"Marquette got its start as a working harbor, and the stunning ore dock and related historic buildings still (rightly) dominate the city’s shoreline. As a result, most of the Queen City’s exciting restaurant scene is happening up the hill on Front, Washington, and Third streets. To dine on the water, head slightly south of town to Drífa Brewing, a cooperative brewery that brings in Marquette’s best food trucks on a regular schedule. On Thursdays, eat Manny Mag’s al pastor tacos and tamales, flavors that pair well with Drifa’s Green Ladder American IPA. The cooperative’s beer garden is some 100 yards from Lake Superior, where visitors can watch freighters and sailboats cruise by." - Stacey Brugeman

I wanted to make more memories to compensate my really short stay in Marquette, so I got my second round here. Probably I was the last customer that night. Fair price and wonderful taste for the Hazy IPA, cozy atmosphere and everything. I feel that this 20 min or so let me to be somehow nostalgic and emotional to look back on my days in Michigan, past and present. I’ll definitely cherish this experience.

Great spot with beautiful views, nice outdoor area. It was very hot and sunny so we sat up against the building as that was the only shade but as a bonus, they had water bowls for the dog!

Great location, nice setup, fair amount or room inside, larger area outdoors. The beer was excellent! Service was good. There is a good truck called Lakeshore grill in the parking lot that seems kinda permanent. Overall it's a must stop. 5 stars for the overall quality of the beer.

Solid little micro brewery...good outside area, views of lake Superior, and the power lines 🙂

First smoked beer I've ever had! Wonderful taste and finish! All the beers through the group of people we had they all liked! Small down side is no formal food, they do have snacks and chips etc for purchase, but are pretty cool about bringing in food from other places! Very good beer and a neat atmosphere!

First off, the beer is good. That’s the most important part. That being said, the patio area is relaxed and comfortable with plenty of pups to pet and just a bit off the lake side walking path make it a great place to have a beer and relax after a walk or bike ride. Inside is cozy in a good way and the live band was great when I was there. Staff was helpful and courteous. Basically everything I’m looking for in a brewery. Keep up the great work!

Bartender and patrons were very nice and accommodating to tourists. Very good outdoor area with lake view. I would highly recommend stopping by on your bike or vehicle travels.

Great beer, nice staff, outdoor seating, right on the bike path, lousy view of the power station! No food but they allowed us to bring our own food in. For boondockers, we spent the night across the street parked near some construction trucks and it was so quiet and no one bothered us.
