Super chill atmosphere and excellent food. The Korean BBQ wings were awesome with a little spicy kick. The Buffalo chicken tater tots was fantastic and the burger was killer. Nice place to chill with friends and have a couple of beers on tap and good food.

Google
I really like this microbrewery. They've got some solid food choices and a good drink selection. Love that you can order and pay by QR code. I regularly tip, but I do get mixed feelings on the tipping though since the only service you get now is for alcoholic beverages. You have to pick up your own food and water. You also have to bus after yourself, which kind of defeats the point of dining out and tipping for service. Overall, I still like this place and would recommend to others. Ambiance: 4.5/5 Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4.5/5 Price: 4.5/5 Service: N/A Overall: 4.4/5

Aug 25 2024 Very enjoyable!! Please grind the pipe. Aug 24 2024 Great food and outstanding beers!!! Brian, please make sure they grind down the pipe under the table. Outstanding staff. Serve was perfect!! 2018 Great place to relax, get a quick bite, and enjoy some awesome beer. Great selection of beers from 4% to 12%. Degnogenizer is excellent, and I also love their Black Porter. Good selection of burgers, sandwiches, pita, tater tots, etc. The 1st Friday of the month they have a party that benefits a local organization, like a school. The beer served here is brewed here.

Google
I visited Drake’s on a hot Friday night. We had a great time! I’ve been to their other locations, including the one in West Sac and Oakland. Each location has its own unique charm. I especially like this spot because of its spacious parking lot and both indoor and outdoor seating. They also had the sports game on TV. The beer selection is fantastic.

Google
It was an afternoon meetup with an old friend and Drake's was the perfect call. The lager beers use a lot of Admiral malts, so local beers + local malts = amazingly fresh beer. Couple that with the great community of folks they've built and the weather being spot on: Drake's nailed it.

Always love to go and have a flight at Drake's. Good tasting beer, no matter your beer preference.

Google
It was a nice spot, close to work. The happy hour special was actually really food. We all got some tots, original/spicy/garlic, and they were all delicious. The shredded pork sandwich was great. It had a little kick to it, but nothing unbearable. Two of us had the mangu slushy with chamoy, and it was GOOOOD. Can't complain and we will be back.

Google
Easy to find even if it is hidden behind a shopping center. Lots of free parking. Love the patio. Lots of beers on tap. Tried all their sours available. Most are promising. Great food selection. Must try their Jalopeño Burger, Garlic Nachitos, and Garlic Tots.

Yelp
Cool spot to grab a few beers on tap. Nice indoor and outdoor space. The bartenders were going out of their way to be of service. You can order some light bites from the food truck outside. Tons of options beer wise, they also have some slushy options if that is your jam. I wish they had some sort of happy hour to help drive people in at a certain time and to get a little price relief, but it seems no breweries in the bay area offer this. When I went with friends on a Saturday in July mid afternoon, there were about a dozen other people there. It was dead. I've gotten growler fills in the past, so this is an option if you have a growler and want to take some to go. Surrounding area can be a little sketch b/c of the walmart.

Yelp
We are big fans of Drakes. Been here a couple times. Tons of great beers. We do buy them a lot for home and you can find Drakes everywhere so that's nice (incidentally I bought the 12 pack of four different beers this morning from Target). One of the great Bay Area breweries, Drakes deserves your support.

Yelp
Celebrate a friends birthday here and it was a fun time! This spot is a perf spot for groups because the place is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating! Also, dog friendly!! I heard that they have events on friday nights too, so I def will come back and check it out. The food options were delish and the price is not too bad! Its good shareable apps for everyone to munch on while drinking a beer or in my case, frozen mangonada! They have a huge variety of beer options and even have flights. Service is great, they were picking up empty glasses and dishware. Checked on everyone. Even gave the birthday girl a complimentary beer!

Yelp
Love coming to Drake's, it's definitely my go to if I want a chill place to have a beer, watch a game or just meet up with friends. The bartenders are always super nice, the vibe is always chill and the food truck is consistent. Definitely recommend, especially for their special events!

