Ten minutes from south Gilbert, this year-round Saturday market gathers growers, heritage bakeries, and small producers. Frequently cited by Phoenix New Times and run by the Downtown Chandler nonprofit, it’s a handy overflow option when you want more.

Downtown Chandler Farmers Market is a vibrant and local favorite built right into Dr. A.J. Chandler Park West, every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with extended hours from 7, 10 a.m. during the summer months. The market brings together dozens of vendors offering fresh produce, gourmet bites, artisan goods, and handmade treats. Expect a lively yet relaxed vibe with casual live music, community yoga classes, and fun family-friendly touches like Kids Day. It’s a small but charming market that showcases real local flavor and feels welcoming to everyone. A great way to spend a Saturday morning supporting local growers and grabbing a bite in downtown Chandler!

The Downtown Chandler Farmers Market is my favorite Saturday destination! The market is full of fresh, locally grown produce, artisan breads, honey, salsas, and handmade crafts. It's easy to find parking, and the park setting makes it perfect for relaxing. I love that most Saturdays also offer yoga sessions and kids' activities. Whether you're grabbing farm-fresh veggies, a snack, or enjoying the community vibe, it’s a fantastic spot to spend a morning.

It's pretty small farmer's market, but it's great. Go orderly in the day.It gets too hot out

Many restaurants and green spaces. Chandler city hall, a historic hotel (San Carlos) and Chandler Arts Center. It's a great place to be plenty of parking nearby.

Small and quaint a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Circle around the local vendor tents and enjoy free samples of coffee, tea, chips and salsa among others! Yoga in the park is available for anyone wanting to get up earlier for a spot. It is nestled in the heart of downtown so plenty of walking around to little shops, restaurants, and bars!

Very friendly people and vendors! Great way to make connections. There were only maybe 20 stalls so it was pretty limited and none were really my interests. I was hoping there would be a coffee vendor there so I could sip coffee while walking around. They had a few pet treats stalls, some beauty products, beef jerky (which we bought some and it's amazing), only one real food place that had tamales and then some bakeries. My friend and I then went to the Uptown Farmer's Market after since they have a huge selection of local businesses to look around at. This is a great location, just need a bigger selection of vendors!
