Best Holiday Gifts in Los Angeles - Eater LA

"This do-it-all clog will be right at home anywhere a supremely comfortable (but still sleek) shoe is needed. From working the line in a professional kitchen to preparing an extravagant meal at home, or even those early-morning farmers market runs, it’s hard to resist slipping on a pair of Snibbs. Buy this for the dinner party aficionado who keeps complaining about sore feet or the sous chef in your life who is looking for a little more support at work. Note: Snibbs has pairs that aren’t quite this flashy, like dark gray or black vegan leather." - Matthew Kang

Dr. Snibbe is outstanding! I had a total hip replacement with him 11 years ago and I am still doing great. I am able to ski, mountain bike, and climb mountains with absolutely no hip pain. I have now climbed Everest, K2, and all 14 of the world’s highest mountains with my THA . I highly recommend him!

Google
I cannot express the relief I have when I was able to come across Dr. Jason Snibbe. Not only do his credentials speak for themselves, he has excellent bedside manner and is very humble. I feel he puts himself in position of his patients and he does what is best if it were to be his situation. If you are looking for a surgeon who is knowledgeable, skillful, and humble, Dr. Jason Snibbe is the surgeon you want to go with.

Google
Dr Snibbe, it’s just amazing. His work is amazing. His kindness is amazing. His team is amazing. His staff is amazing. . I had two hip replacements one three years ago and 7 weeks ago I’m 67. I’m in the gym doing squats and walking the treadmill for one hour and working as a trainer thank you thank you Dr Snibbe and staff.💪🏻🤗

Google
I have seen a lot of Orthopedics in Los Angeles due to multiple Knee replacements and knee revision Doctors. I recently saw Dr Snibbe for a THR done 16 years ago from another Doctor. I have recently had several dislocations. Dr Snibbe was top notch . Extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything in detail and was genuinely concerned about your health issue. I will use Dr Snibbe for Revisions needed. I strongly recommend seeing Doctor Snibbe for any Hip or Knee issues.

Google
Dr. Snibbe is a star in my eyes! He may be my husband but he did PRP in my hips to avoid arthroscopic hip surgery and I doubted that it would work but it really did!!! 10 years and going strong. No surgery needed. But I did get a second round of PRP after about 6 years. Yay! So happy

Google
I’m 28 years old and have already undergone 2 knee surgeries in Texas, but I was still dealing with ongoing pain that made daily life uncomfortable. I was recommended to see Dr. Snibbe while I was in LA, and I’m so glad I did!!!! He suggested PRP as option to help manage the pain.. it has helped me tremendously. I’ve noticed a real difference in my mobility and discomfort levels. Dr. Snibbe and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process. Thank you sm

Google
Dr. Snibbe is awesome. I did s lot of research beforehand and had seen some other doctors who were great, but no one put me at ease about the upcoming surgery like Dr. Snibbe. He was the only one who described exactly what I had hoped for. Stoked!

Deanna Holmes

Google
The office staff is very welcoming and kind hearted. Nick Petito is such a sweetheart and very knowledgeable. Dr Snibbe is a gentle giant. Im so grateful for the PRP treatment. It has truly benefited me. Thank you guys so much your awesome

Yelp
Dr Snibbe is the best. He doesn't just consider people who see him as just an option to cut. He will never recommend a surgery unless it is needed and takes everything into account that it's the right thing to do. He explains everything in a way that it is easy to understand and will spend as long as it takes to go over everything you want to discuss. He is the only doctor that helped lead me to the right doctor that diagnosed a rare disorder. He was the only one that believed me when I said something was wrong when all other doctors didn't and wouldn't listen. He is an amazing surgeon and human being.

Yelp
Dr Snibbe did knee replacement on both of my knees 6 weeks apart everything went great on both of them left knee has been a year back to the gym playing with the grand kids no pain

Steven P.

Yelp
Dr. Snibbe replaced my ACL in 2022. Follow-ups were with his PA and I consistently described that I was still in pain and my quad was weak. though I continued to have pain. I was following all of the PT instructions, etc. Because the pain after a year, I had another MRI only to discover that the replacement didn't take. Following up with Snibbe to get advice on how to proceed was difficult as Snibbe required an additional payment to review the new MRI and then to set up a call. Bottom line - Snibbe didn't seem to care that his surgery was unsuccessful.

