Had a lovely first time here. The owner and staff weee super friendly and accommodating. The buck wheat pancakes and corn beef hash was delicious and plentiful. Infinite coffee refills is a nice touch. :). Thank you.

Google
The service and food was top notch!! One of the best brunches I’ve been to in years. They play Jazz music from the speakers and their patio is dog friendly and perfectly spaced. Their food is delicious. Sometimes brunch places only have great vibes or a great location but not great food or not great drinks. But this place has it all - great atmosphere, great food, gluten free options, champagne heavy and fresh OJ, and perfect music and friendly/neighborhood vibes. 100% recommend!!

Google
Best brunch in the Bay Area! Great healthier options and just an awesome spot! Kind staff Great coffee! Indoor & outdoor seating Highly recommend the decaf oat milk Americano and banana/Blueberry buckwheat pancakes 🫶 fresh avocado & great poached eggs

Google
Classic American-style family-run diner serving hearty portions. I cannot stress how delicious their home-style potatoes are. They are thin slices similar to hash browns and cooked well. While their menu doesn't have any food items that are exceptionally unique, you cannot go wrong with any of the choices. The servers are nice and more than accommodating. Since there is no jam on the table for the toast, they'll happily provide that upon request. On weekend brunch time, there is usually a wait, but they have plenty of indoor and outdoor dining seating in a rustic, open-air environment

Google
Cute little brunch spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. Prompt service & friendly servers. We started with lattes, and got the smoked chicken chorizo scrambled eggs which came with potatoes and cornbread & the pancake combo with chicken apple sausage. My favorite was the pancake dish, I loved it! I’m a bit picky about how eggs are cooked in general so it’s hard for me to find the perfect egg dishes and they usually end up feeling mediocre. I’d love to try a different dish next time!

Google
We just discovered the Doyle Street Cafe which has a very exotic breakfast & lunch menu! While they are only open til 2pm, I’m told that on the weekends, there are lines outside, waiting for a table! We had the most delicious breakfast., their DELMAR CREPE: crab cakes, caramelized onions, mushrooms, jack cheese inside a large crepe, served with best best home fries i’ve ever tasted!

Google
Food was divine especially the cinnamon butter for those fluffy pancakes! Eggs Benedict was good too. The stuffed French toast though! You really can’t go wrong but it is a little pricey

I have been going here for years now, and it never gets old. This is one of those true 5/5 restaurants for me. The brunch here is PHENOMENAL, I've never had a complaint about the food here, and it always comes out quick, hot, and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Egg Benedicts (pulled pork and salmon), French Toast, and my recent favorite, the buttermilk pancakes (so fluffy and perfectly made). The potatos are always crispy and well seasoned, and my gf absolutely loves the bacon (with 0 regard to my bank account). The inside seating is nice but we usually sit outside when the sun is out. I love introducing people to this location it's one of my absolute favorites. Stop reading this review and just GO! (Food is a tinnyyy bit pricy but it's so worth it for the flavor/portion/service/ etc.)

Yelp
===TL;DR=== - Del Mar crepe - Farmers omelette - Cafe latte - vanilla ===TMI=== I just want to gate-keep this place but they're too good not to share! Tucked away in the middle of the residential area.... Ok maybe not tucked away but it's a hole-in-the-wall place for me! They looked so busy on the weekend but the wait was quick. They offer inside and outside seatings. Let me tell you how quick they act... the moment you sit down, a server is ready to take orders so I'd suggest you come prepared! This way also helps them crunch orders out quicker. If you're not ready, they're gonna give you a scolding! Haha just kidding, they're super friendly and have great energy all around. Le food - When they married crab cakes and crepe together... uh, what a dream. Chefs kiss! It was so delicious and they do not skim out on the proportion. I love how they executed their breakfast potatoes too... they're sliced but get chunked up when they get grilled into the perfect crispness on the outside and soft on the inside - brilliant! Omelette was also amazing, can never go wrong with an omelette. Thoroughly enjoyed my huge glass of coffee. Be prepared to leave this place with a food coma! Loving the neighborhoods vibes they project.

