"The Brewer’s Fork team opened Dovetail in 2020 in Charlestown’s Navy Yard, which functions both as a full restaurant and a specialty foods and lunch shop. The shop carries excellent wines, cheeses, spreads, sauces, and niche Massachusetts-based brands like Dumpling Daughter and Union Square favorite Gracie’s Ice Cream, as well as makes sandwiches and salads to-go. The chicken Caesar wrap is hailed as one of the best in town. On the other side of the wall is the restaurant, serving brunch, lunch, and dinner in a cozy setting and on an enviable patio in the summer. La Super Frenchy (uber-fresh greens tossed in a sherry-tarragon vinaigrette), steamed Maine mussels, beef tartare (with pimenton oil, horseradish, and smoked VT cheddar), house-made pasta, and the Maine lobster roll will quickly have you planning your next trip to the Navy Yard." - Anna Darrow
