We booked breakfast with a princess Elsa and it was a wonderful experience. The place is very cute and bright and beautiful. My daugher had the best time for her 5th birthday. We order hot coco and sandwiches and the shortcake dessert.

Amazing experience! Thank you so much for making my niece's birthday party a blast! The place has this cool retro look and the tea omg so good.

Dream come true- the location is beautiful. The aesthetics and vibe is definitely whimsical , cute, and exciting. ( like Alice and wonderland) The space size is decent and not too cramp , entire space was reserved for our party. On to the food and tea! The blueberry scones were delicious! The salad was nice and fresh. The balsamic vinaigrette was amazing as well. I definitely enjoyed the tea time salmon sandwich the best! Their white peach , Earl Gray lavender , and cinnamon chai were so delightfully flavored before I added sugar ( I’m not a big tea drinker ) they were all good alone without additional sweetener. The staff was nice and accommodating. The setup was done lovely.

My friend and I wanted to find an unique spot to celebrate our birthdays together and Dream Come True Tea Room was the find! It may not look like much from the outside, frankly I had to drive by a few times to locate it, but once you are inside, it transforms you to another place. We had the high tea for two, which came with tea sandwiches, some pastries, scones and two pots of tea. You know the owner spent a lot of time putting the place together, the decor, the details. We also had a great server Jennifer, who helped make our experience memorable. It is great for friends to catch up over tea or a bigger party like a bridal tea party in a private room.

This was a wonderful experience! We took our friend out for her birthday. We were surprised at the amount of food you got. Everything was very tasty. We thought the decor suited a tea room. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The parking is the only problem.

If you are in Long Beach, and have an hour... I was on vacation visiting beautiful Southern California, mainly Los Angeles and this cute little gem stood out to me. From the moment I entered this tea room my inner princess came out. I was in love from the first step. The inside is so adorable and wonderfully decorated. The atmosphere is everything you want for a tea party. The host was incredible, and had such a high level of enthusiasm and imagination for business. She will truly give you a fun experience while drinking tea. The tea menu was large and diverse. The food was warm and fresh. I had freshly made scones and an apple cereal bar. DELICIOUS! In the back, there is a private party room. If you have a group of little girls this would make a great princess birthday venue! Thank you for a great lunch and great memories!

Wonderful place for afternoon tea! It is elegant and eclectic - just fun. The food is delicious and plentiful and the whimsical tea sets make things even more fun. The waitresses even wear cute dresses and frilly aprons. It's a neat place! I can't recommend it enough

Came from Arizona, and this was my first time experiencing Tea time.. let’s just say this experience exceeded my expectations ✨! My sister and I had the absolute best time and seriously everything was exactly how we imagined it to be. The aesthetic and vibe is amazing here and the service puts the cherry on top 💚 so sad we don’t have a tea place like this in Tucson, but I cannot wait to come back and visit this beautiful spot 😍

Yelp
Dream Come True Tea Party in Bixby Knolls truly lives up to its name! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were transported into a whimsical world of enchantment. The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous, setting the stage for a magical experience like no other. What sets this place apart is not just its stunning aesthetics, but also the incredible owners who go above and beyond to ensure every guest's dream becomes a reality. Their genuine consideration and willingness to accommodate special requests truly set them apart. When we expressed our desire for a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory theme for our son's party, they didn't hesitate to make it happen. Watching our son's face light up with joy as he entered his very own Willy Wonka wonderland was priceless. From the décor to the treats, every detail was meticulously planned and executed, creating an unforgettable experience for our little Wonka enthusiast. In addition to their exceptional service and attention to detail, the owners' warmth and hospitality made us feel like part of the Dream Come True family. We left with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime. If you're looking to make your child's dreams a reality, look no further than Dream Come True Tea Party. With their magical ambiance, considerate owners, and ability to turn any fantasy into a reality, they truly make dreams come true.

