Look. Santa Monica is, if you love the ocean, an ideal living location. But good luck getting in if you don’t have lots of money. It’s beautiful. Clean streets, tons of plants, beautiful shops, gorgeous streets lined with trees to walk or play under. Traffic to or from their is hell during rush hour, & driving in Sm isn’t easy, lots of one way streets, no left turns, bike lanes and Sunday drivers all week. But if you’re inclined to an ocean climate, Santa Monica is almost as good as it gets, Especially being in such close proximity to Los Angeles proper. Their city council is EXCELLENT, but extremely strict. I prefer doing business in Monica to LA any day, but it’s small, hard to get to (just in terms of driving time), so I don’t go often. I like it, though. They still have lamellae theater, and coffee just tastes better there.
