Dragon City

My recent experience was not a good one. My mom's favorite thing here is the sweet and sour chicken so I got her a large order with extra chicken. She can't eat most of it because all of the chicken is extremely old and hard. She ate as much as she could be this was just ridiculous. Though I will say if you are a crab Rangoon fan you won't be disappointed. Best rangoons I've found so far

We went into the restaurant and ordered. Then we waited for our food to be ready. We ordered the combination beef and broccoli, the combination egg foo Yung, and the sesame chicken. We also received an egg roll and fried rice with all the combos. The food was good except the egg rolls. They seemed to be something you get at the grocery store. They were not that tasty. The fried rice could also be improved by adding a few more vegetables like peas, carrots, and scrambled eggs. All that was in the rice was a little bit of onion and the pork pieces for pork fried rice. The atmosphere inside was uncomfortable. I would not eat there because the air smelled like grease. They also have an area where they are storing supplies in the eating area. I find this common in Asian restaurants. I believe it to be inappropriate and cluttered, making it uncomfortable and uninviting to sit and eat. They also have a menu in the window by the entrance that is very faded and makes all the food look one color and unappetizing. They need an exhaust fan and some updated menus. They could also get their supplies out of the eating area. If a place looks good, then people are more likely to visit. Also, the ratings would improve.

This is our new go to delivery Chinese food place from now on. We ordered chicken on a stick, sesame shrimp and crab Rangoon. Everything was very good and very fresh tasting. The tender, juicy and flavorful. The shrimp was huge and really enjoyed the sauce on them. Crab Rangoon was delicious I just didn't care for how sweet it was but still good.

Food is very bland. I ordered crab Rangoon but after eating 2 and encountering no crab I opened the last two also not have any crab. I ordered extra mushrooms received 6 pieces of mushrooms that might total one whole mushroom. My vegetables had zero seasoning and were grossly undercooked. The only thing good about my order was the Uber Eats delivery.

I ordered for delivery through Door Dash and got a message that Dragon City does their own deliveries. The delivery was supposed to take 45-60 minutes. I called the store 60 minutes after I placed the order and was told that my order was on the way but they were very busy. 90 minutes after placing my order it was delivered. When you switched to self delivery you should have had a better plan. I always give second chances and I will order again. But next time do better. Great food by the way.

This is always my go-to for Asian food! They do have a dining area, and they bring your food out to you. I normally call ahead, and my food is ready in 10 to 15 minutes for pickup. I have never been anything but satisfied. Great employees that work hard. Ask for a side of their hot sauce. It is amazing!

Portion sizes are generous, so you really get great value for your money. Everything I’ve tried has been flavorful and satisfying. It’s affordable, reliable, and consistently delicious—definitely my go-to spot for Chinese takeout!

Fantastic Chinese takeout found on Central, slightly west of St Paul. Here is a spot with a loaded menu at reasonable prices, which has become a most reliable stop for American-style Chinese food. My latest order consisted of cashew chicken and veggie lo mein with white rice, and all of it was another score of a meal for two on the go. Call-ins are highly suggested but I can’t recommend dining in. I do, however, recommend this Dragon City for a quality carry out order for those on the west side of Wichita.

We took advantage of the take out option. The food was quickly prepared, delicious, and a good value.

This is our go to take out Chinese. Consistent in quality and taste and better than the other places close by to our house.

I placed an online order about 45 minutes ago. So it should be arriving right now. However, when I called the store about 20 minutes ago to make sure everything was okay, they told me their website was down and they did not have a record of my order. They said they said they were very busy and they would get to it as quickly as possible. However, there was a 10% discount on the website, which they would not let me use because they were having website issues. So now my order is over 1 hour late. It's very frustrating because the delivery times for lee's dragon city have declined in the past two or three months and their food is so good.

Omg! So flipping good!! the crab puffs and won tons (pot stickers) as appetizer, Mongolian beef Lo MEIN and Orange chicken with delivery.. fast delivery and great food! Totally recommend!

Rude service all I wanted was a little simple, hot mustard couldn't do that food sucked and when I called and complained, they didn't give a shit and they told me to put it on here because you know what their business is gonna be amazing without me

I ordered through their website. They were very prompt. The food was hot, fresh and tasted good. Their portion sizes were good. Overall, for takeout, it was a good choice. I would probably update this review after trying the restaurant in person. I can always tell better about the quality and service if served on the spot. But this place was good.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for many years. After placing my order tonight I was called by the delivery driver who asked me if I was going to tip him. After telling him I planned on tipping him, I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner, Jimmy Liu. I asked him if delivery of my order was contigent upon tipping the driver. He said, yes, it would be. Really??? Apparently you can't order delivery unless you tip in advance. Not going to give them anymore of my business. Their food is on par, but you're taking a gamble on receiving your order once you place it.

Lots of food for a reasonable price. The food was well prepared, flavorful and fresh. I will return to Dragon City next time I am in the mood for a Chinese meal.