Yelp
Celebrated Cinco De Mayo here by myself while my wife shopped at Walmart next door. If you are following, in my last review, I said I am NOT coming to this Walmart anymore and I am willing to pay extra to NOT come here. But I have NO problem hanging out at Drakes while she shops. Actually, because the lines are so long on weekends, I can have at least two beers, LOL. Quality/Quantity - Tracksuit Sunday - Newest IPA, and started with this. Juicy Hoot - Okay, my wife/Walmart took so long I got two more of this. After 3 IPAs, I was done for the day. I also sampled the following beers: Meebers, Aroma Coma, Jolly Roger, and I'm not sure but I think I tried right before leaving the Santa's Brass...? All was good, but the last two were just too strong for me, both in flavor and alcohol wise. Food also available, see menu. I remember when we were allowed to bring our own food, or am I outdating myself, lol. Might come back to try out their lunch specials one of these days. Atmosphere - I watched as this place changed from a production facility to what it is today. Very cool. I come here more often than I should, that is what shopping at Walmart will do to me... I actually noticed both the Walmarts I frequent have a brewery next door?!?! Is this done strategically? Reno, NV Walmart has my Schussboom Brewing. Or do I use Walmart as an excuse to go to the brewery?!?! Good size, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Heated outdoor seating for the cold evenings/days, see picture. Table, counter top, booth, picnic table seating, etc. One huge TV (actually 4 TVs put together to make one). Two unisex bathrooms. Semi open kitchen, see picture. Free wifi. To-go case - In case (pun intended) Walmart's lines are actually short, lol. Merchandise for sale, see picture. Dog friendly. Service - 5 stars, of course not too many of us day drinkers today, lol. Many specials, see pictures or websites. I also like the fact that you got self service water throughout the entire place, thank you. Price - $25 + generous tips; expensive for 3 beers, but that is the cost for quality. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1989, since 2011 at this location, and since 2015 at your Oakland location. When did you open "The Barn" in West Sacramento? I need to check this place out; it looks cool on your website. 1989 - Lind Brewery to Drake's Brewery. 1998 - Sold brewery to local coffee company. 2004 - Denogginizer Double IPA was born/created. 2008 - New ownership. 2011 - This location opens. 2015 - Oakland location opens. 2018 - First can beer. 2018 - Sacramento location opens.

Yelp
What can I say, I am a huge craft beer enthusiast and aficionado. And considering that "Drake's Barrel House" has been around since the 80's (you heard that right), this place has been a trendsetter for many Bay Area breweries, tap houses, and craft beer halls to many new places. Having been opened since 1989, just about every Bay Area beer fanatic has been to this place and considering I lived in the Bay until 2001, I never got the chance to visit until just recently. Located in the heart of San Leandro and right off of the 580 freeway and Davis St. exit, Drake's is notoriously known for being tucked away in a shopping center that is anchored by a Wal-Mart and Home Depot as well as other major retailers such as Burlington, Ross, and Togo's Sandwiches. I must admit, it was a little challenging finding this place at first. But when you drive to where Wal-Mart is near the loading area, you will see the entrance complete with all the barrels. It definitely threw me off but now I know for future visits if I happen to come here again. As I mentioned, don't let the location deter you from coming here as many think of this part of town not being the safest as well as being crime-ridden. As long as you park as close to here as you can, lock your vehicle, and walk with a friend or two, you should be fine. Upon entering, you will notice a huge wraparound outdoor patio area which is great for the sunnier days. The inside is absolutely huge with ample seating that can fit at least a hundred people comfortably. Their menu is also very extensive with several lagers, sours, stouts and IPA's to accommodate all beer tastes. Since I was driving and only wanted a small sample of what they had to offer, I went with two of their lighter beers; their "Dog Walker Pilsner" and their "Bold Rush Liquid Cold". Both were excellent and set to the perfect chilled temperature. They have a very progressive menu that is ever-changing on a monthly basis. I also wanted to add that they have a nice little food selection including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and tots. They even have a dog-friendly menu selection as Drake's welcomes all breeds of dogs. All in all, "Drake's Brewing Company" is the real deal and as good as it gets for a quality brewery. Since I live in the Sacramento area, I've frequented their sister location, "Drake's: The Barn" on several occasions. Only difference is that is exclusively an outdoor only spot. However, as far as the O.G. San Leandro location goes, when you factor in the authenticity, beer selection, service, and price, I am giving this one a unanimous five-star rating.