Yelp
We came to this restaurant based on the high reviews and pictures of the food since the menu offered Gluten Free pancakes for our friend that was visiting from Spain is celiac. We were greeted by a friendly boast that engaged with us in conversation. The waitress was super friendly as well. The bad experience occurred when we received our food. Our friend ordered Benedict eggs which come with hollandaise sauce. She realized there was a sauce and asked if it had lactose since she is also sensible to lactose. The server didn't know and said would ask the chef to make sure. The gentleman that came out was a confrontational with his approach and asked why something was ordered if she knew of her allergies. We said she didn't know what hollandaise sauce was and thought it was a way eggs are cooked. We explained this to him but he was not having it. We told him we wanted the same thing without the eggs and offered to pay for the plate and take it to go and to remake the same thing without the sauce and would pay for that one too. I explained to him that I don't eat eggs so I was not able to advise her and that she didn't know what that was. He said that doesn't matter that she should know what to order if she has food allergies. He took the plate back inside. A new plate came promptly. We asked the server to place the original order to go as my husband would have it for lunch and told him the gentleman was rude. He said that was the Owner!! What?! We were shocked he would behave that way considering it's a family owned business! We try to support small businesses when we travel and have always had great experiences. The sever came back and said there would be no charge for the original plate. I suppose the owner changed his mind in the kitchen, who knows. We did enjoy our meal, the food, host and server/waitress were exceptional. Just not the confrontation with the owner. We did tip because the rest of the staff is not responsible for the owner's behavior and the food was good.

Yelp
I really like Doyle Street Cafe. And I LOVE their parklet (as someone who takes aerosol disease transmission seriously). I also love that you can sign up for the waiting list online. The staff is wonderful. The owners are so hospitable. And the food is yummy. I DO wish they had better coffee. I think someone should go to barista training or something. Their coffee and espresso beverages are sub par. (Sorry to say.) So, it's not the place to grab a latte to go. Sadly, since Moomie's shuttered, Emeryville lacks a good coffee place. Peet's in the Public Market is fine, but I long for a High Wire or Artis or State's. But, to be clear, I love that Doyle Street Cafe continues to thrive and Emeryville is grateful for them.

Yelp
Walt from Walt's Adventures reporting in from Doyle Street Cafe in Emeryville, California. Even though the name is this eatery is simplistic being that the cafe is on Doyle Street, I assure you that this restaurant rises far beyond the nature of its namesake. Our party arrived and were immediately directed to their outdoor dining area. We ordered and I was amazed at how swiftly our orders arrived. It was clear to me that the cafe knew what they were doing. All of our selections had great presentations and soon after, it occurred to me that our chef happened to be a master at their craft. The taste of our dishes match their look to perfection. I regret awarding the cafe minus 1 star for the outside area lacked heating elements and only street parking seemed available. Besides these nitpicking variables, the Doyle Street Cafe is a hidden gem in Emeryville and one that I look forward to returning sometime in the near future

Yelp
Haven't eaten here in years and the quality of food is still there. Love that. This time I tried the pancakes (which is something I haven't had) and they hit the spot. Omg so yummy! Like everything I could dream of in a pancake -- they had it. Also the service was great I told them I was on the waitlist via Yelp and they got us seated in 5 minutes. Which was awesome cause it was a bit crowded

Tiffany M.

Yelp
I enjoyed my breakfast. Food was good and attentive service. Nice breakfast selection and I would definitely return. And priced fairly. I had the 2 egg breakfast with potatoes. I love how fresh and hot my food was. Over easy eggs were perfect and the potatoes were thinly sliced and nicely crisped.

Deondre J.

Yelp
The food was good! I would recommend getting there early. On a nice day, you'll be waiting for a bit, and parking in the neighborhood will not be easy when it's a warm day. Overall, I would go back again! The mimosas were spot on, the service was fast, and the staff was very nice. It definitely gave dinner vibes.

Maribeth A.