The General Tso Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Orange Beef, Lo Mein, and Fried rice are very good. The gravy for the Egg Foo Young was not edible, and the condiments and utensils I requested for my food delivery were not provided for my order. Overall I was pleased with my order. It fulfilled my Chinese Food craving, and I would order from Dragon City again.

Disgusting. Worst food I have had in a long long long time. Possibly ever. Wasn't fresh. Smelled disgusting never ever ever will I return. Complete waste of mone

I like coming here for lunch. They have lunch specials under $6 with a good large selection to choose from. You'll get a good portion with fried rice and 2 crab Rangoon. I also like their express wings with garlic sauce.

Always amazing food! Sometimes it has been wrong which is an issue when you have an allergy. Always double check your food before leaving. No complaints though.

So I have driven by this place a lot, never thought to stop. I am somewhat of a restaurant visual snob when I have never eaten there before. Well any way the other day I ordered delivery online from this place because it seemed to have good reviews and they delivered. That and it wasn't pizza! The food was amazing! So today we are doing the where to eat game and my husband says I chose last night. I won't go into how badly his decision to eat at Chili's went besides it was a reminder of why we don't eat there often. I decided I wanted Sesame Seed Chicken so I looked up where I ordered delivery and we went there. It isn't a place I would normally go, remember I am sort of a visual snob on what the building looks like. Yet, this didn't matter to me now because I knew their food was GOOD! We both got the Sesame Seed Chicken with 8 Crab Rangoon. Neither of us were able to finish our plates, we also got like 10 Crab Rangoons! This was all for $21.00 which is a steal! Good thing it is cold out so it can stay in the trunk as we are out today because this is going with us!! Also they do not have soda machine dispenser they sell bottles and cans of soda. Both Pepsi and Coke. If you like the Pepsi part, I am sorry, but you are forgiven. This place is amazing!! Oh and when we ordered the delivery we got our food, which was AMAZING and we got chicken wings, French fries, a 2 liter of Coke all of which we did not order, yet was delivered to us with our name on it. SCORE!! Just another reason to love this place, they take care of their customers!!

The best chicken wings I've had in wichita, Always good and always plenty. General Taos chicken is usually my favorite here, until I discovered the wings. I highly recommend this restaurant

Never noticed this place, but found it searching Yelp for Chinese close to our new office. Headed there around 11 today and placed an order to go. I ordered the rice noodles w/ chicken, and egg roll, and small order of crab rangoon (4). Loved everything! Still have plenty for another meal, too :) I'll definitely be back to try more items off their HUGE menu.

Ordered the Chow Mein Fun. See picture for what I got... it is suppose to be served with thin white noodles. Instead, I received gelatinous white chicken with a few soggy strips of celery lol... My search for good Chinese food in Wichita, KS continues. spring rolls were so so.

The General Tso's Chicken tasted very old. Like it had been left in the freezer forever. Definitely not hand made. No veggies, no peppers. The chicken chow mien was fresh with thin sliced chicken and vegetables. The dumplings were stiff around the edges, so-so filling, like frozen too long. Beef and broccoli was over-sauced. Broccoli soggy and a minimum amount of beef. A few water chestnuts, no bamboo shoots.

The food here is awesome! Wish I could say something about the staff but we got take out during covid so no such luck, sorry. But I will say they have amazing won ton soup. Unfortunately no pics this time as it was all boxes up for take out.

This is a Chinese food place I will definitely visit again. We ordered lunch specials: cashew chicken and sesame chicken. The girl who took our order brought hot and fresh, delicious crab Rangoon to our table as an appetizer. The food was delivered to us as soon as it was done cooking. It was all very delicious and the was a lot of it. It's a very self-serve restaurant: get your own drink, get our own to-go box. It's also not the most aesthetically pleasing place, but the food makes up for it. You should definitely give it a try.

Amazing fish dish! Fresh, tasty, well made, and feel good after. We like it so much will def go back for more soon.

The wontons taste and feel like recycled shredded rubber they use to make playgrounds with. The chicken in the Lo Mein was completely tasteless, no flavor at all. Also, that meal is basically half onions anyway, and bland rice. But hey, at least it's affordable gross Chinese food ‍

Like many previous reviews, I certainly ordered too much food. I do appreciate that you can order different sizes for soups and some of the meals! First off, service was pretty darn good, ordered online and was here within 20-30 minutes and didn't seem to have a problem finding my apartment (like most of my friends do lol) The delivery guy was awesome, very friendly. We ordered the steamed dumplings, small hot and sour soup, hunan beef, and chicken chow mein. Hot and sour soup was so darn hot I thought it was going to melt the plastic container it was in. It was very good once it cooled down. Hearty portions of mushrooms, tofu, carrots, egg, etc. Steamed dumplings were to die for. And you get 8 for a very reasonable price! Hunan beef was just above the average human beef but not by much. Decent portions-comes with rice. May just be me but I didn't find it spicy enough. I may have to request that next time. Girlfriend said she liked her chicken chow mein Final thoughts: portions are great, along with taste, however prices are a little steep for dinner. Order lunch for much reasonable price. Again, service shouldn't be an issue. We never have any. I definitely recommend

OMG delicious! I haven't gotten a single bad cooked meal from here! I swear it's the absolute best! Whether delivery, take out, or dine in I've never had a bad experience. Cheap and delicious! Easily the best Chinese food in Wichita and for the best price. I always get the shrimp lo mein, Crab Rangoon it combination rice! But their sesame chicken is phenomenal too!