Yelp
This place is quite cute, quaint, and small, but cozy. Its like a hidden gem in Bixby knolls of Long Beach. I went here with my sisters on a Sunday afternoon. It was about half full. We ordered... * a couple pots of delicious tea (chocolate chai and one peach black tea) * blueberry scones (my fave scone I've eaten so far), * plenty of bite sized sandwiches (almost all that was on the menu...each just okay to me...Though small, not all the ingredients spread across them - so basically 2/3 of these tiny bites had the filling/ingredients) and a mix of desserts (fun to try each one). Service was a tad under mediocre. I didn't feel the two gals who worked there was pleasant. Their vibe didn't match the ambiance...nonetheless I had great company - we still had such a good time there just chatting away with each other and also taking some pics there in various areas in the restaurant (as we don't get together as often due to busy schedules). There was a private tea party happening too while we were there. It was nice to get a preview of what goes on for a little girls' tea party.

Yelp
PARKING: There is parking in the back of the restaurant in the alley or 2-hour street parking. SERVICE: We had a 2:30pm reservation and they close at 4pm. There was only one lady working (I'm assuming the owner) who was SO NICE! It was only one other table and us, so it was a chill and relax mid-week tea service. AMBIANCE: The place is very pink, has a neon sign with a couch for photo ops & cozy tea vibes. FOOD: $57 HIGH TEA FOR TWO: this option comes out cheaper than if you were to get 2 individual high teas. Comes with scone, tiny cup of soup or salad, 6 tea sandwiches, a couple bite sized desserts, and 2 pots of tea. I also got a cupcake with a candle because we were celebrating my birthday! & the cutest tea headband. SANDWICHES: * Sesame crusted chicken salad: yummy! * Turkey & cranberries: good * Apricot & ham: good * Egg salad: classic * Strawberry cream cheese: semi-sweet * Salmon mousse: one was really dry, I think it was this sandwich but it didn't taste like salmon? OVERALL: Very cute and cozy, I loved most of the tea sandwiches, soup was yummy, but most of all the lady who owned/worked there was SO NICE!

Yelp
So cute and fun! Made a reservation well in advance. We were seated right away, the server was new and a wee bit awkward but was super sweet and attentive. We loved the ambiance and the tea. We had 3 tea drinkers and a kid and ordered the high tea for 2 and the lil princess tea. It was plenty of tea and food, we even took some home. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
We were excited to go for tea somewhere new in the area! We read reviews and decided to go here. First off, we open the door to come in and the glass door is filthy. There were some guests at the tables but no one was there to greet us or seat us. The decor was charming and vibrant! Once we sat down we got a run down of the menu and decided to order the High Tea package for 2. There was a variety of sandwich options and tea, which I was impressed with. We had 1 choice in scone and dessert options. Prices were reasonable. Shortly after ordering, we were the only party there besides a private birthday party in the back, which was noisy. The tea was good and scone (would have been fine with just the jam and clotted cream, icing was too much for me). I unfortunately have a few complaints from our experience. * No cloth napkins *Chipped teacups (server did get us a new one after asking) *No water *No follow up from server *Lengthy time for tea and food to be served *Music was not suitable for tea *No AC *Ran out of certain food items *Server started to clean all the tables while we were eating with a heavy duty Clorox spray *They were quick to give us the bill without even mentioning if we wanted anything else I wish my experience could have been different as I love to go to tea places and support small businesses. However, I hope this business can improve, for others to have a better experience! We definitely felt the quality of service and presentation suffered, due to the fact they were preoccupied with the private party going on in the back.

Yelp
We went for afternoon tea for my birthday. My husband had made reservations. It was a weekday and we were the only ones there so were well serviced. It's such a cute and beautiful spot with so many opportunities for photos. The wardrobe even opens up as a door you can enter into another room. Usually you can host kids parties in there. Such a cute concept The afternoon tea set was delightful. There were scones, salads, sandwiches, little desserts and pot of tea. I had my little toddler with me and to make things even more cute and fun she brought out decorated headbands to play with. It was a fantastic experience.

