Dru Bru - Snoqualmie Pass

One of my favorite places to have a beer in Washington. Dru Bru makes solid beer especially the more traditional styles and sours. The on site food truck is good, and the service for both is good. The thing that makes it stand out is the proximity to all the outdoor activities in the area and the views from the patio. If you find yourself needing a beer at the pass after a hike or some skiing definitely stop in.

After a long, hot hike in the Snoqualmie area, this was the absolute perfect place to land. We stopped in on a sunny afternoon and the whole place had a fantastic, lively atmosphere. There was a great live band playing on the patio which really added to the summer vibe. I had their Hazy IPA and it was exactly what you want after a few hours on the trail – super refreshing and flavorful. There's plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sun, and it was just a great mix of people (and dogs!). This is a top-tier spot for a post-hike beer. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the Pacific Northwest.

The beer here is always refreshing—especially the Hazy IPA, which is full of flavor. The patio offers a great view of the Snoqualmie Mountains, making it a relaxing spot to unwind. There's a decent amount of parking—not a ton, but usually enough. Just be cautious during winter as snow can make things tricky. This has become our go-to place for beer in the area! They will have food truck when they were expecting good crowd.

Great beers, good ambiance at the pass whether during winter or summer. Their in house food truck specializing in various hot dogs is on the patio. Two large tvs in house and a projector screen for the big events in television.

An absolute banger. Came here with a friend after hiking Little Si because he said they had really good hot dogs (turns out that was the phenomenal food truck outside). The beer though was spot on. A great selection ranging from your standard IPAs and light beer to dark German beer and Vienna lagers. The Bru Ski Patrol was a personal favorite. Honestly, the biggest winner might be their home-made root beer, if I hadn't been flying out the next day I would've been leaving with a 6-pack of that. Also low-key maybe some of the prettiest views from any brewery I've ever been to.

Best place ever! I'm a trucker and they took care of me. Came in after closing and i so feel bad now I didn't get their names but the ladies are great. Got me a pretzel and cheese and root beer. They also threw in their cowboy ceviche. Really good! Will definitely come back when I'm passing by. Hopefully when their open.

So fun with many delicious options for good brews. I had a flight of six and loved all of them. My favs were the kolsh and the amber lager. The hot dogs and fries from the food truck were awesome 👌🏼

Stopped by on our way home. Great place to warm up after the slopes. Have snacks and a food truck to grab a bite. Good service she had me try few different beers before I decided on my list. Friendly atmosphere and fire pit outside to sit and enjoy the snow and view.

Simple, good, easy, mountainy. Good spot. Washington needs more of this. Easy to get a beer, easy to enjoy it. Staff was fine.

Great place! I couldn't ride due to some medical restraints and saving money to go to other mountains... so while the family rides, I had some tasty beers and got some work done! Very welcoming environment and food truck looked good!

We tried this brewery after their 5k glow run. They had burgers being made, squatch box as another food venue to grub, and lots of games out to play. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and awesome beer. We tried a huckleberry hazy pale ale beer called Glow the Distance (Rainbow Rodeo) and it was fantastic! It almost reminded me of POG juice mixed with beer! We also got the Hyak haze, an IPA. For food, the cheeseburger they made was pretty good. I really appreciate a fresh soft bun, not old dry bread. So they covered that part, but the burger itself was still pink and not well done. Still good though!

After hike beer? Yes please! Super close brewery after a hike to Lodge Lake. Typical brewery vibes here. So many choices I decided on a flight. The flight card is pre-populated with a few standards they always have on tap. But you can choose any of them you want. Here is my rundown of the flight, based on my personal beer tastes. 1. Kolsch, 10/10 refreshing German style golden ale 5.0%. 2. Hefeweizen 7/10, wheat beer has heavier feel to me, If you like it, this hefeweizen has ABV 5.1% and is delicious if you like wheat beers. 3. Hazy Session India Pale Ale 10/10 ABV 5.1%, delicious IPA, very refreshing. 4. Wild Berry Cider,10/10 tasty and refreshingly fruity with berry flavors of blackberry, huckleberry and raspberry. 5. Margarita Sour 10/10, My favorite! It had the name margarita in it, so, of course I had to try it! ABV 6.9%, Aged in tequila barrels for 6 months makes this wheat beer smooth and oh so delicious. Drop the mic! I loved it so much I bought a four pack to take home. 6. Angel dust 10/10ABV 5.0% Mango Pale Ale. Super delicious light and refreshing with a slight fruity flavor. Perfect after hike beverage. A large parking lot and food available next door. A small on-site food truck was closed. The pretzel was absolutely one of the best soft pretzels I have had in a while. Soft and fluffy, perfectly salted and yummy beer cheese. Lots of shady and sunny spots to sit at here.Also a firepit which is probably lovely at night. And gorgeous mountain views. Great spot to come to if you are in the area. Cheers and SYOP!

