Savanah was great! Outstanding service very attentive to me and my order. Can't wait to come back and chat her up again, and enjoy some more fantastic service! Oh, also one of the best old fashions I've ever had! Thanks!

Google
My server was Reese. She had such a great attitude and actually smiled. Those who worked with her were not the same way. One waitress about started a fight with a customer while the gentleman seemed to egg her on. My compliment is 100% for Reese who just continued to be as friendly and served well. It is so good to see someone as nice and kind as her despite the actions of her co-workers.

I Absolutely Love This Place. I Came Here With My Boyfriend On Baecation & Savannah Was Our Waitress , She Was AMAZING. Very Attentive, Super Friendly and Warm Welcoming. We Had Issues With No Drink Prices On The Menu Which Was VERY Frustrating Especially Since We Needed A Drink Since Our Flight Was Delayed But She Knew Her Stuff & Handled Everything Like A Pro. Her Vibe Made This Experience Incredible. I Most Def Will Be Coming Back Especially If Savannah Is My Waitress!!! She Deserves A Raise For Going ABOVE & BEYOND She’s TOP TIER !! Thanks Savannah Stay GREAT 🫶🏽

I had the pleasure of dining at Drew Pearson Sports 88 in DFW Airport, and it was an outstanding experience! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, which made it the perfect stop during a busy travel day. What really stood out, though, was our server, Liz. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Her kindness and professionalism made us feel truly taken care of, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. If you’re passing through DFW, be sure to stop by and ask for Liz—you won’t be disappointed!

Google
I enjoyed Savanah so much! Customers were angry due to delayed flights, myself included and tensions were high but her energy and personality was so infectious you couldn’t help but feel better. Amazing customer service! She also had great product knowledge! Prices weren’t on the menus and she was still able to make great suggestions! I’ll be seeing you again soon girl!

I came to this bar to celebrate a special occasion and expected a relaxing experience, but was met with extremely poor customer service. From the beginning, the servers both female and male on May 23,2025 at 6pm were rude and uninterested when we asked simple questions about their happy hr sales. After ordering and paying for our drinks which 4 drinks were way too overpriced (airport price) one of the female servers openly complained about the tip amount in front of other customers so disgusting attitude!. She even double check the receipt and told her fellow colleague out loud that her tip was so small! This was completely unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. If you're unhappy with your pay, that's an issue to take up with management not customers who are already paying premium prices for drinks. We only had two drinks each, yet the attitude we received was unacceptable. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the establishment. I won’t be returning for a preflight drink or any other occasion. This place should shut down!!!! The female there is disgusting with an ugly attitude. She should get a different job with her poor customer service and ungratefulness. If she had great customer service and was nice to everyone and not complained I'm 100% it will be a different story , poor customer service! The place is by far my first experience with 100% worst customer service,. Never coming back to this place again

Google
We had a great excellent service all thanks to our server Savanah in spite of it being extremely busy for her. She showed great professionalism and patience with us. she didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond with her performance, we are very excited to come back again see her again.

Google
I should have asked the guys name that was serving me for breakfast today. This dude was super chill to anyone that came in, helpful and attentive. One of the tv’s was so loud I could hear it over my earbuds but other than that, 10/10. I got the biscuit and gravy platter and it was delicious. The price was also one of the best I’ve seen, less than $16 for a platter and side.

Yelp
Thank you to Salvador who saved the sale! Rude female woman on the loose! We were trying to buy 2 sandwiches to go ($38 total bill....yes 2 turkey sandwiches). Was told by female server..."to go over there". I looked & there was no one. Only stacked up napkins & stuff, looking for a self check out or person to ring us up. Tried to clarify with her..."She said TO GO over there. This is for diners...pointing to the bar". Basically raised her voice, rolled her eyes and walked away. In comes Salvador to save the day. Thank you Salvador! And to the rude unhappy woman, find another job. Because my $38 purchase of sandwiches qualifies for dining and is more expensive than a beer.

Yelp
Visited this place back in January. Decent place to kill time when you have the Priority Pass. The fries were absolutely terrible. It was hard (not crunchy) but soft on the inside. Weirdly shaped. Is this a Texas thing? The steamed veggies were sad but I needed vegetables. Pulled pork wasn't that bad though.

Jeannette T.

Yelp
Dirty glasses that had been in the bar for at least an hour! Don't know she. The surface was wiped clean last. Bar tender kept complaining that he was ready to leave he'd had a 10 hour day and was fine A lot can improve !!
google avatar

Evan F.

