"Whether you want a casual lunch, a spot for Happy Hour, or just a relaxed dinner, the Drunken Goat fits the bill. Start with a meat and cheese spread and some oysters, add on the Thai beef lettuce wraps and a wedge salad, and round things out with one of their many bruschetta—the one with prosciutto, pistachios, and goat cheese is the best. The patio is a fun scene where locals hang out, recognize each other, and yell things like, “I haven’t seen you since off-season!” Drunken Goat also happens to be across Highway 6 from the Riverwalk Theater, so it’s a great stop for a quick meal before a movie." - Kim Fuller

We stopped here on our way to Denver to have lunch. We ordered a salad, a poke bowl and a saviche. The food was really good, the service was great and the restaurant was clean all around. We enjoyed the delicious and fresh food. At least $30-$50 per person

If you’re coming for cheese and wine, please don’t be distracted by my low review. I came in strictly for lunch with a few friends. I ordered tuna poke and it came with some crackers that doesn’t fit the meal. I ordered the Mac and cheese side, super dry. The corn side didn’t have much flavor other than the corn. The carrot side with yogurt is yummy but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come get this. The Philly cheese steak is delicious and full of flavor. The chicken sandwich is edible and enjoyable but I would struggle to call this the best restaurant. Chicken

LOVE this place! We have eaten here numerous times but recently I got the chicken salad. It was so dang delicious. Very little mayo, very chicken forward! It was perfection.

Google
One of my family’s absolute favorite spots in the Vail Valley! Drunken Goat is awesome - phenomenal cheese selection, great outdoor patio during summer, and the service is amazing. We have nut and gluten allergens to deal with when going out, and the service of Drunken Goat has always been above and beyond. If you have an allergen and are worried about going out to eat, the staff at Drunken Goat are very knowledgeable and will make you feel right at home! Also- the chicken panini is so good.

Very good service and atmosphere. Reasonably priced for the area. Interesting menu. Unfortunately, though, food quality was very mediocre. For our group, we had quite a few items and aside from few appetizers, most everything was either dry or tasteless. In particular, we had high hopes for short ribs - they were really hard to chew and lacking any flavors. Duck was extremely dry - we asked one to be redone and the second one was slightly better. Meatballs were just bad - frozen ones from grocery store have better texture and flavor. Chocolate fondue was good though.

Google
We had lunch here. It's not a comfortable place. It's very loud, and they have those industrial metal chairs that even a regular-sized butt has trouble squeezing into. The service wasn't bad. The food was pedestrian but pricey (a small sandwich and potato chips). A large party showed up, were seated across the middle of the floor, and my wife and I could literally not hear each other talk over the din of voices, screeching chairs on concrete, and inexplicably loud music, the latter of which only added to the cacophony. A party next to us finally left before ordering. However, the main flaw in the comfort department is that they have a large seating area, inside and outside, which can accommodate dozens of diners (and did), many of whom are drinking beer, yet they have only one, unisex, single-seater restroom. If this was only a wine and cheese store and not a restaurant, that might make sense, but it's also a restaurant.

Google
This place is fantastic! Stopped by for dinner recently and had an awesome meal - our server, Jake, was great and the food was delicious! We tried all kinds of things and everything was good. We started with a few bruschetta - the smoked salmon, bacon with burrata and sun dried tomato, and peach with feta and jamon serrano. All were great but the crowd favorite was the smoked salmon. We also tried the shrimp cocktail, burrata, simple salad, Greek salad, and mushroom ravioli. All were good! But the favorite might have been the truffle humboldt fog cheese - wow, it was so good! Next time we stop by, I suspect we’ll fill up on just the cheese and bruschetta! Really great spot, great wine, great menu!

Google
The Falafel sandwich was very good and light, and their daily soup was really yummy. Our server forgot one of our drinks, and when she realized she apologized and the drink was on the house. A great place in Edwards for a quick bite!

Kristina M.