Yelp
love this place! friends and i met up here for a catch up session and only found this gem through Yelp as a halfway point between the peninsula and east bay. the place was clean and spacious. the servers were pleasant and the food was delicious! i had the farmer and the hollandaise sauce was a perfect added touch.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped by here for some brunch on a weekend. We expected to have a long wait as it was brunch time & typically brunch spots around the area are pretty busy. After the waiter puts our name on the waitlist, we waited approx 15 mins until our table was ready. Our waitress was very attentive once we sat down, she would come by often to make sure everything was okay throughout our meal :) We had ordered a side of crab cakes, the ranchero omelette w/ chicken chorizo sausage and a smoked salmon Benedict. Everything came out at once but the food was still warm, hot and crispy! The crab cakes came with this chipotle aioli sauce on a bed of spinach. They give you two and although a bit smaller than I expected, packed a lot of flavor. You can taste the other flavors and spice they added but the flavor of the crab still came through a lot. I would recommend it if you ever stop by. The ranchero omelette was pretty filling and was loaded with yummy ingredients. This was served with their style of potatoes which was sliced thinly but still pretty crispy and their corn bread. Usually I'm not a fan of most cornbread, but here, it was light, fluffy moist but was very cinnamon-y. Def enjoyed it. I feel like you can't go wrong with a smoked salmon Benedict. On a fluffy thick piece of English muffin, they have a large pieces of smoked salmon topped with poached eggs and their hollandaise sauce. It was yummy. Just when you thought the food was good, parking is good too. The restaurant has a separate lot for their customers so you'll be able to find good easy free parking if you arrive at a reasonable time. There are some street parking that is open hut I like the fact that this place has a lot just for their customers making it super easy. So please come try this spot out if you're in the area. This is our new spot whenever we want brunch :)

Yelp
This is a very popular restaurant that is worth the wait to get a table. I recommend doing a check in on Yelp to get on the waitlist. Service was efficient. There is a variety of menu items for breakfast. The special of the day, Lemon ricotta pancake with apple sausage was a simple taste. The California eggs Benedict could have been better if the poached egg was not over-cooked. I would give the chai latte a 5 star plus for the spice flavor. Noise level was very high and energetic as all tables inside were filled. There were lovely row of tables on the sidewalk but too cold for us to dine outside as there are no heat lamps. There is a small parking lot for the cafe across the street.

Delilah B.

Yelp
Doyle Street Cafe is a solid brunch place to go with good food and creative a good coffee drinks. I love their blue corn pancakes, though I believe they only have them during the week. The matcha green tea latte is very good.

Miss F.

Yelp
Dee-licious! Had a fresh and filling breakfast on a rainy day. Chicken chorizo omelette with potatoes and cornbread. Quick friendly service. Clean and cutely furnished dining room. Price point was good given rising food prices and the costs of running a business in the Bay Area. I'll be back.

Jhermanie W.

Yelp
I hadn't been hear in years and the food was just as good as I remembered. I stopped in on a Sunday midday and it was busy as expected. I put my name on the Yelp waitlist and waited outside until my table was ready...about 20 mins. Once seated I ordered a decaf americano (recommended by my waitress) to warm up, then quickly realized I couldn't pick between sweet and savory breakfast, so I ordered both. I had the Home Fries Heaven with bacon plus a single pancake. Food came out quick and hot! The home fries were savory and cheesy, the eggs perfectly scrambled and the salsa added the right amount of acidity and a hit of spice. The pancake was served with cinnamon butter and syrup...the combo of both made it very sweet (I'll probably opt for salted butter next time). The portions were plentiful and it was way too much for me so I recommend sharing. I did also want to note that I appreciated not being rushed as I sat at the table a long while since I ran into a friend while inside. The waitress checked on us a few times and refilled our beverages as needed. All in all a great morning with great food and great service!

Lety G.

Yelp
Three words, blue corn pancakes! Doyle Street Cafe is such a gem. However it's gets BUSY and parking can be a bit scare so just heads up on that. They have a waitlist via Google which is great. Once we arrived at the cafe I checked in and within 5 mins we were seated. Our served came to us right away and took our drink order. Back to the pancakes, they have gluten free blue corn pancakes on the menu and they are delicious. Super light and full of flavor. They come topped with a generous scoop of butter and hot syrup on the side. Absolutely delicious, o would come back again and again just for those pancakes! You can also make it a combo and add a protein to it. The servers are super nice, constantly checking in on what we needed and how we were doing. Such a wonderful place for brunch.

Gabriel H.

Yelp
The food was good and the potatoes I usually prefer more hard/crisp but still was tasty...I didn't appreciate where I seating was and at one point the manager propped up the door which didn't help but when one of the people table suggested they closed, they obliged. The place was. Medium in tone and everyone enjoyed the food the waiters were nice. I would go back

Kaitlin K.