Yelp
For an airport restaurant, these folks supplied surprisingly decent wings and other pub grub favorites. Service left a bit to be desired, but the food hit the spot.
google avatar

Greg T.

Yelp
Who knew Drew Pearson had a bar at DFW? On my return back home from the Total Solar Eclipse (which was AMAZING!), I spent some quality time here nursing an ice-cold local Texas brew. What I like about Sports 88 is that it's a lot larger than it first seems. When you walk in, it just looks like an enclosed bar area. But along two sides, there's open-area seating with several tables. Service was fast & friendly! I perused the food menu, but was still full from breakfast so I didn't partake. Looked good, though. Next time I'm in this part of DFW, I'll definitely stop by again!

Yelp
Don't come here if you're in a rush for food. The service was on the slower side and the staff didn't seem to care. It is a good place to watch sports with drinks! We ordered chicken wings, burger and queso. Surprisingly the queso was pretty good, chicken wings were decent and the burger was basic. Overall not bad for airport food. When it came to the bill we had priority pass and it netted a zero balance bill. The waiter got frustrated and slammed the receipts down and walked away. Ironically we were going to ask if he could charge us for a tip but didn't after he walked away.

Yelp
Despite some of the scathing reviews, I had a decent time here. Arrived early morning before my flight and used Priority Pass. Bummer they don't serve alcohol on Sundays until 10am. The cutoff is 7am every other day. I chatted with other travelers disappointed by this. Anyways I ordered basic black coffee and a breakfast burrito that the bartender recommended. That's apparently the only good thing on the menu, and he wasn't wrong. The bartender was cool. Fun place to catch some sports games before your flight.
google avatar

Alejandra P.

Yelp
I had the black bean burger. It was decent. I mean I ate it because it was $20. But the fries weren't great. Baked? Ewe. The server was nice. It's the only veggie non dairy option they had. Zero vegan options. I wouldn't return.

Yelp
My flight was scheduled to depart from Gate E9, near my favourite venue where I usually enjoy my lite breakfast snack before boarding my flight. As I was heading to Gate E9, there was an announcement that there was a gate change to Gate E4. Drew Pearson's Sports 88 was at Gate E5 so I decided to check it out and I'm glad that I did because I won't be patronizing them anymore. I accepted the fact that I couldn't order a Bloody Mary until 7 a.m., only a 15 minute wait, but the breakfast menu did not have many choices so I ended up with the Cowboy Platter, eggs, Chorizo sausage, biscuit and gravy. The only meat choices were, chorizo sausage, turkey sausage, and bacon, NO PORK SAUSAGE option. The Bloody Mary was nothing to write home about. I'm sorry but next time if my flight is departing from the Gate 5 area, I'm gonna walk the distance to Gate E9 to get my lite breakfast snack at my usual spot

Yelp
7 of us ate here while waiting for our flight home. Menu has a decent variety of options. Pretty much everything is what one should expect from an airport restaurant. Nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible. My Mac and cheese had plenty of cheese, but its taste was average. My wife liked her chili, but to me it tasted just like Dennison. Waitress was overwhelmed, but did her best. Food took a while to arrive, so if you are in a hurry this place probably is not a good option.
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
The food is just a tiny grade up from a grade school cafeteria. Maybe similar to a magic mountain type food. $24 for a bbq platter is not worth it. Very limited staff but the ones there are doing what they can. In and out in 30 min at 11:30 am on a Sunday. Would rethink if I even come here on a priority pass. I tipped $5 for one person bbq platter. Not sure the food was worth it. Really just a touch above edible.
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
Came here with Priority Pass and had a great experience. The waiter/bartender/service was fantastic. I ordered chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and queso. The food came out quickly and was hot; the waiter was on top of water refills; and she offered to bring additional ranch for my chicken tenders completely unprompted. The food was okay/good and I didn't have any specific complaints. Would happily come again with Priority Pass.
google avatar

Joanna M.

Yelp
We came here because of the priority pass. The place was confusing. It was packed at the bar but luckily there were a few tables towards the back. It was like sitting in the waiting area for a flight though, they really utilized a small space I guess. The food was GROSS. The wings were overcooked and the "ranch" was questionable. The bbq sliders and burgers were overcooked like they were under a heat lamp. The fries were also confusing. Luckily the only saving grace was our waitress, Moriah--she was kind, attentive and she was the only waitress for like 50 people. I definitely respected her effort and kindness towards us. It's a shame for a new restaurant in a terminal that the food and ambiance was very not good.

