Had a fantastic time. Drinks are delicious and the staff are amazing. Sam was both a courteous bartender and great conversation. The location is elevated without being pretentious. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking to have a good time.

Came for a Tacos & Tequila event. Awesome setup with fresh food and fun making 3 cocktails paired each with a taco. So good!!

Visited Dram and Draught in Durham last night for halloween. Atmosphere was welcoming as soon as we came in. We were greeted with menus and glass of water as soon as we sat down. Our bartender Sam was fantastic! The Rolo Royal and Eye of Thaiger were both great drinks, will be visiting again.

We loved Dram and Draught so much we went twice in the same day. The staff was super friendly and informative, and the drinks were great. We even got to try some unique things as we chatted with the bartender. The location is a decent size with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating, booths, bar stools, pub tables, and a lounge area. Highly recommend stopping here, as they seem to have a drink for everyone. I also loved that the menu showed the type of glass the cocktail would be served in. Just a nice added touch!

I have been twice now and had great experiences both times. The bartenders really know what they are talking about and can point you in the right direction when you want to expand your whiskey palate. I was very impressed with Michael. Definitely go!

Drinks were great!!! Sam created a good vibe and provided great cocktails. I would recommend the ryze and grind. Overall great experience and will be back again!

This place was so swanky and nice. It’s seat yourself but they have waitresses that come by so you don’t have to wait at the bar. We went on a Saturday from 9-11 and were able to get a table. The drinks were like 13$ a piece for menu ones and about 7$ for simple common drinks. The drinks we got were very tasty. We will for sure be coming back

Great cocktails and assortment of all spirits. Didn’t try the 2 food items they offered, only wish they had a little more appetizer selection. But overall would definitely visit if you are in town.

If you're looking for a place that will make you a good, strong classic cocktail this is it. They have a rotation seasonal menu but don't expect the theatrics. It will be delicious and balanced.

Came here on new year's eve with some friends! The ambiance is great. Nicely lit and the bar is big and beautiful. We all ordered the seasonal holiday drinks and were pleased. Service was good. At first we had to sit outside because inside was full, but tables opened up quickly. Nice place to dress up and get flavorful drinks!

Super cute bar with lots of close by parking! The seasonal drinks were well made- not super strong, they also had a lot of non alcoholic options. Staff was very knowledgeable about options and very friendly, so would definitely go back!

Really questionable pricing. Venue said a Jack Daniel's single barrel barrel strength was $12. Questioned it...they said, no that was old info and it was actually $20....but in fact, I was charged $30. Not cool

First time at Dram&Draught in Durham. It was a great time. Servers were very friendly and attentive. The ambience was great as it was not too loud even with full tables around us. The drink menu was great and had a wide selection of cocktails to choose from, including specials, classics, nonalcoholic, wine, and a draft selection. Will be back.

This is a great cocktail + beer bar located in Durham. They have a long list of handcrafted, high quality cocktails. I always order a cocktail when I come here and they never disappoint. My husband loves beer and also enjoys their beer selection. This last time that I went, I ordered the Changing Seasons which is a cocktail made of tequila reposado, rose water syrup and lavender bitters. It tasted strong like a martini but had a nice sweetness from the rose water syrup. Highly recommend. Love this place for special occasions, a pre-dinner cocktail or even for a meet up with friends!

The second time being at Dram & Drought, and both times were great! The bartenders were super knowledgeable and helpful! This time around, I got two mezxal based cocktails that were smooth and easy sippers. The first time, I got their old fashioned which was smooth and a little heavy, but very easy to drink and was very warm. You only need one of their old fashioned unless you are not driving. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing! Definitely, this is a great spot for a late night drink or a starter cocktail! I love that their cocktails are made on site with new mixers and that they taste so good. I will be back!!

Fantastic food and ambiance. Tbh we moved from NYC and I hadn't found a solid cocktail bar for real for real but I finally did. Shouts to dram and draught cocktails.