Yelp
Excellent hidden brunch spot. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a surprisingly large amount available. There is street parking but we had to park a couple blocks away. The food was really great! The blue corn pancakes were sort of like a cornbread pancake hybrid and the butter and maple syrup complimented very well. The eggs Benedict had a really good sauce. All the breakfast sandwiches had really delicious bread and it seems either homemade or very freshly made. Will definitely be back. You can add yourself to the virtual waitlist on their website but there is so much seating that in the time we were there people waited five minutes or less.

Bonnie S.

Yelp
We really liked Doyle street cafe! The service was overall friendly and food was really good. The only downside was we came here with a stroller and it doesn't seem like the staff really knew what to do with that. They seated us at a table that didn't really allow us to sit next to the stroller. Our baby is young enough that she needs to stay in the car seat so having the stroller next to us while dining makes the most sense. They came by saying that that configuration would not work (even though the table across has a seat into the hallway in the same way...). They suggested putting the stroller on the opposite side of us which doesn't work at all. The staff clearly has no idea how it actually work with babies this young...We end up having to take turns holding the baby while we eat. Not the most baby friendly place unfortunately. Would we come back? Maybe when our baby is old enough for a high chair?

Kelly A.

Yelp
started the day right visiting Doyle Street Cafe for brunch!! there's a large variety of American classic breakfast as well as lunch options to choose from and we weren't disappointed by anything we got. left feeling full and satisfied by their scramble, stuffed french toast, and salad. so many other dishes that I want to go back to try! they were friendly and helpful and the vibes were really cozy and calming. great experience!

Miranda T.

Yelp
An excellent brunch spot! My boyfriend and I came here around noon on Friday and got a table outside because the weather was lovely. The place was pretty busy but there's ample seating indoors and outdoors so we had no trouble getting a table. The ambiance was cozy and casual and made for the perfect brunch environment. We got the ultimate benedict and joes special scramble. The portions were quite generous and the food was delicious. The cornbread was especially unique and tasty! They were also very accommodating as I requested egg whites and no cheese on my scramble.

Neil G.

Yelp
This is the place! Great food, wonderful service, terrific atmosphere. Albert was super hospitable, making us feel welcome, and allowing us to visit with our cousins in a relaxed way.The food is terrific, too. We've been going here for years- it never disappoints!

Frederick P.

Yelp
Great breakfast and brunch spot. Great service great food just great all around. The patio is nice, but they also have indoor seating.

Lili M.

Yelp
Doyle St. Cafe is a longtime fave of our family. The ambiance is suitable for any patron, young and old, which is so nice with a couple of kids! The staff is VERY sweet and friendly. This and the portions makes us want to drive out to Emeryville all the time with family. The menu mostly focuses on breakfast items such as 4 different kind of Benedicts, French toast, eggs any style, etc. There are lunch items such as big salads, burgers, sandwiches and quesadillas. I will point out that if you order a breakfast dish that comes with potatoes, the potatoes are more of a scalloped style and not home fries. If you'd like to substitute that, just make sure to ask. The best item I've ever had: THE CALIFORNIA BENEDICT! You MUST, I repeat, MUST get it and try it. It is so delicious and packs a nice punch in one bite! Other faves are the Eggs Milan, French Toast filled with mascarpone, and Huevos Rancheros. They also have alcoholic drinks here. There are berts on tap and yummy cocktails such as a house Bloody Mary, jalapeño Bloody Mary (delish), and a yuzu screwdriver along with an array of mimosa choices. You are not able to make reservations online. The business works on a first come, first serve basis, so wait times can be a little long (30 minutes to an hour on a busy day). There is a parking lot available, but it does fill up quickly and then there's street parking. I'd suggest carpooling with family if you can!

ChaCha S.

