15%. It's a hassle to tap through the electronic pad to do a custom tip. There should be a default of 5% and 10% for a business that leans on takeout. It is standard.

Nancy N.

Yelp
The perfect ratio of brioche and custard/icing. I've eaten so many different ones in one sitting! How can you not try them all. Get there early or order on chow now before they sell out!! So many speciality and limited Time flavors. Always try the Dollie.

Tori W.

Yelp
Food, smell, service, staff, decor, vibe ... all a 10/10. I have never had a bad donut here. They're all amazing, creative, and unique. I look forward to my once a month work in Marietta just so I can get a couple donuts. 100% going to order my wedding desserts from here!

Timia Y.

Yelp
I made a yelp account just to leave this review. I was very excited to try this place the doughnuts looked delicious on their instagram page where I discovered them sadly I was disappointed. I tried the banana foster and the blueberry glaze . Both were probably the worse doughnuts I've ever had. I tasted nothing but grease from both pastries I had to toss them both in the trash. Money down the drain

Nathaniel J.

Yelp
Ok so I am a donut fanatic and have been searching through GA for the best of the best. This is is by far the best of the best. No other donut place that I know of puts as much care and detail into their donuts. Normally you just have the same donut topped with random sweet items but here, you get a huge variety of shapes and makes of donuts each made using different ingredients, teas etc. My favorite doughnut here is the PB&J, the Smores and the Dollies. If you want to check this place out, you need to go as early as possible. Anything after 1100 is typically leftovers any day of the week. I went on a Wednesday at 1130 and they were already sold out at the Marietta location.

Anissa M.

Yelp
My first visit here was unsuccessful because they were out of doughnuts. My second time here, I picked out a dozen donuts and out of the 12 -- I liked 4. They were definitely more cake-like and a lot thicker than your average doughnut. After spending almost $50 on donuts, I probably won't be back. These would probably be great to bring in for the office or an in-home brunch, but for a regular occasion? Eh.

Taja S.

Yelp
I stopped in here while driving through Georgia on a road trip, I figured a healthy dose of sugar would help wake me up and my reach my final destination! This shop is interestingly situated, kind of behind and beneath the building its within, so it's not readily noticeable - parking is also a little wonky and tight. I have to imagine that when it's a busy time of day it's probably much more of a nightmare, but I got here around lunch time so it wasn't too bad. The inside is quite spacious, very clean, though I suspect it may have been understaffed when I went as I had to wait about 5-7 minutes to place my order because the cashier was on the phone. Not a huge inconvenience, just a noticeable wait since I was one of three people in the entire store. But moving on to the donuts! Unfortunately a bunch of really interesting flavors I would've loved to try were already sold out by the time I got there. But I made the best of the situation and opted for several different flavors: Peaches and Cream, Sunflower and Honey, S-mores, Fluffernutter, and Chocolate Orange. First, I just have to shout out how ingenious it is that they use brioche dough here - it creates donuts with pillowy soft texture and chew, and I was super impressed by that alone! As for the flavors.. - Peaches and Cream: this was my favorite! Soft sugared donut filled with fresh whipped cream, sliced GA peaches, and rosemary sprigs. Simple and phenomenal - and the touch of rosemary was truly next level! - Sunflower and Honey: a solid option! A honey glazed donut topped with sesame seeds, and I particularly liked the nuttiness and crunch the seed topping gave the donut. - S'mores: a halved brioche donut stuffed with a toasted marshmallow, topped with chocolate icing and graham cracker crumbs. This was definitely tasty, you can't really go wrong with s'mores flavors - but I would've preferred a marshmallow creme center. It was just too bulky and solid of a center, imo. - Fluffernutter: chocolate brioche with marshmallow creme filling, and peanut butter icing. Suuuuuper rich, decadent, and heavy - absolutely delicious, but I couldn't finish this one! - Chocolate Orange: this was a surprising hit for me, and my second fav! Chocolate brioche with an orange glaze, zest, and fennel pollen - that fennel really did add a little burst of flavor and texture that made this very unique and enjoyable to me. All in all, I admire the creativity demonstrated here by their flavor offerings, and the quality is undeniable. These are great donuts!

Yelp
I finally got a chance to go to Doughnut Dollies on Mother's Day. They were selling a special "Mother's Day Picnic Basket." It came with 6 donuts in the most unique flavors: WATERMELON, BLUEBERRY THYME CRUMBLE PIE, BLACKBERRY CORNBREAD, ARNOLD PALMER,FIG & BRIE, AMBROSIA. These were the most delicious donuts I have ever had. I felt like I was eating a piece of art. Apparently they do picnic baskets for most holidays. The store is modern looking and was spotless. I visited during the time of COVID so social distancing was in place and all patrons and employees were wearing masks. Definitely check out Doughnut Dollies if you are in the Marietta area.