Mike L.

Yelp
I had surgery with Dr Snibbe years ago for labral repair. I never recovered and get worse yearly. I have seen several hip doctors since surgery with Snibbe and all say it appears to much bone was removed, causing instability which is causing my long list of problems all of which are worse since before surgery. My one star is not even a result of my surgery but because Dr. Snibbe won't see me unless I pay out of pocket as he doesn't take insurance anymore. I asked if he would even look at new MRI since it is his work that so many say was poorly done and I was told for 800 dollars he would review my new MRI.

Edward R.

Yelp
The doctor replaced my left hip last year, and the results are fantastic. Can't wait for him to do the other one!

Yelp
Dr. Snibbe did a knee replacement on me. My leg was extremely swollen and hot. The pain was absolutely horrible. I knew there was something wrong, I went to see him 4 times and he blew me off. He x-rayed and said it was perfect and not to worry ....just hang in there. He did not listen to me and just dismissed me. I went to Dr. Pennenberg and he had me get a c-scan of the knee and it showed that the appliance came apart and I sent the result to Dr. Snibbe... After he saw the result he said He needed to go back in and cement it. Of course I went back to Dr. Pennenberg He took out the broken knee implant and put a new one in with a longer stem. I would say Dr Pennenberg is the doctor to go to ... NOT Snibbe. Snibbe does not care!!!!!

kim w.

Yelp
I love this surgeon! Best experience. My knees are perfect! Double knee replacement. Back to work 3 weeks later. I did take PT seriously. I continue to recommend Dr Snibbe. Absolutely fantastic!

I can not say enough to thank Dr. Jason Snibbe & Doc's Medical center. Abe and the entire staff Very Very professional, I had almost no pain in all my surgery's. Jason has restored the quality of my life A+ I rate Dr. Jason Snibbe 100% the Best "Hall of Orthopedic Fame Doctor". Thank You Jason & all your staff. Jasun E. Porter Ranch Ca.

Yelp
I can never get a callback from this office. Even before my surgery the office finally called me with a date & time after - 4 phone calls and raising my blood pressure. Now what I need is a duplicate prescription for post op PT & Pilates that I lost following my post op with Dr. Snibbe. I am grateful to Dr. Snibbe for my new hip. I am not grateful for the hospital where I had the surgery and spent my first night - a nightmare in facility & care. I am 3 weeks out now and healing nicely. Joline LaMond

Yelp
Due to an injury over a decade ago, I had lingering knee pain that kept getting worse as I got older. After much deliberation with guidance from Dr. Snibbe, we decided surgery was the best course of action. I was under the knife within a week of that decision and it couldn't have gone better. Surgery took about an hour and I walked out of the surgery center. I was told that with rest and rehab it would take me three months to be back to full use of my knee with no restrictions. A few days ago, I got the all clear... a full month ahead of schedule!! I've still got a ways to go before I'm confident at a full sprint, skiing the slopes or making hard cuts on the basketball court, but thanks to Dr. Snibbe and his team I don't have any doubts about my ability to get there. My knee is ready when I am! Thank you Dr. Snibbe!!

Ghazanfar R.

Yelp
For many years I had problems with my knees. Dr Snibbe operated on them and I have been pain free, with much better quality of life. He is most friendly and explains every step of the way. His staff are courteous and professional. I highly recommend Dr Jason Snibbe. He is my HERO

Homa M.

Yelp
Several doctors had recommended knee replacement for my constant knee pain. Dr Snibbe started with PRP injections and other treatments. No more pain. Great doctor. Wonderful bedside manners.

Micki S.

Yelp
As far as I'm concerned, Dr Snibbe is the best there is for orthopedic surgery. I had my left hip replaced 3 years ago by him and had amazing results. When my right hip started failing about 6 months ago, I went straight to Dr Snibbe and actually looked forward to having that hip replaced as well. I was walking unassisted within 4 days. I never had to take a pain pill. I was back to regular activity in 3 or 4 weeks and had more mobility after surgery than I had the first time. I know Im lucky but I attribute a lot of that to Dr Snibbe. Everything he said as to healing was also spot on. And now his clinic has its own hospital which I used this time around and I loved having a smaller facility that was exclusively orthopedic patients with an amazing crew of assistants and nurses, et al. I cannot recommend Dr Snibbe and his staff highly enough.