Yelp
August 9, 2023: Lol~I HAD TO MAKE ANOTHER DESPERATE BEER RUN! Why? Because according to meeting David and the Drake's Bartender: Drake's--The Barn in West Sacramento can't refill their own growlers due to serving high-test alcohol, i.e., liquor . . . It's an egregiously LAME, IMHO--A CA STATE LAW REGULATION with regards to possessing a beer and liquor license . . . Oh, well~ Aside, WOOOOF! I purchased a bottle of DEATH, i.e., 12.9% ALCOHOL CONTENT: Both my Son-In-Law and I slithered and melded to the kitchen floor after inhaling THIS beer! Moreover, I posted Drake's Barrel House menu, i.e., Beer Run PROOF I visited~LOL! I'll be BACK!!!! Lol!

Yelp
Maybe go to 21st amendment instead Fried chicken sandwich - dry chicken, dry slaw, dry bread - had to add our own mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce to make it acceptable Totchos - tasty, but no where near as loaded as I'd want it, it's littoral just a sprinkle of ingredients Death of the Sun - very nice chocolatey bourbon stout. Very delicious to enjoy, would get again because of the taste and complexity The guys at the bar super nice and really into the details of the beer, guys at the food stand pretty unhelpful, was ignored when I was trying to figure where order, literally tried to walk to the window becausethe people manning that station acted like customers Overall was impressed by the beer , and would come back just for the beer, definitely not the food

Yelp
Excellent spot before an A's game. We've often come here for food and drinks, and it's a short Uber ride to the stadium. Ordering food and drinks can be done from your phone, and service is really prompt. Lots of space, both indoor and outdoor. Drake's beer speaks for itself - if you haven't tried Hopocalypse it's a tasty hazy DIPA staple, give it a shot. Like many breweries, they've embraced the Hazy craze, but not just for the sake of sales, their hazies are excellent. They've added Juicy Hoot and Hazing Saddles and I enjoyed both. If you're not a Hazy person, there are plenty of choices - pils, hefe, stout, lagers, sours - pick your poison. The tater tots are a good compliment to the beer selection. When the A's pack up for Vegas, I'll surely find another excuse to head up for some good beer and food.

Yelp
Drakes is located behind Walmart so drive back a little further and you will find more parking. They have plenty of seating inside and outside so depending on the weather it is nice in either area. They have a food cart to order food at the bar when you order your beer. They have a great selection of beers to choose from. The staff are always nice and helpful when I have a question about the beer.

Yelp
Of the warehouse breweries in San Leandro, this is by far the best and most comfortable, with the best beer. It'a difficult to find being in the back of a large shopping center, but this makes it quieter. There's an access road just past Walmart which goes straight back to the brewing facilities and taproom. This is a large operation, as all the beer is made and distributed from here around the country, with 24 beers on-tap regularly. The open air design of the warehouse breweries in this area are all pisspoor and fortunately they have shaded areas outside which are comfortable and keep you from constant perspiration here, which is a real problem at 21st Amendment down the street, where it's warmer in the warehouse than outside. Drake's also has functional indoor bathrooms and a large amount of beer available for taking home. They have a wide variety of beer styles and don't have a limited polarizing selection of only West Coast IPA, which has become a real problem in the Bay Area. The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. They have the brewing operation in other buildings, which makes the customer experience far better. Basically, this place is the best in the area and 21st Amendment (with it'a long history) is the worst, despite also being down the street. The food ordering system is odd, but a product of the pandemic. The food is good, but not the largest portions. Currently they use a pager system. The salads come in boxes, but tastier then expected, however without dressing. The seating areas are spread out so you can find a comfortable, quiet spot that's not climatically uncomfortable. The beers aren't available in tasting flights, but they will happily give you a small sample to try new beers you haven't had yet. They have enough styles you can't enjoy all of them in one visit. They also have trivia nights and local music at times. It'd be helpful if they had additional umbrellas outside and explored air conditioning the tap room, as it's not part of the brewing operation, which was a very wise choice when designing the operation. They have a location in Oakland in an old historic car dealership and a larger facility in Sacramento which has concerts near the river, but I haven't visited either. This is the main facility, so it's focused on beer production and distribution, but is workable enough to be relaxing, whereas the other breweries in this industrial area are not. You can easily see how they've tried to address the issues this areas industrial setup brings, whereas the other breweries haven't...making them defective and uncomfortable. I loom forward to trying the rest of the offerings with successive visits. They could put together an impressive brewery tour if they ever were so inclined. This brewery is about as large as you can get and still be independent without becoming a massive worldwide operation. Drake's hard work over the years was evident in my first visit. They have a far larger selection of cask conditioned ales than you'll likely find anywhere else and this is why they use the barrel house moniker. I'd suspect they'll remain at their present size unless they decide to expand and become a corporation. It'a nice they haven't and they still have control over the entire operation with high quality. They're dog friendly and just ask that canine companions remain seated with their owners. I wasn't aware of combined food and beer deals until I saw other reviews, so I'm enquiring about this my next visit. You can also order beer and food on their website as well, which allows for fast pickup of beer to-go as well.

