Fantastic comic store. Bunch of events. Comic prices range- they have rare,new,common, etc. Staff is very friendly. They also offer special orders. Definitely worth taking a look. Place is clean,smells good, and is well organized

They will help anyway they can. I don't go very often but they remember my name and make me feel at home every time I go. They always keep a look out for things you might like and inform you when they have them. Best comic store ever makes you feel like old friends and or family.

This is my favorite comic store in Arizona. The selection is great whether you’re looking for new stuff of back issues. What really sets this store apart is the staff, though. Of all the shops I’ve been to the DTC crew is the most knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. If you know what you’re looking for, they will have it or they will get it for you. If you’re new or curious about comics, talk to some of the amazing staff and they will put you onto some great stuff.

My experience has always been great. They are very helpful if you are looking for recommendations or something specific. The atmosphere is great and everyone has always been incredibly kind and friendly

Lots of comics!! The upstairs had a good collection of figures and hot wheels for sale. The staff was very welcoming, and they were more than willing to help.

What an amazing and gigantic store. Picture you’re a small child and you’re offered a tour of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Store (not the factory itself…) This is essentially the comic version without the danger of being turned into an inflatable blueberry. Everyone in the store is super kind and knowledgeable, eager to help & educate, and the store itself seems to have events going on a regular basis. My fiancée and I were in there for our first time visit today and we both had such a great time. I was smiling ear to ear from the moment I saw their beautiful displays out front… If you’re even remotely interested in comics… you’ve gotta check this place out. UPDATE: Honestly, this store has ruined other LCS for me. It actually feels a bit depressing now shopping at any other comic store in the Valley because they all totally miss the warmth and vibrance of the staff that Drawn To Comics seems to uniquely have. People at DTC are genuinely happy to see you (even though it was literally just my second time in... they remembered us and chatted us up the entire time we were there) & they're all dripping with enthusiasm + love for comics. Contrast that with literally any other comic store I've been in where you might be lucky enough to get a mild "welcome in"... Yeah... I'mma do all my shopping at DTC.

This is one of my favorite comic stores! They have an excellent selection and friendly service. Shout out to Robert specifically, who is always very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you, Robert!

The owners, Ken and Susan, are down to earth and along with their staff are open and welcoming. The employees greet everyone and ask if they can be of service to their customers. They make it a point to know you by name, they want you to be more than a just a customer. Their selection of comics is extensive. There is more than just comics! They have action figures, and hot wheels, new ones as well as vintage. Star War, GI Joe, & Transformers toys! There are Gundam and car models.

Stopped by Drawn to Comics looking for a potential new hobby for my kiddo. We were immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman and directed over to the "All Ages" section where there were toddler-friendly toys and comic book options. I was pleasantly surprised to have only spent $8 total on five small toys and a cool Sesame Street comic book set. I could only stop in for a few minutes on our way to an appointment, but we will be back! Such a cool and unique shop in Glendale.

I don't care for reviews but the customer service here and my experience for my first time went so well that for the first time ever I got motivated to write about it I was welcomed by a nice guy showing me around the place, he was very helpful letting me know everything about the comics I was looking for or interested in. In the end I picked up a fantastic 4 comic and the lady at the register was very nice even asking who my favorite member of the fantastic 4 was, thinking about it now it wasn't too crazy but it was nice and made feel welcomed some other nice gentleman was letting me know about a captain America comic that I will probably buy next time I come around. I came to this store with no intention to buy anything and I just wanted to look around but I left the store well served with a new comic and some magazines in my hand. Will be coming back and would recommend to others.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by great staff! Ken was the guy who really broke down the whole store for us. The selection is phenomenal and not too price gauged. Not too many keys that I would want but they did have a bunch of keys on the walls. Great perks for pull members too! Great amount of back issues!

