This downtown Farmers Market really impressed me! It’s clean and everyone is nice and happy! 🌸🎉😍 Good food, good drinks, good produce, good bread, really lovely fruit stands, and lots of samples. I really enjoyed it, and so did my pup 🐶 Preshie!

Love that there is so much variety here. Couldn’t find parking easily, but once I circled the area, I found parking. I suggest, In this heat, bring water to drink(or buy a drink there), while walking around .

The honey guy has High quality honey. I buy the large bottle for $27:00. Flavor you can't get from the store.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite locations for the Long Beach Farmers Market. There are a few Long Beach Markets but this one is downtown on the promenade. The above string lights and surrounding street art adds to the experience. - I like that the iconic Harvey Milk Promenade Park is right around the corner. My favorite sellers were the flower vendor and the Claritea tea tent owned by locals. I loaded up my backpack and was able to gather my fruits and veggies for the week. - My only concern is the safety of the surrounding neighborhood. However, there are close public transportation options and lots of restaurants and shops to check out while you are at the market.

Yelp
This is my first time at the Long Beach downtown farmers market. They have several fruit and veggies stands all organic, of course. They had a couple of vendors to eat such as Mexican, tamales, artesian bread, and nuts. There was a few cute patio chairs set up along the sidewalk so you can eat. I did feel like the prices for the fruits and vegetables We're on the high side. But organic does tend to be more expensive. most of the fruits and vegetables looked and smelled very fresh . The parking area is perfect. Make sure you enter from third street and on right there is public parking and you walk straight to the event. 2 hrs free. So if you're in the downtown Long Beach area on Fridays between 10 and 2 PM, come and check it out.

Yelp
This ties with Palos Verdes as my second favorite farmers market after moving to San Pedro. If I can't make it to Torrance on Tuesdays or Saturdays I'm either visiting Long Beach on Friday or PV on Sundays. Excellent location with lots of free parking in the vicinity. Great selection of vendors even though it's much smaller than Torrance.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this farmer's market by mistake on my way to a brewery across the street. I love farmer's markets in general, so super happy to find another one in the city I live in. Not the worse nor the greatest, this is the perfect market to stop by if you live in the area. Limited vendors and hot food options, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Interesting layout and use of limited space, it's a little awkward crossing into the area where the hot food is located. Solid 3 stars from me.

Yelp
Friday, 10:30 am | 2 blocks full of vendors and 3 different hot food options. They even had a compost station for folks to bring theirs from home. They are here every Friday minus holidays. ¡ACCEPT EBT! All the vendors were super nice and the produce was excellent. They let you try many of their lesser known products. Hot Foods today were: -tamales -pupusas -Filipino food: lumpia, pancit, skewers and more! SUGGESTION: Some only take cash and many prefer cash so make sure to bring some if you can! & early bird gets the worm, make sure to arrive early to take advantage of everything they have to offer!! Stands included: -bread + pastries -Coffee -fresh juices -homemade salsa -loose leaf tea -flowers -fresh pasta -mushrooms & a -tons of produce Parking: 2 parking structures with free parking for 2 hours and plenty of meter parking

Yelp
Disappointing experience the day we went. There were several booths with pre made food but very few vendors with fresh vegetables. Just doesn't compare to other farmers markets in the area.

Yelp
So disappointed. Finally had the day off and had a chance to visit the market. Was sooo.small. Had few venders with fresh items. Very limited selections and prices $5 for a basket of strawberries? $1 for a piece of corn way too high. Corn was 5 for a $1 at winco. There was a few good hot.foods available probably catered to local workers on lunch. Gave them.2 stars because parking was easy, close and free. I plan to check out Bixby Knolls farmers market when I can and possibly Lakewood. The only decent farmers market I have experienced in Long beach is Marina Pacific on Sundays. and it's fruits and veggies are way over priced. When the price is HIGHER than Whole Foods i won't buy it Although not in long beach.the best farmers market I have been to is Huntington beach on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yelp
Relatively small, but still good options. Can't really complain for it being downtown which is a treat. But don't get your hopes up beyond kettle corn and some fresh veggies because most other vendors seem sporadic. Although the micro greens guy seems to be a normal and I like his stuff. I'll be back!

Yelp
Love this market and appreciate them taking EBT and having market match so everyone can access healthy food.

Yelp
Beautiful market filled with so much joy right in the center of the city! All of the vendors are so welcoming, produce is fresh and the food is delicious! I'll let the images speak for themselves.

Yelp
Yeah, wasn't impressed, where are the vendors? Mingled with a customer, Nedda, and she suggested 2-3 other local farmers markets to visit, Seal Beach, Belmont and another in LB off of 2nd St. She said it's difficult for ppl to be a vendor at the DTLB farmers market, too strict. This one probably won't last if they don't change this. Sad too because it's a great location and in the heart of DTLB. Will try this place again next Friday, earlier. Maybe today was an off day because of the prediction of rain?

Yelp
This farmer's market is smaller than some of the others in the area. It just might be the smallest in all of Long Beach. With that being said, there are some good quality vendors worth checking out. I gave the tamales a try and regret not just grabbing a dozen. Besides raw fruits and veggies, there are honey, cold pressed juice, salsa, hummus, cookies, and popcorn vendors. Don't sleep on this market.

Yelp
I'm happy that the farmers market is continuing, but I was disappointed that several of the hot food vendors were not there. I was also surprised when I went to eat the pupusas and tamales I bought and discovered they were frozen, they had previously always been served ready to eat.

Yelp
TGIF!! I'm so happy this farmer's market is in downtown long beach. They have all the essentials : kettle corn, beautiful flowers, tamales, fresh fruit and veggies and so much more. Bring cash and lots of bags. I'm so happy to have this in my neighborhood.

Yelp
This Farmers Market is getting one star for the simple fact that the hours of operation is not correct. It says they close at 3 and I arrived at 2:30 to find that everyone was already packed up. If you are going to pack up at 2pm then the closing time should be 2'oclock not 3. Originally I was going to express this directly to the organizer because I drove 30 minutes to get here but they were no where to be found.

Yelp
I will definitely go back! The vendors have a nice variety of fresh produce, nuts, flowers, teas and herbs, natural apple cider vinegar, freshly made breads & sweets in all kinds of varieties, all the things you go to a farmers' market for. We got there pretty late so some things were picked over, but still there was enough so we could get what we wanted. This is a very small farmers' market -- we didn't see crafts or artwork, just produce and to-go already prepared food. Great tamales and fruit drinks -- I'm rating it high because even though it was so small, everything was set-up nicely, good quality and great prices. There was construction going on in the area so maybe once that's completed the market will attract more vendors.

Yelp
Well, Went down there today. 2015-08-28 and it is NOT THERE. Tried their website, not updated since 2014, phone disconnected, and no eMail address. Too bad, was looking forward to going regularly since I now work in LB.
