Pretty good place, Authentic Korean BBQ. Very attentive staff, serving of food is just right. The side dishes are replenishable, which is a major plus. Do ask for lettuce if you need it because it wasn't served till requested. Overall, the only room for improvements is their exhaust system. The restaurant was filled with smoke from the BBQ, making you smell like cook charred meat after your meal. Price affordable & will not burn a hole in your pocket.

Great value for a traditional KBBQ spot in Temecula. Went with the Combo 1 deal where you get to choose 4 meat choices — great for a group of 2-4 people. We went with the sweet beef bulgolgi, New York strip, beef brisket, and Spicy pork shoulder. We just had two in our group and had to take some leftovers! You cook it yourself here too so make sure you have someone in your group that has decedent cooking abilities! Gets pretty smoky too so wear something you don’t mind getting smoked out. The service was friendly and the owner has such a great vibe! The banchan side dishes were good and overall good affordable place for KBBQ!

I joined some friends to try this place. I didn't know this restaurant had been here for at least 4 years. This restaurant is in the outdoor plaza right next to Temecula Promenade mall. There are lots of parking, so no need to worry about that. As for the food, I'm sorry to admit, but they were pre-ordered by my friends, so I didn't get to look at the menu much. It's one of those places where you pick the type of meat that you want and you grill it yourself at your table. I recommend the short ribs and the spicy beef (it wasn't that spicy-- which I like) . They serve you a lot of small size plates for appetizers and dips before hand. Customer service was great. They were all super friendly and they made sure you were taken care of. Being here for the first time, I don't know if they have precooked dishes. If not, I don't recommend this place if you're really hungry lol since you have to cook your own meat. One of the people from the restaurant came by with a small blow torch to help speed up the cooking. Lol. I was a little put off by the water container. I thought it was someone's personal container that had stickers. I saw that they give you a birthday dessert also. Overall, it's a cool place for a date or to hang out with friends/ family.

The owner alone would make you wanna keep coming back here. Hes full of energy and entertaining 😅 Meats are good quality, Sides are unlimited and they all taste good 👍 They are not an all you can eat type, but their #3 combo is good enough to feed 6 hungry folks 😋 The servers are very accommodating and helpful. Ambiance is good - the owner DJs the music playing 😅 Some of the things are weird - the trash bin they use when cleaning are for the outdoor ones that the trash truck picks up 🤪 But all in all, this place is worth the drive for us. 🫡

First time at this restaurant and really happy we ended up eating here. Service was great! Staff very friendly and helpful. Portions were more than expected. We even had leftovers. Meats are delicious and all the sides were tasty. We loved the flavors of the tofu soup. I would definitely come back again.

We stopped by this place on our way from Palm Springs to Carlsbad. The atmosphere was quite unique, with Japanese anime posters on the walls, music playing in the background, and small gaming devices for kids to enjoy. It created a fun and casual vibe. For a Korean BBQ restaurant that has been open for a while, the interior was well-maintained and clean. The meat and prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes seemed generous for the price. However, the soft tofu soup served on the side tasted like instant ramen seasoning and was too salty, which was disappointing. The server was incredibly friendly, and the service overall was excellent. If you’re looking for a Korean BBQ spot with a unique vibe and reasonable prices, this place is worth a visit!

Google
Korean BBQ will no doubt always be expensive. But I left feeling unsatisfied yesterday. It was my first time trying K-BBQ in Temecula and seeing that it was 4.8 stars, I definitely had high expectations. Food - limited menu. it's not AYCE, which is fine, but definitely just meat all around (plus tofu soup). There's also seafood but mostly just squid and shrimp as options. We got beef bulgogi, brisket, pork shoulder, sweet octopus, and garlic chicken. The food itself is not bad. Seasoned with enough sauce and had good taste. There was quite a bit of fat on the bulgogi though. Definitely don't bring a vegetarian here; there's nothing for them. As far as the little dishes they bring out, it was okay. Not as many as your typical korean spots. My favorite was the veggie tofu soup - THAT actually was delicious and traditional tasting. Grill - here's where my problem lies. Our grill was very small and the fire was not evenly distributed over the grill area which slowed the cooking process by A LOT. The server probably came over 4x to torch our food to speed up the process. So I half lost patience throughout the grilling process because it took forever. Price - not cheap and we didn't even order drinks. Service - no complaints Overall, I didn't think it was a 4.8. Perhaps for Temecula standards and people that are not used to going to other K BBQ places this was great?? But being an east coast Asian who's been to numerous Korean BBQ, this just doesn't compare.