This is great comic book store with friendly and professional service. The place is clean and well organized, they have a great selection of comics, graphic novels and figurines. All of the employees are more than willing to help and answer any questions and they are all so friendly while doing it. This place is perfect for the novice to the professional comic book collectors!

as another shopper that recent 1 star review couldnt be further from the truth! if you want to haggle go to conventions and vendors not a comic book store! on top of that they offer a HUGE array of discounts when you join their membership. i couldnt recommend this shop more. i regularly come in this shop and spend over $200 and have had nothing but the feeling of being welcomed and at home. i know im just a customer but as someone who genuinely believes that review couldnt be further from the truth i couldnt just stand by and see a review that wrong!

WE DON'T NEED AND DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS! This was the clear message that was extended to me. Do not go to this business. I just went in and spent nearly $300 low in demand comics that they wanted to move. i spent the time to dig out these comic books and when it came time to pay, i nicely asked for a possible 10% discount on that large of a purchase, commonly given by other stores in the valley. I was told absolutely no discount of any kind. The nice guys at the counter said they weren't authorized to do anything. I asked them to contact someone who could do something which they did and got another resounding no! The number of $300.00 sales from one customer in a day of business for these people is pretty rare. No matter. I told them i wouldn't be back to spend another chunk of money and it didn't phase them at all. I would have been happy with a 5% or a 2% discount showing me that they were willing to work with me, value good customers and wanted me back.....nothing. If you like businesses that value long term customers that spend that kind of money and want you to come back, do not frequent this business. Go to any number of comic book stores in the valley that will very willingly and cheerfully work with you on some kind of discount as a thanks for the business.

One of my favorite comic book stores that I think I have ever been to the staff there recognizes me and they are so kind you get a punchcard there that will offer you 20 bucks off eventually they are so helpful and have such an amazing selection every time I go there I just feel so welcome and just have so much fun in my opinion this is the best comic book store in Arizona

It was my first time there, and granted I do not live in AZ, but I will make this shop a stop every time I visit, because the staff was super informational and friendly! And gave me some good tips on how the system works for collecting comics!

Came down to check out this spot with my brother whose visiting from out of town. He had heard and seen great reviews about this place. Don't get me wrong the staff seems to be genuinely nice, however, they're constantly hovering and following us through out the store, was a little uncalled for. (Dude w/goatee). I can understand wanting to prevent your small business from getting robbed, but how about you invest in some security cameras instead of following your patrons around the store and making them feel like criminals - may be a bit dramatic, but honestly, it was how I was made to feel. Do better!

It was my first time walking into this establishment, and I have to say I was blown away. Comics on the walls and Long and short boxes all the way to the back of the building. I was impressed with the feel and the surrounding of it. Exactly how a comic shop should look like with out all the bells and whistles. Even the owner came and approached me and we talked for a good while, very passionate about comics and the community. I will come back every time I'm in town. The only thing I wish is that it would have been open longer since we got there almost at closing time. But A+ all around ! Excelsior

I go here frequently. They are great, they have great customer service that isn't too pushy but also asks questions and ensures you're helped when needed. They have a great selection of both comics and collectibles. The value is great, not super cheap, but rarely listed above market value, which is more than fair. They also have a pretty good rewards program/membership card. Easily one of, if not the best comic shop in the Phoenix area.

I just got back into comics last summer (hadn't been reading since 2008) and I found Drawn to Comics. I have gone every single week since my first visit for new comics. This is genuinely one of the best stores I have been to. The environment is extremely welcoming and friendly. Every time I go in, I am always greeted (usually by multiple employees) and they always go out of their way to see if they can help me with anything. Even when they are not helping me, they are usually helping someone else. The comic collection is very nice and you are likely to be able to find something that you are looking for. They also have an awesome "toy attic" that has a variety of awesome toys, from Marvel Legends to Star Wars to GI JOE and more! Don't forget to go upstairs if you visit. I highly recommend this comic shop to anyone looking for a new store to patronize. I am happy to call it my LCS.