Yelp
If you're looking for a beautiful spot for tea, look no further than Dream Come True! I made a reservation for myself @ 5 friends for last Sunday afternoon. The interior was gorgeous, the staff were sweet and helpful, and the food was good. They have SO many beautiful teas to choose from...and you won't find a tea bag anywhere. They are all curated loose teas. No problem with parking. We are going to make it a mom tradition.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 3 and came here for the first time. Limited street parking in front, but lots of tandem parking in back! It's a quaint and pretty place- lots of cute decor and a separate room for private parties. Very clean and inviting. The owner was our server for the day and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the tea selections and I felt comfortable eating there with my peanut allergies and milk intolerance. She even offered to sub vegan cream cheese (I declined because it was cashew based) and bring out oat milk for our teas, which was fantastic! We ended up splitting the High Tea for two and adding an extra soup. We ordered the chocolate truffle black tea and wild strawberry herbal tea. We ordered the roast beef sandwich, egg sandwich, vegan hummus sandwich, sesame crusted chicken salad sandwich, and turkey and cranberry sandwich. The chocolate truffle black tea with oat milk and sugar was SO GOOD. I would definitely order this one again! The wild strawberry tea was also good, but not as good as the chocolate haha. The roast beef sandwich was so yummy, especially with the dijon mustard on it. The sesame crusted chicken salad sandwich was so flavorful- I could taste the sesame oil that they put it. The egg salad was decent, but nothing memorable. My friends liked the hummus sandwiches and turkey sandwiches. Definitely would order the roast beef and sesame chicken salad sandwiches again. The lentil soup was delicious-- it came in 2 cute little Japanese tea cups. Why haven't I thought of serving soup in tea cups!? My friends said the berry scones were really good- they were big and I wished I could have eaten them, but they (unsurprisingly) had dairy in them. They didn't have room to eat the desserts because there was so much food! The presentation was also beautiful-- it came out on a tiered silver platter. Definitely will come back here. The prices were reasonable for a tea place, the decor and ambiance was so fun and the food and tea was actually good! Well done, Dream Come True Tea & Party Room!

Yelp
This place is adorable. I love afternoon tea and it is so hard to find a good place for it in Southern California. I was impressed at their ability to present an experience that is lavish enough for both children and adults alike. The theming here is magical and straight from a fairytale. When you call, a fairy answers the phone. It is very easy to make a reservation and this tearoom is not as busy as others. They seem to receive more business for party hosting but they deserve much more of a rush for the lovely tea service they offer. Their scone was served warm and was perfect for all ages. It was delightfully sweet and went so well with my tea. There is such a great selection of teas to choose from and they were very accommodating for someone in my party with dietary restrictions. The overall ambiance here is so delicate and charming. You can definitely feel free to dress up or come in casually for a treat.

Yelp
Very charming tea room. Loved the decor. Excellent service and good food. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This place was a dream! Took my 11 and 7 year old daughter here to celebrate my birthday. Peaceful and everything timed so well. Our host was so friendly and gave me a complimentary birthday cupcake with a lit candle and cute teacup headband. The decore was whimsical and very Alice in Wonderland vibes. The Scone was large and tasty. The clotted cream and blackberry jam creamy and tart sweet. We were given a generous amount. From all other tea places this place was the most generous and I didn't feel rushed at all it was so nice. The sandwiches were all great! My youngest is so picky with food but ate all her food lol. We really felt like princesses. Our host gave us cute complimentary gifts of disco jewelry so fun. We took some great pictures and our host took some nice pictures of us too. Totally recommend the coconut black tea and herbal strawberry tea! Will be for sure coming back thank you

Yelp
I love doing a British afternoon tea with friends and Dream Come True ended up being an excellent choice for us. The advertising made it sound a little more focused on children than I would like, but it did not end up being that way. It's a great place for both parties of adults and parties of children. You can pick out your own hats and boas and coffee cups, which is just fun, and then the food. Yum. The scones and cream were lovely, a nice selection of tea sandwiches were offered, and the sweet treats to end it all were quite tasty. Great ambience and a perfect place to enjoy with some friends. My only complaint is that the service started out a bit slow. We sat for about 20 minutes (we did get water during this time), waiting to order. Otherwise, it truly was a great experience.

Yelp
DCT had a special event this past Sunday: a "Galentine's" tea party. My daughter and I went and I have to say that there was no detail that had not been beautifully planned for. Our two hostesses were lovely and attentive, the rest of the ladies so much fun. The tea was delish. AND there were games and prizes and surprises. Well done, ladies of DCT. And thank you.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful for my daughters birthday party! Elena and Quinn went above and beyond and my daughter and her friends had a magical time! I couldn't recommend this more

Yelp
This place is absolutely adorable! I got the "high tea for two," portions were very nice! The tea was delicious, staff was generous!

