Wonderful food and amazing customer service. We arrived late at night and sat outside its maintained as a warm clean atmosphere and is very enjoyable and pleasant. Would recommend if you are in the area!!

The service was top-notch and the food served hot and savory. I got the Sautéed Prawns with seasonal vegetables. The vegetables were sooooo good. I have never had steamed vegetables that tasted like theirs. I would recommend changing the sauce for the prawns, but it was still excellent taste. My wife got the ribeye steak with a baked potato, which was cooked excellently. To top it off we had a cup of clam chowder and fried calamari. The flavor from all of the dishes is some of the best I’ve had. I would recommend any day of the week for those looking for a great date night.

We had lunch outside and really enjoyed the heated deck and the pumpkin carving contest! I appreciate that they have more than one vegetarian option on the menu. The Mediterranean pita was very good. My seafood eating partner said the steamed clams and clam chowder were great too.

My husband and I had dinner here one evening this past weekend. They had a nice variety of seafood as well as steak and other things to choose from. Service was good, food portions big and it was a nice evening out for dinner. Pictured is the tasty Dungeness crab salad that I had for dinner.

It was so delicious, they sat us in less than 15mins and we sat outside. The food came out quickly and I had the clam chowder it was so fresh and cooked perfectly.

This was one of my favorite meals from our vacation to the Pacific Northwest. We were in Cannon Beach for a couple days in August and came here for dinner on a Monday night. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by the bartender. He provided menus and gave a few minutes to decide on drinks and meals. We shared the Dungeness crab cocktail appetizer and each ordered meals. I had the lemon caper baked salmon and it was very good. The menu says it comes on a bed of onions and I wasn’t sure how that was going to be but it was very small chopped onion and with the dill sauce on top of that it was delicious. I opted for the side of vegetables and it was a generous portion and they were perfectly cooked. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was casual and easygoing. The lighting was a bit dim but I felt that made it a little more rustic cabin feeling instead of dark dungeon. The place was somewhat full that evening but it wasn’t loud. Prices were comparable to similar seafood restaurants we have been to. We walked from our hotel but I think there is a parking lot if I remember correctly. This was a very good dinner.

Great service. We were seated quickly and our food came out quick. The food was good, 4 star for food as it was good but nothing exceptional.

Service was excellent. The clam chowder was 6/10, fish and chips was 8/10 and overall experience was 7/10.

Wish I could do 3-1/2 stars. But for the service and ambience alone I'll up it to 4. We had a warm greeting when we arrived and were seated quickly. There was a cozy fire outside that almost convinced us to sit outdoors, but since it was cold and drizzly we decided to sit inside instead. The restaurant itself felt warm and inviting. We were seated at a window table, and the interior décor was nicely done with a cozy atmosphere that made it a pleasant place to relax and eat. Our waiter was excellent. He was very helpful when we asked about local activities for the grandsons and stayed on top of drink refills and checking in on our table. Food & Drinks My daughter ordered the clam chowder in a bread bowl. She was a bit disappointed with the sourdough bread bowl, which had a strong sour taste that seemed a little off to her. She normally loves sourdough, but this one just didn't quite hit the mark. The chowder itself was decent though. I ordered the tomato soup and a salad. The tomato soup also had a strong flavor. I ended up adding a little cream from what they brought with my coffee, which helped mellow it out, but overall it wasn't the best soup I've had. Grandson #1 had a corn dog and fries and said it was good. Grandson #2 ordered a grilled cheese. Unfortunately, the bottom of it had soaked up pickle juice from the plate, so he only ended up eating about half. Would I Return? Yes, I would return, but I would probably try something different on the menu next time. And if the weather cooperates, that inviting fire outside looks like a great place to sit and enjoy the evening.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Driftwood Restaurant & Lounge in beautiful Cannon Beach. The atmosphere perfectly reflects the coastal setting -- warm, relaxed, and welcoming while still feeling refined. We ordered the rib eye and the halibut, and both were exceptional. The rib eye was incredibly flavorful and cooked exactly to temperature -- tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The halibut was just as impressive: fresh, flaky, and cooked beautifully with balanced flavors that really let the quality of the fish shine. Our server, Steve, was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. Service was impressively fast without ever feeling rushed, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, this restaurant truly delivers on both food and hospitality. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cannon Beach and looking for a memorable meal.