Perhaps it was timing - late Friday night after an Anthony Hamilton concert at the DPAC, during a time in which the hospitality industry is seeking to replenish jobs vacated during COVID. What I know for certain is that the place had a ton of traffic, the wait for drinks was excessive and the quality of drinks once delivered? Underwhelming. I'm far from a harsh critic and I am fairly easy to please. Nor am I some adult beverage snob expecting champagne for the price of beer from an establishment that isn't designed to deliver quality products. I'm merely a guy that expects to receive proper service/product for the fee paid...this location on this night did not deliver (week of January 13th). A plus however, the staff was exceptionally pleasant. Very courteous and friendly. I may give them one more try before writing them off completely (if in the area again).

Tasty cocktails! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to be seated right away and enjoyed the cocktails we tried. My only knock on the place is that the service was very slow even though it wasn't busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were just having an off day for service. But overall I would recommend trying the cocktails here. Super inventive and tasty!

This place has a great ambiance, friendly bartenders, and a variety of unique drinks. The drinks were good, but my friends drink (on the right in the picture) arrived only half way full ? For $14 a drink I would think they would at least fill the cup all the way up!

I've heard of this place and seen it around but I never really knew what to expect. It's a lot more fancy than I thought. They have a huge selection of spirits. They were all organized by type and brand. We were able to try a couple of different drinks. My husband had the boiler maker which is a shot with a beer and that was the first time he had something like that. We also had some of the speciality cocktails and they are definitely worth the price. They are well thought of and unique. I loved the dark lights and the cool speak easy type of vibe the place had. The service was good but not great. They were super busy so it was understandable but we had to wave the waitress down a few times since we didn't sit at the bar. Overall it was a fun time!

Good service, friendly staff. I loved the atmosphere; it was like a dark library where you could drink and read, which I saw people next to us do. The cocktails were inventive and well-crafted. I like the detailed description of the cocktail menu with flavor notes and ABV for each, which was helpful.

My wife and I absolutely love this spot. The location is great for a pre or post dinner cocktail spot. There is a great assortment of different cocktails and beers, so it covers the spectrum of options to please anyone. I also love that the menu shows the glassware used for each of the cocktails, which is a great little feature that I enjoy. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a place still open after 12 to keep the party going and we selected here. it is definitely a vibe. Beautiful wall of drinks right when you enter. Strong drinks and cozy seating. Really good music! The only issue is that they only had the peanuts and nothing else to eat. But they did allow us to grab food from a neighboring spot! Definitely be back!

The gin and tonic was super good and quite strong! I love the ambiance, it's a great place to chat with friends or a date. The mojito wasn't as strong but was tasty.

Staff is nice but not very knowledgeable on making adult cocktails. We asked for non-sweet drinks and we're given recommendations that we're still very sweet. Apparently, the craft cocktails on the menu cater to sickeningly sweet drinks. If I go again, I'll order off menu and get my usual Manhattan or martini. However, I can get that anywhere, so not a draw to go back to D&D. I'm more inclined to go to a mixology bar like Alley 26 or Corpse Reviver.

Dram and Draught has opened their third location in Downtown Durham and it's a chill spot. I tried the My Lady Grey and my husband tried the Parasio de Verano. Both cocktails were good and so was the service. If you love whiskey, draft beer and cocktails this is the place for you.

Awesome handcrafted cocktails. Over the top Irish whisky and bourbon selection! Our bar tender was awesome!

Love this new bar! The drinks are good, moderately priced and the atmosphere most of the time (see below note) is fire. You can order food to be delivered here when you need that extra cushion to not be full blown drunk. The staff picked their personal favorite drinks listed on the wall to the right of when you first enter. I usually get whatever Akeem recommends and I haven't been let down yet. He's working right now until 2 AM (it's Saturday today). The only issue I have is when the bar manager or owner comes in to work at the bar with his laptop. The whole atmosphere changes and it's not as fun anymore. It feels more like I am at my aunts house for a book club get together with her church members, instead of at a new, trendy, hot bar. But maybe it's me...? I want some uptempo music, I want a fun atmosphere, I want the projector screen going with a Netflix movie or show playing while I laugh at my friends and we sing along to the playlist. Manager dude - if you're reading this, please don't change the vibe of the bar when you come in to work on your laptop.