Yelp
Food: blue corn pancakes (weird strange aftertaste. Almost like a hazelnut extract type of aftertaste. Very overpowering.) Texture was thin and crumbly. Not sure why they didn't hold together but it was not a pleasant experience. Matcha: comes in a pre-made, presweetened mix. If you love matcha that's all you need to know. I, of course, did not order a full and had a sample because it is super easy to make. Sample tasted like ice cream. Not for the purist lol Homefries: sliced scallop style but thin. Flavor was that of the oil they cooked it in. Pretty unbearable. I added tapatio for salt and flavor. Did not redeem. Not worth the calories to taste potatoes and oil with a few crunchy pieces. Service: decent. Nothing bad took place but when I asked to send back the pancakes due to the weird aftertaste. It might be that too much. Baking soda was added because I've tasted that aftertaste with pancakes batters that had too much baking soda. Anyways the server who was a tall cute Asian girl with glasses said "ohhh...that's how we make them." And I was like oh? Okay well I'm telling you they have a weird aftertaste and I cannot eat them. "Ohhh okay. Well I'm sorry. Yeah that is how we make them unfortunately. Anything else you guys need" (she started walking away. So I said "can you please take these back? I'm not going to eat them." Then she finally laid it on me "okay I can take them but I can't take them off the check." I almost laughed because...wtf? I took two bites and there's a full stack in front of me. So I politely said. You will take them off because I cannot eat them and I have no desire to pay for them. She then kindly said she would talk to her manager. I wanted to send the crab cakes back too but didn't want to cause more of an issue. The crab cakes were decent but they tasted like they might be imitation and just lacked any good flavor. Overall everything is bland and very much diner level food taste wise. You can taste the oils being used. The chai and matcha are premixed below basic offerings. It's a hipster style place with unimaginative food creations for those who love delicious flavors and components when they spend money on a meal. Not sure what all the positive reviews signify other than the average human will eat anything. 2 stars because I'm not a monster but I wouldn't eat here again if I was paid to.

Elaine tango

Yelp
Great coffee and eggs Benedict. Good service pleasant atmosphere. The salmon salad was excellent.

Sheila N.

Yelp
Food is solid. I've been here twice and gotten the same thing. First time I came here, I ordered Prawn and avocado salad and 1 order of French toast. But they were missing my avocado. Second time, I came here, ordered the same thing but I asked for half order but they as given full order of french toast. Nonetheless, food was delicious and service was great. Will come back and try other things next time.

Carolyn H.

Yelp
Good good, service was good and fast and the ambiance was good. I would request a Conor seat away from the door it was very cold however the staff tried to accommodate me. I will recommend and go back soon .

Carlina W.

Yelp
This cafe has plenty of seating and good food. Great amount of parking as well. Great place to have a meeting.

Gina G.

Yelp
Finding the perfect brunch spot when family is visiting can sometimes be tricky to hit the mark for what everyone's tastebuds are feeling, but Doyle Street Cafe nails it every time! I'm always on the hunt for brunch spots in the East Bay, and recently was told about Doyle Street in Emeryville. I'd like to say it's a hidden gem, but based on the lines outside during the holidays (you can check into the waitlist via Yelp ahead of time!), I think the cat may be out of the bag. Open just for breakfast/brunch/lunch Monday-Sunday from 8:30a-2:00p, that's just enough time to sit back, relax and enjoy everything Doyle Street has to offer. From excellent service to the mugs they use for their piping hot coffee (I love a good coffee mug), highlights have included their organic buckwheat pancakes and organic blue corn hot cakes, deliciously creamy Benedict options, and honestly anything from the omelette/scrambles. Two things that stand out besides the hearty, fresh and wallet friendly portions, are their amazing breakfast potatoes and homemade, whipped honey cinnamon butter. The potatoes remind me of the type of comforting scallop potatoes you hope your Aunt brings you a separate container of for Thanksgiving. They truly keep me coming back & are unlike any others I've tried in the East Bay..and I've tried a lot of potato variations! And as for the butter, you will have to make it in to give that one a try..may or may not have taken a side to go :) With a nice parking section dedicated to the restaurant across the street, Doyle is convenient, charming and worth the drive over from start to finished plate. They also serve brunch cocktails & have an enticing salad/sandwich menu I would love to come back for. Looking forward to exploring Emeryville's best kept spots more often!

Wai L.

Yelp
Delightful family run brunch spot with great food and abundant outdoor seating. Brother of the owner is friendly and gives great recommendations. The breakfast burrito is incredible. The iced latte was kind of watery so I would stick to the straight coffee next time. Everybody loved the French toast. Would def come back. Weekend crowds start building up after 11 am. You've been warned.

Joel A.

Yelp
We ate there three times in one week. That should be enough to tell you that we liked it. Out of the 12 different dishes that we tried, O one was better than the next. (The egg dish with smoked salmon was a little salty, but I had asked them to go light on the cream cheese.) Service was friendly and efficient. Jazz was always playing in the background. People line up to get into this place.

Mark A.