Just had one of the best Korean BBQ meals I’ve ever had! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection right at the table. But what really made the experience stand out was the owner. Super friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. You can tell they genuinely care about the customers and take pride in the place. If you’re looking for great food and great vibes, this spot is it. Definitely coming back — and bringing more friends next time!

Yelp
I had an incredible experience at this Korean BBQ spot! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was above and beyond--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing--everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The variety of meats and side dishes was impressive, and everything was well-seasoned and delicious. Our server & the owner made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. It really made the meal even more enjoyable. A plus, when my son started having anxiety while we were eating all the staff checked on him and asked if they can be of help. Thank you!! If you're looking for great food and exceptional service, I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
st Korean BBQ in the Murrieta/Temecula Area - Our Whole Family Loves It! If you're looking for the best Korean BBQ in the Murrieta/Temecula area, DPoong Korean BBQ is the place to go. My wife and I have tried many Korean BBQ spots over the years--locally and beyond--and DPoong easily stands out as our favorite. We've been here multiple times, and every visit has been consistently excellent. What makes DPoong truly special is that it's not just a great dining spot for couples or adults--it's also incredibly family-friendly. We brought our three kids with us, and they all loved the food! From the grilled meats to the tasty side dishes, everyone left full and happy. It's not always easy finding a place where adults and kids can enjoy a meal equally, but DPoong nails it. The food is absolutely delicious. The meat is high quality, well-marinated, and full of flavor. Whether it's the juicy bulgogi, tender pork belly, or savory short ribs, every bite is perfect. The grill setup is clean and efficient, and the meats cook beautifully right at the table. The banchan (side dishes) are fresh and flavorful, and the staff makes sure they're refilled promptly without even having to ask. Our kids especially loved the japchae! The staff is wonderful--always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. They're great with kids, too, which we really appreciated. Whether it's bringing extra utensils, clearing plates quickly, or making sure everything is just right at the grill, the service is always top-notch. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and welcoming--perfect for both family lunch/dinners and date nights. We always feel relaxed and well taken care of when we're here. I would absolutely recommend DPoong to anyone--whether you're a Korean BBQ regular or trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed. It's become one of our go-to spots, and we can't wait to come back again soon!

Yelp
This was our first time trying this restaurant. My family heard about it so they wanted to give it a try. Apparently, it is a new restaurant that just opened. This restaurant is located in Temecula in a mini mall. Thankfully when we visited there was a place to sit when we arrived. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We didn't know what to expect, but the menu is clearly written with the different choices of meat and seafood that they offer. We were seated at one of the open tables, the staff came by and asked if we had any questions on the menu. Which we were just still trying to figure out. But we had decided to get combo 3 because we had 5 people in our group. It included shrimp as well. The sides were flavorful as well. The tofu soup was pretty good as well. The meat was a good variety. We got a big bowl of rice and the first set of meat to cook. The grill was turned on by the staff, but in between grilling the meat, the waiter had to come by and use a mini cooking torch to help the meat cook faster. Apparently, the grill that we have at the table does not have flame on one side of it. This was a little disappointing. Because it happened more than 2x during our dining experience. So we were having to wait for the meat to get cooked thoroughly with that mini torch. I hope that is something they'll get fixed because that is the whole dining experience grilling your meat on a grill that works thoroughly. Not sure if we'll be back. It was okay but not what we expected it to be.

