What It’s Like Being a Left-Handed Chef in Restaurants | Eater

"Co-owner and chef Emmele Herrold often unnerves staff with her left-handed chopping because the motions look backward to right-handed coworkers, yet she has carved out solutions—arranging an expeditor station with tools and garnishes on her left where she’s comfortable and benefiting from a raw bar setup run by a fellow lefty. Overall, she hasn’t found left-handedness to be a hindrance and has adapted her stations to suit her reach and rhythm." - Brenna Houck

Lots of tasty restaurants and unique shops, little pricey in general but very walkable and fun. As long as you ignore the antisemitism it’s a great place to hang out!

Love going here for evening strolls. There is Shain Park and Booth Park within walking distance for children's playgrounds. Shain Park is artfully landscaped to show off colors in every season. Pop in to Starbucks Reserve for your caffeine fix and also to use the restroom. Lots of brunch options like Common Wealth cafe, Toast, Mad Hatter Bistro , Social Kitchen, etc. Brooklyn Pizza is a favortie soit as well. The art fairs and Christmas market is amazing. Also, a short walk to Quatron Lake Park. The one complaint I have is the lack of public restrooms, when I compare to places like Holland.