I came here with my boyfriend while in town. We ordered the crab cocktail to share. I got a class of red wine an he opted for a cider. We ordered the shrimp Louie salad. I made modifications to mine to ensure it was dairy and gluten free. Our waitress was super helpful in ensuring the kitchen could accommodate. Overall a decent meal

Delicious clam chowder, plentiful crab and unctuous bread on the sandos. Tasty cocktail sauce, too. The flavors and service at driftwood are top notch. We loved sitting outside under the heater in February and taking in the coastal breeze. The buoys hanging in the trees and fire pit are just the right amount of costal swag to enjoy a comfortable meal! Seriously tho the clam chowder is excellent. My mans bff spilled some stuff but we good. I look forward to coming back around soon :)

Sunday in January got right in to nice sunny booth at 11:30 Great lunch. Our 3 time here.

Wr had dinner at Driftwood Restaurant & Lounge out last night in Canon Beach. We liked that they were open late. We out out names down and went on a walk to the beach until our table was ready. We started with drinks, got the Beach bum, and Mango Ginger Spritz. We liked both our drinks. We then got the Dungeness Crab Roll, and Pasta Primavera with Chicken. With the Dungeness crab roll, I updated the side to a bowl of clam chowder. The clam chowder was good. The Dungeness crab roll was great. The Pasta Primavera had no sauce, it was like eating dry pasta with veggies. Would definitely not recommend it.

We went here on New Year's Day without reservations, however, our wait was less than anticipated, which was nice. The service was great. I ordered the steak and lobster and my husband ordered the fried oysters and a cup of chowder. I tasted his chowder and it was pretty good. My overall take on this place is that it's very basic. My meal was fine, but nothing special. It's in the heart of downtown Cannon Beach with a nice outdoor seating with a fire pit that draws you in. However, after that, it's just your typical touristy restaurant that doesn't have to be special. It satisfies the masses, but my husband and I like be wowed and this just isn't the place.

Another great meal at Driftwood yesterday. The weather was gorgeous, and on a whim we drove from Portland to Lincoln City via Cannon Beach. Nick was our server again, and the weather was simply perfect on the patio. My wife had the Mediterranean Sandwich again, and I had the Po'boy, but subbed prawns. Perfect. And the accompanying fries for both of us were crispy and hot. I also had the Pilsner on tap and it was so refreshing. Driftwood is definitely our go to restaurant for lunch. We will be back.

What a super fun night!!!! We had a blast and we completely recommend this place. The service was absolutely fantastic. Laurita is an absolutely incredible waitress. She had a stitches, laughing and she had impeccable timing checking on us. You can tell she really cares about her job and wants her customers to be happy. She made our first night in Cannon Beach so memorable. Rosie... who helps out with the tables... was absolutely adorable as well. She was so attentive her happiness was infectious. The wine was absolutely delicious... We bought a bottle of the Pinot Noir! We loved every drop of it. We really appreciated the late hours and the outdoor ambience was so lovely. I really took in the fact that all the customers on the patio were so polite and even somewhat quiet. Nobody was loud or rambunctious. I would come back here again... My husband's steak was melt in your mouth delicious and was cooked to perfection. Absolutely fabulous! My burger was- waaaa waaaa sad. I think the chef might've talked through cooking it... I asked for on the rare side, and it came out well done, it wasn't juicy or big. I think it might've been a frozen patty. Not sure. The menu looks absolutely delicious. Just come here and get something other than the burger. The oyster shooter was yum too! Thank you DRIFTWOOD!

On our last day in cannon beach we stopped by to have dinner at the driftwood. we started off with onion rings, that looked like where beer battered, Delicious! We also tried the chowder, was a little watery but the flavor was good! I ended up getting the cod fish and chips, which were amazing! My boyfriend had the ribeye, with garlic bread and fries, the steak was cooked to perfection! The fries were okay, nothing too special. Our server was friendly and fast, their prices are reasonable. The restaurant had a cute blast from the past with old bottles of liquor in a see through glass wall, this restaurant also has outdoor setting.

The service was great and our waiter was very nice. We enjoyed our food greatly and recommend the oyster shooters. It's a small little restaurant but has cute decorations inside. They were accommodating for accesible seating and there is a ramp located outside of restaurant.