Yelp
Great Hidden spot with lots of space to find a place to sit at. Lots of Beers to pick from and great food selection.

Yelp
A team event planned, took us Drake's Barrel House. Pretty good parking spots and great customer service. Food at such places is usually a hit or miss though with us it definitely was a hit outta the park. More future work and fun visits to Drake's for sure!!!

Dave F.

Yelp
Once a favorite haunt in San Leandro, this spot now feels a bit overshadowed by the emergence of new breweries in the area. While still a delightful venue for sunny day outings, offering ample seating, it seems to lag slightly behind its competitors in terms of value. Both the food and beer are priced a tad higher, which has made our visits less frequent. On the bright side, the establishment's redeeming quality is its amiable and diligent staff, which continues to make each visit pleasant.

Jeanne T.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend for those who enjoy breweries/beers to stop by - the vibes are immaculate, the staff was super nice, and the service was amazing! recently stopped by to grab a drink; it was such a fun space to be at! some of my favorite elements would be the spacious indoor seating area whether you're visiting with a bigger or smaller party - you'd be sure to find a spot that works for you. they do have some outdoor seating available which i feel like would be super nice especially when the weather gets better! i personally tried drake's ipa - best coast India pale ale which i enjoyed as it had some earthiness intermixed with some slight hints of citrusy flavors. tips: - for some reason, i had such a hard time finding this spot :( so for those who struggled to find drake's it's directly next to walmart and slightly deviated to the side/past the small parking lot! - unisex bathroom available - lots of parking available - friends, family, dates, and groups friendly - foods available but i didn't order any to try

Yelp
Had an amazing time! Wound up here because 21st amendment wasn't open on 4th of July . Made the best of it and this place worked! Love the Bette Davis Eyes sour but also tried some IPA's that I didn't hate either. Would come back for Brian as he had me cracking up the entire time and could sympathize working in the industry. Love this place!

Yelp
Dropped by for the first time yesterday afternoon with my husband. The courtyard is nice and open and the perfect place to enjoy the warm weather we were having. Just note that on a Saturday, the tables fill up fast and not all of them have umbrellas to shield from the shade, so if it's too hot at one of the open non-shaded tables you may have to eat inside. There are signs around the courtyard instructing guests to place orders via QR code, but there were no QR codes at any of the tables. My husband went inside to ask about it and they told him that they don't start having guests order by QR code until the busy summer months, to prevent large lines from building up. So, somewhat confusing instructions, but it got resolved quickly. On the Saturday that we came here, there were a handful of vendors selling wares at the back of the courtyard. Not sure if they rotate out or how often they have vendors, but I thought that was pretty cool. The food menu isn't huge but has a good variety of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. (Check inside for a specials board, too.) We went with the spicy pulled pork sandwich and the burger and got an order of the salt and pepper tater tots with each. I was disappointed by how small the sandwich and burger were. My husband and I split them because we each wanted to try both, but by the time we finished our food I was still pretty hungry. However, they were really good, which had me wanting more. The pulled pork sandwich had a good amount of heat to it, a nice spicy kick, and a decent amount of pork piled into it. The burger was grilled and had a nice char; make sure to get your condiments from inside. The tater tots were very crispy, but I didn't taste any pepper. My husband got the Goldeneye and Patches O'Houlihan beers and really liked them both equally. The live band (a trio) that was playing was good and helped create an overall pleasant afternoon. While the experience as a whole was very nice, the food was just alright but mostly due to the small portions. Granted, this is a brewery, so the focus is on the beer, but the food at Drake's Dealership was significantly better when we lived in Oakland and would walk there from time to time. So from a food perspective, this was a letdown and especially compared to the Oakland location's. But I'd be happy to come here again just to enjoy the nice courtyard with my husband while he enjoys a couple of beers, and maybe share an order of tater tots. Also happy to support local San Leandro businesses and help encourage more to open up here; when I was growing up in San Leandro, we struggled to get places like this to open here, so I'm glad to be able to help them thrive today.