A hole in the wall kind of place, but the food was tasty, arrived quickly and very affordable.

My wife and I were in town visiting my family for the holidays. After a long day at the zoo we walked in (skeptical at first). Everyone was so nice and it had a family style feel to it. All of our food was so fresh and amazing. We were happily surprised. We also had enough leftover for lunch the next day. Most definitely recommend and holds true to the saying "do not judge a book by its cover".

Went to their website and placed my order but could not check out as it seems that the $35 I was spending was not enough for them to deliver. I am very disappointed in their greed by requiring a minimum of $50 to place an online order for delivery. As I do like their food, there are lots of other places that will deliver without a minimum amount of $50 order to be placed. Will not do business with them as there are plenty of other places that have good, if not better food.

Amazing food and they deliver! Such an underrated place. I went back three times in one week with a new person each time just to show them how good the food is.

So I'm new to wichita and don't know what restaurants are good yet so i ordered delivery from here last night and it was amazing! Chicken wings (i got whole garlic wings) were Huge, crisp and so full of flavor! i usually like dipping sauce but it was completely unnecessary the flavor was excellent my itself. I also ordered the chicken curry combo and it was spectacular, fried rice was excellently seasoned and the curry was on point. I paid only $16 and that included delivery fee (not including the tip i left) but the portions were totally worth it. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Super yummy and their portions are huge. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the food came out fast and fresh! Fav Chinese appt in Wichita. They also deliver which is a plus and their lunch prices are amazing.

I have a job where I work an unusual schedule with a constantly changing workload. Much of the time I cannot leave for lunch if I didn't have time to pack one from home, so I have to rely upon places that deliver. I was pleased to see that Dragon City delivered and took online orders, however, I discovered that their account/payment portion was not visible as being a secure site, so I called in my order instead. Dragon City does have a thorough menu and decided upon orange chicken and hot & sour soup (which is one of the things I order all the time and really influences my overall opinion of a Chinese restaurant). I placed my order at 4:30 pm and it arrived approximately 15 later. It came with the customary fortune cookie and packeted condiments, but no chopsticks or plastic ware. Fortunately I had my own. The hot & sour soup had a nice aroma and was adequate at first taste. I switched to the orange chicken and was very pleased as it had nice orange flavor with plenty of rind, not too sweet, and pleasantly spicy. Returning to the soup I noticed that the broth had a noticeable flavor of mushroom which I had missed initially. It carried well but was eventually overpowered by the spiciness, so if you want to enjoy the flavor of the mushrooms eat it alternately with rice or your main dish. The soup also had a very good balance of vegetables as opposed to being overrun with celery or bamboo shoot as many hot & sour Soups tend to be. The fried wonton paper strips were fresh, flavorful, and not at all greasy. Overall I was quite pleased with my first experience with Dragon City and look forward to trying other menu items in the future.

We LOVE DC, ordering from them 1 - 2 x a week. The food is so good and our orders are always correct., delivered quickly and HOT. We stumbled upon them months ago when our local Chinese delivery restaurant wasn't open and very happily surprised they would deliver to our address.

Some of the best Chinese we have had in a very long time. Place is small and not much on atmosphere, but what it lacks in style they make up for with service, so helpful and friendly. We tried several different items and everything was fantastic. I see they deliver, if we lived here this would be a staple for us!

Sadly the food has gone downhill and the quality just isn't there anymore. Chicken on both the general tso's and the sesame was old and very fatty. Couldn't even bite into the broccoli and for the send time in a row, they forgot my request of the spicy homemade mustard.

The last couple of times, the staff has failed to notice my internet orders on the printer. Sunday night, I gave them an extra five minutes to go pick up my order, only to find that my order was still on the printer, meaning that instead of 15 minutes for my order, it took 45 MINUTES, an additional 30 minutes sitting in the restaurant, playing Zen Koi II. No one apologized, no one gave me a discount, and when I left and drove around the back of the building, the back door was standing wide open, no screen door, which I have to think is some sort of health department infraction. The food's still okay, but some of the elements have gone downhill - their "express wings" were WAY over-cooked.

We love that Dragon City delivers! I can call in an order for delivery when I leave work and it's arriving to my house about 15 minutes later when I arrive home. The food is tasty and the menu is large. Friendly staff and well priced.

Called in order for pick-up- was ready in 15 minutes. Some of the best Coconut Shrimp I have ever had! Great fried rice too! Friendly employees. Will be back!

My go to delivery place for several years. The Orange chicken is tasty and the fried rice is always very good. Sweet and Sour chicken is a better option for the kids rather than their "chicken nuggets" but the fries are usually quite good. The Szechwan tofu is the best in town! I appreciate that they have hot sauce packets at request. My only concern it the hot and sour soup sometimes smells slightly like ammonia...what's up with that?