Yelp
I take all friends here for Korean BBQ. I love that it's not an AYCE restaurant, so you get to pack and take home all the leftovers. They serve a ton of food for the combo options and you may ask for more side dishes/condiments, such as kimchi and potato salad. I highly recommend the beef options. My favorite is the spicy beef, while my daughter loves the brisket. My friends didn't like their pork options. The servers are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Fun and upbeat atmosphere. Perfect for large groups. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
My multifamily property manager loves barbecue on a grill like ribeye steaks. So I suggested we try this Korean barbecue because the reviews were so great. Eddie was 30 minutes late because he misunderstood the time. So I waited at the restaurant and had a long talk with Roy about how he started the business. Roy told me he's been in the Korean barbecue business for something like 30 years. He started in LA but Covid came and the restaurants had to shut down he said for almost a year. But he gave away his restaurant for free to a lady who took over his lease. She ended up running some illegal gambling and got shut down and the landlord kicked her out. Meanwhile Roy opened up the Temecula location about 4 years ago. He gets really busy on the weekends and people are waiting an hour for the table. But we got there on Monday and there was only one other party at another table and they soon left. Then we were the only people in the restaurant pretty much all night. Roy spent a lot of time talking with Eddie at our table and the other server was so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I made many requests such as corn tea, which Roy gave me his personal tea bag not for restaurant customers. I also requested a fork and a knife for me to cut the meats with. I didn't see the scissors at the table. We four adults, ordered number two, five different meats including the short ribs $131. The various kim chee dishes were the most delicious that I had in any Korean restaurant. But no one ate those but me. I am Chinese and well familiar with Korean food, but Eddy and his wife and cousin are Mexican, and for some reason they kept refusing to eat anything but the grilled meats. I was happy to take it all home. Roy gave us a plate of his favorite meat the sweet thin sliced pork, on the house, and it was a big pile. For the $131 we did a good job and I took a little bit home but for the four of us we did very well. They did not even touch the soup that came with a meal so I finished the entire tofu soup. Roy was telling us about how inflation is severely affecting his business how much rice cost now, how much the meats are. He told us of several businesses in the shopping centers that closed and that in the last 4 years, this shopping center has had three different owners. Roy's business sign on the building did not light up at night and it made the business look closed even though there's a small neon sign in the window that says open in red letters, but it's the glass is dark and looks closed.. He says he's fed up with that landlord. It's the landlord's responsibility to fix his business sign on the building above his door. I took more pictures of the food but when I'm posting the review I didn't find them in my phone. Well we had a good time, we stayed till 9:30 when our server said they were closing. We will be back next year. Roy is only making enough money with this restaurant to feed himself, but it's not a "profit". So hope you can go there especially during the weekdays, and help him out.

Yelp
My family and I were indecisive to which Korean bbq to go to in Temecula, we decided for DPoong based on Yelp's reviews. And we made the right choice, food was delicious, staff was absolutely nice and attentive, owner was super sweet. Highly Recommend and won't go anywhere else in

Yelp
We discovered this Korean place from friends whom have been recommended this place. It is tucked away in Winchester mall area. When you walk in, there is grills to the left and right and a whole section of video game machines to play while you wait. The place smells like Korean bbq and gets you ready for the meal. Their menu has a few options to pick from including cuts of meat and type of meal. We picked the beef from the first option. A very cool feature is they let you take home any left overs. As our meat arrived we got numerous side dishes and began our cooking journey. Everything came out delicious, and we ordered a couple additional sides. The prices for the deals are absolutely worth it, as we had a bunch of left overs. The service was impeccable, and the owner even came out to greet us. The whole experience was great. If you are a big fan of Korean bbq check this place out!
google avatar

Christie G.

Yelp
The food was good , especially the kimchi tofu soup . BUT the meat did take long to cook , and the sides aren't complimentary. You have to pay for more rice and what ever sides. From what I remember. The vents weren't really venting the smoke from cooking the meat so it was smoky in the restaurant. We only came here once. It's very small so even to wait inside it's very crowded.

Yelp
What fun place! First of all if you're looking for a nice quiet dinner spot, this is NOT it! The music is loud, and fun and it's giving let's get rowdy vibes and I loved it. The owner is really interactive, and comes to the table several times with a huge torch to help cook your food, he's dancing around the restaurant with lights and having the best time. The vibe here checks out! The decor in this place reminds me of the 90s in LA, and it's so nostalgic. I literally can't wait to go back again. It's not a regular all you can eat Korean BBQ, but seriously you get SO MUCH food, and what you don't finish you take home. I had so much fun eating here. Truly! Plus the shave ice after dinner really topped off the experience for me. Best K-BBQ in Temecula if you ask me.

Yelp
Everything is great about this place, the first time we went we were hesitant because it's not AYCE. But we are so happy we took a chance at it, best Korean barbecue in the area for sure the service is immaculate, the owner makes you feel really welcomed. The food is great and it's definitely enough to fill you up!