Yelp
Very cute tea room with tasty sandwich options. My favorite was the turkey cranberry sandwiches. Fun place to visit with friends or for a mother/daughter outing.

Yelp
I made a reservation a week in advance for a Saturday for my Mother-in-law and I as I've always wanted to do a high tea. We parked in the back as I was a little unsure of where the building was due to the fact they moved down the street. The min we walked in we were both blown away, it was absolutely beautiful. We were greeted by the owner who was very sweet and friendly. She allowed us to wonder, take pictures and was very attentive. When we finally sat after roaming around we ordered the High Tea for Two (I highly recommend). It consisted of two pots of tea, I had the Earl of Grey Lavender and my MIL had the Pumpkin Spice. We both ordered the mixed green salad, triple berry scones which were AMAZING with the clotted cream and jam. Not too sweet and paired perfectly. For Tea sandwiches we chose 6 different ones and they were SO good and then the seasonal desserts and berries. Everything was exceptional. We were there for about 2 hours and we enjoyed every min of it as it was just beautiful inside and so much to look at. I highly recommend making a reservation, taking a couple of hours out of your day and enjoying tea time in this beautiful fairy tale of a place with your closest girl friends, your mom, gma, your daughter or whomever. I will definitely be back and I cannot wait.

Yelp
"Would you care for a spot of tea?" "Oh yes please, 2 lumps of sugar please." Are you a "pinkies up" type of tea drinker? Or perhaps you prefer the two hand hold approach, like you would on a cold day? Whatever you love about tea, Dream Come True Tea House will drench you in all types of charming tea house fanciness! The place has a pink room (main dining room) and blue room (party room), that boasts adorable kitsch (technically an oxymoron, but I don't care) galore! There is a huge selection of loose leaf tea that are displayed in large glass jars on the wall behind the front reception desk. What do I love most about this place, aside from the service (Zoe is the best!), charm of the tea cups/plates/pots of various origins and knowledge of tea steeping times to optimize your tea tasting experience... I love that the owner has chosen to purchase locally, from local bakeries, markets, etc. In essence that's the true way to build community isn't it? Also, the orange, cranberry scones are to DIE for. I mean, come on. Whenever I eat scones (biscuits), I'm ready for the crumble effect that comes with every bite. Their scones are tender (can a scone be tender?? Lol), chewy and delicious. I can eat little finger sandwiches all day, especially the salmon mousse, which is my absolute favorite and the divine strawberry and cream as well. Dress up in your finest tea outfit, complete with hats and gloves and try it out! Highly recommend! Parking lot in back, street parking in front. Residential parking if you want to take a short stroll.

Yelp
Note: I've been to other tea rooms and it was more professional and well neated. Also, we were the only customers in the Tea Restaurant/place. Our small office went here for a going away thing for a coworker. I expected much more for the price we are paying.... First of all, the lady(owner/manager) informs us that the AC broke a week ago. We booked a couple of weeks in advance. She should have let our party know that its not going to be repaired in time and maybe we could have rescheduled for another time or seat us outside because we are in a pandemic time. Also, it was a hot hot day. There was one floor square fan for the big room(cute decor), and it was a hot hot day. She should have bought more fans to accommodate for the broken AC. The floor fan was placed on one side of the room so the first five peeps sitting near the fan was kept cool and the rest of the party was hot and sweaty. Yea we should have asked if we can move her fan over to the other side in an angle so at least all of our party can feel the small breeze. The lady got mad and didnt want us to touch the fan. The fan could not be put in angle because there was no outlet on that side and she didn't have an extension cord. She then moved the fan over to the middle, so now only the people sitting in the middle could feel the small breeze and again the rest of the party was hot n sweaty. We all agreed our teas were very delicious. I had the peach oolong tea. We all had our own decorated pot of tea which was nice. Since we booked in advance, everyone in our party submitted our food and drink menu early so it can be an easy transition when we got here and not wait so long for our items since we had a medium size party. We were given jam and spread(delicious) to share among two people each(unfortunately it was not enough for two). We asked for more jam and spread but she did not want give us any extra. She kept saying that it wastes and ends up throwing it away... ummm its part of the package deal right?! If not, then the menu should be specific on how much is given and if needed more, then add it as a side charge or something. The appetizer biscuit was good but was only given one flavor, unlike the choices provided on the menu that we gave in advance. We all got the blueberry scone and said it was the flavor of the month. Even tho I wanted the chocolate chip scone, the blueberry was good. Flavor of the month should also be mentioned on the menu. The sandwiches was good but it could have been more neat(using a sharper knife to cut the edges in half). The sandwiches looked like it had been cut using a dull knife so it was pressed down when cut in half. The mini dessert was good. When it was time for checkout, we were waiting for the check. Again, we were the only party at the restaurant/tea room and paid with one check and payment. It took her a long time to check us out even when asked a few times. The experience did not exceed the price we paid.