Yelp
A nearly perfect spot for brunch nestled into a side street in Emeryville. The portions are large, the service is prompt and the food is absolutely delicious. They have a cute little dining area and an absolutely massive outdoor seating area out front in a park let. My one slam would be the coffee was laughably bad. It was extremely bitter and reminded me of something you'd get from a bodega in NYC.

Sheree W.

Yelp
Love a place that allows you to join the wait line and that's exactly what we did. So by the time we arrived we were ready to be seated by passing all the other people waiting. Our server came right over and suggested things on the menu since it was my first time. The menu offered very good options, I'm pretty sure you will find something you want. They also offer turkey sausage to go in your scrambles/omelettes which for me being from the Midwest I found that to be a nice treat. The food was good, flavorful and I'll be back when in the area.

Erica R.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Had the home fries special with bacon and my wife has the shrimp salad. They were both very tasty! We've been coming here for 10 years now and it never gets old or disappoints. Service is quick and everyone's very friendly.

Emily R.

Yelp
Great experience overall! The servers were friendly, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. The smoked salmon benedict was easily one of the best I've had--the fluffy English muffin was a nice twist. The French toast tasted like a cinnamon bun, and the huevos rancheros with pulled pork were well-balanced. Even the pumpkin spice latte was impressive, with the large cup size, I was still able to taste the coffee. Solid spot--I'll definitely be back!

Tera K.

Yelp
The service was super attentive when my friend and I showed up last Wednesday. We were asked how our meal was and then we were ignored for what felt like forever. It was surprising since it was the height of the lunch service. In the end, we got our check from the busser and not our server. My turkey club had a great aioli on it but I wasn't impressed with the turkey. I could have used the same sliced cold cuts and made this sando for less money on my own. Also, the fries weren't seasoned at all and they were cold when served. I would not go back.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
What a fantastic spot for brunch! We came on a Saturday at what I felt was pretty peak brunch time and expected a decent wait given the groups we saw standing milling around the front entrance. We put our names down and were going to walk around the neighborhood to kill time but after walking maybe a block and a half we got a text our table was ready! It definitely gets crowded on the weekend for brunch but because of all the indoor/outdoor seating I think there's a decent amount of turnover so don't let the crowds scare you away. California Benedict was super tasty! The crabcakes weren't all breading and I could actually taste the crab! Usually when I get crabcakes at a restaurant they leave a little something to be desired for the price. Pancakes were the perfect amount of fluffy. My cafe au lait hit the spot. Portion sizing was generous and we left with full happy tummies. What a great way to start the weekend off!

Kelly M.

Yelp
Came back to Doyle Street Cafe and they updated their menu (and prices!). It's tonight to say that the French toast does not make you say oui oui anymore. It was dry and flavorless. Not even a brioche bread anymore. The bacon was half cooked and cold. It seemed like the server was covering a lot of ground and wasn't as personable as they have been before. I'd probably go somewhere else before coming back here.

Bay C.

Yelp
Cute cafe in Emeryville. Gets packed. The two stars is due to the very few identified vegan items on the menu. Consider a vegan tofu scramble and some fresh veggies. I had to stick with a fruit cup and potatoes due to no other options

Marcus G.

Yelp
I was waiting for 30 minutes and they took me of the list customer service was very horrible

Erica T.

Yelp
On Sundays, we brunch even during football season. My task was to find a brunch location where I had not done that before. So I did what we all do. I went to Yelp and typed in the word brunch and Dole St., Café popped up. Since it was an Emeryville in a quaint neighborhood with your very own parking lot. That was a plus. To my surprise, we were seated promptly. We had an option to either dine indoors or outdoors on their patio. We decided patio dining would be best. The weight staff was cordial and eager to make suggestions on the menu. I started with the spicy jalapeño bloody Mary, just the right amount of spice and ice. My dinner companion decided to do the Arnold Palmer, which does not come with refills. I ordered the brioche French toast with a side of fresh berries along With Chicken apple sausage my meal was delightful. I didn't leave a crumb. The brioche portion was spot on crème de la crème is the feeling I was left with my dinner companion ordered the corn beef hash with extra jalapeños, which comes with a side of a fluffy slice of cornbread. In short, we are looking to return I will order something different this time I would love to try their stack of buttermilk pancakes. My eating companion stated they would not order the corn beef hash, in the future, anyone who reads my post knows that most likely, I do judge restaurants by the bathroom 2, the dessert menu 2, and the weight of the silverware 2. None of those items were top-notch, but the food and the customer service made up for the lack of what I was looking for. Will we return yes!

