The 10 Best Sports Bars In Houston - Houston - The Infatuation

"For mid-day games it’s hard to beat Drift Bar in Shady Acres. When the weather’s nice, Drift rolls up the giant garage doors and the entire bar becomes an open-air party deck. Plus the number of TVs and massive screens could blind you. A lot of the cocktails are just various alcohols dumped directly into a Topo Chico bottle, which makes it easier to mosey around the bar or rustle up a game of cornhole." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene

Can't go wrong here at all, absolutely No Karen's killing the vibe or complaining about dogs running off leash! Such a great chill spot to stop, eat and stretch for a bit while driving through. Being Kid and Dog friendly with outdoor seating by the river, you cannot beat it. The family tried almost everything on the menu it seemed and our youngest said its our new tradition to hang here for a bit while heading to Montrose. So it shall be ;) Enjoy

We often speak of hidden gems when we rate places we travel. However, this place is special. The food is a 5 out of 5. The barbacoa loaded fries was the best I've had. The atmosphere is beyond beautiful. However what really makes this place extraordinary is the people. Savanna is the northern star of people you meet on your journeys. A person you make a lifelong friend of. Her personality is infectious and her smile and authenticity is beyond compare.

One of the coolest places to stop and eat whether you're rafting or driving through the area. The food is delicious and fresh and the atmosphere cannot be beat. The property goes right up to the water so you can relax, eat, and hang out with others who are staying in the area. Location is family and pet friendly.

I have lost track of how many times I’ve been to this beautiful place. It never fails to impress. Live music, great food, great service all on the banks of the Arkansas river. If you haven’t been, please make a point to come to the Drift In. you won’t be disappointed

We were passing through and it was a great break to get out of the car and get some fresh air. The river running by the tables was beautiful. The only restrooms being port-a-pots was not great, but it's understandable and they were at least clean.

Went to watch Bruce Hayes play while sitting on the banks of the Arkansas. Food available but we didn't eat. Great spot for outdoor enjoyment.

Food was solid, but the atmosphere is amazing. Eating by the Arkansas River, with birds chirping and humming birds buzzing around. The sound of the river and the mountain view. It's an experience.