Yelp
Nice ambience and lots of seating space. Music is good. S the service is average. Please make sure you eat before you come to this place. The food is terrible and overpriced. $7 for a coke. It's laughable

Yelp
We got there on a Saturday around 6:45 pm...PARKING is HORRIBLE !!! once we found parking in the Walmart parking lot we walked through a fenced area, the entrance was a opened bay door. There is a small outdoor seating area, a large indoor area with lots of seats, one large TV. Gender neutral bathrooms...welcome to our bathroom nightmare gentlemen. The areas were worn but nice and clean. Great beer selections both on tap and for sale in cooler. Sadly the bartenders have no personality. The older male was so dismissive I decided not to have a beer. My companion encouraged me to try a beer. I decided I would go to the lady bartender...she wasn't much of an improvement. Nevertheless, I ordered the Drake burger...it wasn't anything special. I could make better at home and not pay $13.50. My companion had the Blue cheese burgers.. he really enjoyed it. It cost $15.00. I went to settle the tab, I noticed the receipt doesn't have the bartender's names on it, just Bartender B. Overall, I would not recommend this location. Like I said PARKING IS HORRIBLE, the milk toast bartender's just add to the negative experience. Unless I need something from Walmart I'll pass next time. There are way more breweries out there to try.

Gabriel V.

Yelp
The drinks were fantastic and the people who work there are chill and very nice! Food is very delicious too and the whole place was very cool.

Marc K.

Yelp
This place has always been great for a relaxing hang with friends, munch on goodies and have a good beer. Staff is friendly and very interactive. Open warehouse atmosphere but the improved lighting helps, although there are still some dark areas. Unfortunately, no more pork belly sandwiches but the wings and tots are pretty good.

Michelle C.

Yelp
First off- parking here is terrible. Very small, awkward lot. The beers are good, and I like that they offer food, but the parking alone makes me hesitate coming here. More recently visited on a weekday afternoon & the parking lot was completely full. We circled around the Walmart twice & ended up parking in an overflow lot towards the back. Not sure that that was even parking for Drake's but no one said anything about it. Menu is available via QR code. We each ordered a lunch special that consisted of a sandwich, tots (or salad), and a pint of beer for $15. Not bad at all. I do wish that when when choosing which beer to add to the lunch special, it had a description of each one. It only listed the name & we all blindly guessed what we were getting. Decent place to chill and have a beer. Dog-friendly and appreciated the rainbow flags & signs about being accepting and inclusive to all!

Jessica Y.

Yelp
Love drinking Drake's Flyway Pilsner in the bottles and glasses, so I had to try it from the tap at Drake's Barrel House! Definitely 10/10!! We got the loaded tots with bacon, sour cream, and green onion to go with our drinks. The food was a bit oily and salty (only downside). A lot of seating indoor and outdoors. The place is very bustling and can be a bit loud! The bartenders worked pretty fast and were friendly. Definitely check this place out!

Stacy L.

Yelp
Love the people here! The location is a bit weird but there's plenty of parking at the shopping plaza nearby. There's always food trucks that have delicious choices that goes perfectly with any of the beers they have available. Everyone is always super friendly here and we always have a great time!

Uday M.

