We checked into Drei Konige Hotel. Six floors and we were in room 604. The small elevator held a maximum of three passengers and their luggage so it took a while for our group of 42 to get to their rooms. They give you a huge key which would be difficult to lose. You have to turn a switch when you enter your room so the lights will go on. Two single beds were joined, and each had its own comforter. There was a desk with a small lamp and an electrical socket. I had to go to the front desk to get an adapter for my European plug. They do not have hot pots in the rooms, but they do have a large container of hot water and carafes to transport the hot water to your room if desired. The bathroom had a tub/shower. One thing we find very annoying and dangerous is the fact there was a raised lip entering your room and also your bathroom. Both are possible tripping hazards.

Excellent location. Close to Chapel Bridge, Altstadt & the tram-stop to the Main Train Station is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. Room is amazing. Bed is comfy & warm. Stayed on a higher floor where there's a balcony 😍Breakfast was the basics, nothing fancy...but spread was good enough to kickstart your day. I'm grateful breakfast came with room. I'll definitely return for a stay when I visit Lucerne again! Highly recommended!👍👍👍

Excellent stay! The location is super convenient. Staff is wonderful, breakfast is great! Lots of choice. Only small downside would be the bed being super soft. But that might be because I'm used to sleeping on a matress that is basically a wooden plank😁Will definitely return! Luzern is such a wonderful city!

The room is clean and bigger than I expected. Bed is comfortable. Receptions are very friendly and helpful with self travelers. Location is near to train station by bus. It’s easy to access to Old town. Overall highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, big room for a solo traveler.|Good water pressure,plenty of hot water. Slept like a baby, double locks on door and a safe. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Older property 4 stops on the bus/trolley bus from the main train station.||Very friendly staff who helped me identify what to do in Lucerne and the lady at Breakfast who was lovely.||Room was small but comfortable. French and Swiss plug sockets. View from room nothing to write home about but you are staying at a hotel that is built in narrow streets so expect a view of other buildings.||Easy to get back into town either walking or via bus/trolleybus.||Good value for money considering the price of other accommodation in Lucerne.

I visited Switzerland for 10+ days and we had the best experience with this hotel. Not the best location for us but for someone who values comfort, this is the place to stay. I will come back and stay at this hotel again for my next trip.

We love having this restaurant attached to the hotel so we can just hop over during rainy evenings. We had delicious burgers and apple pie. There is a charming atmosphere and the staff is very helpful. Our waiter translated the entire menu to English for us!
