Stopped in on a impromptu girls night! It's a cute spot with a really attentive staff. They were playing a low key mix of music that included old school r&b. The staff is the reason I would have given 4 stars. They were friendly, asked us for feedback on the food, always refilling drinks and even gave us recommendations on where to party for the night! The drinks were tasty. The food was ok but not great. I had cute bottle of Cuvée champagne and my friends both enjoyed their "Bourbon Belle Old Fashioned". They made jokes about how strong they were but in no way complained. I ordered the cutely named "Tots and Tentacles" which is calamari and haddock tots served with fries. The fries were at the bottom of the basket and were quite soggy and bland. The dipping sauce with horseradish was a nice surprise. My friend was not to keen on her "Maine Lobster Roll" Again she thought the seasoning could have been hyped up a bit.

Awesome little hole in the wall with unique, delicious food and beverage choices! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about both their food and craft beer selection as well as the locals goings-on.

Nice bar with bar style food. Crab sliders probably the best dish. Really inattentive service.

We here for lunch today. Great service from who I assume was the manager. They had me at the dance hall music!! Great atmosphere and their restaurant week menu was good (unlike some restaurants that only seems to serve their basic stuff). Had the crab cakes, fish tacos and lime pie ($22). All very tasty.

We went for my birthday and I loved this small seafood place. At least as my experience so far goes, best quality/price seafood place in Washington. Very good quality and perfectly cooked, with excellent service. Totally recommended and we will be going back soon!

This is one of those rare gems that you stumble upon for brunch and realize how amazing of an institution it truly is. Sarah G, our waitress was absolutely the best. Personable, friendly, attentive, generous, and perfect with your order. Serious kudos to everyone, but Sarah stood out. The food is a HUGE surprise. I was expecting good, but wow, this is in a whole different realm. The catfish and waffles is what I ate, and frankly it was so good I had to actually have a crisis over whether to share any. My S.O. had the salmon benedict, and finished it before I could even look up. The drinks are delicious and super plentiful. The biggest sell is the bottomless mimosas and bloodys that offer a never-empty glass. Future reference for anyone reading this, Live Jazz on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 - 9pm with $5 rail happy hours. This is rare around Shaw ever since the shutdown of the Caverns over on U street. Closing, if you're on the fence, make the leap. This wonderful establishment will not disappoint, and will likely leave you with a smile, a full belly, and a nap in your future (on brunch days, that is).

The Maryland crab cake was delicious, delicately seasoned and perfectly prepared. Fries were fresh and a tasty addition. However, the coleslaw was the pleasant surprise of the evening....cilantro made the slaw pop....great addition! This place is a great find!

You must try the food. Each bite is an orgasm of flavor in your mouth. I tried their salmon cake and their fish and chips while chatting with the General Manager Gemma. I could not resist a second course to try more of the menu it was that good. She is great and provides perfect recommendations of drinks with food pairing. I stopped in for lunch which is a slower time for them and I highly recommend to get some one on one discussions about their sustainability. They know the origin of their foods and being the former Fishnet location and rebranding kept the orientation to sustainable food and high quality goods. Any foodie will be very happy with stopping in here for a meal.
