"You can get sashimi, nigiri, tempura, and signature maki rolls delivered from this Kensington sushi spot straight to your door. Order here." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Dozo is a great option if you’re looking to get something light before heading into the park. The sushi at this Japanese spot in South Kensington is good-quality and the rolls are fun. Be warned that it gets packed at lunchtime, so our move would be to get some rolls to go, and eat them in the park. " - Rianne Shlebak, Sinead Cranna
"Much like people who honour pinky promises, decent, everyday sushi spots are hard to come by in London. That's why Dozo Sushi is worth knowing about. It’s a popular walk-in only restaurant that does the usual sushi, sashimi, temaki, and maki rolls. The ‘dozo’ rolls are good too, but if you’re after an affordable dinner, you should stick to the regular maki. You could come here with a group of friends, order a bunch of rolls and leave £25 lighter, but the dim lighting and intimate sunken seats make it a perfect midweek date night situation. If you manage to score the window seat then you’re not going to want to leave because you’ll be enjoying the excellent £9 soft shell crab maki, while watching the Soho bustle from the best seats in the house. And if whoever you’re with isn’t into sushi, they also serve ramen noodles, donburi, and robata skewers." - Rianne Shlebak
"A shower, series binging, your somewhat showered flatmates, and sushi. Throw in some wine and you’ve got yourself a party. Kensington’s Dozo Sushi can take care of the food - with sashimi, nigiri, tempura, and their signature maki rolls delivered straight to your front door." - Heidi Lauth Beasley, Jake Oliver
"You‘ve been mesmerised by Hope’s skeleton at the Natural History Museum for about 12 whole minutes now, but instead of thinking of practical ways to save the planet, you’re thinking about sushi. Luckily, nearby spot Dozo does half decent sushi and fun rolls at a reasonable price. The £7.90 lunch menu covers everything from ramen to sushi, which keeps it very busy in here, so if you want to get a seat, turn up early. You may not be saving the planet this time, but at least you’ll be saving a few pennies." - Heidi Lauth Beasley, Jake Oliver, Eileen Twum
