He was courteous ,professional and put my mind at ease right away and his staff was also great answering questions and making me fell comfortable even with the pain. Dr. Shaw has been our family Orthopedic doctor for many years. Our family has had several Broken Bones and Knee Surgeries. All injuries have had successful outcomes. We appreciate and rely on Dr. Shaw's extensive knowledge and experience. He is very caring and always makes our family members comfortable during the visits. Dr. Shaw was recommended by a friend and also my husband they had a good experience with him. I on the other hand had an awful experience. I was trying to explain my knee pain and discomfort with the doctor and he kept cutting me off and not listening, I told him another doctor suggested an MRI, and he said he's the surgeon and you only get MRI is you want surgery. I wanted him to understand where my pain was and what type of activities aggravated the pain, didn't want to listen, he said that if I kept talking then we wouldn't have time for him to give a shot. I told him I didn't want a shot, he said my only other option was surgery. What kind of doctor is this? Does he have a God complex? Maybe he just didn't like me. Oh well, onto another doctor who will actually listen to me.

I have been going to Dr shaw over 10 yrs. He is very personable and easy to talk to. I've had 4 surgeries with him with great results. Everybody in the office is fantastic! You're treated like a person not a number. I would recommend Westfield orthopedic & Dr shaw if you're looking for a good orthopedic!!

Dr. Shaw is excellent. Had a pleasant experience from the front desk, to the nurse, to xray tech. Dr. Shaw took his time to explain my xray results, diagnosis and treatment plan. Highly recommend!

Dr Dan Shaw is as good as they come, really took the time to listen to the issues, diagnose and explain what was happening. He developed a plan that has already begun to help. Fantastic Dr, fantastic practice (form the nurses to the receptionists!)!

Dr. Shaw has wonderful beside manners... he made sure I was completely comfortable with my knee surgery.. his upbeat attitude and general friendliness was very comforting.. would recommend him to everyone!!
