Dozzino is a true gem in Hoboken, serving up outstanding pizzas with top-quality ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The dough is light, airy, and beautifully charred. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere and commitment to simple, authentic Italian flavors make this spot a must-visit. Whether you’re a pizza purist or love creative combinations, Dozzino delivers an exceptional meal every time. Highly recommend and incredible value.

Google
The most authentic experience to Italy you can get. Reminds me of my favorite pizzeria in Italy. Get the Caesar salad too — it’s the best!

Went to Dozzino with some friends, and everyone loved it!!! They have a large patio in the back, and a few tables in the front. The patio tends to be very popular, so you might have to wait a bit for a table there. The pizzas were really good, we really liked the Bianco and the Guanciale. Make sure you add the Pizza Crunch (mix of garlic, chili oil. It tastes so good, and it's not very hot). We also tried a few of the appetizers, and we really liked the fried zucchini and the suppli (rice balls). The mascarpone ice cream is also SO good!! Definitely worth a visit.

Google
When I went to pickup my order, the server immediately coughed on his hand then touched my takeout order. I ordered an item (meatballs) that needed utensils, and they had no takeout utensils. Also, the pizza wasn’t even sliced, I was shocked. Never been to a pizza place that didn’t at least cut the pizza into slices. And there was also a human hair in my pizza box. The food itself wasn’t impressive either. It cost altogether over $30. Just an embarrassment.

Google
Excellent pizzas. Thin crust. Not too cheesy. Pasta was great too. Service was attentive and courteous. Fantastic patio at the back.

Google
Fantastic Roman style pizza! We had the supplì (Roman rice balls) appetizer and fresh ricotta with honey, as well as 2 pizza. Did not disappoint! Specials change daily it looks like. Atmosphere is casual family friendly. Looks like a great place to have an event in the back.

Trevor Darling

Google
Nice little spot with good pizza and quick service, also BYOB. The “honey” and “spicy pepperoni” pizza stood out among all ordered (“la pizza” pictured) and all had a fluffy chewy crust. Many had basil listed as an ingredient and no basil to be seen; would have helped complete the package on some of the pies (BYOBasil?). Sauce is somewhat bitter and overall the flavors fell somewhat flat. Worth a try, could easily be someone’s favorite with a slightly different taste preference.

Google
Good, not great. Service was slow. They were out of multiple dishes, including sausage. Had to ask for utensils and cups a few times. Crust was excessively burned. Pizza was good, not the best. Food was also just warm, nothing was hot and sizzling which was disappointing.

Yelp
Loved this place! Local spot in Hoboken and really enjoyed the pizza and people. Small menu but everything you need

Yelp
Very good! I've been for dinner and actually hosted my birthday dinner last year here. Started off rocky lol they were suppose to seat my table of 10-12ppl in the back room but we were actually seated near the front door? OK.. all good! Then someone at the shop wouldn't let me hang a small happy birthday sign.. so we took it down! Then they were annoyed my friends decorated the table with confetti ha! Oh well! By the end of the evening the Dozzino team was friendly and even sent over a funny guy doing magic tricks? Overall the food was good! Ordered a bunch of salads, appetizers to share and pizza for the table! It's BYOB, so that makes it so easy too! Would recommend! Don't bring confetti or a sign though ;)

Yelp
This was my first time back at Dozzino's in awhile. To start off, we brought our own seltzers but they unfortunately did not have ice for the cups which I thought was a bit strange. Then we ordered meatballs and a salad which both were tasty. In terms of the pizzas, they definitely were not the same as the smaller personal style Neapolitan pizzas they used to have. Instead, they were much bigger which is nice for portion size but I feel like the quality has decreased since the last time I came. The sauce was on par, but for me there was just too much cheese. I ended up liking the meatballs the best out of everything.

Yelp
Awesome spot!! Owner was very accommodating for our group of 15. Great spot for a larger group, and the pizza is delicious!!! Will be back.

Yelp
Very nice and felt low key and inviting. The pizza was great and their Bianca pie was light and airy with a good crisp. The ricotta with honey really made their flavors pop. I'd come back during regular hours since I was here for my cousin's son's 1st birthday.