Awesome, spectacular, wonderful, amazing, incredible, splendid, sparkling. there simply are not enough words to say all the wonderous things that need to be said about this place and the people that work here. It is simply best for you to go in and experience all the joys and splendor of these fantastic people and their fantastic location. Go today, go tomorrow and go often.

Wish I lived closer to make this my main store , these guys were somehow able to save me an issue of spider-man 7 which was sold out everywhere I looked. If I annoyed them by calling too much, I couldn't tell haha. All the staff is super friendly and helpful, can't say one bad thing about this store (not to mention the selection)!

Drawn To Comics is the best comic shop I've been to PERIOD. Not even just in Phoenix area. Ken and Susan's team offer incredible customer service and a clean, organized store front for all your nerdy needs. I was a loyal customer for 7 years before I moved out of state and I've yet to see any comic store as welcoming or friendly, balanced with actually having books in-stock. I love this place! AC, Robert, Ashley, Kayla and Jason all do a tremendous job! Their subscriber program and bagging system are PERFECTION and should be implemented wherever possible. Worth checking out and coming back!

Oh these guys and girls are fantastic! They are very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you might have. I walked in there like a noob not knowing a damn thing and they quickly squared me away. Awesome team! And very family friendly!

This is an outstanding comic shop! I always have outstanding customer service from Robert, Ken, and Susan. This store goes above and beyond expectations. Great selection of new and collectible comics from the past. Definitely one of my favorite comic stores in the valley!

We came here on a whim while wondering around downtown Glendale during Glendale Glitters and I'm so glad we did. I didn't even know it existed. Such a neat store for superhero fans! Soooooo many comic books and for extremely reasonable prices. The staff was so kind to me and my family, and made sure any questions we had were answered. We plan to make another trip soon, but on purpose this time:D

I'm just getting into reading comics and was aware of the shop, but had never been in. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I walked in and was asked if I needed help finding anything. Ken walked around the shop with me asking about my interests and helped pick out and recommended things for me to read. I anticipated a quick trip there, but I ended up looking and mostly chatting with Ken and Sue for two hours. Extremely friendly shop... I know that I'll continue to visit in the future and find new issues to read.

Visited recently and all of the employees were very friendly! This is a very cute comic shop with tons to look at. I do t remember his name, but the cashier and I had a great conversation at the register when normally I don't enjoy interacting with employees too much. I would definitely recommend this shop and hope to visit again soon

This comic shop has to be the best anywhere. They are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have moved out of state and they are by far still the best comic shop I have dealt with in the entire northern half of this state I just moved to. When I lived in Phoenix, they were by far the best option at the time and they have only gotten better. Susan is amazing but everybody else I have every dealt with is awesome too!! I could describe multiple employees if the owners want to DM me but an easier route would be to just let them know that their employees are doing awesome. They truly are! I have never had a bad experience with a single one of them.

My sis and I were in the Glendale area for another event, and after leaving the event unsatisfied, we stumbled upon this place right next to the lot where we parked! We entered the spacious place, it's 2 stories - the first floor is all the comics, graphic novels, etc. the second floor is comic book figures and some video game figures! I picked up a comic here (I Moved to LA To Work in Animation) that I've been dreading on visiting the comic book shops over here in Tempe because the ones around here are a bit too cozy, and parking is a bit of a bear to deal with (they're by ASU & it gets very overwhelming with people just walking everywhere and not paying attention to what's going on around them). My sister also picked up a graphic novel (Snotgirl) and she rarely reads American comics, so I'm glad she found something she really liked! The staff is super helpful & very sweet; they love chatting to everyone, and the place is very welcoming and warm! It's a shame this place is an hour out from me, or else I'd spend every weekend here talking to everyone and reading comics!

It is a very friendly group I am greeted warmly every time I go there. They remember me by name every time. They are no longer doing subscriptions or pre pays but they call me anyways when they find something they know I'd like. It's nice to be thought of. They put the comics aside for me. They are a unique and friendly group of individuals with the greatest style and organization of a comic book store I've ever seen. If there is one comic book store you have to see in az it's this one!