Samantha B.

Yelp
I am so blessed to have met Dr. Snibbe. I went from orthopedic surgeon to orthopedic surgeon and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Snibbe instantly knew what I needed and was able to alleviate years of pain. He is the kindest most humble doctor I've ever met. He spends time with you and explains everything in detail. His bedside manner is unparalleled. Thank you Dr. Snibbe for changing my life. I am forever grateful.

Tom D.

Yelp
DOCS Surgery Center used OutcomeMD to measure my symptoms before and during my treatment. My Hip Symptom Score was 38 before surgery and my score has improved to 100 so far! Thank you DOCS Surgery Center and Dr. Snibbe for helping me get such a great outcome!

Yelp
Cannot get Office staff to answer phone or call you back. Do not know if surgery successful or not as PT delayed due to lack of office response post surgery

Yelp
Dr. Snibbe is tops. I'm prolly telling you something you already know. His patients love him, colleagues highly respect him and his surgical al outcomes are life changing. As a colleague I hear the praise he gets first hand unbiased. Look no further than Jason Snibbe for your ortho needs.

Yelp
I've had 5 hip surgeries with 3 replacements. I know a good doctor. Jason Snibbe is one of the best. Some patients on here will complain and say he did this or didn't do that. He's too busy he hurt my feelings. Each one of us are responsible for our outlook, rehab, and bodies. Dr.Snibbe is unbelievable and a master. He can fix or repair the bones, ligaments, and connective tissue. He did all this for me. It's us patients that have to then do the work of getting ourselves strong and functioning. Loose weight, walk all the time, work out, actually do the physical therapy, and loose more weight. You see I love this guy as a doctor and as a fixer. He fixed a horrible mistake made by another doctor from Cedars and I am a thousand times better for it. You want a great doctor for hips and knees he is the one. Remember 5 surgeries and 3 replacements. I know what I'm talking about.

Yelp
I have a labral hip tear and I'd like to see Dr. Snibbe for a third and final opinion as I've heard good things about him. Unfortunately, no one picks up the phone or returns *multiple* voicemails to simply set up a consultation time. I've literally called the office 5 times in the span of the last 2 months and left short, concise voicemails - no response. This is super disappointing. I understand that he's in demand and sometimes voicemails get lost. Hence, all my repeated attempts. But seriously, no call back after all these voicemails over the span of 2 months? Update: After an hour of posting this, I got a call from Dr. Snibbe's office and was finally able to schedule a consult. Which is great but it isn't until mid-May...I just wish I could have gotten a callback in January, when I first called. I've updated my rating because of the callback. I will update again when I finally see the surgeon...if I can wait for another 2 months!

Yelp
Ove the last 10 years Dr. Snibbe has successfully operated on both my hips and replaced my left knee. He's attentive and is truly interested in your well-being. I wouldn't have anyone else operate on me! HIghly recommend him

Yelp
Dr Snibbe and his staff rock! I had left knee replacement after being in major pain for a year and a half and limping around! Other doctors wanted only a partial. After checking out my knees he saw the issues amd realized a partial would not do job and I would still be in pain. Needless to say got it done! Best decision! And I'll be getting other done soon as realized walking with nonpain is AWESOME! The staff is efficient amd informative! Really impressed with Jason, Jennifer, Nick, Marco, Abe, and the nurses at DOCS Surgical Hospital rock! Get out of pain and get er done!

Yelp
I only gave this one star because there was nothing lower. I was scheduled for surgery and wanted to speak to the doctor because I had several questions. I called and I called and left messages week in and week out. Today I finally gave up and told them that I wanted to cancel my surgery. I was informed that the doctor was too busy to talk to me and when I told them that I wanted to cancel the surgery they said fine and hung up.

