What a wonderful surprise along Highland Valley Road. A rare treat in San Diego. Very friendly family helped us out. We had four types of dragon fruit as a sample and purchased three. They are only open a few days a year, so go soon!

I had a telephone encounter with Dragon-Delights. They shipped a variety of dragon fruit from CA to NY. It arrived in excellent condition. My granddaughter was pleasantly surprised. She loves dragon fruit. The farmer called to ask if the package was delivered to her and the condition of the dragon fruit. I paid for two day shipping, insurance and signature required for delivery. Tracking showed delivery to “dock” and person who signed for it. It was delivered to her college dorm. I will purchase from this farmer again. We got excellent customer service and the dragon fruit was delicious.

Great day! We got to sample several species of dragon fruit which helped us choose which ones to buy. Their fruit was definitely less expensive than grocery store dragon fruit and we love supporting small business so either way we were fine with their prices. We loved that it was an educational trip too, as there were so many fun facts posted everywhere. Curious alpacas, friendly farm dogs, and shaggy sheep roaming about! Remember that this is a working farm, folks, and they do have animals loose on the property so it's probably respectful to inquire first before bringing pets along with you. Wonderful family; wonderful farm!

Yelp
I have been waiting to go to one of their open days but I was afraid I might miss the opportunity. The other day a friend told me about Dragon Delights' "misfit" fruit - those that are too small or too big for commercial sales. They have a couple more open farm days this season, but not this weekend, so I decided to place an online order. Really user-friendly website and very obvious what you are getting. Great instructions on how / where to pick up and the signage coming onto the farm is very helpful too. And when I went to the pickup area I met Layton, who couldn't be friendlier. I saw some critters on the other side of the property, including one that looked like a brown bear (but I knew it wasn't) and it was a brown llama! They also have sheep. ANYWAY my husband and I shared a Maria Fucshia fruit after dinner last night and it was out of the world delicious! The perfect amount of sweet and tart. I had a couple spoonfuls of the sorbet and oh my, where has it been all my life? I'm in love with dragonfruit!

Yelp
Their Open Day event was Fantablicious. That's my word for Fantastic Fabulous and Delicious combined. We took a family Sunday funday drive up to Ramona for this free public tasting event. If you love organic products you might really like this farm. Kevin gave us an educational walking tour through the dragonfruit isles. Time slots are provided and is $8 per adult. We did the last tour held at 3pm. He also prides on the plants that he grew from seed that are also native to his Australian roots. They have a huge pride in what they do here and it absolutely shows in the fruits of their labor. Pitaya smoothies are something I crave and little did I know how nutritional this dragon fruit actually is! Now I'm going to feel way less guilty when I get one from my favorite boba place. They have fruit, plants, sparkling water, etc for sale. You can even see & pet sheep and llamas! I highly recommend checking out this venue.
