Yelp
U.S.A. you were born to rage, so come on!
Hawaiian shirts, express shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, jean shorts, chuck taylors, flats - no problem. Drai's After Hours has to be the most casual club that I've ever been to. Don't get me wrong, I saw some sharp outfits that night, but frumpy casual attire was the theme.
It starts getting lively at around 3:30am and it starts to die out at around 7am. Trust me, you don't want to be that fool leaving at 8-9am. It's such a trip leaving the dark and red basement club and taking the elevator up to exit. Right when the elevator doors open you're struck with bright sunshine and lights. Then you think to yourself, OMG we've been partying all night! What time is it? No really. Wait...What day is it? Lol. Wow.
The staff, (for the most part) were on top of their game here! All of the bouncers we interacted with were helpful and professional. I watched the security and ushers patrolling the club, scan continually for people that couldn't hang and they were on top of it - they were also professional and not at all rude. Also the bussers worked crazy hard all night - wiping, cleaning, and mopping up any spills instantly. I rarely see clubs put that much effort into keeping the club pristine during the event. Plus the bottle service girls were sweet and friendly. They didn't make us feel pressured to buy anything, just kept checking on us to make sure we were good.
Though, I can't speak for the bartenders behind the bar, a lot of them were bitchy. Some bartenders offered us free iced waters in glass cups, but when we asked for water for our DD, a few bartenders bitched about it, trying to force us to buy bottled waters for $5. No thanks lady. No tip for you.
My favorite part about this club is the ample amount of comfy seating. It's first come first serve, but you can sit at any of the bottle service plush leather couches (all night) until someone buys the table. Also, the restroom attendant has anything you can think of ever needing in the club: Altoids, gum, all brands of perfume, body spray, new hair ties, seriously everything (perfect for those that have been out all night partying, girl, refresh yoself!) - Just be sure to tip her.
I'll let you in on a little secret. The pros weigh out all of the cons here. This place is perfect for the serious night owl.