Yelp
In February, I fell while skiing down the steepest slope in Mammoth. Well, I tore my ACL. Note to everyone: apparently, skiing is one of the most common ways to tear your ACL and other knee injuries, due to your foot being stuck in a boot on a ski, and so when you fall, your knee has nowhere to bend. Anyway, six weeks ago, Dr Snibbe did my ACL surgery. It's a tough process, but Dr Snibbe was awesome. The surgery was great. I have many friends who are surgeons and they say Dr Snibbe is fantastic -- so, that's high praise. What I know is I can feel my knee improving so much, every day. Also, I had really good experiences with Snibbe's office staff returning messages. I read some Yelp reviews where others had issues there. I didn't. Abe was great. And, they all returned my calls. Even when I needed to reach the Dr himself, he called me in the evening from his cell phone to discuss some issues I was having (it was a rash from the leg shaving, and that was making it difficult to wear the leg brace-ugh!). Dr Snibbe prescribed some medication for the rash, and by the next day, the prescription was waiting for me at Ralphs pharmacy. Anyway, I recommend Dr Snibbe and the whole team. Also, the office staff were polite and sweet.

Yelp
Very thorough and detailed exam for my 14 year old son with immediate X-ray on the premises. Doctor and staff took their time to answer questions and explain and exam did not feel rushed. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I always thought I was too young to replace my hip. Being a former pro ball player , I made a bone head move when I tore my acl - picking the wrong doctor. This time around I did the research - I made sure i had the right doctor and the right person and if you don't go to Dr. Jason Snibbe , then you probably need a psychiatrist; to determine why you do not Want the best for yourself. He is the best , surgery at 1 pm and out that evening. Everything went perfectly. Now starts the reh 6 months later ; skied Park City hard, playing hoops again / the hip is perfect - better than I can remember !! Thanks to a great dr

Yelp
Great experience! Amazing doctor, he did a great job on my surgery and explained everything that was involved, and also what my options were. He did not pressure me at all into having surgery, but gave me all of the options so that I could make the decision right for my situation. Ultimately having surgery for me was the best decision and I am so glad that I had Dr. Snibbe do the surgery. It was a great success! The office staff was very nice and billing department was clear and professional. No surprises there. Overall excellent experience.

Yelp
After taking an unfortunate tumble while skiing, Dr. Snibbe replaced my torn ACL with a hamstring graft. My recovery couldn't have gone more smoothly! I'm 8 weeks post-surgery and completely pain free! I'm so grateful to Dr. Snibbe and his wonderful staff for all of their time and expertise. This dream team is magic!

Yelp
Saw Dr Snibbe at the very end of March - he (and Abe his asst) told me to get tests done quickly so I can make the determination of whether to have surgery on a very painful hip. I hurried to have all tests done the very next week and for the past 7 weeks the doctor will not call back nor answer any emails. His asst Abe tells me every week he is in surgery - now Abe wont answer any emails (5) nor return any phone calls (4). The most disappointing doctor experience I have ever had - incredibly unprofessional.

Patricia D.

Yelp
I wonder if Medicare patients get worst care from him? I certainly did. My right knee was ruined. Did he really do my surgery, or one of his students? He tried to claim i fell on it , but i DID NOT FALL AT ALL. It simply fell apart, and the second surgery left me unable to climb stairs properly. The pain has now lasted 6 years. If you are not rich don't use him. He will cripple you.

Sacha B.

Yelp
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Jason Snibbe. As a Virgo Complementary Healthcare professional, unlike a normal patient, I am very critical of those I choose to take care of me. By the way, if anyone cares, he is also a Virgo. I expect great skill, a kind heart and respectful communication. I do feel he fulfills all those requirements. Also, for me, as a hobbyist songwriter I was happy to hear he is also a musician ...not that it is relevant to his surgical skills nor that he advertises that of course but I found it in his CV because I do dig deep and it is relevant to ME. It means that his left and right brains are intact. After a lifetime of healthy living I was shocked and dismayed to find my hips failing me! I tried everything I could afford in holistic treatments during a 5 year period without success... short of human stem cells ... I did not have the deep pockets for that... I was fed up and furious ...and ran out of options. I did all I could to AVOID hip surgery. When I had to succumb. I was determined to find the best surgeon possible and payment by Medicare. A lawyer friend had a list of never-sued doctors in LA. Dr. Snibbe was on the list. Dr. Snibbe as well as 2 other surgeons suggested Bilateral Hip Replacement which freaked me out! Another colleague said she had it done as well and was glad. I FINALLY decided to get it over with on the same day as they all suggested and was RELIEVED! Surprisingly, I was walking that SAME day!? The anticipation was worse than the experience! I did walk out of rehab in 2 weeks with only a cane! Some people just want a great surgeon and don't care about bedside manner. That is not me. Dr. Snibbe is extremely kind and compassionate besides being a terrific surgeon. He wanted to be a dr. since childhood. I know because I asked him. He listened attentively to all my requests. I also asked for general anesthesia rather than a nerve block which he respected. The doctors at rehab said that his patients seemed to heal faster due to his lack of restrictions post-op. His staff must be overworked and overbooked because as some have mentioned on this site, they do not always respond in a timely manner. Yes, that was an issue for me. Just saying. But DO BE PERSISTENT. He is worth it! Jennifer, his PA did answer my questions responding in a timely manner. ALL got done when I was PERSISTENT. I am not used to dealing with a busy, allopathic office. But when it came down to it, I DID receive great treatment for my surgery and post-op follow ups. HIGHLY recommended. I am happy to speak to any other prospective patient of this surgery.