Yelp
Love Dozzino's pizza. Super fresh and always good! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Yelp
Hate to say it, but the place really went downhill. Used to come here often because it's one of the few restaurants in Hoboken you can get into on a weekend and they take reservations when most places don't. The pizza changed from round pies to rectangle and overall the pizzas ratio of dough to sauce/toppings was very off. I would take 3 bites of a slice and then just be left with a huge piece of crust. The calamari appetizer special was actually pretty good. Also, half the menu was crossed out with a sharpie marker. It was 6pm on a Saturday - why are they out of half the menu? Also a group walked in and the owner or manager was like yelling at them that they couldn't seat them - I personally thought his tone was very off putting and he wasn't even talking to my group. Probably wouldn't go back...

Jim B.

Yelp
Walked in this past Thursday food was exceptional. Spicy pepperoni pizza 5 stars. He made table a special oil with anchovy incredible. Then he treated us to zeppoli's.

Yelp
Dozzino offers a great indoor/outdoor spot for artisan style pizza. I've ate here about 3/4 times and they always have an interesting selection of pizzas. Their appetizers leave more to be desired, but you come here to enjoy a fresh pie in a relaxed setting. It is BYOB as well, which is always a plus. They keep the prices affordable while offering a good dining experience. I only wish their menu was a bit more extensive, but overall Dozzino is a good spot to check out.

E P.

Yelp
Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent all very fresh...we had the meatballs for appetizer and then 3 different pizza pies...peperoni, Bianco and garlic one...all good flavors and fresh ingredients... ambiance was good... had a cozy feel to it... you can bring your own wine too...

Yelp
This place wowed me! My boyfriend and I randomly stumbled upon it and I'm so glad we did. I love authentic pizza and this hit the spot. Our waiter was also very nice and accommodating with our questions. We will DEFINITELY be back and can't wait to try the other pies. Thank you so much!!

Yelp
Hadn't been to Dozzinos in ages so decided to pop in this past Friday. I made a reservation on resy but there was no need - it was dead inside and outside there on a Friday at 7:30 which was shocking but I guess because it's the summer, people may have been away. Inside they have some tables for two and then long communal tables which we sat at as 3. Their menu is pretty simple - they have a few starters and mostly pizzas. They also have specials daily. We started with the chicken parm which was considered a starter; it was 3 cutlets, no pasta. Was tasty. We split 3 pizzas as well - the spicy pepperoni, the umburto (red pie with roasted garlic) and the carbonara special pie. The pizzas were all good but the carbonara was our favorite. I remember their pizzas being smaller but they were a good size - 6 slices each. Dozzinos is byo but they apparently have no freezer which means they had no ice for our drinks; kinda a bummer. They also keep it pretty basic only using paper plates to eat on. They might want to consider having an ice box just for drinks. They also had no crushed red pepper or oregano for the pizza which was a let down too.

Amber S.

Yelp
Delicious pizza every time. Love bringing wine and sitting out in the garden area on a nice night.

Yelp
Had reservations at Dozzino for dinner last night with a few friends. They appeared to have a private party in the back room, but our table was still ready when we arrived. Both times I've been here (once before COVID), they are always out of something. I've read in other reviews that this is a regular occurrence. Right when we sat, the server told us the multiple apps and pizzas they were out of which I definitely appreciated, but I don't understand how they are constantly out of things on a relatively small (but delicious) menu. We shared the ricotta and honey, and meatballs followed by three pizzas - the Umberto (roasted garlic deliciousness), the Cipolla (caramelized onions and sopressata), and a special white pizza which chipotle peppers (SO spicy!). 3 stars because although the food was very good and they are BYOB, they're constantly out of things and service felt a little rushed.

Yelp
Skip Washington street -- best pizza is here at Dozzino. Meatballs, salad -- everything is so fresh, real, and delicious. Fav spot. Thanks guy.

Yelp
Dozzino used to be my favorite pizza place in town. Their food was always top notch but the past few times have been terrible. Today we decided to order from there and the fact that they thought it was ok to deliver this is crazy. BOTH pizzas were inedible, burnt and bitter. We took one bite and it was too bitter and Smokey to eat.

Yelp
Amazing pizza! The dough is cooked perfectly and the tomato sauce is fresh. Service is always great.