What a great spot to go after skiing. It is between west and central at Snoqualmie and although it has a small parking lot, people park on the street as well. They have a decent sized indoor area and some hollowed out shipping containers with heaters outside to enjoy your food and drink in, along with a firepit area. Speaking of food and drink, there is a food truck onsite and you are allowed to purchase food from the restaurant next door and bring it in. They have a few food items themselves, such as pretzels with cheese. The beer and cider selection is great and tastes good. For kids and non-drinkers, there is root beer and hot chocolate. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms are shared with the neighboring restaurant.

Awesome place and they make some darn fine beers. Then there is the views, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better one. A great place to relax after a exhausting hike or when passing over the mountains and stocking up on some of their great beers .

Stopped by to grab some beer to go for our trip to Eastern Wa. Friendly staff, good prices and most importantly great beer. Bought some raddler and kolsch. Both were a hit with my clients.

Wow, this is a really good brewery. This would be a good brewery in a primo Seattle location, where there is lots of competition. However, it's located at Snoqualmie Pass...where they are effectively the only game in town. What I'm getting at is: this place doesn't even need to brew S-tier beer, and yet...they do. If they were making mid-beer, they could still print money non-stop with a location like this. This place has loads of my two favorite styles of beers: lagers and hoppy ales. I sampled a few (unlike so many breweries in Seattle, they are happy to let you sample before committing here) and eventually went with both of their fresh hop IPAs. One made with my favorite hop: Sabro. And one made with my new favorite hop: 1019. Service was super-friendly and super-knowledgeable. The space was so immaculately maintained that we we wondered if this brewery just opened...apparently they have been here for years. Only bummer is that when we got here, a little after 8pm, the food truck was already shut down. As was the restaurant next door.

We flew in to Seattle and were on our way to Yakima. A hike to a falls seemed a great activity. How best to end a hike? A great beer! We headed into Dru Bru and found they had flagships and fresh hops alike. There were three fresh hop on, Centennial, Simcoe and Hazy Mosaic. Had to get those! We rounded out our flight with Kölsch, Amber Lager and Nitro Black Lager. What a treat after a trek through the woods. The location is at the base of ski area at the top of Snoqualmie Pass. I would imagine this place gets really hoppin' in the winter. There were quite a few folks sitting out in the October sun enjoying beer. The staff was pleasant and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. We had no trouble finding parking. If you are cruising across 90, this is worth the stop!

Large selection of craft beer - too bad it's served with a frown. Service is unfriendly for such a touristy spot. Nice outdoor patio with both shady spots and full sun areas. Indoor seating is available as well. The brewery doesn't serve food - however there is a permanent food truck available. See SquatchBox review. Again, service is everything in a tourist town.

Love this brewery! Ambience is on point especially when it snows. They have tons of beer options, even non alcoholic ones. A food truck outdoor with limited hot dog / fries / chicken, they often close early or run out though.

Super cozy place after skiing or tubing. Inside and outside seating with a friendly staff and easy but small parking lot. I tried their hot mead which was pretty good but had a bit of a soapy aftertaste? Still finished it though! They have food trucks outside but I wasnt in the mood to try them. I wish they had some inside options. They had some cool merch for sale as well. I was very tempted to buy one of their skiier prints. Very cool

This place does feel like the ideal location for outdoor drinking. It's a nice way to enjoy the cold weather, hopefully you're wearing your snow clothes, while taking in the fresh mountain air and the beauty of your surroundings. With covid currently only allowing outdoor drinking, this seemed like a great post hike stop off. The large outdoor area is full of fire tables, fire pits and shipping containers with heaters inside. The shipping container was still pretty chilly and I was unable to snag either a fire pit or fire table, but I also was not wearing my snow clothes. The beer was still delicious though, the place was packed and we had to wait a few minutes for a table. I enjoyed a Rye IPA. My partner complained about the price of his small beer, but he always chooses the specialty ones and never asks about the price. The food truck is not yet operational, but the restaurant next door was hopping and it appears they welcome you to bring your own food to dine on in the beer garden. I'm thankful they have indoor bathrooms. I do prefer to drink my beer indoors in warmer conditions, but this will do in a pinch and makes for a great addition to a ski day or a day in the snow.