Yelp
There seems to be a theme here of Dr. Snibbe not returning calls. If you were injured in an accident and hired an attorney to represent you, do not seek care from Dr. Snibbe. My attorney and I both have reached out multiple times to him bc, in order to strengthen my case, we need a statement from him about his recommendations for my injury. Getting this statement is the only thing that is holding my case up from settling, which has been in process for a year and a half. My attorney and I are so disappointed that he will not respond. My attorney even offered to compensate him for the time it would take out of his day to speak to him. Still nothing.

Yelp
I am 58 years old and have been taking care of my now 90 year old father who is close to 300lbs for the last 4 years. Today, we visited Dr. Snibbe for my father to get shoulder injections. I told Dr. Snibbe that I was also having some neck, back pain ... it's difficult to move that kind of weight around every day - physical and emotional STRESS. Dr. Snibbe suggested a Toradol with steroid shot. I said, YES PLEASE!! WOW - WITHIN IN 30 MINUTES I COULD MOVE MY NECK, I FELT MY SPINE OPENING UP MY SHOULDERS GOING BACK. What a wake up call. Thank you Dr. Snibbe, I did not realize how much pain/stress my body was in until today. You are awesome.

vanessa k.

Yelp
I am so great full for Dr. Snibbe. He is so kind and was very patient when my parents had a lot of questions. I had arthroscopic surgeries , injections, and i have been a frequent flier at physical therapy and it did not help. I ended up being a candidate for a double hip replacement. I first thought hip replacements were not for younger people. He explains all treatment options. My left hip is doing amazing and my right hip is getting there! I will be back at it soon enough. I had 5 surgeries , in 2 years, I am already starting to feel better and will be back to Pilates soon! Having to deal with this in your 20s has not been easy. Thankfully, he fixed my problem I will be able to soon live life and do everything I want to do. Nick and Jennifer are amazing too!! If you have any questions they will answer right away!

Patrick O.

Yelp
Dr. Snibbe is at a different level! Obviously he is a surgeon that is at the top of his game! What sets him apart: He treats each and every patient that they are his utmost priority! He gives you his undivided attention while he is evaluating you! Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr Snibbe! I had a bilateral knee replacement a year ago December. I'm back to working out and can walk for over 2 hrs at a time! Dr. Snibbe is the best!

Yelp
Quick and Dirty: Dr. Snibbe is super awesome, caring and compassionate. His office in Beverly Grove is also super chic and top notch. Nitty Gritty: I broke my hip July 2017 and I was referred to Dr. Snibbe by a family member of mine. Dr. Snibbe has a super chic office in the Beverly Grove area next to the Beverly Center. The space is shared with a couple of other doctors and Dr. Snibbe's staff occupy the first two receptionist desks to the left when you walk in. The lobby area has plenty of seating, free wi-fi and snack/water to nibble on while you wait. There is the typical wait you encounter at any doctors office, but once in the back, things move much more briskly. Dr. Snibbe has a great staff that is efficient and does a good job of putting patients at ease. Dr. Snibbe's bedside manner and demeanor is super calm and it immediately helps put you at ease when dealing with serious issues. Dr. Snibbe is candid in his assessments but is not an alarmist, which I appreciated very much. He talked to me about the course for my post op treatment and the timeline in which I could expect to be back up and fully functional. The office has digital x-rays, plenty of exam rooms and staff at every turn. If you are in need of a hip and knee specialist in the LA area and you dont see Dr. Snibbe, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Micki S.

