"I found that street seating is already underway on Doyers Street in Chinatown; it serves as an early example of the city's plan to close vehicular traffic to create outdoor dining areas as part of a larger effort to convert up to 100 miles of streets for social distancing. The official weekend open-streets program is set to begin July 3 (Fridays 5 p.m.–11 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays noon–11 p.m.), with additional streets expected to open by July 17." - Tanay Warerkar