Yelp
We had my daughter's bridal shower there this past weekend. Everyone had a great time, from my teenage niece, to my elderly mom. The food was great and I loved that I could get pots of whatever tea we wanted.

Leah O.

Yelp
Super cute tea room. Great place to take takes for tea. Food was good and the prices were very reasonable. To the business...maybe switch to natural cleaning supplies. Some of our party is scent sensitive and the bleach smell was off putting.

Yelp
Delicious traditional tea in a beautifully appointed setting with friendly and efficient service. Properly brewed tea. Large selection of teas. Highly recommend.

Yelp
What a beautiful and perfect place to enjoy high tea with your little princess(es)! So glad to have found this special gem!!! My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience here today and we cant wait to return! We enjoyed the 2 pots of tea, you get to choose 6 different types of finger sandwiches. The warm scones and soup of the day were delish! Fresh fruits and desserts were delightful. My daughter loved the red velvet cake; it was super moist! Overall, our experience exceeded our expectation. Service was 5 stars!

Yelp
Very cute and quant. Great service. The scones were amazing. The salad was just whatever. The sandwich selections were good and very filling.

Yelp
My mom and I decided to have an afternoon of tea and shopping, so we started here at Dream Come True. This small business is absolutely lovely! We were cordially greeted immediately upon walking in for our 11:30 reservation. The server explained the menu to us and answered all our questions. The earl grey lavender tea is what I decided to start with, and it arrived in the cutest teapot! The tri berry scone came next, and it was divine: warm, sweet, and the clotted cream melted with the jam topped it all off. Next was the arugula salad, and it was crisp and sweet. By the time my Serendipity Tea service came with the sandwiches, fruit, and desserts, I could only eat half. Overall, I loved the experience. The ambiance was magical, the service was great, and the food was heavenly. Easily a 10/10 experience--highly recommended for people of all ages!

Yelp
This place is super cute. The whole store is like an homage to tea time and Alice in Wonderland. The staff is lovely and very thorough in making sure you understand what you're in for, and super friendly and the tea services are really good, too. There used to be a similar tea spot near the wharf years ago, and this place is very reminiscent of that, so I throughly enjoyed myself. It's VERY kid friendly, but not overly kiddish, so adults and little ones can both find something to enjoy

Yelp
WOW! What a wonderful experience! Five stars on every thing. Our party of four enjoyed a relaxing fun afternoon. The décor was fun and lake a fantasy, There was so much to look at including a secret door to the party room. We started off with each of us receiving our own pot of tea. I ordered the Black Carmel, I loved it which is saying a lot considering I am picky about my tea. The tea pots are a good size, I believe I filled my cup three times. Then for the food, first was the scone. Oh my goodness the scone... it was beyond delicious and a good size. Next was the salad with a wonderful dressing. And then came out the master piece, two multi tiered china serving trays filled with five or six different types of sandwiches and a large array of beautiful mini deserts. It was all so beautiful and delicious. There flowers and berries adding to the beauty of it. And so much food we all had some to take home. We had the owner Elena as our server she has done a fantastic job creating an experience that you should not miss. If you have never been here you are truly missing out. Everything about it was wonderful. I look forward to going here again.

Shayda B.

Yelp
Dreamy, magical decor & an Alice in wonderland ambiance. I enjoyed the experience but wouldn't return. Likes: Ambiance/ scones were tasty/ sandwiches were decent Dislikes: Service was not happening- this could have been because there were 2 little girl birthdays so maybe the servers were focused on those. But hey, when you're with your own group and pay $ you should still get someone checking in on you. Another dislike was that my group was served our high tea in pieces. We had salads dropped off then 20 mins later a few scones then way later our other stuff and tea. High tea is brought out all together and the tea should be hot. Def a place you visit for the vibe but it's not a high tea experience. Mediocre overall. Cute place to visit. Great for little girls/kids.