Richard W.

Yelp
What can I say about this establishment except for exceptional, gourmet donuts! With now to my knowledge three locations one in Marietta the other one in with West Midtown and the other being located in Virginia Highland neighborhood. I've never tasted something that was beyond my expectations and continuously, stay there without disappoint ever. I came across Donna dollars one day through my mother. Who at one point worked at Marietta eye clinic. And because Donna dollars with essentially right behind it when she brought home some donuts and when I tell you, the flavors were beyond accurate. I can't stop thinking about this place honestly. So much so I bring it up when people ask me about a good donut place. Yes, Sublime Doughnuts is brought up. But in my honest opinion, Sublime Doughnuts are more like subpar donuts comparatively. There's so many things on that mean you that I've had I don't even know where to begin. But to give me an example of the quality, imagine the donut that is honestly a cake when you bite into it and it taste like a red velvet cake or a Keylime pie I had an apple pie donuts . And on top of that delicious morsel is the icing. With that as something that did not only complements, but enhances the expected flavor and quality of the doughnut. Yes, the doughnuts do cost an usual amount for people who aren't used to that quality. But it is justified due to the care of ingredients of quality and to support locally owned businesses within the Metro Atlanta area. I'm say this month. Donut Dollies is argumently one of my favorite novelty pastry shops. I hope this review alone convince you to go ahead and take the leap and indulge yourself in greatness.

Yesenia B.

Yelp
I ended up in this little doughnut shop totally by mistake. I was heading to Panera and made a wrong turn into a parking lot next to it. Thought this was another entrance to the shops upstairs but low and behold... this cute little store appeared. There are only two tables and a counter with a couple of chairs but you don't really notice. The space is spotless and open. What you do notice is the smell of happiness and the pretty donuts that greet you at the display window. There was a small line and everyone was waiting patiently for their turn. That's how I knew Panera would have to wait. I followed the line and listened as the lady explained all the flavors they were offering that particular day. Creme Brûlé and bacon something were all I needed to hear. I needed up buying three donuts and a cup of coffee, for the DH, the total was $13..Although it sounds expensive it was totally worth it. I can't wait to go back and bring the kiddos.

Jami B.

Yelp
Strawberry Frosted is the best and sweet Jane!!!! guys you should buy those and buy the chocolate one which one is your favorite

Raeah C.

Yelp
So disappointed. I've been wanting to try this place for weeks but I'm highly disappointed. I got three donuts. One bday cake, one chocolate iced and one that's butter cream filled. The donuts were SALTY. I know that sounds impossible but I promise you it's true. Idk if their recipe includes a finishing salt or something but I could finish any of the donuts bcuz they were so salty. Will not be back.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
We've been twice both times they had nothing for Gluten Free. Stop advertising Gluten Free if you don't have anything. It's not a fad for me it's a absolute requirement, we don't have a choice. Just take it off your menu if you're not going to have it!

Felicia C.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of doughnuts! I've seen pictures and read raving reviews of Doughnut Dollies everywhere so I decided to check them out. The doughnut I had was amazing, plan cake doughnut with vanilla icing. My only complaint is there is ONLY ONE vegan doughnut option. It would be nice to have a variety of vegan doughnuts by my house instead of driving across town to Revolution or settling for less than tasty vegan doughnuts from Whole Foods, but I can't lie... the one vegan option they have they definitely got it right If I weren't vegan I would want to try: Chocolate glazed Strawberry Apple fritter Cinnamon toast Raspberry shortbread Just throwing it out there in case they decide to make more vegan options!

Jang C.

Yelp
Doughnut Dollies is underneath Canvas Cafe. So just look for the Canvas Cafe sign. Actually, you don't need to. The Doughnut Dollies sign is bigger than Canvas's sign. Once you drive in, just drive down into the back. Then you'll see Doughnut Dollies right there. The place has a trendy, industrial feel. I guess since it has the name "Dollies" they must want to give an industrial feel. They have 4 tiers of doughnuts. The first tier is your cheapest, up to tier 4, where it's more expensive. I don't think the 4th tier is better than the first tier. It just gets more fancy as you move up a tier. For instance, the 4th tier has your gluten free doughnuts. You also don't buy a dozen at a time. You buy a al carte. So you pay for each doughnut. I tried about 6 different doughnuts here. They're pretty good. I think my favorite was the classic "Old Fashioned". It's a more cakey doughnut with glaze. I thought I wouldn't like a cakey doughnut, but I loved its old-school flavor and texture. It was still nice and moist. Their Boston Cream was good too. I loved its Vanilla Cream inside. Their Dulce De Leche was interesting. I thought it would be filled with some sort of cream. But it just had a dollop on top. I think they should pipe that dollop inside the doughnut. I liked this place. I love Doughnuts, and this is a great place to get some fancy ones up in North Cobb Area.