Yelp
We have been ordering takeout pies for about 6 months and can say we are fans. Dozzinos is my dude's favorite pizza in the JC/Hoboken area, and while it doesnt get my top spot it is in my top 5. Garlic pie (Umberto) is my absolute favorite pie here, the diavolo is my guys favorite. La pizza is a really good basic pizza. I ordered a white pie once but really didnt like it, so now I stick with the reds. They have a good $10 quarintine special which is awesome. Staff are always friendly and nice when ordering and picking up. Two peculiar aspects of takeout from here are 1. They dont use pizza boxes. You get the pizza in a bag with a cardboard cutout under the pie. 2. They dont cut the pizza into slices. These are two things I guess I have always taken for granted when ordering pizza.
google avatar

Yelp
Recently came here for outdoor dining and tried the pan pie. Wow, just wow. Can't wait to come back! Attached picture was from pre-COVID. Didn't care so much for the white pie but the meatball pie was amaze balls!

Yelp
Went for Dinner Food - 5/5. The spicy meatballs are super tender and have a really nice sauce. It has a hint of spice in it but mostly a deep smoky flavor that keeps it fresh with every bite. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal! The dough is beautiful with the perfect amount of elasticity that gives you a great bite but keeps it soft. The cured meats pair perfectly with the awesome dough. Cheese and sauce is delicious and is surprisingly from Australia and the United States respectively proving that anyone can produce amazing ingredients regardless of location or cultural background. Service - 4/5. Quick and friendly. The restaurant is very casual and the service reflects it. They give you a pizza cutter as both your pizza cutter and to lift your pizzas. Value - 5/5. The pizza go for about $14 for a personal pie which is a little above average but the pizza here is so good. The dough will really make you happy to have dined here making it worth every dollar. Awesome value! Parking - Street (Free)

Yelp
Dozzino's is a decent spot if you just want to chill with some friends & fam. The chalkboard walls, long wooden tables and the patio area create a nice ambience. As for the pizza...I would say it's just okay. The place sources locally fresh ingredients and learned that they don't have much fridge space. So upon our arrival at prime dinner time, we were notified that they were out of several dishes , including the meatball appetizer and some pizzas. Pizzas are smaller and pricier than what you typically find in Hoboken. We ordered the Hudson ($19) - which comes with spinach, artichoke, prosciutto and egg and the Roma ($14) with tomato and salami. It's personal preference, but I prefer a crispier crust. The Hudson pizza sounded interesting on the menu, but I found the pizza crust to be a bit too doughy for me and most of the veggies were burnt. It's also a sauceless pizza, so flavors on the Hudson were just okay. I much preferred the Roma with a traditional tomato base. Tip: It's BYOB! And they don't have ice. I guess in this case BYOI - bring your own ice

Yelp
Really good pizza and cute outdoor seating area! Garlic pizza was my favorite - they are a little oily though

Jennie N.

Yelp
Someone we met on vacation oversees heard that my husband and I were from Hoboken and suggested we visit Dozzino. Months lasted my husband and I decided to go here since it was such a warm, beautiful night in the summer. The city backyard garden area is beautiful and charming (even if there are a few mosquitos! bring or wear bug spray). The highlight was definitely the pizza which is made of high quality, pull apart fluffy dough. We weren't that hungry at first so we only ordered one pizza which we definitely regretted! Get their homemade ranch sauce -- adds a nice kick with each bite of pizza.

Yelp
I'm happy that others had good experiences here but we did not, unfortunately. Service is great! The guys were very nice, helpful, and honest. We ordered the meatballs and the Johnny Bismark pizza. I'll start with the pros. Service was great. I appreciate that they don't have a freezer, so everything has to be fresh. Food came out in a timely manner. Water was cold. Food came out warm. Meatballs are bite size. Tomato sauce is homemade. Parm on top was a nice touch. Now the cons. Meatballs had a strange taste and were dry and hard. Maybe too much breadcrumbs. The tomato sauce didn't have much flavor. I'd add garlic and herbs to make it more robust. Small for $14. They're overpriced. We asked if we could get extra sauce for the meatballs and we were told no since they only make enough for serving the meatballs. Also disappointing. The Johnny Bismark pizza has their own fresh made mutz, prosciutto and one tiny egg. The prosciutto was cooked, horrible. I wish they would cook the pizza and then add prosciutto after. It's better that way. Disappointed. I think it may have been a quail egg? Or it was a super small chicken egg. My boyfriend was afraid to eat it since the egg white wasn't fully cooked. The yolk was okay. I wish there was more than one tiny egg if we're paying $19 for this pie. It didn't make sense on the pizza. Minimal prosciutto too. This pizza is so not worth it. The crust was soft and chewy. Would have been better if it were cooked a little longer. They also make you cut the pizza yourself. Worse yet, my boyfriend and I got sick later and we both vomited the meatballs. :( Needless to say, we will not be returning here.