Yelp
We've been coming here for a few months. It's a great vibe and selection of beer (usually 20-25 things on tap), and they always have a couple options each for ciders, lagers, stouts, etc. Their food, as you'd expect, is nothing fancy - just something to munch on if you need something to soak up all that beer you'll be drinking. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the first Friday of every month usually has some food trucks and live music you can enjoy. Only inconvenience is that their dedicated parking lot is small, so if you're coming in the 7-9PM range, don't even bother circling around, just park at the nearby Walmart.

Kaelin N.

Yelp
I've been going here for years and I absolutely adore this place. I love how on first Friday they donate proceeds to a different place monthly! The beer selection is amazing, everyone is so friendly, and the food is sooo good! I do miss the pulled pork nachos from a few years ago (maybe it was a different menu for first Friday?). The vibes are great. There's indoor and outdoor seating and it's just a good time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a good beer or two with great company.

Audrey L.

Yelp
I was in San Leandro tonight... and, it was surprisingly good! Not going to lie. I was hesitant about coming to Drake's for a meetup because it was in the heart of the 510. Aka San Leandro. But this brewery was fun, and I got a good parking spot! So my evening started off on a good note. Drake's is a brewery in the industrial part of San Leandro. Being in the 510 these days brings me a little bit of hesitation, but I Thought, why not. It's Saturday night and mine as well join the rest of the group for a beer or two. The service was good and friendly. I recommend the IPA beers here. I tried their flagship IPA and the double IPA. Both were very flavorful and had a nice kick. Have fun!!!

Heather D.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a drink and some food on a Friday night with friends. Their beer selection is great and they have good bar food. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They have games and great music. With a stop to support a local independent business.

Yelp
If you scan my OG review for Drake's, you'll see I have a historical bias for this place, that I am not ashamed of one bit. And even from that last review over 7 years ago, this place continues to evolve and get better. Changes that occurred since then are an expanded patio/outdoor seating area, a cold case for easy grabbing of bottles, and the no longer acceptance of cash. All adaptations from the wake of the pandemic era. But as of late, I have kind of been turning into a weekly reg here, thus an update I feel is in need. My buddy and I usually play golf in the area about once a week, usually on a Monday morning. After a round, we usually want to sit somewhere and have a beer or 2. Enter Drake's. On a weekday afternoon, this place is crazy chill. Much different from the weekends and/or the nights. Totally my comfort zone. Then we go to find out that they have a weekday lunch special from 12-3pm. For $15 you get a burger (a notch up from fast food), and a beer. If you pay attention to pricing and the flux/trend that we have been in, then this deal should swat ya over the head. And not only is that price special, but the burger and beer quality surpass that price. Outside of those hours, this burger goes for $12 alone. The Burger (5*) Super legit burger. Right up there with In & Out, and actually IMO a tad better. They only have 1 type I believe, but you can modify your ingredients. It seems about a 1/3 lber as one is hearty and filling without me thinking to leave any of it behind. There are 3 kickers that make this truly special: 1) the burger patty is masterfully browned and cooked. There's deep beef flavor from the caramelization and seasoned decently. 2) there's an aioli spread that sends this humming. crazy good! 3) Nice bun and good proportioning amongst ingredients. Very balanced. And the tots that come with are THE best tots I've ever had. And I usually roll my eyes to tots. But these are so crisp on the outside and the salty potato flavor really explodes. Perfect portioning and accompaniment to this awesome burger. You can sub a spring mix salad instead of tots, if you prefer be a party pooper, but you-do-you. I usually pair my burger with their 1500 which is a dry hopped Pale Ale. It may very well be my favorite local beer. And I don't get sick of it, unlike other hoppy beers out there. Their Best Coast IPA is a close second. So, thanks Drake's for completing my Monday outs. With a little golf and this to match, just makes me feel like a lucky ducky. I'll actually look forward into it and get giddy as we're driving over after a nice round. Fiver exemplified!

Yelp
Great brewery! Great beers! Food was okay but we didn't come for the food right? Lol Service was fast and friendly. Lots of seating. The energy was very low, mellow. I was hoping for some music or more games to play while drinking.