Erin K.

Yelp
The menu and advertising is misleading. Menu states the dessert includes petit fours, cheesecake and lemon bars, when the tower arrived we received what was in the photo below. When I asked why, they said oh well that's what we have for the day. Two thumbs down

Yelp
Delighted with this tea room. The owner and employees were attentive, the food was delicious and it was as cute as could be. I went with my friend who goes to tea rooms often and is fussy about her high teas and she loved it and thought the prices were great.

Yelp
I went here for my friend's bridal shower. I feel like I really got a lot for my dollar at this place. The decorations were cute, the tea was good and their vegan sandwiches were yummy! Their bathroom needs a little bit of work, but I heard they had just moved into that location, so no worries. The tea waitresses were very nice and helpful and gave great recommendations for the more caffeinated teas.

Yelp
I'm very happy to have found Dream Come True for a final afternoon tea with 2 of my girlfriends before the baby comes. The night before, I was scrambling to find a place that could accommodate us the next morning when I realized that Basilur at the Source discontinued their afternoon tea. Through searching online, I found Dream Come True on a list of best afternoon teas in the LA area. Compared to others (many open at 11 or 11:30), Dream Come True opens earlier at 10 and is more convenient because you can book reservations online via Open Table. I called the morning of and left a message and received a call back from Elena who confirmed when there was an availability. I appreciated her direct and prompt communication! There was plenty of parking on the street in front of the store and parking in the lot in the back, which made parking easy. They have a setup for outdoor dining in the parking lot and the store itself is very cute with a traditional garden party vibe and also a trendy neon light photo wall. Elena gave us great menu recommendations for our party of 3 to do the High Tea for 2 set with add-ons as needed for a third person. Adding a scone and pot of tea for the third person worked out perfectly for us and was the perfect amount of food since it comes with 6 tea sandwich pairs to share. I love how easy it is to customize things a La carte here. You can also ask for the tea sandwiches to be made on different breads than listed. We picked soup over salad since the weather was chilly that day. Their tea menu has some updates which she went over verbally but I couldn't remember them all. I already knew I wanted a tea with peach however so I had the Peach Oolong, which had the peach aroma I was looking for and was nice and light. Based on Elena's recommendations, my 2 friends had the Buttercream black tea and the Summer Rose black tea. The Summer Rose is a heavier, thicker tea for those who like their teas strong. Both were very fragrant but the Butterscotch was amazingly smooth and tasted like caramel. You don't even need to add sugar to it. It's a must-get! For the tea sandwiches, we picked 2 orders of roast beef, 1 hummus, 1 sesame crusted chicken salad, and 2 salmon mousse. The roast beef was everyone's favorite. We also loved the sesame crusted chicken salad, which was unique and tasty. I would definitely order more of the sesame chicken in a future visit. The hummus one was very fresh, but the salmon one tasted more like cream cheese than we expected. The assorted sweets were apple bars, raspberry bars, fruit and petit fours. I enjoyed the bars and sweet fresh berries. I couldn't have the petit four because of my gestational diabetes, but wish they had macarons. Our reservation was at 11 and we were served our tea and scones at 11:40. The tea came in adorable large pots - we were barely able to finish it during our time there and none of us needed a refill. The scone (a cranberry orange) is served deliciously warm and is also large. The scone itself and the icing is quite sweet but the clotted cream balanced it out. We enjoyed having the traditional clotted cream! The blackberry preserve was also good but didn't go as well with this particular scone, which was already strongly-flavored. The butternut squash soup arrived soon after in a small cute cup. It was thick and creamy and held us over for the next 40 minutes until our tea sandwiches were served at 12:30. It was a pretty long wait in between so good thing there was plenty of tea and the scone is pretty substantial. Not sure if it's because there were 2 other parties there for afternoon tea, a diner there for brunch, and a private party next door, but the pace is more suitable for those who have a leisurely afternoon and aren't in a rush. Elena also offered us a complimentary mimosa since she was making it for the brunch diner. That was very sweet of her. The other 2 servers were equally as sweet and friendly and helped us to snap a lot of photos. All in all, for 3, the total was about $90 which is very affordable. We were happy and satisfied with the taste and the amount of food. The highlights were the Butterscotch tea, clotted cream w/ scone, and roast beef & sesame crusted sandwiches. It was a wonderful setting for us to catch up and get good photos for our memories. Definitely recommend it for a girls day out for afternoon tea or just for brunch (they currently serve quiche and crepes)!