Yelp
Our group of four had an outstanding meal at DPoong this past Saturday. This was our first time, and it definitely won't be the last. The place is casual, and the music is loud, we were greeted right away and despite the place being busy we got a seat right away. We were advised to get the #2 Combo which included 4 meats + 1 more and soup of your choice, plus sides. Though I can't remember all the choices we made, I will say that this is a lot of food...so pace yourself. The meats were great quality, great flavor and generous portions. The Kimchee was delicious, as well as the other sides. The sauces can be a bit overwhelming, but let me tell you a little secret...his name is ANDY and he works on Saturdays. Andy made this meal extra special for us, he educated us on the different sauces and even made us his own personal favorite recipe by combining them adding garlic and green onion and BOOM...the perfect sauce. Andy was a fantastic server, he taught us some phrases in Korean, and he was so kind and funny and especially to my elderly Mom. He even made her blush a few times because she is quite the beauty. Anyhow, we will definitely be back for the fun, great food, and definitely for Andy and that special sauce.

Yelp
First time visiting the Korean bbq restaurant today. They do things a little differently here than other KBBQ places. They are not all you can eat. You pick from three combos each for a total of 4 different meats at 10oz each meat; equaling 40oz's of meat. One soup to share, and sauces & sides with white rice to share. Such great flavor to their sauce and amazing quality of their beef. Customer service was okay. This restaurant is located in the promenade mall, a great location. From the looks of it this place gets really busy on Fridays & Saturday's. Highly recommend this restaurant!
google avatar

Janette B.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I love the energy and the vibe! We were lucky to get seated right away on a busy Friday evening. Got to meet the owner too - super down to earth and hands-on! Not an AYCE spot but the servings are huge! They serve great, high-quality, delicious meat. We could not finish our meal - had plenty to take home. Made for an amazing breakfast the next day.

Yelp
Five stars rating 100% justified. 1. Outstanding customer service. We received full attention and assistance from every single staff member that came to our table. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and food served. We got our food blowtorches couple of times too which added some theatrics to the dining experience. 2. We prepared our meats in the hibachi style grill. The combo selection that was recommended for us was perfectly portioned and plentiful for party of two. The meats were tasty and seasoned well. I would highly recommend the tofu soup. Family recipe, well balanced flavours, carefully matched spices and seasoning will get your taste buds going. 3. Imported Korean black raspberry wine Bohae is a must! Pairs super well with grilled white or red meats and marinated BBQ. 4. Ambiance was very good and helped us fully enjoy the Korean BBQ atmosphere.
google avatar

Kerry W.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The quality of the meat is amazing and the marinade was perfect, sweet, salty and tender. Our waiters were very attentive and the owner stopped by often to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. I will come here often and enjoy all the delicious sides that come with our meal. I could not believe everything that came with our meal! Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon!!!

Yelp
This is our go-to for KBBQ in Temecula when we are lazy to go to OC or LA. The meat quality was good. My family loves it.

Sophie B.

Yelp
We came here for dinner based on the high reviews; unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The inside was run down, meat and side dishes were poor quality. Even though the owner was very nice, we definitely don't recommend this place. It is not worth the money.

jackie w.

Yelp
after reading the positive reviews we came here for dinner excited for a delicious kbbq meal after a day of wine tasting ... what a disappointment ... the sides were either too salty or bland. the sesame oil looked and tasted like canola oil. the meat turned gray over the heat and not an appetizing charred brown. the meat was at least ok and edible, but def not worth the the $$$. the owner was nice and very sociable and the place was packed for a sunday evening. but if you are looking for authentic kbbq, this is not the place. could also be that we were trying to have kbbq in temecula.
google avatar

Krysten S.

Yelp
Really nice little gem in Temecula! It will cure the cravings that sometimes you just don't want to drive to SD for. The owner and staff were so fun and overall the vibe is really nice and laid back. While you're not going to get an extensive menu, you're gonna get some of your favorites like the spicy pork belly. The anime on the walls adds to the laid back charm. Will come again!
google avatar

Amelea J.

Yelp
The owner is funny and is very outgoing. He definitely does his best to take care of you. Although this isn't an AYCE spot. I feel like the quality is there. Combo 1 was enough for 3 people to share IMO. They have video games in the front that are free to play as you're waiting for a table. The only bad thing I would say is that the ventilation could be better. It's Smokey inside.
google avatar

Omar K.