Yelp
Love this location concept every thing was great . Great food many cheese options and wine for those drinkers yay. Some yummy non-alcoholic options also

Yelp
WOW ! Lana , Aly and a great chef made for a fantastic meal in the patio. Meatballs , mac and cheese for apps. Poke and Curry for second course. All flavorful clean food.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch. The sandwiches, atmosphere and staff were all great. Extensive cheese selection. Happy hour is 3:00-5:00pm. Patio is dog friendly. Nice views too.

Yelp
Lovely place in Edwards, Colorado, I highly recommend their happy hour, and particularly the pimento cheese plate 9regular $14 Happy Hour $8), which was delicious. The advertised $1.50 oysters were quite incredibly small, so I would give those a pass. Beer and wine specials for happy hour as well. $5 IPA and $7 wine. Live music on Saturdays, it was oldies 60's acoustic rock which was good background music. Draws a real crowd starting at 6. Service was attentive and good. Why not 5 stars? Uncomfortable seating. All unpadded iron seats.

Daniel M.

Yelp
We stopped on our way to Craig. The only downside was that the hostess forgot that we had checked in and we waited just a bit longer than necessary for a table. She did make up for it by discounting our meal. So kudos there. Food was good. Had a cheesesteak sandwich and the wife had the chicken panini. Good portions, but not so much that you had to leave it on your plate. Our server was great and was attentive and not overbearing. We'd stop again if ever in the area.

Abigail W.

Yelp
After getting turned away at Craftsman Brew Co for not having a reservation, we happened upon the Drunken Goat and wow, what a great find! They have a great cheese, wine, beer and cocktail menu in addition to their food menu. Everything we ordered was delicious! It was a Tuesday and they had an awesome acoustic artist playing in the restaurant, that definitely added positivity to the great vibe! Can't wait to come back.

Anne B.

Yelp
The BEST! So awesome. Just say yes to your next party. Signature arrangements and great quality.

Yelp
Friendly staffs and scrumptious food. The place is a gem! It is always crowded and the service and menu are outstanding. Anytime I stay at Beaver Creek Resort I will definitely dine at Drunken Goat!

Yelp
We had the worst experience here last week. They sat our party of 10 at two separate tables (which we agreed to in order to be seated). We did not see a server for over 15 mins when we finally alerted the manager (who then told us to "hang on") One table finally placed a drink order while the other table continued to wait. Eventually one table placed a food order while the other was told to wait...completely uncoordinated (and slow) service. THEN - my young daughter found a SCREW in her pasta. It is extremely fortunate that she saw it before she swallowed it. We alerted the server who then replaced her meal. No one apologized for or acknowledged the situation. When the manager brought us the bill I asked if he had removed the pasta meal. He simply said "No we replaced the food". AND they had the audacity to place a 20% automatic gratuity for a "large group". WOW. So disappointing all around for an Edwards restaurant. We will not be dining here again. Clearly poor food safety standards and greedy management.

Jimmy D.

Yelp
I'm a local and my wife and I come here a few times each year. The food and service are always great. The Drunken Goat Flatbread and the Cookie Butter Pie are especially good.

Lauren R.

Yelp
Drunken Goat is easily one of my favorites while visiting Edwards! I've dined here twice and it's been a 5-star experience both times. The interiors are very relaxed with Colorado vibes. "Living for the moment" is the motto here, and I can certainly get on board with that when the food and drinks are this good! I absolutely love their bruschetta, especially the Bourbon & Bacon Jam one. Previously when I visited they had a Smashed Avocado with Roasted Tomatoes and a Warm Chèvre with Fig Spread and Apple on the menu - both delicious! For appetizers I highly recommend the Warm Brie Brûlée, it was delightful. The Pimento Cheesesteak was phenomenal and a really well done sandwich. Parking is easy and free, and they even have live music on certain days. There is a good variety of tables inside and outside, but probably the outdoor tables are more popular during the summer. If you are a cheese and wine lover, Drunken Goat is a must stop while you're in the Beaver Creek/Edwards area! Good food and vibes makes it easy to have great conversations with the ones you love. I will surely be back at Drunken Goat on my next visit to the area!