Yelp
Doughnut Dollies is opening up a location in Westside Atlanta. Neat! A recent event at UrbanTree Cidery turned me on DD and this news. The event was a pairing between DD donuts and UrbanTree's ciders. Four ciders were matched with four doughnuts. Pineapple sage upside down cake- hot caramel glaze, sage sugar, pineapple crisp 24 hour brioche, almond rosewater frosting, toasted almond, rose petal Carnival apple doughnut- apple cake, butter glaze, house made kettle corn Black forest doughnut- dark chocolate brioche, sour cherry, spiked cream So these aren't really the flavors that I would have chosen for myself, but there were alright. Nice texture to them. Out of these, my fave would be the carnival apple. Though I do not think that the kettle corn added anything. I do NOT like chocolate donuts and I actually like the Black Forest more than I thought I would! I plan to visit their new store and then hand select the donuts I would like. I will rate again when that happens!

Yelp
Overall: Good, not great. I think I was expecting more based on what I'd heard. I will say that the strawberry basil was amazing and definitely worth returning for but the others ranged from okay to ick. I got half a dozen and only cared for three flavors. The lavender goat cheese was a nice flavor. The chocolate orange with fennel pollen sounded wonderful and it would have been minus the fennel pollen. That really ruined it though. And the Boston cream was a total loser. The cream has a very sour and off-putting taste, also mentioned in another review. This was really disappointing because Boston cream is one of my favorite donut flavors. The chocolate iced also left a lot to desire. Personally, their doughnuts are too thick for my tastes. But the texture is pretty nice and they have some interesting flavors. I just think, for the most part, they sound better than they actually taste. When I pay north of $20 fir six doughnuts, i'm expecting them to be great and I just did not feel that I got that, with the exception of the strawberry basil. It was the only one that I really felt was worth the trip and money. I wouldn't say it is likely that I would return here. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way. I feel that, while there are some unique flavors, I can get better donuts at much more reasonable prices at other places in the same area. It's a bummer because I really love unique and innovative flavors but these just didn't do it for me like I so hoped they would.

Yelp
I'm giving Doughnut Dollies 3 stars only because the past two times I have been I have had awful customer service. It has been the same woman both visits. I read a review below that mirrored my experience. The woman made me feel like I was being a bother to her as I felt rushed picking out my selection while I was the only person in there. This saddens me because their donuts are outstanding with a great variety of unique flavors. Going forward, I will be patronizing new donut shops due to poor customer service. Tip: please send this employee to Chick-Fil-A's customer service training. She needs it desperately.

Yelp
I recently moved to Marietta, Georgia from California where I had access to some amazing donut shops. I'm a fan of simple donuts; a good glaze donut, a good chocolate donut, a good sugar donut. I'm not normally a fan of these newfangled and rethought donuts that are adorned with fifty ingredients such as Froot Loops or broken up candy bars. In my quest to find a great donut shop in the area, I stumbled into Doughnut Dollies. At first, I though it was one of these newfangled and rethought donuts shops. I wasn't excited to try their donuts until I saw that they had a creme brûlée donut. Since creme brûlée is my favor desert, I had no choice in the matter. I had to try it. Suffice to say, it was really good. I've been back since to try the strawberry donut, which also very good. As for the apple fritter, it lacking apple and sweetness. If I had a recommendation, I feel like their glaze coating is not sweet enough. All in all, Doughnut Dollies is one of the better donuts I've found in Marietta. With that said, I haven't found donut shop that makes a good simple glaze, chocolate, sugar, or white sprinkle donut, such as those I had in California. My quest continues...

Yelp
My son really enjoyed his chocolate covered doughnut but it appeared to be pretty standard. My husband and I shared a dollie and thought it was pretty good. The dollie was sweet but not over bearing which is nice. I would definitely go again but I would try to come earlier in the morning. The doughnuts looked like they were prepared well but by 10am when we arrived they were starting to taste a bit "older". Overall very solid though!