Yelp
I love going to this place because aside from amazing food and high-quality meat. The service is spectacular. The owner Roy is extremely hospitable. I went in one time on Mother's Day and he had a fresh bunch of roses to give to every single woman who came into the store. Plus, if you're lucky enough to go when it's a packed house the owner Roy will turn on Ghostbusters music and flashlight like a DJ and make it so much fun to celebrate a full restaurant. I couldn't be more invested in seeing a small business owner succeed than this guy. Highly recommend
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
I loved the food everyone was friendly and answered what ever questions we had for them the owner was funny putting on a show just to make the people in the restaurant laugh and have a good time I will be going back agin I recommend this place
google avatar

Deanne L.

Yelp
Wow amazing first time here! My party of 4 came around 1:30pm on a Sunday to a full restaurant but only less than 5 min wait. The Combo 2 was a good fit for us; it came with 5 kinds of meat, like beef brisket and bulgogi, as well as a bowl of Tofu soup. The quality of all the meat was great. Everything tasted really good. Their house sauce, "Ma's sauce," added extra flavor. The tofu soup was a small bowl so not a lot of that went around unfortunately, but still tasty. The service of each employee was super friendly, especially the gentleman that would come with his torch to speed up the cooking process. That guy was funny, always smiling, and constantly checked up on us. He even gave us a dessert on the house :) Impressed by the little old school video games at the entrance, super nostalgic. Will def be back
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Went last week. Each table is 3/4 enclosed so you have your own bubble. Food quality was good. 1st time doing this but enjoyed myself entirely. My wife doesn't get the point of cooking it yourself and I can't convince her otherwise, but she will definitely be going again. . Service was good and they examined how it works at thier restaurant. Would recommend this place.
google avatar

Klariza F.

Yelp
Yummy Korean bbq. The soup, sides, and meats are pretty good. Service was ok, they forgot to give us tongs and they forgot my soju. Price for 4 meat combo was around $70+. Feeds 3-4 people, but it was a lot for 3 people we were all really stuffed. The inside looked like an outdoor Korean bbq because of the canopy that surrounds each table.
google avatar

Joy B.

Yelp
So f*cking good!!! And FUN! We got the BEEF ny stip steak and ribs. We liked the strip steak better than the ribs and would get that again next time. We also got the pork spicy belly and shoulder. We preferred the shoulder and would get 2 of those next time! And next time we want to try the shrimp. Soju was delicious as well! We had both grape and apple and they were both tasty. Would be nice to try different flavors next time. Basically we will be back! The sides were FANTASTIC (could be a lil spicier but we like it HOT) veggie soup is a pass. Wanna try a meat one next time. We got it "spicy" which it was not. Next time we should go SUPER SPICY AND MEATY!
google avatar

Yelp
Tucked in the back of Margarita Road you will find DPoong. Windows were dark and covered and the open sign was off, but there were some lights peeking through. The reviews were great, so we had to check it out. We were seated right away on a Monday. We ordered the combo #1 that included 4 meats and 1 soup. We got brisket, sweet beef bulgogi, garlic pork belly, and spicy pork belly. For the soup, we went with the original beef tofu soup. Everything was flavorful, and even more so with the yakiniku type of grill with open flame. The meats were on the thinner side, but it was still filling for 3 people. I do prefer my pork belly a thicker though. The garlic pork belly was just seasoned with garlic salt. I thought it would have been a garlic marinade. The spicy pork belly and the beef were really good! The soup was flavorful and hit the spot also. Since the grills do cook unevenly, our servers were very attentive and came by with their giant blow torch. It was a cool experience! Banchan was good and tasted like LA. The only real con was the ventilation was not that great. It was so smokey inside my lungs started to feel a little irritated, not to mention can't go anywhere after without smelling like bulgogi. Overall, good experience and love to help out a local business. Thank you!