I've been coming to dru bru off and on now since 2017. It's certainly a great spot for respite when you've just completed a challenging hike. The food options have certainly changed over the years but I really enjoy the Squatch Box now, hopefully that's a permanent option. I enjoyed all the options for food. My husband and I split the chili cheese fries, chicken finger basket, and hot dog. The chili cheese fries are perfect after a day of hiking! My only downfall with dru bru sad to say is the beer. I'm just not impressed. I cannot get into the beer. The hazy ipa tasted pretty weak and the previous beers I've had here are just ok. Now, this is only personal preference but I like a little more hop flavor to my beers. It's interesting to point out all the new development taking place on the summit at the pass - lots of construction. Hopefully the pass will be able to maintain its beauty but currently it does take away from the experience.

It's the first day of the first atmospheric river event and winter is now here. Unfortunately the winter beers are not yet here. They brew mostly German style beers, which I usually are not my faves. Had a nitro black lager which was tasty but predictably lighter than my usual porters and stouts. Nice tall ceilings and a nice space for a gathering. Will have to revisit.

Really enjoy this brewery after hiking snow lake! Beer was good! They also have fun options including root beer floats and spiked cider seasonally. Nice Mountain View from the patio. You can also bring over food from the resteraunt next door if their food truck happens to be closed.

Dru Bru at Snoqualmie is one of my fav breweries and go to place after a good day skiing or snowshoeing in the area or even hiking in the neighborhood during summer. We always order their Coffee Lager (amazing) and their Gingerbread beer is great too and so is their ski patrol. Basically anything your order here will be amazing. They have won several beer competitions and clearly they are one of the best in this business. They always have a hot dog truck - Squatch Box parked outside which pairs very well with their beers. And the fries are amazing too. We order the Hyak dog and its delicious. Dru bru has plenty of indoor and outdoor heated firetable seating. Its gorgeous to see the sunset over these snow clad mountains in winter over these fire top tables. Great place to hang out with friends. Pets allowed in outdoor seating only. A huge shoutout to Dru Bru for helping people stay at the brewery during the recent seattle snow storm. They had their lights on and converted their brewery to offer plenty of place for stranded locals to sleep during the harsh snow storm conditions. Highly recommend giving these guys a visit even though its a drive away it is all worth it. See u soon.

Want to give it 5 so bad, this place is boring though... shuffle board tables like tavern hall, foosball, darts!? please give us something to do at snoqualmie pass while we stand around and drink some beer and I'll update this review to a 5. You guys should have live DJ's on the weekends. 30 min from Seattle.

Unlike many of the patrons you'll find here, I'm not much of a skier. But I do appreciate a good brewery, especially one that's so conveniently located. If you're skiing, I believe this would be a great spot to wind down after a long day on the slopes. For me, it's a perfect stop on my way over the mountains. Whenever my travels take me over the pass (usually to Roslyn or Leavenworth), I always schedule a pit stop at Dru Bru for a quick drink and bite to eat since they're right off the freeway, so it's very convenient. And if I'm driving, I'll pick up a growler to bring with me to my final destination. And while their atmosphere and location deserves five stars easily, the beer to me isn't quite five star quality - yet. They do offer many types of beers and even a guest cider tap, so both the selection and the variety of beer is plentiful. I'm an IPA guy and they usually have at least a few different varieties on tap; last time there was a single, double, and even a triple IPA on tap. The single was decent but fell short of being amazing. To me, this is the only thing holding them back from a full five star review so I'll make sure to report back and update my review in case they get their beer to the next level. They don't serve food but there is a restaurant accessible from the inside of the brewery called Commonwealth where you can order food and they'll deliver it to you in the brewery. There are also several nearby restaurants that will also deliver, but I tend to eat at Commonwealth since their food is really good, it's faster than ordering delivery, and I don't have to pay a delivery fee. Keep in mind that since I'm usually traveling I'm just here for a quick break so speed is important to me. They also now have a food truck outside called Squatch Box which is another option for a quick bite. On my last visit I tried Squatch Box for lunch and got the lamb Donar Kebab and a soft pretzel. I was unimpressed with the Kebab since it was dry and lacking flavor, but the pretzel was really good. So in the future, I'll stick with ordering from Commonwealth unless I just want to snack on a pretzel. Or for a quick snack, Dru Bru does have an excellent snack mix that has a combination of hard pretzels, Cheez-it crackers and Funions. Yes, Funions! I'll usually order this and take it to go since it's a great snack. Dru Bru is also kid-friendly. My kids love the snack mix, and Dru also has flavored sodas for the kids which is a nice change of pace from the usual juice or milk offerings.

