Drake’s has become a permanent fixture in my New York routine—and thankfully so. What started as a pop-up has clearly found its place. Their made-to-order offering is a standout, but even off the rack, I always find something I didn’t know I needed. Beautiful quality, timeless classics, and an especially strong selection of footwear and scarves. It’s quietly confident menswear—done right.

Crosby St store was so much more fitting for the brand imho. Had a really good experience there in 2019 with Dexter and Chase. Leaving this review for my buddy who recently came w/ me to Canal St (and was entirely new to Drakes, as I’m biased) — and he said 3/5.

Drake’s has become my go-to brand/store in the city for high quality, timeless menswear pieces. Drake’s does not follow trends or fashion, but falls back comfortably on quintessential, classic pieces that every man should have in their wardrobe. They have a main line of Perennial items that make up their core collection, which is further accentuated with seasonal items that are only produced in limited runs and are not restocked once sold out. I truly appreciate their focus on style and not fashion, and this ethos carries over to the store experience. I’m usually around the neighborhood on weekends and I often swing by to try on something new each time. Jack and Tom are amazing and super knowledgable, and it’s always a pleasure to chat with them about their suit tailoring options, hand rolled ties, Japanese dyed denim, and much more. The store also occasionally hosts local artists for drinks and talks on weeknights (I’ve yet to go to one), and anecdotally has become a hub of sorts for sartorialists and creatives in the city. Drake’s is a rare gem in the city, with none too many that can rival its offerings. If you’re looking for more menswear options, I’d also recommend the Armoury in Tribeca and UES.

The quality of items they have in here are top notch. Very upscale fashion, from amazing suits, to jackets, sweaters, ties, handkerchiefs. Very good attention to detail on all clothing items, the store aesthetic could use an upgrade to match the quality of clothes. Great vibe of music and staff

Ugly store with inattentive loitering sales staff in an unseemly location. Not exactly what I was expecting from such a great brand. As small as the previous Crosby street location was, at least it had charm and class befitting of the brand.

I do miss the old shop on Crosby St. but only because that’s where I stumbled across my favorite brand. With that said, this newer location, the people that work here and the clothes themselves are still the best of the best bar none. Always will be.

US Sizing is difficult to figure out. I ordered and paid $25 for shipping. It arrived but was too slim fitting. It then cost me $30 (which they subtract from refund) to return it. I spent $55 dollars for NOTHING!

Yelp
Love Drake's! I usually buy from a wholesale channel, but went into the store to see the products. Service is very silent. For me to spend my money at a boutique setting, I need a greeting at the minimum. For boutique retail other than exclusive products, one needs service and other factors to convert customers from wholesale to learn more about the brand. I left not feeling convinced.