Yelp
Came here in a Monday night with my family for the first time and this place lives up to the reviews and rating. The staff were friendly and service was great. The owner came by our table a few times and was attentive. This gem was a little hard to find at first since the sign outside is off and the windows are tinted. Once you walk in, you're greeted with the aroma of Korean bbq smoke (not overwhelming, but a nice welcoming smell). The atmosphere reminded me is if I time traveled to Korea, from the music, the decor, to the lil mini arcade games that kept my kids entertained after we ate. There was a good selection of food. We ordered the combo 2 for two adults and two kids and had plenty of left overs. I didn't know this until we got there, but the food is not all you can eat but there is plenty of food to go around. Our total bill for the combo 2, beer, two soft drinks plus tip was under $200. Sure the price is probably higher than the chain restaurants but the quality of food was up there, plus whatever you can't finish, you take home. I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
The vibes are definitely on point here. They bump fun K pop music and pump up the customers along the way. The servers work as a team so you'll never be waiting on anything which is great. The food is ok but only because the grills cook so uneven here... I'd recommend getting the middle table with a hot plate... it's definitely work checking out. Happy eating!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and some of the most fun staff I've seen at a restaurant! Occasionally they'll come around with a blow torch to help you out with bbqing haha

Yelp
What an amazing find! Loved the service and the food. The owner was very friendly and came to check on our table a few times.

Yelp
Friendly staff and a boss who is serious about meat. I came back after a long time, but it is still the best. The price is also good, so I strongly recommend it to you. That's why I overate a little today too. haha~~

Yelp
Overall feeling: still hungry for another kbbq place Hubs and I have been on a quest to find kbbq that would satisfy our craving in Temecula. The one thing that stands out with Dpoong is the customer service from the owner. He's great. Love the "feel" of the place - you are immediately transformed to an atmosphere that actually reminded me of some of the bbq places in LA. It was dim, you got your own space, music blasting and, really, all we needed were rounds of soju to make it complete. We were greeted immediately, told that we could play one of the many mini arcade games positioned around the front - and in about 25 min or so we were seated in our own "pod". Now, the grill type is more traditional - not the grills you see at places like Gen. The nice thing about that is that there is no need for grill changes, but with that also comes with a different technique of grilling. I have always sucked at cooking kbbq, and sucked even more on the traditional one. The owner was super nice and kept giving us tips on how to grill each meat - would come around with his torch to speed up the process a little. Basically this guy made the meal for us. Banchan was very tasty. Some of better ones we've had - even in comparison to places in LA/OC. Loved the sweet/spiciness of the kimchi and cucumbers. The soon tofu was also a high contender. The spice level was in point - and I think we've gotten weaksauce from the lack of korean food here bc we seriously died eating the medium lol. This is not AYCE, which works for me, but not so much the hubs. The Combo 1 gives you a generous amount of food, but still not the amount that would make the hubs happy - unless of course we paid for more. The garlic pork belly was okay - we couldn't really taste the garlic unfortunately, but it crisped up nicely - a little thinner cut than we were used to. Beef steak was decent - and so was the first round of brisket. Unfortunately the second round we got wasn't as marbled through - so it was chewier than the first. Dipping sauce was on point. There is a sweeter one and then also the original one that has jalapeño. Overall, our experience was okay. The owner, like I said, makes the whole experience. The staff is a hit or miss in terms of attentiveness, but everyone is kind and seems happy to be there. Unfortunately I don't believe this will be a place we go back to - unless its to get some of that bachan or tofu soup. But definitely would recommend to others to try for the experience alone.

Yelp
We came here with my husband and kids to try another local Korean bbq place. To start, when you first walk in, you receive a warm welcome! The menu is a bit limited as it is not a AYCE style. They have three combos that come with 4-5 meats. However, all the meats served were very flavorful and enough portions to feed our family of 4. The sides ARE unlimited. One of the family owners also approached us a few times. Super humble, outgoing and really brings the restaurant to life! The ambience is alive and also has games for kids to play.

Yelp
I went here yesterday for my birthday and got combo #1. The meat were good but weren't that much of a fan of their selection. I'm a RIBeye kinda girl and I love Korean ribs but since it didn't come with the combo I decided to just eat with whatever it comes with. The quality were definitely better than some other kbbq place but the main reason why I give this place a five star is because of the owner!! He is very lively and fun. You can tell how passionate he is and his personality does reflect the whole entire ambiance of the restaurant. From music selections, mini arcade, dim lighting, and anime show on tv. He did make my birthday special by singing the happy birthday for me and gave me a mini cake with a candle. It surely brighten my day after a long clinical shift in the hospital. I would definitely recommended this little place for anyone that want an intimate kbbq experience locally. PS. Price is on the higher side so be prepared for that. Haha