Amazing servers, excellent for the pups... outside firepit is good for meeting others while enjoying your dinner. Highly recommended!

Very 'upscale' restaurant in Cannon Beach. This place gets packed for dinner and would suggest making reservations, even during the week. I happened to call and ask if we needed one and she said they were booked for the evening, but had a cancellation for a spot that started in 30 min, so we got right down there. Very worth it. Drinks were strong and the server was friendly and attentive. Husband had steak, and I had the crab salad. Not sure if the crab salad was worth the $$ price, but it was very good. Steak was great too. Mentioned to my sister and they go there as well when visiting.

This is always one of my favorite spots to hang outside and have a beer + lunch in Cannon Beach. Kinda doesn't really matter what the weather is, sitting there at the outdoor fire pit on the main drag of Cannon Beach with the beach air rolling in is always a great experience. We look forward to coming to this place every time we're in Cannon Beach. The deck is so nice & dog friendly, the service is excellent & the food is always great as well. This time we got a Chardonnay, beer & Bloody Mary while we decided on our meal order. We started with oyster shooters & crab cocktail- so fresh & delicious! We decided on the ribs- amazing- fall off the bone & very flavorful. The turkey sandwich with clam chowder- so yummy- lots of turkey & the clam chowder is so good. The turkey club- also delicious with lots of turkey & bacon & the fries were hot & crispy. We look forward to coming back soon!

Portions are huge! Salmon was so good! love the atmosphere, sat outside bec of our puppy! Very dog friendly!!! We loved the salmon bec it wasn't dry the hummus plate was okay but the chicken wings were so delicious! Service was good too! They kept on giving Archie some treats which was nice!

I like the cozy rustic atmosphere. My husband said his salmon was delicious. But my steak salad left me disappointed. It was mostly iceberg lettuce soaking in steak sauce.

We really liked the clam chowder and especially the Caesar salad. They were very busy but our wait wasn't bad at all. Our server was delightful. The prices are reasonable. They have several tables outside. There are parking lots nearby but parking in Canon Beach is always a nightmare. We'll return.

Right on the main drag of Cannon Beach, Driftwood has an amazing covered patio for those with doggos. We were actually cruising up and down the street seeing if any place had a covered patio (it was raining and didn't want to leave our pup in the car). So it was great to see their lovely patio with heat lamps and a gas fireplace going. We were seated right away and got the fish and chips. Service was amazing amazing! They checked in on us multiple times, gave us plenty of sauce, and filled our drinks regularly. Our pup was happy, we were happy, and I was so delighted with the food and service that I filled out a comment card for them then and there. This will be our go to place in Cannon Beach for sure!

This place is phenomenal. My husband and I went here a couple of times while we were staying at Canon Beach recently, and their service was incredible. The ambiance was really nice, and the food was awesome. We're gonna be visiting again in July of this upcoming year and I can't wait to come back here! Keep up the great work Driftwood staff!

We come here every time we visit Cannon Beach. The clam chowder bowl is the best I've had. Their oysters and fish are always fresh. The service is great!

I'm surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating. I got the clam chowder, which was absolutely amazing! Probably the best clam chowder I've had since I moved from New England back in the 90s! I also got the halibut which was really good as well. My boyfriend got the filet mignon and he said it was absolutely delicious. Our server Kelly was great! I definitely would recommend this place. We were here on a trip from Colorado and if I ever come back to this area, this is a restaurant I would most definitely get back to. But a little more about that clam chowder, not only was it full of clams, but it was creamy and just so tasty! It wasn't full of potatoes like some chowders I've had. Super delicious! Fair warning all their food was extremely hot! Which is really a great thing because it was all fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp.

I am flabbergasted at the unusual low rating for this restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the salmon with dill and capers with a loaded baked potato. They were absolutely delicious. She had pasta Primavera with chicken and thought that was fantastic. Even the buttered bread was delicious.

Good, simple local restaurant. No frills, but they make a good clam chowder and also fish and chips. They also have a nice outdoor area as well. Comforting to find a place like this in a beach town.

