Dresden's Bed and Breakfast

This was our second time staying at Dresden's house, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. Dresden is incredibly helpful, always thinking about where we could go or what we could do, and she pays attention to every single detail. The house is consistently very clean, the shower is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect for relaxing; it's in a beautiful, very quiet neighborhood. Yet, within just a few blocks' walk, you can reach the Walk of Fame. Without a doubt, we will be back again!

I first found out about Dresden's B&B ten years ago; I was looking for a place in Hollywood near sites I wanted to see, but this random find has become a ten-year friendship. I used to stay with family for most of my trips, but Dresden's has become my go-to spot. She is a great host and genuinely cares about her guests. Dresden gives great advice regarding what to visit, tells amazing stories, and is incredibly knowledgeable. ||The house is well-taken care of and beds are very comfortable. Coffee and continental breakfast is offered for those who want a simple start to their day and there are a variety of restaurants within walking distance for lunch and dinner. (Check out John Kelly Chocolates down the street, if you have a sweet tooth.) If you have rented a car, or are thinking of renting one, there is a spot for you to park.||This is a great home base for those wanting to explore Hollywood, and after a day of exploring, there is a great outdoor space to sit back and relax.

A home away from home. Very beautiful and cozy home. Dresden was such a wonderful host, who is caring, funny and a pleasure to chat with. She is very knowledgeable of what places are best to explore in the area. The best part of our stay was meeting Senior the orange cat who comes to visit. He was the best cat we have ever come across!

The stay was really nice. Dresden is a friendly and funny host and the location is great. Really beautiful backyard to chill out, clean and comfortable room and bathroom. It is well located in a calm street between Sunset and Hollywood boulevard. West Hollywood is safe and nice for tourists but also if you want to go for a hike in Runyon Canyon or to see a tourist attraction like the Chinese Theater. From Dresdens B&B, there are several Bus and Metro Stations reachable by foot as well. I can recommend this B&B by Dresden!

What a wonderful find! Dresden is outgoing, friendly and funny. We felt immediately at home in a well-appointed room with a comfortable queen bed and a shared (no problem) modern bathroom. My choices last minute were between a cheap, sterile motel or an overpriced, luxury hotel, neither of which is my style. Free parking on the residential street and walking distance in Hollywood to food, coffee, shuttle busses…I’m so delighted we found Dresden!

Our house needed some repairs and we needed somewhere local to stay short term. Dresden’s was like a home away from home! And she is the best host there is. The location is fantastic, her street is charming and her backyard oasis was relaxing for a swim and reading a book. We would recommend to any family or friends looking for a great place to stay in Hollywood!

We had the pleasure of staying with Dresden for a second time (after 10yrs) and found her to be once again, a very gracious hostess. We slept very well for our 5 night stay and felt very much at home. Dresden is a wealth of information being very cultured and knowledgeable about all that LA has to offer. We used public transportation and found the location extremely accessible and efficient. We’ll definitely return! We’d love to make time to sit and converse with our exceptional hostess!