Yelp
My family and I used to go to LA, OC or San Diego for Korean BBQ. We were fortunate to find DPoong for not only amazing food but excellent service in a fantastic ambiance. The best part, 10 mins from the house. I encourage you to give this place, based on the great Korean restaurants of Gardena a try

Yelp
Food quality was average which is why I give them two stars over just one. Service was not good. We saw a very different level of service if you were Asian, unfortunately we are not so no one ever checked on us. Our grill did not work so we had to put our order in twice. We had to ask for water three times. We had "unlimited sides" however, no one ever came to refill our empty plates. Although the quality was average, the quantity was below average. Overall, you're better off at an all you can eat location.

Yelp
Awesome spot for a group, combo 2 was more than enough for 4 people. Staff was great even the dishwasher came out and said hi.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Great environment and vibe! Fun and friendly staff! The free arcade mini games for kids is such a cool touch to entertain your kids! Had a blast for my first experience! Free sides all you can eat and the table portion was well enough to feed a family of 4! Will repeat for sure!

Yelp
I'm not a huge Korean BBQ fan but I really enjoyed the meal we had here. Both the spicy chicken and spicy pork were quite good. There were a couple of the banchan dishes that were excellent as well. The wait staff as well as the chef were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Note that it's not an inexpensive meal, but the amount of food they give you is abundant and you will most likely leave with leftovers.

Yelp
I'm a very loyal customer when it comes to restraunts so Ive been holding off on trying this place.... I WISHED I WOULD HAVE CAME SOONER! Best kbbq place in Riverside county! AMAZING, service. Huge shoutout to the owner and Andy with their amazing service. They helped us cook , making our life easier and making sure it does not burn/get dry. The food was delicious! Andy taught us how to prepare the meat with certain side dishes. The ambiance was amazing! Anime playing in the background and also theme anime songs. Definitely we will be coming back. We got the first combo and was more than enough for us three. 10000/10 will be recommeding to everybody. Wish you guys the best with your business!

Yelp
Best thing about this place is easily the service. Owner and waiters are top tier. Vibes are immaculate. The food was amazing. The soup was fire, and meats were on point. I love how its easy to get a good char if you want it. The sides were also very good. I usually go to the AYCE places in orange county and Daygo, this place competes with them for sure. I would say it's priced pretty fairly too. The only complaint I have is for some reason some girl that doesn't even look like she worked there shut off the games for my little siblings as they were waiting for me to pack up the food and pay the bill. Kind of killed the vibe but the owner and staff were so good that I won't let it affect the stars I give. They deserve everything they were genuinely great people.

Yelp
It's rare to find a gem of a place that wholeheartedly gives you an unforgettable experience! From the minute we stepped into DPoong Korean we were greeted with the warmest welcome! The owner Master Min was such a pleasure keeping us informed of our wait time as we waited for our table. Every single employee at this establishment was kind and attentive which made our experience one of the best! We ordered combo number one with an added protein (octopus ). It was phenomenal!!! The Soon tofu soup was so tasty as well! To be honest it was all absolutely delicious. The establishment is well ventilated which I truly appreciated because I've experienced other Korean BBQ places where it was scorching hot! Perfect family style restaurant or perfect for date night as well! An added plus was the cheerful happy birthday they gave our son for his 17th bday and very first Korean experience. Needles to say this place will be on repeat and we will recommend this place to everyone we know! Thank you Master Min for giving us such a wonderful experience, you and your staff are beyond amazing!

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner at Dpoong. The meats were excellent and the service team was nice. The owner, Min, came by our table to make sure we were having a good experience in his restaurant- and his personal touch added a very warm sense of human goodness and connection for us. The grill style of the BBQ lends itself to slightly thicker meats, and the open flame approach gives the opportunity for meat with a touch of char if you want it. Why only four stars? Well, the 'panchan' side dishes were not as on-point as I'd have liked - just not quite as fresh as I've had elsewhere (like at my mother in law's Omanim's table!). The ambience is a bit 'meh'; floors were dirty, and water is served in plastic cups; i asked for actual glasses - and they brought them upon my request. But in Temecula - this is the better of our two Korean options! And it's good!

Yelp
Great Korean BBQ for Temecula. Owner is super fun! Love the free arcade games for the kids.