Yelp
This is definitely some solid pizza in the Hoboken area. I like how it's off the beaten path...aka off Washington street. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area which are both cute and quaint. The outdoor area is beautiful on a spring or summer evening but be warned, there is usually a wait for this. It is a BYOB which is a major plus as well. They offer a variety of salads and small apps for sharing and several different types of pizza. My friend and I started with an order of zucchini flowers which were a special the evening we visited. WOW were these delicious! They were fresh and served piping hot. We ordered two pizzas to share as well. I think the most difficult thing about this restaurant is the fact they give you a pizza cutter to slice your own pizza lolol The pizzas are flavorful and the dough is light and airy, not dense at all. My favorite pizzas here are anything that comes with an egg on top. I love the runny yolk. The service can be a little slow but I appreciate how they aren't trying to rush you out the door! I will surely be back to Dozzino again.

Yelp
This place is awful! They ran out of dough on a Thursday night at 8pm. We did a reservation and made a trip especially here to try out and they failed to notify us that they cancelled our reservation. Also had this pizza delivered once. Delivery took 2 hours. Pizza was cold. They did not even deliver it in a box; instead it was on a piece of cardboard inside a bag that was open and left on the floor in front of my front door, easily accessible to dust, bugs, etc. Wish I had an option of giving this place 0 stars. Extremely poorly managed business.

Yelp
Dozzino is a perfect place to eat when your in the mood for some brick oven style pizza and want to sit in a pretty courtyard. The whole place has a cool laid back vibe. It's byob and the menu is relatively tiny. The pizza selections are decent and the combos they put together are super tasty. Service is good but may be a little slow on busy nights. The pizza dough is fluffy and chewy with big air bubbles (yaaas). I wouldnt call it the best Za in hoboken but Dozzino does not disappoint.

Annika A.

Yelp
Went here yesterday and while the pizza was good as was the ricotta but service was horrific. The staff was sitting around on barstools didn't welcome us in and then were going in and out to the liquor store sitting at the front drinking beers. Our pizza took about 40 minutes even though we were the only people there. What I assume is the manager finally brought the check and said sorry for the bad service yet he was apart of the issue. Really disappointing because the pizza was good.
google avatar

Yelp
Went early on Thurs around 5:30pm. Nice little place - we sat in the front room. Had meatballs special as an appetizer which was good but the pizza was outstanding. Great crust, flavorful sauce and thin sliced pepperoni. Perfecto on the pizza!

Yelp
I have lived in Hoboken for 10 years, and Dozzino has been one of my favorites since it opened. The wood fired pizza is hands down the best in town. Their "honey" pie and the roasted garlic one honestly make my mouth water just thinking about it. I've always loved the simplicity of the place- you can show up with a big group, a bunch of bottles of wine (BYOB!), and have a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. My last few visits have left me feeling a bit disappointed, though. I feel like Dozzino has dropped the ball a bit in terms of ambience-- their backyard isn't what it used to be - no more bocce court!! And the backyard isn't as well maintained as it used to be. The inside is always kind of deserted and the servers aren't as strong as they used to be. I'm so sad and I hope that someone from Dozzino reads this-- seriously , I am one of your biggest fans but I feel like you guys aren't making the most of your space and could totally make the vibe so much cuter!! Your backyard has so much potential!!! Also, maybe throw on some vibey music for inside dining so it doesn't feel as eerie and deserted when you're dining in there when it's slow. I'm rooting for you guys and I'm getting nervous seeing the place to desolate and slow lately. I think a few little tweaks could make things so much better :) Their pizza is still a 10/10, so don't hesitate to get takeout from here. And I guess if you go there to dine in person, just keep your expectations really really low.

Yelp
Best pizza in Hoboken . I love their margaritas with mushrooms and can't wait to visit again

Raina K.

Yelp
Love this spot. It has a charming vibe, very cozy and comfortable for both indoor and outdoor seating. Not to mention the food is wonderful, my 5th time coming back. The pizza comes warm, the pizza dough in my opinion is the showstopper. Crispy outside and soft bread on the inside. But everything about the pizza is good, hasn't disappointed yet and I don't think it will. Great place. Also it's byob!
google avatar

Penelope H.