Scotty D.

Yelp
Chicken Tenders are from a freezer bag, pretty sure they are Tyson. Not acceptable for a serious restaurant and bar
google avatar

Star B.

Yelp
They denied PRIORITY PASS to my sister and her plus one because they were in uniform!!! There is nothing in the rules that says you cant be in a uniform. Wow I tried to contact them and no one answers. It just rings! So please note that if you're using priority pass do NOT be in a uniform! Wow If someone reaches out to me I will update here! Until then.... I'm boycotting!

Frank B.

Yelp
Located at gate E-5, staff was friendly and quick with drinks and food. Worked out well for us as E-5 was our departure gate. You can eat / drink at the bar or sit in the small table area.

Fernando S.

Yelp
This place does not open at 6am as advertised. I was willing to put up with the low quality food and poor customer service that I've experienced before for the convenience of location. At least I got my steps in.

Joyce K.

Yelp
Walked out and would never return! Asked for table to be wiped off and obviously the female was not happy! Asked if she knew wine price of chardonnay and replied "I have-no idea"! She was the bartender! The place was not busy and understand why! Why is it so hard to get pricing on drinks? Must be able to charge what they feel like? She Never returned to give me the price of a glass of wine?Oh well, left and found a much better establishment!

Kristina M.

Yelp
I ordered chicken tacos. I could not believe they serve canned chicken! Drew Pearson should be ashamed of this place.
google avatar

Brooke P.

Yelp
The staff are absolutely awesome, this is so busy and crowded!!! They handled it very well!!!! Great food, I'd come here again:)
google avatar

Praneeth P.

Yelp
Don't go here if you are in rush. The service is slow that you will lose your appetite. The waitress doesn't even have the courtesy to even take the order. Had to wait for 20 min hoping to place a to go order and in the end left as there was no one to take the order. Waitress is more interested in connecting money rather than taking orders. One of my worst priority pass experience in my 5 years tenure. Wouldn't recommend it at all.
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Ugh, not tasty, overpriced airport food. One draft blue moon beer and a super dry black bean burger (what even are those "fries"?!) is $37! do yourself a favor and not eat at this tasteless, insanely overpriced place.
google avatar

Tyler R.

Yelp
Nightmare. It was fairly busy when we got here. We took that as a good sign. It was not. We had 45 minutes before boarding our flight, we assumed this would be plenty of time. It was not. 2 salads, a turkey wrap, and a warm cookie seemed like a fairly straightforward, non-messuppable order. It was not. Salads had chicken on them that looked, felt, and tasted like some sort of off white ambiguous matter that you might use to mold some styrofoam. The cookie managed to come 20 minutes before the rest of the food, and it was...a rock. Very not good. The rest of the food came during group 1 boarding. We were group 2. Great. The sandwich is the source of this "lone star" experience, the turkey wrap was actually okay. Not great, but edible. It was the only thing taken to go. The "salads" didn't make the cut. Oh, and what we ordered? With just waters to drink? $80. Yes, $80. Terrible. When in DFW Terminal E...I'd say this is a safe place to avoid.
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Didn't even get to try the place cause the lady was so rude to me! The ppl who work here, clearly hate their jobs and don't want to be there. I would suggest you to try somewhere else. They don't appreciate priority pass members. Clearly don't want your business. Save the hassle and the walk over!

Lily P.

Yelp
Had a great meal here on Tuesday as we passed through. Big portioned Southwest Caesar salad was tasty. The best part of the meal was our speedy and friendly server Liz. She brought us extra plates and sauce and was all around fantastic. Would definitely visit again next time we come through here.
google avatar

Honest A.

Yelp
Small portions, Mac and cheese tasted like frozen food, slow service, most sides were out by 5pm. I will avoid it next time
google avatar

Dave A.

Yelp
Quite understaffed. Waitress let us know...fair. The gal helping us told us it was her first day and acted like it. Food was subpar bar food. Would just go for drinks.

Julie W.

Yelp
Liz was OUTSTANDING!!! How rare to have a server greet you as soon as you sit down, didn't have to ask for water, gave me time to decide, was right back to take my order while juggling many other patrons not to mention how kind and friendly she was. In this day and age, it is practically rare to have excellent service and a hospitable and caring attitude! Can't wait to go back, thanks, LIZ!!!

Chad G.

Yelp
Chili and tortilla chips.... Taste exactly liked canned hormels and ask the server and she verified it was.... Sad

Jason W.