Yelp
Wow. What a fantastic birthday celebration for my daughter. Very clean venue. Well organized. Tea and drinks were of great quality. The food was top notch, sandwiches were very fresh and I am now stuck on their sesame chicken, roast beef, egg salad, and peanut butter and jelly. I am now craving all of those. Hope they have takeout. Great job Elena and team. The scones were warm and fluffy. My daughter is a big fan of tea and this venue just helped me enjoy it for the first time along with my family that are mostly coffee drinkers. We had an adult party with kids as well. Elena and her team kept our event fun with lively activities and hospitality throughout the event. They made everything seamless. Elena organized the event for me and made me feel assured that all would be well, and she and her team exceeded all our expectations. Oh the fruit was fresh and the desserts were as well, the brownie melted in my mouth. Elena was able to accommodate me at the last minute, thank you. Thanks Elena and team. You are the best. Our hostesses were top notch and made it magical as well. A heartfelt thanks to them also.

Yelp
So disappointed, I made a reservation for my daughter's bday and we were so excited to have high tea. We got there at 11:30am very hungry and the lady that attended us was very nice. She took our order and brought out our half pot teas, scones, and coffee .... Fast forward 2 hours later. No food, no tea service, no communication. We were starving and literally after all that waiting we asked when our food was coming.... Because we had a movie to catch...She said she would put a rush and 20 min later no food. We had to leave $ 55 on the table and walk out. It was ridiculous. We also noticed all the other ppl were also waiting longer than us

Yelp
I had made a reservation for my sister's birthday about a month in advance. A few days before the reservation, I called the restaurant to confirm and ask a couple of questions, but no answer. No problem--I left a voicemail requesting a call back. The woman (presumably the owner) returned my call a couple of hours later just to let me know that the restaurant was closed until June due to their move and that my reservation was canceled. Shocked, I asked why I wasn't told. The woman told me that they sent out notices about the canceled reservations via text and email through OpenTable, where reservations are made online. I never received any texts or emails, and I had checked my Spam folder. I realized that I did not receive any messages because I did not make my reservation through OpenTable--I had called the restaurant directly to make the reservation! Because the restaurant had not saved my information through the website, I never got a notice about the reservation being canceled, and I was left without a place to celebrate my sister's birthday with only two days to find another high tea place (a near impossible feat with high tea so in demand nowadays). I do appreciate that the owner returned my call quickly. Furthermore, while I sympathize with the restaurant having to move, they should have considered the guests who made a reservation directly with the restaurant, not through OpenTable. They should have let me know that it was canceled rather than allowing me to find out on my own. I hope to give them another chance and edit my review in the future, but this was not a great first experience.

Yelp
I came to Dream Come True on a Friday for lunch and it is magical! They recently moved locations, and the new place is just beautiful. We ordered the High Tea for two and it was plenty. It comes with two pots of tea so I had the wild strawberry tea and it was so delicious that I actually bought the tea leafs to go. We also had the peach tea lemonade which was also very delicious. The scones are beyond amazing and big enough to share. For finger sandwiches we had the strawberry Nutella which my niece loved, we also ordered the strawberries and cream and the cucumber cream cheese. They were all delicious and perfectly cut. The staff was very sweet and attentive. The place does seem to be getting some work done which could explain why the restroom seemed to be under construction. I highly recommend this place for tea time!

Yelp
Nice little tea place. Came here to celebrate nieces birthday. Love the tea selection. Sandwiches were delicious. Nice teacups and tea pots. Everything was awesome except when it came time to clear the table the younger lady just reached over didn't say excuse and she was just on me reaching over, I did not like that as it is not professional. I recommend the tea house but expect to have someone on you when it's time to clear the table.