Yelp
You'll find me at Dozzinos at least once a month with friends or my boyfriend in tow. I sometimes question why I'm paying so much for a singular bowl of olives, but I can't help myself! I'm constantly craving the Bianco, what can I say. Dozzinos has a perfectly hipster vibe, with bar side, dining room, and outdoor seating with adorable hanging lights. Don't forget the place is BYOB, and from my experience I've yet to get an ice bucket so either bring a nice red or ask to have your bottle kept in the fridge. Come early so they don't sell out. You won't be disappointed. See you there.
google avatar

Sidney D.

Yelp
Not sure how people could rate this place anything but 5 stars because I think this is one of the best spots in Hoboken. Firstly, the pizza is amazing and the place is BYOB. They have unique pizza specials and I like that they are personal sized so everyone can get what they want or you can try a bunch. Secondly, the ambience is amazing inside but even better, they have the best outside patio! Not sure how there is no pictures yet, I am going to add one. It has a beautiful tree with lights! It's a great date spot or place to hang with your friends, and the BYOB makes it easy on the wallet. One thing I would like to see is a much better appetizer menu, they barely have anything and my friends and I love to order starters and usually don't here because of the lack of choice. Amazing place overall!!
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to give this place a try recently as the reviews were good. We ordered the diavola and the cipolla pizza both with no meat. I definitely enjoyed the cipolla more but the diavola wasn't bad. The setup of the place is strange in the back and should be cleaned up instead of feeling as if your sitting with their storage items. This spot is small but has some outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Although the place was empty they made us sit in back with a large party and they were really loud which made it hard to talk amongst ourselves. Do note that they don't even have soft drinks at this place which I find truly odd beside some grape flavor Italian soda. How does a restaurant not provide soft drinks at least, especially a pizza joint?!?! So w/e your beverage of choice is, make sure you bring it or your stuck with tap water that they put into reused distill water labelled bottle.
google avatar

Mehmet K.

Yelp
This is honestly the best pizza I've had in the NYC area. I have a hard time understanding the 1 star reviews here: This is a popular restaurant and yes they have limited dough and cheese so they run out. Why is this a reason to give 1 star? Keep it up Dozzino, you are a true gem!

Andrea Kate D.

Yelp
Came here for a girls night with two friends and originally requested an outdoor table, but were told to sit all the way back right next to the shed of firewood that was crawling with bugs (note: the place was virtually empty, so plenty of seating elsewhere). We were given a menu, but half of the things were crossed out because they didn't have it. It was hot outside so we requested ice, but they didn't have any ice, so we asked if they could chill our wine, but this request was initially ignored. Because of the heat and the bugs that were eating at our ankles, we requested to sit inside. The waiter accommodated this, but also openly made fun of us for this to his colleagues, which was very rude (I don't think he meant for us to hear, but we did.) We got our order, but the waiter didn't check in with us for some time, and we had to serve ourselves to get plates for our shared meals. Once he noticed we had plates, he scolded us for having them. Saying "we don't provide large plates for our order" and that he had to "lay down the hammer" to make sure it "doesn't happen again." Strange. After that, never checked in with us for a long time until we flagged him for the check. He left us with the iPad to pay and then went outside to smoke, so we got up and left as soon as it confirmed payment. All in all, expected way better from this place. The food was pretty good but that is its only redeeming factor. The service was so horrible that it ruined it all.

Yelp
I made a reservation for 8 on Resy for Dozzino almost a week ago, and they cancelled on me about 3 hours before the reservation leaving me scrambling for somewhere else to take 8 people on a Saturday. Really disappointed.

Yelp
The pizza is good - not great. Like the brick oven taste of the crust. But it's a bit too doughy and chewy for my liking (personal preference others may like that). Tomato sauce was a bit strong relative to the rest of the flavors. Also note no substitutions regarding toppings. Real issue is Service - took about 40 minutes once we ordered to get pizza, and finding waiter for other questions or bill is difficult. Prices were fine, I'd return and try delivery also.

Talayah H.

Yelp
I didn't take any pictures of my pizza but both of our pizzas we got came out absolutely perfect and there was no burning at all! It was super tasty and the service is getting better. I'll be coming back again.

Yelp
Love their pizzas, all of them. Their ingredients are so fresh and I love how the crust is both crisp and doughy at the same time. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I've visited Dozzino a few months back and am still dreaming about the food. We shared two pizzas and meatballs with friends and they were exceptional! The tomato sauce in the pizza and meatballs was amazing. This place is also BYOB so feel free to bring a bottle with you. Honestly, I liked the pizza here better than Juliana's in DUMBO and cannot believe how Dozzino has a 3.5 star rating. Definitely give this neighborhood pizza place a try!