Yelp
Super family and dog friendly place, although there was an event, not sure if dogs were allowed. Seating is first come first serve. QR code on the table to open and close tab. Drinks were not bad, decent choices actually and this place is always busy. Came during Halloween festival so booths and pumpkin patch. Limited bathroom inside though. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I loved coming here for lunch to do homework one day! 15 dollar meal with a beer is unbeatable. I tried the "BlockParty" and definitely need to go back to try more of their beer menu items. Definitely a place to hang with friends! Check it out.

Yelp
While at Drake's on June 19, thieves slashed our gas tank to steal gasoline while the car was parked outside between 6-8pm. Beware when visiting this establishment.

Yelp
I'm not a beer gal but they have a huge selection to choose from. The food was ok, lots of variety. They gave me a raw burger so I took off a point for that or I would give them 4 stars. They were however, prompt with addressing the issue. They have LOTS of seating/parking. For the most part I enjoyed my visit. The staff was great/upbeat! No long lines for the bathrooms either and thats a plus in my book! Give these guys a visit, its a great local spot!

Yelp
Our group of golfers are always looking for a 19th hole upon completion of a round of golf nearby. It runs the whole gambit, but for the most part it needs to include a cold one. We've had an eye on Drake's since the pandemic began. We noticed Drake changed its hours to 1pm Tuesday's which falls on our regular golf day. The seven of us came over and waited for Drake's to open at 1pm today. Finding parking was difficult, but hubby & I got the last space on property. We were given a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. We went with outdoor. We QR'd the menu. Ordered our cold ones and our sandwiches and an order of tater tots. Paid online. Each online order had your name associated with it. The beer came right away. Our table had four separate orders. Of the four orders ours came first. Then it was a waiting game. Hubby & I were finished but two of the four orders didn't come to our table until 50 minutes later. And that's only cuz we asked why the holdup. The server said she'll take 50% off the two orders that were delayed. We'll see as the orders were submitted online. Table #103. Bottom line - great draft beer. Tater tots great. Sandwiches average. Food is prepared out of a food truck. We won't return as there are many places offering cold ones and better food to go with them. And a smoother operation.

Yelp
I love Drake's Barrel House, but I don't often suggest it to friends because parking is rough here. Located right off the Davis Street exit off 880, Drake's is a bit hard to find if you're not sure where you're going. The entrance is behind the Walmart and if you miss the turn, you may end up circling or end up at 21st Amendment, which isn't so bad either. I love the outdoor setup. You have to use the app to order drinks or go up to the bar to order. They also have a bunch of snacks. My friend went a bit crazy with the tater tots and ordered every variety available on the menu, but my favorite was probably the Buffalo Tots. There's a great selection of beers. I ordered the hazy IPA, but my friends who are adventurous beer connoisseurs had the barrel aged beer and the stout. I've never had a bad beer here and it's really about what you prefer versus what's good. Definitely hard to find parking here and you may end up circling, but it's a fun place to grab beers with friends.

Yelp
Despite living in SF for over a decade I still end up in places that makes me wonder - HOW DO I ONLY FIND OUT ABOUT THIS NOW? DBH is exactly such place. Came here after attending a kids pumpkin patch next door. Between food trucks, festivities, excellent beers and food - this place is a delightful venue with vibes of Kona Brewing brewery on the Big Island, and even reminiscent of SFs own zeitgeist. Highly recommend.

Yelp
While visiting some friends who just purchased a house in San Leandro, we came to Drake's barrel House for a pint. I loved how open and spacious the space was. They have a nice variety of beers and we all found something we liked. We also decided to split two different orders of tots to go with our beers. I really enjoyed the chicken buffalo tots. Definitely a cool spot to grab a beer, hang out with friends, and enjoy the atmosphere. They also have tons of huge flat screens if you wanna catch a game.

Yelp
This is a pre-COVID review. I wanna say 2019. Drake's is great. Located right next to the walmart, there is ample parking. Came here with a friend and we split a flight of six beers. There's a food truck outside should you need an accompaniment before imbibing or during. Service is quick, you just go to the bar, line up and ask for what you want. Lots of seats inside and outside. They have a great selection of brews to choose from. I can't quite remember what I got, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get from Drake's. Great place to catch up with your friends.