Yelp
This office is a well-oiled machine. It is big and you can feel slightly like an assembly line product but the results and treatment make it obvious why there are so many people wanting to Have Dr Snibbe and his incredible team take care of you. I have had both my hips replaced by Dr Snibbe and each time was record speed recovery, and I never took or needed a pain pill. No pain! And the pain I was suffering before surgeries completely gone the next day. Dr Snibbe and Nick Petito are friendly, caring - Dr Snibbe is an artist at his work. Since my first surgery a few years ago, they now have their own hospital which I used for this surgery (a couple months ago) and had an even greater experience by being somewhere that was their "home" and a crew that was all there for the specialties at hand, unlike a regular hospital with staff handling a myriad of types of illnesses, recoveries, etc. I cannot recommend this doctor and his office highly enough.

Yelp
There are so many wonderful things that can be said about Dr. Snibbe. What I appreciate most about him is the time he takes to LISTEN (above all else) and to provide the best possible solutions to whatever issue a patient might be facing. He is humble, kind, and SOLUTION-oriented. I am so grateful to Dr. Snibbe for the care that he has provided me and my family. We felt that we were in excellent, high-capable hands at all times. He is a skilled surgeon and an empathetic physician, which is so much more than can be said for many doctors in this town. Thank you Dr. Snibbe and staff for all the tremendous care that you give.

Teri M.

Yelp
If you are having a knee replacement, forget all the other reviews on Dr Snibbe talking about quick recovery. Hips are easy compared to knees so make sure you absolutely certain you need to do it before proceeding. After a year, I am in more pain than before the surgery. Being an active 65 yr old, that is not what I expected or was led to believe. On to Dr Snibbe and his practice. If you are looking for lots of reassurance and help answering your questions (and you should have a lot of them), this is not the place to get them. Dr Snibbe is a pleasant enough guy for the few minutes you get to see him, once you waited a day for someone to call you back to arrange an appointment and then waited the hour or two after the scheduled time to see him (every time, even for the first appointment of the day). Regarding his surgical skills, they look great on paper but with my outcome, I would have to say they are questionable. The office however (to quote a friend who I found out later had used him) is a s**tshow. Don't be surprised when the person behind you at the front desk is checking in for an appointment with Dr Snibbe at the same time as yours. Don't be surprised when no one calls you back to answer your pre-op questions. Don't be surprised when the office threatens to cancel the surgery if you don't pay in advance (and they still owe me money for overpayment). Don't be surprised by the amount of pain you will be in. Don't be surprised when Dr Snibbe is not there for the post-op visit. Don't be surprised when you don't get any follow up calls from the office to see how you are doing. Don't be surprised when you try to schedule a follow up visit because you are still in pain and the earliest available is two months out. Don't expect Dr Snibbe to help you with the pain post-surgery, other than some verbal reassurances and maybe a cortisone shot to temporarily reduce it. Don't expect to be pain-free after a few months (or a year in my case). Bottom line, don't be surprised and don't expect anything, particularly post-surgery. Hopefully then your experience will be better than mine.

Yelp
Dr Snibbe's staff are the most disorganized group of people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. There is absolutely a serious communication breakdown in their office. Beware of the doctor and the staff, it really seems to me that they do not know what they are doing.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok, update... 3-months later and all is well. Luis followed up with me, the office has automatic texts to ask about pain each month and rehab was a breeze. I couldn't ask for better service or care. An amazing group and facility. For a big worry wart like me, it was the best place to be! Thank you Dr. Snibbe, Luis and your entire team!

I love this doctor but I've waited a month to hear MRI results. PA just called and promised results by Friday and apologized profusely for the month I have been waiting. So I'll let you know.