Kyle O.

Yelp
The first time we saw they were packed so we came back later, and there was no wait. Had a few old fashions and enjoyed the wait staff. Will return. Didn't try any of the food but it all looked good.

Kelsey R.

Yelp
I would give this place ten stars if I could! One of the best lunch experiences in the area. Filet bruschetta was TO DIE FOR. Seriously. I dream about it. Also had the pimento dip which was yummy. Sparkling cosmo was amazing. Finally, somewhere with Veltliner wine on a menu!!! Service was stellar. It was so good we came back the next day for red wine mules, another bottle of Veltliner, and filet bruschetta again. GO HERE!!!

David B.

Yelp
Nice plates and good wine selection. Enjoyable outside seating. Could use some better choices for kids

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Interesting menu and pretty glassware for the wines. Things started off OK with some fresh Maine oysters that were delicious. However, the acoustics were poor despite foam baffling on the ceiling and under the tables, so it was really hard to hear each other. My salad greens seemed gritty, like sandy escarole was used. When I politely informed our server, in case others might be served the same, she said it was not possible because it's a pre-washed bagged mix. She said that I was probably confusing it with the crushed pistachios. I thought perhaps they might take the salad off the bill, even though I did not insist they take it back. They seemed to be rushing us out the whole time. Our entrees came out long before our appetizers were close to being finished. They did not offer us a dessert menu and just dropped the check. All this even though we were seated 45 minutes before they had told us the kitchen closes; I had called ahead. This was our somewhat fancier meal at the end of our ski trip to the area and we were disappointed.

Bruce F.

Yelp
Great small plates and wine place. Love the bruschetta and wonderful hummus. Nice selection of wines by the glass. More Goat? Yes, please!

Sarah W.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a charcuterie board and drinks! A lot of bruschetta board options (comes with 4 pieces) and the sandwich and soup we ordered came out already split so we were happy and grateful for that! Staff was super nice and service was fast. They have a few local CO cheeses and meats on the charcuterie menu which was great to see. Will be back to try more bruschetta and of course some meats and cheeses!

K J.

Yelp
Love the idea of creating your own charcuterie! It was wonderful. We sat on the patio looking over the mountains. Kayla was lovely and helpful at picking our cheeses.

tracey m.

Yelp
Sadly, mixed feelings. Last week I ate there for dinner and both my husband and I didn't feel well a few hours later. The rotisserie chicken was dry and not fresh and I had food poisoning for sure: Great concept but attention to detail not there. Also, extremely rude male manager Wednesday night.

Tasha J.

Yelp
Was super excited to try this place for happy hour after hiking in the area. The server was the nicest man! He helped us decide on apps and sizes. The food was delish, the bruschetta with bacon and jam was so good. The shop was super cute and they had good space both indoors and outside. The prices really make this place special. For the quality and size of the plates, you won't be disappointed!

Marie J.

Yelp
Ambiance is lovely and I could see coming here for a glass of wine or on a date. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and slow to come out. Our server was super friendly, but sadly the food disappointed.

Larry M.

Yelp
Great place for lunch. Always a pleasant and accommodating staff. Menu might be a bit limited for some but the selections are interesting. Try the cheese selection, a bottle of wine and forget about the hot place you came here to escape. Outside seating is my preference. Parking can be scarce at times but usually space available behind the building (upstairs).

Dj K.

Yelp
We are new locals and have eaten at this restaurant 3 times for dinner. I'm vegetarian and there are limited dinner options unless I want salad, sides or a cheese platter. At previous visits the kitchen has made the falafel sandwich off the lunch menu for me. This is more of a healthier meal with protein which the other options aren't. Last night we were told the kitchen couldn't make the falafel sandwich by the manager so we left and ate next door. Unless there are better vegetarian options or flexibility in the dinner offerings we won't be back.

J P.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service. A real gem of a foodie spot. Nice wine selection too! Thanks

Lexi S.