Yelp
5 star for the beer. Always been a fan of drakes craft beers. 3.5 stars on food. I think they can have better menu. Pretzel was a bit cold when we got it. - great sitting area for indoor and outdoor. - parking is okay, you might end up parking at Walmart fora little walk - QR code system to order beer & food. Beer is dropped off but for food, text will be sent when your food is ready. - there are two restrooms that are fairly okay. - pet friendly place - kid friendly at least for us who have a toddler, it was t too bad. - go check out their Flocktoberfest so you can bring home a boot glass $20 fairly decent size and heavy.

Yelp
Visited on a Friday afternoon and it was busy but not packed. Room enough to pick seating in sun or shade (there was indoor seating too but I didn't see it) Great ambiance and a few different vegetarian friendly options which was nice. Fried cauliflower was delicious! I was debating getting a side of ranch (+$2) but opted not too and the chili sauce it came with was the perfect coating and flavor. If anyone is sensitive to heat it has a little kick so heads up. Will for sure be back.

Yelp
Disgusting! Just! Disgusting! Food! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, it was cold!, a little BBQ sauce on top and that was it, no taste at all. My kids ordered burgers, they love burgers, well not this one, they said it was the most disgusting burger they've ever had. Not to mention my husband was speechless, very días a pointed. We won't be coming ever again

Yelp
Tasty beers, but pricey?! Cool ambiance and outdoor patio space. We wanted beers for takeout so we got the 32 oz crowlers. Each of the beers we chose were some sort of specialty beers, and so each crowler we got was $24?! Just be prepared lol. I got Cherry Land and my partner got some sort of watermelon beer - can't remember the name at the moment. They have a wide beer selection, good for all beer lovers! We also got some buffalo wings that were pretty tasty. We got our drinks and waited outside for our buzzer to alert us that our food was ready. We did takeout, but next time I'm down to enjoy their sweet patio or even inside the warehouse seating! The garage is open so the "inside" seating feels very airy and still feels like outside. Side note, try not to get drunk then do random shopping at Walmart?! Lol seems like a dangerous, unnecessary spending situation.

Yelp
Food is fantastic, they didn't skimp on the blue cheese. The outdoor seating has shaded areas everywhere and the music is pleasant that you can talk with it playing indoors has a giant screen playing sports. It's a hidden little gym at the end of the Walmart.

Yelp
Drake's Barrel House is the perfect place to stop by for good brews and high quality brewery food too. They had a ton of outdoor seating that was socially distanced too. I tried the Hefeweizen and my fiancé had one of the sours and both beers were so good! We shared some of the food options including the ballpark tots, BBQ chicken taquitos and the spicy fried chicken sandwich. All the food was so delicious and wasn't too greasy as you might expect from bar/brewery food. I have to say may favorite was the fried chicken sandwich, it was so juicy, but wish it had a little more of a kick. We will definitely be back here!

Yelp
The beer selection is diverse. They serve food and have indoor and outdoor seating available. It can get crowded so it is a hit or miss with seating. The burgers were pretty filling.

Yelp
Thank you Bryan for helping my husband and I with our wedding rehearsal. We got married down the street from the brewery at the golf course. Our rehearsal was on a weekday right after everyone got off from work. Knowing that people would be tired, a giants game on, and a younger crowd in our party, we wanted a casual place close by that we could gather at after the wedding rehearsal. We scouted the area for options a couple weeks prior and found this place. Bryan was very helpful and friendly. We asked for a reserved space for approximately 40 people including several kids. No outside food allowed, but a cake to celebrate was permitted. We liked this place for the bar bites and drink selection. Our loved ones enjoyed as well. Who doesn't love beer, wings, and tots while watching the game? The kids even got to cheer with us with their Jarritos. Overall I highly recommend this place for a casual night out on a date or catching up with friends. Service is great and the place is open and huge for those concerned about social distancing.

Yelp
Stopped hear for lunch while my tires were being serviced at Costco. I had the lunch special that included a beer and I had the burger with a salad. Food, and beer were both very good. Service was fast, you order at the counter and they give you a device that lets you know your food is ready for pick up. I was there on a cold day, so I had to keep my jacket. It's in a warehouse.