This is an awesome place! If you love comics or toys or anything similar to that do yourself a favor and stop in. Got a chance to talk to the owner and he was really nice and took time to talk to me. I told him I was new to comics and he had nothing but kind words and advice. I didn't feel like an outsider at all. I'll definitely be going back!

The best comic shop I have ever been to. Always welcoming, knowledgeable, and positive people. They have a huge selection that is well put together, and wonderful customer engagement. I live 45 min away now but this is going to stay as the shop I go to.

I don't get over to Glendale often, so I stopped the other day while I was nearby. Great store, clean, well organized. Plenty of offers for help from the staff. The owner Ken actually stopped and had a conversation with me, asked what I was looking for. They didn't have the exact books, but he then went in the back and opened a box of back issue comics that he hadn't priced yet and let me look through. I found some gems and he priced and bagged them on the spot. Much appreciated. A definite stop anytime you're in Glendale.

I'll preface this with I'm not a comic book person but my husband comes here often, even has a box where they help collect his favorite comics. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! I came in needing help find a gift for my husband. Ken pulled up his history and helped me get me a few a things without making me feel like I should know this stuff. Super helpful and I'm sure my husband will enjoy his gift. Thank you so much!!

This is my go to comic store. Recently joined their subscription list. They have great discounts for joining. Very friendly and helpful staff and atmosphere. My son and I love coming and hanging out here weekly.

Excellent comic book store!! Best in Phoenix!! HUGE selection of new and back issue comics. Lots of collectable toys too. Best part is their knowledge and friendly staff. Especially Robert! He remembers what comics you like and always has great suggestions too.

If you like comics, this is the place for you. Tons of magazines to choose from and so much more. I stopped in here with comic-enthusiasts. I am a novice, but it was fun learning about the history of some of my favorite comic strip characters. The store is fairly large and there are a ton of things to select from. I think you will find it to be a very interesting place.

Love this place. Right from when you walk in, you know you are in a unique place. There's so much to see for such a moderate sized shop, the people whonwork there are always kind and courteous, and I almost always get what I'm looking for. And if I don't, they let me know if they can order it in, or where I could look for it. If you have to go to a comic book store in Arizona, this is the place!

Great local mom and pop type comic shop. If there is something they don't have, they will do their best to track it down and get it for you. There are always crazy good deals going on in this store. Different programs like heroclix and artist nights frequent as weekend events. Drawn to Comics also helps out the community and volunteers time educating about comics pop culture and mainstream at school events. I have been shopping here for about five years now and eventhough I drive by a couple shops on my way home everyday, I will go out of my way to shop at this store. The customer service is top notch and definately a place where they want to know your name. I have never been steered wrong at this store and always felt safe and welcome and part of a community while shopping at this establishment. Even my brother who lives in another state prefers to have me get his comics at this store. I hope this store stays around and becomes a staple in what is already a great downtown Glendale. If you want great service with a smile and deal with someone that has a vast amount of knowledge of everything comics, then this is the store you should make your own!!!

I'm shocked to see I've not done a review yet for this place. Well...let's correct that. Drawn to Comics has to be considered one of the if not THE best comic shop in the Valley. Many of the reasons have already been talked about. Ken, the owner, takes great pains to be not only informed about his merchandise, but is friendly, talkative, and just an all around nice guy. But furthermore...he will try to help you get what you need. Just when you think this experience can't get any better? Sign up for his pull list program. He has the BEST one in the Valley hands down. I've not seen a pull program this good since a comic shop I used to frequent in Normal, IL (which if you are ever there, pay Jim a visit at Acme Comics, a great shop also). I tried all the other shops (Atomic included before they went out of business), and everyone's pull lists sucked. Barely if any discounts. Ken not only has the best shop in the Valley, but the best pull program too. First week pick-up, 20% off, all comics are bagged and boarded as part of your purchase. This can't be beat. If you have not frequented this establishment yet and you live in the Phoenix Valley, you are not a true comic aficionado.