Yelp
Cheese boards are so good and so fun. Good happy hour wine as well. Super fun and delicious to split a lot of small plates. Awesome staff and atmosphere

Amanda G.

Yelp
The meal, service, and general atmosphere was fantastic. Drove to Edwards for an appointment, happened upon the Drunken Goat, and we will return. Chicken Salad and the Veggie Stack were simple, flavorful and ideal for a sunny afternoon!

Stephanie K.

Yelp
What a great experience! It's a really cute place with a lot of outside seating and a farmhouse feel. We started with Old Fashioned's, which were incredible! The base was Four Roses bourbon and it's as smooth as you can get. Then the olive and Artichoke appetizer with goat cheese. I could have eaten an entree size of that dish! Then we split the Korean BBQ sandwich and the French Dip sandwich. Each one had spectacular flavor! Usually, a French Dip has an au ju that is forgettable but not this one. It had a flavor of its own that was beautiful. The Korean BBQ sandwich had so many layers of flavor that every bite gave you a new one. Plus, it had the best type of spice - flavorful and spicy but not burning. Very nice staff and worth another trip back.

Almira S.

Yelp
Love the food. Our server seems to not want to serve us. But the manager ruin it mostly, we were dining with my toddler, who as a kid is making noise but I always asked her to keep it low. This manager came and point blank rude telling us to shut up. Not coming back and wont recommend it right now.

Alex M.

Yelp
I'm going to keep it short and simple. The food is good, the kitchen is fast, and the staff is friendly! Great for lunch and apps!

Katie O.

Yelp
Quality of drinks and food is amazing. Service is great. Our waitress Jessica rocked it

Bayli M.

Yelp
I love the food here! There are very few places in the valley that have healthy option where I can eat and feel good after. The service is awesome! Everyone is so nice! I love the ambiance because you can dress up if you want but you can also go casual. One of my favorite restaurants for sure!

Lori M.

Yelp
The greatest happy hour, thoughtful and inspired plates, excellent cheese selection, friendly, anticipatory service. I recommend this place to everyone.

Nick B.

Yelp
We had a friend recommend this place to us and I want to start out with that the food, atmosphere, and service deserve 5 stars and I will absolutely come here again. I am rating at 3 stars however because of how rudely we were greeted at the door. We called to ask for reservations and easily made them. They gave us a time of 8:15 on a Saturday night. When we showed up, the hostess acted like we were a huge inconvenience to them and told us we could only be seated if we could get all our orders in right away because she said the kitchen was closing even though the restaurant hours are open until 9pm. This made us extremely uncomfortable and we debated leaving after sitting down. Luckily, our server (don't remember her name but she was from Wisconsin) came quickly and reassured that we were welcome and took great care of us. Again, great place to eat, just not how you want to be treated or welcomed when going to a restaurant.

Chardea N.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. Wine and cheese board were perfect. I loved how you can pick everything on the board.

Ben S.

Yelp
Nice local spot, good atmosphere, good service. Menu has always been good. However, with the recent seasonal menus change the flavors are still there but the portions shrank and the prices stayed the same.

Matthew G.

Yelp
Did not expect the food to be so damn dank dope delicious. As Guy Fieri would say "flavor town"

Jake N J.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend going here after 8pm. It clearly says it's open until 9 but they refused us service at 8:10. I wanted to meet my daughter to celebrate some exciting last minute news. I really just wanted a nice bottle of wine and dessert but when I walked in the young girl looked to the blonde ruthless manger and all she said was "No" So here is my thoughts say No to this not so friendly atmosphere!

Katie F.

Yelp
I'm from California and I have to say this place was a great find! We asked someone at the book store nearby for a restaurant recommendation and she suggested this place, and it did not disappoint! Good food, lots of different cheese plates, and live music to top it off (on a Wednesday!) if I wasn't leaving in a couple days I'd definitely be back

Diana M.

Yelp
delicious water melon gazpacho...sweet, salty, cold and so good. the poke had little flavor with tuna cut as large chunky pieces. not exciting poke. salads are excellent. nice patio for summer dining.