Kevin S.

Yelp
Had a reservation for 7pm on a Thursday night. Arrive for our reservation 5 minutes before and go to check in. We're told by the incredibly rude and smug worker that they sold out of pizza. Somehow a pizza place sells out of pizza in the middle of a Thursday night. At first we thought the smug, unapologetic worker was joking with us, but he says that he just sent out a note to us that our reservation had been canceled (this was at 6:58 pm for a 7:00 reservation). So we leave without any apology or remedy to the situation. I will NEVER be back here because of how rude the worker was, and it's a real shame because the food sounded delicious.

Yelp
What a great place. Can't believe I live 2 blocks away!!!! If you enjoy and more importantly "appreciate" good ingredients presented in a simple yet clean way then this is your place. Crostini(s) were tasty although some were a bit too crispy. We tried the classic Bruschetta and Garbanzino. For the pizza choice, we got the Umberto ( Garlic) so simple yet flavorful. We ended our meal with the MIND BLOWING Nutella + Mascarpone Crostini. It was served slightly cold but it was so creamy and flavorful !!!! Next time I gotta try the cured meats selection. They look super yummy !!!

Yelp
Wow, this was some seriously tasty 'za. Came in with a large group for a birthday dinner and this was the perfect pick. You can call ahead for a reservation, they have plenty of large tables, it's BYOB and the menu is easy to please. Definitely couldn't ask for more. Well, guess it would have been nice to enjoy their bocci courts in the backyard. Will have to come back over summer! The menu has a variety of small plates (salads, crostini, veggies, meatballs, etc) and then lots and lots of pizza options. They were out of a decent amount of the small plates, but luckily had a ton of mouthwatering special to make up for it. We started off with some bruschetta and ricotta crostini for the table. I wasn't a huge fan of the ricotta (weird texture, sort of looked and tasted like greek yogurt) but the bruschetta was excellent. The tomatoes were so fresh. For my main I ordered off the specials menu - brussels sprouts and pizza with ricotta, pepperoni and caramelized onions. The sprouts were incredible- perfectly crunchy and topped with parm cheese. Two orders came out on a large tray that could have easily fed our party of 10. The coal fired pizza was bomb. Thin, crispy and cheesy with a generous amount of toppings. Only complaint was that there was too much crust. Because the pizza isn't that big to begin with, we weren't left with a whole lot of pizza. Because of that, I'd suggest ordering a solo pizza, or getting at least one other thing if you are going to share. This was a great first trip and hopefully will not be my last time at Dozzino !

Yelp
I went into this restaurant a few years back, and did not have a great experience, but was willing to give them a try when a friend really wanted pizza and DiNapolis was booked solid. The meatballs were great - good size and sauce was delish. The pizza ... not so much. It's mainly crust with the stuff you wanted on it in the center. The crust was doughy and not cooked enough. We asked them to cook it more, but because we cut into it, they could not put back in the oven. They could have brought us another pizza made well done, but this was not an option. If you want good pizza in the backroads of Hoboken, I would suggest Flour Pizza (5th and Jeff) or 10th Street Pizza on Willow. Sorry Dozzino!

Yelp
Incredible everything about this place ! One can't explain how one bite can make a man so happy so ima let my boy continue this... Yo this is joeys boy wassuppppppp Dozzino is the reason why I wake up in the morning. The only time I've ever seen Joey so happy was when he found out that pornhub was free!!! Anyways if you don't like this place you're probably a loser or the Anti Christ

Yelp
Without doubt, one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Definitely the best we've found in Hoboken since moving here 4 months ago. The crust was amazing, crisp bottom, puffy edges with the perfect amount of chew. The flavors of the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were perfect. Still thinking about it the next day...

Yelp
I read Natalie's review who said that Dozzino's is for the Williamsburg crowd who ends up in Hoboken and wants pizza - or something to that effect - and completely agree. This business is more about the vibe it tries to give off rather than the food it serves. The food was sub par and easily in the bottom half or bottom quarter of Hoboken pizza places. Additionally, the service is inattentive to the point of almost non existent. It might as well be self serve since none of the staff seems to care about the customers There are plenty of other pizza joints with much better food and far better service