Viviane K.

Yelp
Wonderful brunch spot! Their California Benedict was absolutely amazing with crab cakes and best potatoes ever. Latte was comparable to coffee shop and service was amazing. Not to mention private lot to park across street and really clean bathrooms!

Yelp
I met a few friends at this restaurant to have a business breakfast meeting. The place was packed but had a lot of seating. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I ordered the smoked chicken chorizo scrambler. The scrambler comes with mushroom, green onion, shredded cheese with scrambled eggs. The scrambler came with cornbread. The chicken was smoked and seasoned to perfection. The chorizo was very flavorful and a great addition to the scrambler. The mushrooms, green onions and cheese was the perfect combination to go with the meats and eggs. The cornbread was soft and very delicious. The meal came with potatoes and the potatoes were very good. The ambiance was very customer friendly. This is a great place to go for brunch.

Yelp
Saturday, 2023/10/07 12:30 delicious eggs Benedict and French toast - a little pricy - decor and atmosphere feels like a mom-and-pop shop - servers were friendly and conversational - we got on the waitlist ahead of time and waited around 10 minutes after arriving there CLASSIC EGGS BENEDICT ($19.00): poached eggs, ham, English muffin, hollandaise, served with a side of blueberries and strawberries - I substituted the breakfast potatoes with fruit for free - ham was salty - hollandaise was bright and zesty - overall a very well done classic eggs Benedict FRENCH TOAST ($10.95): fluffy bread dipped in cinnamon vanilla cream batter, griddled, and served with whipped honey cinnamon butter, maple syrup, and powdered sugar - half order came with 3 thick half-slices - texture was so fluffy! - maple syrup was unnecessary for me - honey cinnamon butter was delicious PULLED PORK BENEDICT ($21.00): poached eggs, pulled pork, pica de gallo, English muffin, hollandaise, served with breakfast potatoes - I didn't try the eggs Benedict - breakfast potatoes were super flavorful, if a little oily; I really liked the more crispy pieces MATCHA GREEN TEA LATTE ($5.95 + $0.50): pre-sweetened matcha mix with soy milk, iced - this was just okay; I wouldn't recommend coming here for their matcha

Yelp
This place checks all the boxes - decadent food, ample seating both inside and outside (makes the long lines move fast!), parking lot (fills up quick but there's street parking too), fast service, and did I mention , amazing food? Can't dine here without trying their buttermilk pancakes. I've also enjoyed several versions of their Benedict! They've also got a full coffee bar.

Yelp
Such a brunch gem! Took my son for 21st bday brunch and everything from staff to stuffed French toast was amazing. Highly recommend the crab cakes and home fries. Husband said Bloody Mary was best he's ever had. Also great to have outdoor seating option as we always prefer to eat outside even when it's cooler outside. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
One of the best brunches in the area! We ordered delivery and it came well-seperated into enough containers to keep things tasty and fresh. The wet breakfast burrito was excellent! The green sauce was super flavorful and came in its own container. The burrito itself was super full of ingredients that were well distributed. The potatoes on the side were kind of scalloped and nicely seasoned and a bit greasy (in a good way!). The home fries heaven with bacon was HUGE! It was a giant pile of breakfast stuff and the bacon was nicely cooked and chopped into pieces. We're definitely adding this place to our standard rotation of local brunch spots!

Yelp
I usually avoid eating breakfast/brunch as I find the markups absolutely ludicrous, but Doyle Street Café is the exception to this. I came here with a friend on Sunday morning, and was able to get the last parking spot in their lot! We were seated immediately, and the server kindly explained everything on the menu. I ended up settling on the crab cake benedict and my friend got the French toast. The crab cake benedict was absolutely amazing. Packed to the brim with crab, creamy avocado, a perfectly cooked egg, the hollandaise sauce, and the crispy muffin underneath it all made for the perfect bite. I also ordered a side of hashbrowns which were perfectly salted and crispy. Would 100% recommend ordering this dish if you love eggs benedict! I took a bite of my friend's French toast, and as someone who isn't usually keen on French toast, even I had to admit that it was good. The cinnamon butter (?) they included was rich, creamy, and perfectly complemented the toast. Great service, great atmosphere, and decent prices. Would come back!
