Logan Circle’s Viceroy Hotel Wants to Offload Its Marquee Restaurant | Eater DC

"A glamorous American indoor-outdoor restaurant that opened in 2022 as part of the 178-room hotel off the buzzy 14th Street NW corridor; the 3,750-square-foot dining space was christened with a big Hollywood party during White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend. Veteran chef James Gee, who formerly led the kitchen at I'm Eddie Cano (Chevy Chase) and Cittanuova (East Hampton), sent out catch-all menus bursting with colorful produce, seafoods, and plump Roseda Farm burgers and steaks (1430 Rhode Island Avenue NW). Gee tells Eater he parted ways with the LA-based hospitality company last month. The hotel sent a statement to Eater: “We want to assure our valued customers, staff and partners that [the restaurant] has no immediate plans to cease operations at this time. We are open as usual and continue to welcome guests and locals with the same exceptional service they are used to. That being said, we are always open to exploring new opportunities and partnerships to better serve our community.” The incoming operator would also handle all catering capabilities for the boutique property." - Tierney Plumb

We purchased our Dovetail furniture from Furnitureland South. We liked the look of the Nantucket sideboard, purchased it, and then ordered another piece, the Garda sideboard. Just last week, we heard a loud noise, only to find that our less than 2 year old Garda sideboard cracked. Furnitureland South told me to reach out to Dovetail, who has yet to respond. Think twice if you are considering buying Dovetail. The furniture looks great, but from the attached pictures, it does not hold up. Very disappointed.

We ordered a lot of Dovetail Furniture from Furnitureland South. Everything has been delivered except our dining room chairs and a dresser. Dovetail keeps giving us bogus delivery dates. It’s been 5 months and now we’ve been given another new date 1 month out. Why in November would you not know or communicate that it’s going to be 6 months or more before you can get us the remaining items. This is very frustrating when I have a table but don’t have the chairs to go with it and can’t get an honest answer.

They Sold me a used chair in a box that had been returned and re taped as New!!! There was a tear in the stitching and discoloration and fingerprints all over the chair When I picked it up and commented about the box condition being so poor ...The shipping department said it was perfect shape and I trusted them ... when I delivered to client and opened box it was used torn and had been reboxed !!!!! Called immediately to complain they said it wasn’t that way when we gave it to you nothing we can do. I will never deal with such a disreputable company again