Hostess was spectacular Waiter (red headed gentlemen) magnificent Baby back ribs... absolutely disgusting. I am a clear your plate boy or get your butt whooped and I couldn't even stomach a quarter of them. I think the bbq sauce may have been Heinz. Bad sauce plus bad pork equals disaster. Wife's fettuccine was not bad from what she ate but they piled on green onions for some reason. The bread was actually delightful and tasted pretty fresh. Onion rings weren't terrible. They came on a bed of romaine lettuce. Had a couple that were chewy but for the most part it was okay. Food was very disappointing the staff were beyond amazing. We had high hopes but left unsatisfied.

My first 1/5 on yelp. This place was super touristy and the food didn't taste good. The best thing was the fish and chips and those were subpar. Clam chowder had no real flavor and the sourdough had no crunch. Oyster PoBoy was actually bad, like I had a bite and couldn't even take another. Onion rings had no seasoning. And the ribs were so dry. I would never come back and never recommend someone to come here.

Onion rings 9/10 - we even ate some the next day and still so good. Big rings and a nice thick batter Wings 10/10 big juicy chicken crispy outside. Came with hot mustard and ketchup Crab casserole 10/10 rich cheesey sauce with a great amount of crab, came with a side of rice Fish and chips: 8/10 very fresh and crispy Chicken Alfredo: 7/10, nice noodles and perfect grilled chicken breast not much flavor in the sauce garnish of onions and green onions. Clam chowder was super good with real diced potatoes. Did not have bacon in it which was great as we cannot eat pork. Would get a bowl next time. Cherry limeade drink didn't seem to have any liquor. The server was very kind & brought my son some fancy lemonade.

Great service. Great atmosphere and great food! Just finished The best clam chowder, oyster shooters, wonderful wedge salad and shrimp cocktail. All was excellent. Fair prices. Wedge salad was not short on real blue cheese dressing. The best clam chowder on the coast.

We stopped by on the way back from Cannon Beach. The ambiance inside is nice and clean, and service was great. I got the hummus platter, loved the veggies and presentation The onion rings were huge, and everything came out fast. Besides what I got though there wasn't much vegetarian options. The onion rings could've been better, and even though we got a good amount of food, I felt that it was overpriced. On top of that they added a 5% "food tax" on the bill before tip, which is weird since we don't have sales tax on food in Oregon. But it is a long drive back and they're open late night so not a bad option if you need a bite after the beach

Our first time visiting Cannon Beach and decided on this restaurant for dinner. We started off with calamari- DELICIOUS! It was tasty and nicely battered. It wasn't super thick and crunchy, very fresh and light. Mom had the Fish and Chips - Yumm!! The fish was buttery and crisp ~ very tasty! I had the Wedge Salad ~ lettuce was crisp, and the flavor combination of the bacon, blue cheese and tomato was perfect. Daughter had the fettuccine Alfredo with prawns. So good!! Other daughter had a cheese burger and didn't leave a crumb. Would love to come back when my daughters are 21 so we can enjoy a nice meal on the patio! Such a great location and overall experience. Service was quick and staff were friendly and attentive.

This was our favorite seafood place in cannon beach. The Dungeness crab was so good. The clam chowder was my favorite in the area. I ordered the salmon with a Pinot Grigio and all that was incredible as well. Loved this so much. Our server Chris was amazing too! Just all around the best .

We came for lunch and the line moved quickly. We both ordered the Salmon and Clam Chowder. The food was on time and warm. Our Server was fantastic and he came by several times to make sure we were satisfied with our food and asked if we needed anything else. We sat outside and could not ask for a better place to sit and eat our food and watch everyone pass by on the street Glad we came Here and if we make it back Up here we will Definitely stop here again.

Our group stopped by after a hike for some much needed refueling. I ordered the burger with gf bun, my husband ordered the French dip and our other friend ordered the fish and chips. My burger was ok, good but nothing spectacular but the gf bun was soggy. Our friend's fish and chips were good but my husband's French dip was horrible. The meat tasted dry and like it was previously frozen. Not a memorable meal so I wouldn't recommend especially when they charge you for every little thing.

Wow!! D-LISH! What a great find! My husband and I had the house made chowder (amazing) - bread bowl was toasted~ thank you!! Then we had the steak salad and the fish and chips with house made blue cheese dressing as well as the house made tartar sauce were absolute perfection. Our server Susan and buser, Santiago were both wonderfully friendly and the coziness of the restaurant made for a perfect night out!