Yelp
This place is so nasty! They give you basically the equivalent of dog food in a takeout container and this should not be served to humans. I don't think I've ever tasted something so disgusting and pathetic but if you are looking for a good laugh, and want to have a great story to tell people, then come here and take some photos of your food, and share it with the world on social media! Plus, just because you're a priority pass member and not that I wanted more food, but the portion size was that of the amount appropriate for a five year old..... On top of all the servers are lowlife losers that have zero concept of customer service and don't give a rats ass about doing anything to make your experience pleasant. This place needs to be shut down because it's an embarrassment for the city of Dallas. I feel bad for the restaurant owner, especially if the restaurant is associated with the Hall of Famer Drew Pearson. What a shame because this could've been a cool place based on the moniker of a former NFL player.
google avatar

Mel C.

Yelp
Consistent with others' reviews, the customer service and friendly atmosphere make this a nice stop for a meal or drink before you board your plane. I especially appreciated finding an outlet under the bar to plug in my laptop, or phone, and get some work in too. I ordered the delicious biscuit sandwich with Turkey sausage, eggs and cheese. My coffee was kept constantly warm and the relaxed music of artists like UB-40, Bob Marley and Ed Sheeran made for a nice calm atmosphere before sitting on my plane ride home. Pricing was not too bad ere either for an airport bar. I feel like I got a good deal for the temporary work station and addition of nice conversation and low key tunes in the early morning hours. I'll be sure to remember this spot next time I'm at DFW airport.
google avatar

Kelvin S.

Yelp
I did visit there again this morning and sit at the outside table. I thought it might be better now but looked like not. Still no waiter coming for 10 minutes and plates on outside tables had no one to clean up (sure for tips). I gave up because I didn't have time to wait for both the order and the meal.
google avatar

Greg U.

Yelp
Our flight was delayed so we stopped in to your place to you get something to eat. Joel what is our server he was absolutely amazing !Attention to detail! Made sure we were taking care of from the time that we were waiting seem like minutes instead of hours ! What a great employee you have and what a great staff in the kitchen!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
We picked up food at the to go area. I thought the offerings were pretty good. All the food we purchased was good. We had a very limited amount of time. There was only one person working. There were several customers. I would definitely go back. I honestly wish that I had more than a fifteen minute layover at the DFW airport.
google avatar

Harry O.

Yelp
I ordered a Manhattan here, from my observation, the most expensive drink at the bar. All beer, call drinks and wine served in "glass", I was servered in a plastic martini vessel. The most most expensive drink, no cherry in plastic. No bueno..
google avatar

Jim G.

Yelp
This place is "ok" as a sports bar, but the food is three times the price it should be for the value delivered. The brisket BBQ sandwich had about 2 oz of meat on it. For an $18 sandwich. I wondered if they were running out of brisket. Service was good and friendly but an NFL player would starve to death here.

Kurt H.

Yelp
Quite likely the sorriest excuse for food I have ever experienced. The BBQ does not qualify as anything close to food. The baked beans are literally pork and beans out of a can. Portions were tiny, which was a blessing in the long run. Not worth any price. The staff was great, but that was truly the only saving grace. I'll bet they don't eat there either.
google avatar

Brittanie H.

Yelp
I flew out of DFW airport early afternoon Tuesday, July 27th. I was delayed, and happy to find a nice, clean bar near my gate. I ordered the nachos, the blanco queso was SO good! Brandi took great care of me, she recommended the end zone margarita and it did not disappoint either! I will definitely be back two weeks from now. Great, friendly atmosphere. 10/10
google avatar

Vasanth B.

Yelp
The essence of a good airport food experience is low expectations, but much better than expected experience! Today this place delivered that. I had a flight out of the E5 gate right next to this *tiny* sports bar and already ordered before I noticed it had no Yelp reviews. Despite this warning sign, "The Original" Frito Pie in the bag I ordered with a local Texas Red pint came out just fine. The bar seating spaces are very crowded but they can give you food to-go. The Frito Pie comes in a cut open Frito bag served in a plate or to-go tray. Yes, it's hard to screw up a Frito Pie but you never can be sure at the airport. Luckily this place did it right with cheese sauce, some beef chili, jalapeños and pico de gallo. You have to watch the salt with Frito Pies since the corn chips are so salty already but this tasted delicious. It pairs well with a hoppy beer for a pretty quick lunch. The service is speedy and friendly.

Jeff B.

