Down Town Association.

Historical building in downtown Manhattan, near Wall Street train stations. Was here for an event and the venue is gorgeous. Beautiful woodwork and moldings, spacious lounging area and great hall. Good old time charm.

Lovely and in New York City. The ambience, the beauty of the building, the service exceptional. And then there is the special Marcos. Understated, intelligent, an encyclopedia of Manhattan and all around pleasant fellow. Glad DTA has him at front desk. Thanks Marcos. The rooms are fab crisp and airy. Classic NYC social club in beautiful clubhouse setting which is frequently served for movie and televisions shoots. Has spacious new guest rooms which are open to he public. Great bar, walk in humidor, barbershop, game room, library and private dining rooms.

Had our corporate holiday party here and really loved the space. It's a beautiful, classic building that feels very "old New York".

My group had a cocktails and hors d'oeuvres event here and it was great. The setting is very old world and the service is friendly.

Wonderful building in the Financial District in NYC. I attended several event there and totally love the atmosphere and interiors.

The building and community spaces are incredible. Visited during House of Spirits. Blown away by architecture. I want to come back to perch upon the couch and sip whiskey!

While I may not have contributed any pictures, as you can plainly see from other peoples work, this here's a classy joint Even just admiring the architecture from the outside is a minute or two we'll spent.

I love the interior and the set up of the space! If you have a connection, this would be ideal to host large gatherings. They have small rooms where you can have a chat/drink as well as large dining rooms for parties. Coat check is located to the right of the first floor. They have stairs and elevators so you can avoid heavy foot traffic and have easy accessibility for those who are disabled/elderly. The staff are all very attentive and polite. The food and drinks did not disappoint but my favorite part was seeing the old-fashioned space adorned with Christmas decorations. As soon as you walk in, you get a warm, happy feel for the holidays!

Most definitely not closed. This location is open, but only to members. Inside, this members-owned social club is a veritable treasure trove of local and member history. Designed for large meetings as well as smaller chats in the reading room or just a place for people to relax and enjoy their time, this is a beautiful space if you have a connection or a membership.

Even though you know I love Petula Clark, I really don't like to go "Downtown". And that's not a euphemism. Or maybe it is. In any event, I had a professional development event at the Down Town Association and it was okay. Conveniently located right across from the Pine St entrance to the Wall St 2/3 train station, this is a beautiful old building with a stunning staircase. My meeting room was on the 3rd floor and I got to peek into some of the rooms/salons on my way up. Some gorgeous sitting rooms, library-type rooms..very old school. The meeting room was comfortable, a little old and worn, but nice enough. They had sandwiches, which were okay. The only problem was there were no napkins. Am I supposed to wipe my mouth or hands on my pants? I mean, I'd expect that in Philadelphia, but in NYC? Come on. Again, I don't like going downtown because it takes forever to get there (like 20 minutes!) but if there were another meeting here, I'd go because this is a cool spot.

We were invited here for the 18th annual Sailor's Ball by our friends at Versace. The building is an amazing structure tucked into Pine St and has fantastic architecture throughout. We were greeted upon entering and, after taking some red carpet shots, allowed to explore the various, themed rooms on the first 3 floors. Since we had invites to the pre-ball dinner we made our way to the Mount Gay themed room and grabbed a few cocktails and then waited for our friends to arrive. The dinner was served by a very attentive and courteous staff and consisted of mushroom risotto appetizer, veal piccata main course and tiramisu for dessert. Mark LoPresti, who was chairing the ball, even brought out vintage wines from his own cellar which were great, particularly the Valpolicella. After dinner they had several rooms playing different styles of music to dance to and a casino themed room with the proceeds going to charity. All in all it was a great night at a historic venue and for a good cause.

We have our annual school formal here and it's always a blast. The staff is great and super accommodating, and the venue itself is beautiful. I love that there are multiple floors and rooms that we can wander in and out of, and different setups in each room. Definitely the perfect venue for large, dressy occasions!

I came to a retirement party here and I loved the vibe. I felt like I was on Gossip Girl. There was a very old-fashioned feel and lots of history. The cocktail hour was on the first floor and dinner was upstairs. The staff were all friendly and extremely attentive. The bathrooms were fit for a queen, very luxurious. The food was delicious and the party was great.

Attended a party hosted by the DTA. Nice friendly staff. Lots of space, comfortable feel.