Great food and ambiance! Perhaps it was the rare lovely January day with no rain. We had a lovely lunch with our dog on the patio. The staff was very attentive finding a great seat near the plexiglass windbreak for a good puppy view & bringing water for her right away. The brewpub across the street was closed for maintenance and yet the beers here were Oregon local and satisfying. We also found the burgers here superior to our last few visits at the other place. Folks at a nearby table were sharing fish & chips and were raving about it. We will try a couple more times, but it may become a new favorite place.

One of the most well seen establishments in CB ~ fun fire pit patio off the main street, people watch in the shine or drizzle. Lots of dogs lounging on the ground so careful where you step. Inside dark and loud. Menu is standard American grill and touristy pricey. Service is friendly and constantly hustling through the peak hours.

We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside because it felt warm but when the sun went down, it was actually freezing. They don't have heaters for the tables so it became uncomfortable until we went and grabbed heavy coats from the car. They do have a fire pit area that couples can sit around. On to the food. It was just ok. I wasn't real impressed. I ordered a french dip. Everything but the meat on the bread is extra. Onions? Extra. Cheese? Extra. Mushrooms? Extra. 5.00 total extra for those three ingredients. I hate being nickle and dimed. I ordered the sandwich as is and it was very dry with minimal roast beef. I had to ask for some horse radish to give it some flavor. I paid 17.25 for the sandwich and honestly I think Subway could have done it as well. We had to ask for refills on our drinks and I don't know if our server went on break or was handling tables inside of the restaurant but we didn't see her for quite a while after she delivered our order. There are a lot of options in Cannon Beach to eat. I don't think we would return here again.

We had burgers, they were flavorless and mushy. Service was good and attentive. We sat in the bar, it is cozy.

Well as I sit here in my dodgy hotel. Dreaming of driving greens, and fishin for steelhead this weekend. I found myself discussing with my Missy about wanting something that I could pick at whilst watching the Internet Invitational. Driftwood, I was countin on you. I had faith you would deliver. But hey, what's the deal with the half shrimp in the wontons (spoken like Jerry Seinfeld). And I don't want to even post the literal tablespoon of meat you add to your chowmein. The worst part is it's delicious. Put QF to shame. But the astonishly disappointing value here is so bewildering. I know it's not quality meat here. I'm sure it was found behind the no frills. Give me substance! Listen, we all know we're just renting Chinese food, queue IBS, so give us the meat! I know I'm not the only one here, and these scary PA heathens have been pumpin your obviously dilapidated tires for too long. It's time you get an honest review from someone who doesn't live in the weather butthole of the island. Kiddin guys, I love it here *he says reluctantly so no crackers come to my door* Any how. I digress. Sort that out, we the consumer deserve better. 1/2 thumb up. Nahh here's a picture

Was walking around town so we sat on the porch had a drink and some appetizers, service was fast and friendly... the the Dungeness crab and fried oysters were excellent.

The BEST! We have been visiting this restaurant multiple times each year for decades. It has always been consistent. Great food and excellent service every time. It is always busy because it is that good. Our whole family loves this place and it is our go-to dinner restaurant in Cannon Beach. One of our very favorite restaurants anywhere. We very highly recommend it. Everything is great.

My husband and I had dinner at the Driftwood two nights ago. I'm so glad we were not deterred by the negative reviews! We sat at the bar while waiting for a table, and ultimately decided to order food at the bar too. Parker, the bartender, made great drinks and took good care of us for dinner. The rib eye dinner and Driftwood halibut were top notch. The ambience was cozy and warm, and we loved the jack-o-lanterns on the patio!

Great place to eat! Very welcoming, employees were all pleasant and smiling, and quick service. Clean restaurant. We're seated right away and food arrived quickly. We all had the fish n chips. They were delicious! Nice big pieces of fish with not much batter. We had a great experience there and will definitely eat there again when visiting Cannon Beach!!!

Service was good, but the food was so so. Got the clam chowder soup and it was meh. It was very thick and not well seasoned. The chicken Cesar salad was good, but nothing special. It was nice being able to sit outside since the sun out and shining.

An amazing experience, great quality food with a very fair price. Our waiter knew everything off the menu and was obviously experienced. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and you can sit both inside and outside.