Yelp
As a frequent business traveler, it is difficult to find a good place to eat, chill, work and get a decent airport meal and a beer, with GREAT service. Kaylynn (hope I am spelling that right!) ALWAYS meets these expectations. As an NFL fan, this place drew me in and the food is pretty good standard barfare but quick and good. But it is the service that make this busy place shine. Keep doing this part right and we will always be back. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, KAYLYNN! Always packed and busy and never too busy to help and take the time to chat and be friendly!

Jesse K.

Yelp
Deon deserves a raise !!! He as the best - gave us recommendations, was prompt, very kind, and hilarious! Would recommend this place as the chicken tenders and tacos are great! Thanks again DEON!!!!

Guadalupe S.

Yelp
So I stopped at the Dallas FW Airport location based on the Priority Pass subscription. I tried checking in and the bartender rudely said to find a chair. He saw that I was with a child so when I found a seat at the bar rudely again he said "no kids allowed at the bar". I asked him if I could sit anywhere else and again for the third time, rudely he said " if you can find a chair". That was the last draw for me so I left. This guy is giving the legend Mr. Pearson and bad name. If he is having a bad day or his assistance didn't come to help him, don't take it out on the customers. This guy has no business being a bartender where his business is customer service. I should've known this guy was going to be bad news when I walked in and I saw him throw a napkin to a customer that was just sitting down. If anyone is interested in knowing who the bartender is, I didn't get a name but this happened on 06/17/2023 at 4:10pm. Not trying this place ever again.
google avatar

Cortney J.

Yelp
Enjoyed our quick stop for food and a drink before boarding our flight. We enjoyed the atmosphere Patrick and Mikey created for their customers! I even got a signed picture from Drew Pearson! I was impressed with their ability to handle difficult customers without letting it affect their vibe. And really loved their plastic cups that felt so classy without being breakable! Thanks Guys! Cheers!

Sheridan W.

Yelp
Horribly slow. Almost missed my flight before they even took my order after being the only person in line for 10 minutes. I ended up buying something on display so I didn't have to keep waiting.
google avatar

Micah B.

Yelp
Awesome bar. Great service from Patrick. Relaxing atmosphere and good place to kill time between flights
google avatar

Colter H.

Yelp
Date of Visit: 4/11/19 I almost feel bad bringing the rating of this place down, but the food was legitimately inedible. I got the platter with brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw and mac & cheese. The pulled pork was switched for chicken (which looked really iffy), the brisket looked like it had been sitting out in the sun for days - grey and shiny, and the accompanying sauce was without question something bottled. Coleslaw and mac weren't as poor, but darn close. Sadly I ate a few bites of the sides, left the rest alone, and walked to another part of the airport for something less risky. Giving one star as the bartender was friendly and working her tail off to cover everyone, but even for airport food - this was baaaaad.
google avatar

Ken G.

Yelp
Ordered the nacho's and boy I have had better at 711 with that Nacho cheese sauce they pour on for 2.00 bucks not 12 bucks and I couldn't eat them all, wings looked like they we reheated. Staff was great but honestly for the money they charging I expected much better. The kitchen staff needs to re think what they are producing. As a bar pricey the food I would avoid unless you like to overpay, for Gas station take out
google avatar

Merrit R.

Yelp
I had a fabulous experience here! My intentions were to have brunch and a mimosa (it was about 10:30am). However, once I sat down I learned they had just made the lunch menu switch at 10am. While initially disappointed, this actually turned out to be a great thing! I ordered a mimosa for my appetizer (Jesus made it just the way I like it!). And then I got the brisket sandwich with an IPA (I feel like I need to say that I come from Missouri-BBQ-country and my husband makes amazing slow cooked meats). With that being said, the brisket sandwich was surprisingly good! I added the coleslaw to my sandwich - the only way to go - and bbq sauce drizzled on each bite. The Texas toast was new to me but awesome! And I loved the twisted fries. It was a great way to end my Texas trip. I would stop here again if at the Dallas airport. Now it's back to Washington state where they put fruit in the coleslaw... yuck. Two notes about other reviews... there is a large dining area with tables and chairs behind the bar (I had also initially thought there was only bar dining when I walked in) and this is a Texas Sports Bar in an airport I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised you can't get gluten free Texas toast and that it's slightly expensive.
google avatar

aaron b.

Yelp
Basically no gluten free options, but I appreciate that the manager was able to speak very crisply about it, and wasn't confused by my question. Edit: my gin and tonic was $13. Are you kidding me?!
