"When we’re near Emory University and get hit with a dumpling craving (happens to you too, right?), we head to Dragon Bowl. This relaxed counter-service spot features a range of Pan-Asian dishes and hails from the team behind Doc Chey’s. Their Shanghai Dumplings are stuffed to the max with pork and a bit of ginger, and we always wish there were more than four. But we’ll usually add dishes like the creamy Thai coconut curry with perfectly roasted carrots (our favorite thing on their constantly changing menu) to fill us up. If you tend to order food like Meg Ryan’s super-extra character in When Harry Met Sally, create your own bowl by selecting a base, veggies, protein, and sauce, and be as particular as you like." - Juli Horsford

3.1.22 Decided to check this spot out after a run at Piedmont park. I enjoyed the food here and customer service... Established was clean... The sweet potato and broccoli was cooked very good.. I thought the chicken amount was s little low but I think they just put it all on one side of the dish. I'll go back and try the noodles one day. I thought the portion side of the whole dish was good.

Decent food, good location. Free parking and good ambience. There are a handful of options for plates but not many. The food was ok, kind of overpriced for what you get. Sauces were pretty good and there are free fortune cookies. I'd visit again if I read in the area but wouldn't necessarily recommend.

This is some of the worst “Asian” food I have had before. We got the ramen and the bibimbap. The Ramen was only a little better than top ramen. The broth was like tasteless with a strong soy sauce flavor. The only options for protein was chicken and tofu which I got. The tofu was only seared on one side and also had little taste. The bibimbap was only slightly better. For $13 and $14.50 I was shocked and urge you to find a different location to have lunch. I think the only way this place stays in business is because it is so close to Emory.

I need to break down this 4 star rating, because it's really an average of highs and lows, that I will subrate below; 5 ⭐'s for customer service. Let me highlight Hasaan, the guy working the counter. Real friendly guy, took the time to explain the menu, make suggestions and even brought our food out. We aren't local, so we had a good talk and though we took Hasaan from his job for a bit, he was the best part of the Dragon Bowl experience. 3.5⭐'s on the location as it has outdoor seating, decent parking lot and nice decor. I found the bathrooms dirtier than I stood for in my restaurant and cleanliness in the kitchen was subpar that I could see. 2.8⭐'s on the food. Frankly, the ramen lacked flavor, the sesame chicken lacked sauce, the veggies are cut too big to eat easily and the overall dishes pictured led me to feel I was in for quite the experience. The presentation is good, but the flavors just aren't there. I hope I caught this place on a bad day food wise. 4.2⭐'s on the drink options though. The dragon water and black tea were good and the lemonade was great. In summary, try for yourself. I felt it was priced a tad strong but the location is worth it, as are the seating options. I will return again in the future and amend my review if improvement occurs.

Food is sub par. They do have options for vegans and vegetarians which is good. But the flavor of the food is flat and the rice is dry. Also, they don't wok fry their noodles so basically they boil noodles and put all the stuff on top and you have to mix it. Both the drinks and the sauces are too sweet. The kale salad is mostly cabbage?? Overpriced bowls that lack flavor imagination, you can make better at home. Customer service is not friendly. $7 for 4 dumplings 🙃.

Came to Emory University for orientation with my son and we had lunch here. Great selection, different styles of noodles, and sauces. Had the crispy pork belly, raman, deep fried brussel sprouts, and vietnamese sauce. It was great! My son the ramen soup with grilled chicken and he loved it! Don't miss passing by here when on tour with your kids, you know they're going to be here all the time!

The best restaurant in Emory Village and I'm so sad they are closing on February 3rd. Always consistently great food and customer service.

I got the Panang curry, it was a good amount of food for the price. I thought it could’ve been a little bit spicier and there wasn’t enough rice, but overall very good value for the price.