This place is amazing! Great People, Great Selection. Ken is awesome, always friendly and loves to meet & greet with anyone who walks in the door. Also they bag & board ALL of their books for free and have reading copies of all new releases for previewing. I have visited a lot of comic shops but this one feels like home!

In town to visit my father on a family trip. Stopped by at this Comic shop. I really wish they had a shop near me in Cleveland like this. Tons to choose from on the walls, and just fantastic customer service. Highly recommended.

I wanted a current issue and they had it and more, Ken was amazing , helpful knowledgeable and up to date on current comic and was able to recommend other comics as a gift Highly recommend it if you need any current comic

Been going here since I was (I wanna say) 5 years old! My mom and I came inside their original location over 14 years ago, during middle school I spent a lot of my time here and loved every second of it! They've always had a great staff, especially to this day!!! Ken is the most passionate business owner I've ever meant, and he's been this way since I met him. I can't express how much this location means to me!!!!

Extremely polite and helpful, they got me into a few newer comics that I wouldn't have considered reading otherwise. The manager personally walked me around the store to show me everything they had available. Definitely my favorite shop in the area.

This place is clearly rockin' it with how many amazing reviews they have! Let's add one more. I am from Minnesota and was visiting my friends in Arizona and they brought me into Drawn to Comics one afternoon. First off, "DRAWN To Comics"?! +100 points for the punny name. I am a sucker for puns. Already sold. It's a quaint place that doesn't lack in personality and selection based on their size. It's perfect. They have a great selection of indie comics which is right up my alley. Another +50 points. The owners, their kid, and the rest of their staff is extremely friendly and personable. They leave you alone when you want to be left alone and they are there to help should you need it. Given my friends had only been living in Arizona for around 6 months the establishment already knew their names and greeted them warmly and like old friends. +500 points. Why 500 points for that, you ask?! There is nothing better than feeling like you're a regular somewhere - - it's a special feeling when "everyone knowwwws your naaaaaame". You're a somebody and it warms your heart like a hobo being given leftover scraps from the fancy Italian joint down the street. Now to the event that really won me over: A month or so later, I sent Drawn to Comics a message from Minnesota asking if they would be willing to help me pull off a birthday surprise; I wanted to purchase the first 5 issues of Black Magick (read it, now.) for my friend who had previously brought me there when I visited. The catch is that I was wondering if they would not only allow me to pay via paypal but also have them secretly slip them into her weekly Wednesday pickup order with a note that says "Happy Birthday, Kayla -from Nichole" on it. Without any hesitation they obliged and a week later I got a note from my friend Kayla just gushing over the secret birthday present she found in her weekly haul. I was so ecstatic they helped me pull it off! I scored major bff points. Now, I was expecting them to just slap a post-it on the stack of comics I bought her that said Happy Birthday on it but when she sent me a pic of what she received I was overjoyed. They went above and beyond to craft an awesome little birthday note that just brought the whole experience from a 10 to an 11. Arizona, you are so lucky to have Drawn to Comics; I could only wish to be so lucky as to have such an amazing and independently owned shop that cares that much about their customers. I can't wait to return to Arizona so I can pick up my new issues for the week and thank the staff profusely in person.

No matter your religion Marvel, DC, Indy or god forbid 20th Century Fox you will be welcome at Drawn to Comics. The staff manages to be knowledgeable without being condescending. That is important to me because about once a year I break down and relapse into my old comic book addiction. I don't want some young geek (I am an old geek) mocking me because I didn't know the FF/FF disbanded or The Falcon was now Captain America. At first glance you may discount their selection, but they do have lots of stuff in the back, if you don't see it ask!

I have truly never been to a nicer store. As soon as we walked in, we were instantly greeted and given a layout of the store, which was very helpful. They have few comfy chairs that I was able to sit in and relax, giving my husband plenty of time to browse at his leisure. Each employer, and owners, chatted with us, and gave us some great info. We are visiting from out of town, and would travel back here, just to shop again. This is a store/business done right!