Yelp
This is a Woman/Family Owned business. Their tea was top grade, their scones w/clotted cream and preserves was mouth watering. Their tea sandwiches were perfectly cut and fresh! It felt like I was in someone's home being waited on, kindly & they help w/selection of needed. You just feel good .. sitting in comfy sofa chairs or fancy 4 legged ones and you can chat away the afternoon. They have a large room for private parties too. Decorated to the hills in girly frills. Please come visit, bring Grandma and revel in stories of old. I wish I could rate it 10 stars!

Yelp
Amazing time, and incredible service! The experience was awesome, I just love how attentive the host was, she made sure we had everything and every need taken care of ! We never had to ask for anything, she didn't hover over you, while she did engage you just enough! The food was hot, fresh and plentiful! We drove a very long way to get there, so it truly helped that we enjoyed every moment . There is so much to see while you're there, I almost think you need to plan a separate trip with a bestie or a close family member so you can see everything within the venue! I can't say enough about my visit! Just go if you can. I can't wait to visit them again!!!

Yelp
I took my sisters and niece to Dream Come True for a special visit while they were in town. Elaina (the owner) made sure we were treated like queens, and the experience was one we won't soon forget. She offered helpful suggestions about the menu, and it was clear she puts a lot of thought and care into the variety and quality of the teas that she offers. The food also far exceeded expectations, and the portions were larger than we expected (the high tea tower for 2 and another smaller tower were perfect for 4 people). They have completely transformed the dining room into a dreamscape, with lots of quirky tea sets and hand painted details. This place is truly a hidden gem. Thank you for the magical time Elaina!

Yelp
This place is awesome, and their food is delish!! I wanted to do takeout for Mother's Day cuz my mom doesn't go out, and Elena was so great. She packed everything to go, even with doilies on the bottom of the boxes. We had a great selection of tea sandwiches, and I had a hard time choosing a favorite cuz they were all so good. The scone with the cream and jam was delicious, and the arugula salad was so refreshing. The desserts were fabulous too. We had the peach, forest berries and pumpkin spice teas, and I think the berry tea was my fave. My mom had a fabulous Mother's Day thanks to Elena. She loved it!!

Yelp
Was trying to book an enchanted princess tea party for my daughter and her 9 friends and scheduled and appointment to go see the location but the owner read my message and ignored me. I got out of work early from Santa Ana to be in Long Beach on time for nothing

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely tea with my mom last weekend. This place is very sweet and charming. The tea for two was so yummy and generous that we had a full takeout box to enjoy later! All the food was excellent, but the good old egg salad sandwiches ended up being our favorite. Our server was Jen, who is perfect and made us feel welcome. The place got pretty lively as they were hosting a birthday party for five year olds, and it was fun to see all the little princesses running around!

Yelp
We just had the most lovely afternoon tea here. The decor is elegant and eclectic - just fun. The service was wonderful and the food delicious! We ordered the High Tea for Two and it was a lot of amazing food. We started with the orange cranberry scones which were delightful, such a perfect texture! I was really impressed! My daughter had a nice salad and I had the Butternut Squash soup (it was perfectly spiced). The tea tray came with a great chef selection of finger sandwiches, fresh fruit, and yummy sweets (cheesecake, lemon bars, and petite fours). Service was spot on - they brought each item out as we finished the previous and mainly left us to enjoy ourselves, but were very responsive when we had questions or needs. A perfect visit!

Yelp
Not sure if it was a bad day or the owner didn't like us. We were one of the first to arrive but the last to be served. We didn't get all our food even after asking multiple times. The owner didn't make eye contact and had no problem charging full price. A very negative feeling especially during the holidays.

Yelp
We came on a Sunday and had a reservation. While the food was tasty, I am giving 3 stars because our service was very poor. Now I want to give you guys the benefit of the doubt because you only had one worker. But also it's very confusing because we had the reservation for 2 months, so it was expected we were going to be there. There was also a few other party's there at the same time of us.Our reservation was at 12:30, we waited close to 2 hrs for our food. We never got a refill on drinks or tea and maybe 5 minutes before we paid our bill someone was barely getting their soup. Again, I understand being understaffed but an apology or acknowledgment of the wait time would have been appreciated. I know you guys have good service because my friends have been their before and had a great time, which is why they wanted to take the rest of our group. But I would be nervous to return because of the service I received that day.