Dennis P.

Yelp
This place is amazing and the customer service is even better. All of the meals our group ordered were fantastic.

Waviator U.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. The locals discovered this place and have helped make it an amazing place to eat drink and listen to live music. Lilly has done an incredible job turning the Drunken Goat into a must visit eatery. The selection of cheese and wine is unusual for this type of venue, but it is spot on. The menu is also unique and very good. The wait staff is also very knowledgeable and attentive. If you are lucky enough to have Amy as your waitress, you will have an unforgettable experience.

Loreal W.

Yelp
I love spending time on their patio in the summer, sipping wine and snacking off a charcuterie plate. Some night they have live music. It's a whole vibe and I love it.

Gordon K.

Yelp
What a find... after driving from Vail, we did a quick menu search on yelp and this place came up. All of us were so excited about the menu. The setting was fun, it was a hip and trendy place. We shared the bruschetta ( a couple of them) and what a great way to begin a meal. The salmon was great too. Some fun mixed drinks coupled with great food and service! Definitely on the list to visit again.

Nathan W.

Yelp
Fantastic spot to get out and about and taste Some really good artesian sandwich's and great fair. Enjoyed the cheese tasting and loved we could take it on the road. Highly recommended to get out of the Vail grind and tourist show!

Susan F.

Yelp
We visited the Drunken Goat for late lunch after golf, after spending $137 at a golf course restaurant a day earlier on two sandwiches and four drinks. This area is so nuts! We spent less than that at the Goat for three delicious negronis and a wonderful glass of wine, plus the yummy Chevre and Apple bruschetta, Chicken Salad my husband raved about, and my Watermelon Salad. (I did not lick the plate but did empty it.) The patio there is laid out very thoughtfully -- shaded tables well spaced out, and a stage-like corner where the happy hour musician was setting up with the mountains behind him, lots of nice landscaping and cool fountains separating the space from the busy parking lot. Garage style doors open up the interior to the patio in good weather. It had a serene adult vibe, with a Pool Chill soundtrack instead of that vintage rock you hear all over the mountains, not the kind of place you'd find a bunch of little kids running around, although maybe that changes in the evening. Hope not. What a treat! We'll be back soon...like, maybe today.

Jaymee S.

Yelp
I usually love this place, and their food is awesome, always fresh. I eat here often. But this was the second visit where a server was rude to me. It was the same person, and both times, it was her error, but she tried to make me feel badly about asking for the soup I ordered. She had forgotten to put it in, and instead told me that she, "only had two hands." The soup never arrived and I had to ask another server for it. But once I finally got it, it was delicious. As I said, thus was the second time this person was rude to me.

Mahbobe M.

Yelp
Stop by to enjoy an outdoor place to sip wine along with cheese and meat platter for snack. They Also like many other eateries in vail sell to go items, fresh baked bread etc. We stopped here for a birthday party for 4 celebrations and we had a great time. We ordered wine with cheese and meat platter, and of course olives. The service is spot on and staff are great. Once you sit you just don't want to leave, great outdoor space very bright and airy.

Kim L.

Yelp
On Thursdays there's live music so our friend showed up to celebrate her birthday with a few friends at 4pm. I arrived around 6:30. There are about 12 friends jammed around two small tables. There was an empty table, among two other free tables on the patio, next to our friends. We asked the staff if we could grab one of the tables to sit down so we weren't hovering and were informed there is a wait list for the table. The wait staff then sat two people who had just walked up at that table, leaving the other two tables empty. Another friend walked in to hear the waitstaff ask "when are they going to leave?". That was a bummer, considering our friends had been ordering wine and food for hours on a slow night. We felt like they were trying to kick us out by not allowing us to sit at adjacent empty tables. Our group was full of all locals: realtors, concierges, and guides who have recommended Drunken Goat a lot but the way we were treated was a real disappointment. Don't alienate the locals, please.

Siri D.

Yelp
My absolute favorite. Oysters are on point & there is always something fresh and new on the menu!