Yelp
My husband and I first met Jason Snibbe 10 years ago. After multiple surgeries, shots, and consultations over the years, the one constant is the ultimate professionalism of Dr.Snibbe and his support team, Jennifer, a PA par excellence, Marco, a superb medical assistant, and Debra, the X-ray maven. If you have to wait for the appointment, it's well worth it. And when it's your turn, Dr. Snibbe gives you his undivided attention until all your concerns have been answered. I once ran into a doctor in the waiting room at Cedars, where Dr. Snibbe was redoing his wife's hip surgery from another doctor. That alone says it all! Wherever we go and people ask, "Who did your hip?" When we answer Dr. Snibbe, the response is, "oh, how lucky for you to get him"

Yelp
Simply the best. Hip labral repair and acetabular osteoplasty on both hips in 2015in my late 30's. Writing this review in 2018 pain free and mobile. The radiologist reports from two different contrast MRIs failed to see a labral tear (which is common) but Dr. Snibbe saw it upon review of the MRI. Turned out to be far worse on one side than any MRI imaging could show. He saved my hips and my mobility. I will always be grateful. There is a reason it takes time to get on his schedule. He's that good and worth the wait.

Yelp
The only doc you should consider. Advanced technologies, super friendly, amazing team, and they run a tight ship. I'll say it again...this is the ONLY doc you need to consider.

Yelp
To start I believe Jason truly wants do a good job. With that said his first priority is to make money. I had a hip scope and labrum repair. Even though after the surgery other surgeons said by my X-Ray that my hip dysplasia caused the tear and a scope wouldn't and didn't help. My other issue is the office, which takes weeks to make an appointment. Then on my first visit that lasted 5 minutes with the doctor, cost me $500 after what my insurance already paid. Cedars the hospital he prefers to use, the bill for the hospital only was ( $92k/ $4k after coverage)for an out patient scope procedure. Any how, expensive lesson learned. I suggest like others on here get a second opinion and if you choose Snibbe I hope you have great insurance because he and the facilities he uses are not inexpensive. To end he is a numbers guy, he wants to fill as many surgeries in any given day as possible. Even if it may not be the rut cause he will give you false hope and fit you in on their schedule. If you work hard for your money and not filthy rich, find another doctor! There are plenty of good ones. Try SCOI, alot of there procedures are done in the same building and there billing is alot easier to digest. Dont let his positivity full you! And make sure of the costs associated. A simply hip scope with great insurance cost me $8000.00 after what insurance covered. Insane!!!

Yelp
I've been a competitive runner all my life. A couple of years ago I started developing lower back and hip problems. After over a year of PT someone recommended Dr Snibee. I went to see him and I was one of 50 patients he was seeing that day (front desk nurse told me that as she was fitting me for the next visit). During the visit dr Snibee told me that he is very confident that the surgery to fix my labrum year is very common and that I would get back to competitive running within 6 month. On the day I got to the clinic for my surgery I had to sign several forms, among them a form that disclosed the fact that dr Snibee was an investor in the clinic where my surgery was performed. This always raised a red flag to me as there is a legitimate risk that the doctor will be biased toward a surgery when personal investment is also involved. After six month of PT, and feeling worse than before the surgery, and after having paid $40,000 for the surgery, I went back for another appointment and got to listen to a much more skeptical dr Snibee telling me that in medicine "we sometimes have to play God" and that nothing is certain in this field. I wish I got that skeptical attitude on the day he sold me on the surgery! When you have a hammer everything is a nail! My advice is to get multiple opinions and resort to surgery only as a last resort.

Yelp
Dr Snibbe has seen me through three surgeries and successfully helped me every time. My total reverse shoulder operations took my shoulders from intense pain I had suffered for over 10 years to pain free status and greater mobility. Thanks to Dr. Snibbe! An appointment with him and interfacing with his assistants ( Jennifer and Marco) I had wonderful experiences. Dr Snibbe is caring, takes his time explaining procedures he may perform and to his credit , never rushes you out of his office.

Yelp
The nicest and most caring doctor I know. His staff is also wonderful. He and his staff always return my telephone calls in a timely basis. Hopefully you do not need surgery, but if you do, go see Dr. Snibbe.

Yelp
His office Never follows up or returns messages. Terrible way to care about your patients. Not impressed. Either understaffed or over booked. Figure it out so you're not neglecting existing paying patients. Dr. Snibbe himself however is a good doctor once you're seen by him he provides good care. Just know that you'll be waiting on average 45 min past your appointment every time.
