"East Austin Mexican restaurant Ma’Coco opened up this sports-ish bar and restaurant also in East Austin in August, with weekend brunch in tow. The New American-ish food menu means daytime steak and eggs, breakfast BLT sandwiches, double-stacked pancakes, and bottomless mimosas. Brunch hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury

"East Austin Mexican restaurant Ma’Coco opened this nearby casual bar in early August. Recreation works as a sports-ish bar with plentiful house and classic cocktails like margaritas, mules, and Ranch Waers, alongside New American-ish food and snacks. The employees are amazing, the grounds are clean and there's plenty of parking. They have many programs and things to do here. You will have to come visit to appreciate! I'm impressed mostly by the staff who are outstanding!! They are friendly and helpful. Theres classes you can enroll in and a teen camp during the summer. Fun for the entire family, pet friendly and lots of things to do without spending any money! This is so helpful in today's economy!

The Costa Mesa downtown rec center is nice. I teach archery in the back but they have a great teens program and a nice basketball court. I have never seen the pool, but there are always a lot of kids during the summer.

Best public experience I've had playing pickleball. Went on a Saturday, 8 to 10, had a moderator/attendant/welcome person. AC was on. Nice to watch while waiting between games. Wait, why am I sharing this, now everyone will go!

Best place in Las Vegas Valley for indoor pickleball, away from the sun, heat, rain and wind. All equipment is provided Mon-Fri 8:30AM-12PM. You only need a participant ID card to play, if you don't have one it only cost $17 for a year, free for veterans, and free for seniors 60+.

It gets crowded during the gymnastics hours throughout the week, and they're constantly changing the bathroom combo. Frankly unless it's for the adult gym times at night, you don't want to be here. So many kids.

Easy to get to. Lots of rec classes for the kids. However, there are a lot of homeless people roaming around. So, keep an eye on the kids will you're there.