I absolutely love Dru Bru. I first started coming here in 2017 when I needed to get my fix of snowy mountains. Great location at the summit. It's really nice and cozy and the feel inside matches the area. You can see the brewery on the right side through the windows. I enjoy their beers, especially the Hefe and they have a special one each winter. There's a projector for the games and otherwise a good playlist going if nothings on to watch. There's a food truck outside as well as next door. The staff are cool and the place is pretty laid back but everything in order. Definitely worth the drive.

This was a great brewery! I can definitely see it being really busy during ski season because it was already busy when I stopped by. The space definitely has a ski lodge feel and has a great view as well. This brewery makes German/Belgian inspired beers. I had a special Bordeaux Belgian beer which was aged in wine barrels. It was one of the best beers I've had recently. It did cost extra but it was definitely worth it!! They also have some of their specialty ones in bottles and cans to go as well for a pretty good price. This is definitely a good stop for German style beers, I would recommend a stop by here.

We stopped here after driving up to Snoqualmie Falls. We saw the little strip and thought "lets check this out". Glad we did! DruBru is a brewery. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but Hubby tried a small size of a beer he liked and said it was good. They also have a foodtruck in the parking lot if you want to order food. My favorite part was that they have outdoor seating with picnic tables and firepits! This is a nice chill place to hang out and enjoy brewskees!

We came here by accident but we're so glad we made it. Having several beers from their bottles we expected a good 5ime at the brewery and it's exactly like what we expected - ambience: nice and warm with AMAZING views - beers: we tried 3 beers there, all was good, nothing to complain but nothing actually is excellent ( unfortunately) - food: they do have food trucks and the food we had on that day was super bad lol it actually didn't click well with the beer so it's something negative - service: super friendly staff, ask them if you don't know what style you want, they will give you honest answer - seatings: they have both indoor and outdoor seatings. There's fire pit for you if you seat outside. Overall: we had a blast here, mainly bc of the view and the beer, not a fan of the food. Definitely will come back here during 5h3 summer to seat outside

Is there really much to complain about when drinking "literally" ice cold beer on a mountain side? It's a nice location with beautiful views of mountain snow, sunshine and log cabins. There is limited seating outdoors right now with fire pits and undercover seating inside converted shipping containers. I had the hefe and it was delicious. There isn't food there but there is a restaurant next door that you can order food to go and sit down and eat on the Dru Bru side. Staff is nice and friendly, they do offer some table service if needed or you can pop in and order beer at the counter. Great beer, good vibes and great people! will be coming back soon and hopefully the slopes will be open to pair the great beer with some great boarding!

Tl;dr no better place to get a brew and food after some time on the slopes (reviewed in winter) Heard about this place from a friend and came after a full day of snowboarding. This place is right between summit central and summit west so it's the perfect place to take a break or end the day. The beer here is really good and the food is way better than what you can get at the summit. Their outdoor area is also awesome to just relax and warm up after sliding around in the snow.

Good vibes at Dru Bru! We went for a long hike to Franklin Falls in the snow and treated ourselves to a day beer on the pass. Great beer selection, dog friendly, we didn't get any food at the truck but the chili looked tasty and there are a variety of small bites. My cold hands enjoyed their outdoor fire tables between sips of their Hazy Sessions and Amber Lager!

I like dru bru for the beers they have. I got the Hefeweizen when I swung by after a day of boarding at the summit. I ate at the restaurant next door which is called commonwealth, but they sell the beers from dru bru on their menu, and I really enjoyed the beer! Dru Bru has a little food cart out front in the event you don't want to eat at the commonwealth or if it's too busy and have some heated seating out front which is nice for when it gets a bit busier. I would recommend cause the beers they make are very good! The Hefeweizen was light and had a bit of fruitiness to it which I really enjoyed and I typically like lighter beers and this was perfect!

This place is a must stop on the pass. They have outdoor seating that is covered and heated. Great beer selection and a local food truck makes it a perfect stop. Kid and dog friendly which is a real plus.

Great stop after hiking in area, to Snow Lake. What a find! The beers were all excellent (Kölsch, Hefe, Pilsner & Pale Ale). Service was great, mood was as well sitting outside and the food truck also hit the spot - A+

Just finished the holiday dinner at Dru Bru, with Squatch Box's Matt preparing two incredible slabs of Prime Rib with great sides for about 30 of us. Paired with Dru Bru beer and we were in complete bliss. These dinner events from Squatch Box are worth the drive, if you are competent in snow driving and with the distance from North Bend or Cle Elum. Good stuff. Stay safe driving!