In full disclosure, I casually know one of the owners through my previous job. After getting treated to a complimentary drink during a soft opening for a local membership group, I returned several days later with my wife after dinner on a weeknight. We each enjoyed a cocktail. The vibe is very Durham (high walls with exposed pipes, casual, and with eclectic clientele). They have interesting original drinks as well as classic cocktails. They have a board that list current favorites from the staff and my wife ordered a Death in the Afternoon (Google it) because it sounded interesting and neither of us had ever had one before. One of the managers came over and we chatted with her for a little while. There are several other cocktail bars in Durham, plus more beer and cider taprooms, but this establishment in this location near Brightleaf Square seems like a good fit.

NOTE THEY DO NOT SERVE ENTRES. But, they do allow you to bring food in from anywhere or even have it delivered. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and approachable. Drinks were on point. Will return.

Great drinks tried several times and their bartenders are so nice! The only reason for 4 va 5 stars is not allowing my 2 teens in with the adults or on the outside so we can't play a board game there while having a drink.

Easily my new favorite cocktail bar in Durham. They drinks are delicious and complex. There are cozy alcoves and a great bar with lots of seating. The staff told us all about any and all drinks and answered all our wandering questions.

This is the place to go where you want to drink and just drink . They have a great selection of spirits and awesome drink specials. The Infirmary Blue and Old Fashioned were tasty and my boyfriend had a smoky scotch drink that was so smoky, I thought chimney chips were in his drink. He loved it and I will admit it wasn't bad, just not my cup of scotch. The music was awesome and Yan working the bar made you feel welcomed. By far this will be my go to spot for 2022, post pandemic, in a pandemic it don't matter. If they are open I will be there.

Amazing Cocktails!! I am picky when it comes to cocktails and this place did NOT disappoint! The service was amazing and also fast and cocktails can take awhile to make when they are good. Atmosphere is very classy and elegant with also a social vibe. We will definitely be back in the future!!

The drinks and service are amazing, but as a young adult craving (a little bit of) chaos every time I leave the house, I'm not sure I'd return for a "fun" night out again until I'm in my mid thirties. Overhead a couple talking about personal finances which sort of threw off the vibe as well

Enjoyed my night out at dram & draught. This location just opened its door about 2 weeks ago so I was excited to see what was up. The space it's self is very chic with a classy ambiance. The drinks were delicious. There are many cocktail opens and for those non drinkers there are also sprit free cocktails. *fair warning: drinks are going to take a bit to get to you because well specialty cocktails take longer to make and also there's maybe 2 bartenders. The wait is worth it though because the cocktail are so good

Me and my partner have made it a habit of coming here when I am in Durham. I really like the place. It's a finely appointed space in a convenient location for finding something to do. Not too snooty while not too casual. It has been one of those "just right" type of places when we want to get out of the house but not hear a bunch of Dukies screaming all night. The cocktail and beer selection are both fun and interesting. Not that cheap but also doesn't break the bank as hard as some of the rooftop bars in the area. I think it could use some more bartenders as I think they usually only have one or two making craft cocktails. It can make for a long wait sometimes. Other than that, it's a perfect little spot to get out, have a drink, and see if something else happens (or doesn't).

The drinks here are very flavorful and strong. The bar has an excellent selection of liquor and good wine list. This is a highly trafficked location, and it can be difficult to get service. However, the bartenders are very professional and always provide a good experience. The bar has a dark and elegant atmosphere. It is a classy spot with cozy rooms if you want a quiet place to talk or relax. The bathrooms are exquisite. The crowd is usually comprised of professionals but college students from Duke are also known to attend.

Great liquor selection and a really beautiful bar. Came in on a quiet Monday night and will definitely be back

Not a bad little spot; just not exactly my cup of tea. I could also visually see how irritated the server was with us & drinks took anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes to make it to the table. The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is because the bartender was very kind and helpful.

Amazing cocktails. Old fashioned and Casanova Frankenstein were awesome. My wife had the French 75. Cool atmosphere. Bartender was great! Will be back!