Yes yes yes! Nothing better than a great brewery after a long day on the mountain. It's a small location but the views are fantastic. There is a restaurant next door and a food truck outside. Both the restaurant and the food truck have gluten free options! They have a lot of beer to choose from but also an incredible in house cider! The one they had this week was a guava and pineapple infused cider. I took a growler to go!

Great burgers, staff and ambience. Plenty of open. Area inside and out. Food is delicious and priced well. Staff is accommodating. Perfect end back at the beginning fo these southbound PCT trekkers

Love the vibe, love the beer, love that Dru Bru is here. Snoqualmie Pass really should be a year round destination. Dru Bru gives us a wonderful option for apres beers during skiing or hiking season. Kids and dogs are allowed with board games all over the place. And the beers are interesting!!! A lot of German influence and they aren't ramming 18 overly hopped IPAs down your throat though they have those to satisfy hop hounds too. Part of me wishes I could find their brews more readily available at home in Seattle, but then again it gives me an excuse to get out in the mountains to pick up a crowler or three. Thank you Dru Bru! Mountain made in Washington!!!

Wow! It's a shame that I haven't been to Dru Bru sooner! I have seen it several times while traveling to Eastern Washington on I-90 but never made the commitment to stop. The brewery is actually really close to the Interstate so you can get on and off with ease! The beers that Steve and I had here were wonderful! I had the Bavarian Style Hefeweizen which was very good... maybe a bit too banana in the flavor but definitely very enjoyable. Sometimes Hefes can be a bit too much for me in that regard but it really depends on the recipe and how they brew it. I'm not complaining too much though... it was good! Probably what I liked better... Steve did too after tasting mine was the Serious Bru Bohemian Pilsner that he got. It had such a great flavor to it... the maltiness and the bitterness were just perfect. That was definitely a stellar beer and one I would definitely make the effort in exiting off of the Interstate to get a pint of. The service was good, friendly. There is also a great view here which is an extra bonus!

Kudos to Dru Bru and their brewmaster for such excellent beer!!! My wife & I recently visited Dru Bru's Snoqualmie ski area location for the first time, and were pleasantly surprised on how good their beer is! We've had past travels to Europe (including Germany), so we've become a bit spoiled/picky with beer, but these guys do an excellent job!  A lot of local breweries focus on IPA's and don't include much outside of that, or if they do, they don't do a very good job with them, but Dru Bru is well balanced with having a variety of different brews, and the non-IPA brews we tasted were excellent (I'm sure that the IPA's are good as well, but we're not much into those)! We really enjoyed their pilsner, kolsch, hefeweizen & amber lager.  Congrats to Dru Bru with having great beer & great service, and compliments to the brewmaster, they really seem to know what they're doing! Awesome brewery with amazing beers on tap. Came here Sunday afternoon, on a nice sunny day after camping up to gem/snow lake with the gf. It was a 20 mile hike, we were hungry and thirsty this place satisfied all our cravings. The ice cold brews! The flight was the best to try them all out. Had the pacific crest ipa, the single batch ipa, the Hefeweizen was superb light gold crisp, the angel dust, was fascinating- mango flavors with glitter! Slight hints of edible glitter in the beer lol tastes better than it looks lol There was also a delicious food truck with pretzels, fries, amazing sliders, and kale salad/ donut balls. I think I seriously ate one of everything. If you're coming back from a hike near that I-90 corridor and your in this lovely town, check this spot out!

A group of four stopped here while taking a road trip. Ample free parking is available. Discover is an accepted form or payment. A very clean brewery. There are several board games that can be played while slurping and visiting. A variety of great brews are on draft. Brews are served in great stemware. Snacks are available for purchase. Full meals are also available from a nearby restaurant. I ordered a 20oz Alt German Copper ale for $6.06. My wife ordered a Pass Life Pale ale for $6.06. We both truly enjoyed our choices. Our friend purchased a darling 32oz growler of Summit Summer ale for enjoyment at home. While visiting and slurping we munched on a bowl of Sriracha pretzels for $3.70. Cheyenne was personable and helpful in our brew choices. Thank you Dru Bru for whetting our whistles.

This place is the bee's knees. I have come here twice after long, cold days of hiking. The brews and the food heat me right up. Highlights include the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers. They were fresh out of the oven last time and so, so, satisfying. The balsamic drizzle is the drizzle of my dreams. Also pretty cool that it's next to an open room with memorabilia from past winter Olympics. Overall ambience is mountain cabin, with construction signs plastered around the walls. I'd like to think it is an ode to the perpetual construction on I-90.
