Google
A very great study spot with plenty of food options for all diets. The Mojo Jojo is a great choice for coffee and the staff is all kind and friendly. They also have a drive thru and great pastries, some are even vegan and gluten free.

Google
Love that there is lots of vegan food! Nice servers. The cool eclectic tables and chairs are fun.

This place is FIRE🔥🔥🔥. LGBTQ safe. The food is fabulous and it’s a great vibe. No corporate flavors here. Absolutely delicious and worth it.

Google
Gah, I just love their breakfast menu and coffee drinks. It's unique, vegan friendly and fresh tasting. I also love that their "flavor" options for coffee are more than most, I'm constantly trying new things because of this. Service is always a miss, they are there to take your order and serve.... definitely lacks that "welcome vibe" so I pretty much stick to drive thru these days but to be frank, this is the norm for most places these days so I'm not bothered, it just doesn't excite me to hang out there.

Google
I dunno, place didn’t really do it for me. Counter service. Insufficient indoor seating (I was there around 10:30am on Saturday and wound up having to take an outdoor table because there were no indoor tables left). Ordered a latte, but they served it in a regular coffee mug with no attempt at latte art. It was also fairly bland. The vegan banana nut brownie was also just ok, texture was not quite as fudgy as I prefer.

Google
First time here, I came because of the reviews and location. I ordered the Mojo Jojo hot 12oz with two flavor shots raspberry and marshmallow. Man this is good coffee! I can taste the flavor shots very well, they aren't muddied together. The staff is kind and efficient, and the atmosphere is very peaceful with music at an easygoing volume that still allows for conversation. The choice of furniture is cozy and there's enough seating for about 15-20 people. They have their own parking lot as well.

Google
the cutest coziest spot !! this is one of the few places left that still has that dark rustic authentic coffee shop vibe. such a breath of fresh air from the cold sterile modern ones. please never change 🫶🏻 also the food is amazing and the staff is always so sweet and helpful :,)

Rob Roy

Google
I’m always on the lookout for good vegan food and Drunken Monkey has great egg alternative breakfast options with a vegan cajun mayo that is just amazing! My daughter and I go as often as we can.

Yelp
I got the ANZAC cookie which is gluten free and vegan, it is AMAZING! Truly! Also go the Tantric Mayan, a spiced Mayan Cocoa espresso drink, WOW!! Service was kind, fast, and helpful! Ambiance is funky and cool in the best way!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The Drunken Monkey is right on Bumby Ave, corner of Stanley St, next to Beefy King. I was surprised by this small restaurant. It is family owned and has been operating for 17 years; something they're doing right. I called and placed my order by phone, as I could not figure out how to place an online order; no big deal. The young woman that answered the phone was very polite and sounded so sweet and friendly. She helped me with my order and suggested alternatives to what I wanted, because what I asked for was not on their menu anymore. I ended up with a Royale Panini which is very tasty and a Turmeric Latte (Golden Milk). I got the Turmeric Latte because I've been meaning to try it and for its potential health benefits. Now, that Royale Panini was stupendous, it was done almost to perfection; it came with a little side of potato salad, which was enough and tasty except that it needed a little bit of salt. Order was done fast. I went in to pick up my order and order was ready for me to pick up and go. The staff is great. I will be back to try other items that I saw on their menu and to try their Matcha; I love Matcha. Thank you for the great food and service Drunken Monkey!

Yelp
If a black T-shirt and black pants are your employers dress code I'm not mad at ya especially when your servers have such a big smile. This makes for even cooler vibe here. The tunes they played were island perfect and enjoyed while there. I requested their house coffee and I ordered a Turkey pesto sandwich. Now I'm a coffee snob and the coffee was okay for my preference but I like a bolder cup of coffee. They did have adequate add ins like sugar and cream available . That sandwich was delicious. It came cut in half as I requested and it had some wonderful potato salad next to it. I definitely would order that again. It was an experience to stop by drunken monkey coffee bar and that's what I was looking for.

Yelp
5 Star update for the best local drive-thru in town with GREAT burritos and coffee that hits the spot (so skip the big chain coffee shops, plz!) Drunken Monkey (DM for short in my fam) is conveniently located right on Bumby Ave. They have a drive-thru, so I regularly call ahead to order a couple baby egg & cheese burritos (you can get vegan or vegetarian) and an iced coffee (the mojo jojo if you're wanting a sweet treat!) and then pull around to the drive-thru. I also love their vegan pastries inside. Inside- this place is that quirky, little coffee shop you've always seen in independent movies but didn't think existed outside of Austin or Seattle. Forget the super modern, austere spots you see on Instagram- this is a full 90's era coffee shop vibe. The ambiance is great- people working on their laptops, knitting groups in the corner, unique local art on the walls. The first time I had a coffee at DM I struck up a conversation with a few guys about places we've traveled, capoeira (Brazilian dance martial arts), and the city. The seats and couches are close together, but that adds to the appeal- Who will you meet today? Oh yeah, and the coffee, tea, and drinks are delicious! This is a favorite of my vegetarian and vegan friends, and with good reason! The vegan burritos and deserts will make you vow to give up meat (until you smell the roast beef aroma wafting over from Beefy King next door). This place is the real deal and will make you feel like a free spirit- if only for a moment before heading to your corporate day job! 10/10- try the vegan baby burrito for a quick, small breakfast snack!

Yelp
Super cool spot! Good vibes all around. Coffee was good the syrups were very strong though so I'll probably ask for light flavoring when we come back. Gluten free vegan bagel was delicious af Got a good breakfast, coffee, and took home some local art

Yelp
Drunken monkey is such a chill vibe. When we walked in we could tell it was a very laid back spot which we loved. They have a pretty diverse menu with lots of vegan and non vegan options. We loved the mojo jojo and tantric Mayan coffees. The porky biscuit was my favorite. But the croissant was flakey and delicious as well. I definitely want to go back to try their lunch menu!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a bit of a sucker for a unique coffee bar. We asked over to this place after having lunch at a neighboring popular restaurant and ended our lunch with coffee. I had a latte and we sat inside. The whole place has a college outcast kind of vibe. I dig it, but it's certainly not fancy. Odd things around the walls and such. The coffee was tasty, but not special. If in the area I might stop by again.

Yelp
The food is delicious and underrated. Everything was wholesome and delicious and VEGAN goodness! Love the vegan tuna panini!

Yelp
While visiting Orlando, I wanted coffee and decided to try something different and found Drunken Monkey Coffee Bar. Their location eclectic with plenty of seating, tons of parking and the service was good. However.... I bought a coffee and a chai tea ahead of a long drive home and when I stopped for gas they were both promptly thrown away. They were terrible. The chai was boring. It lacked sweetness, texture and kind of tasted like milk and cinnamon. The coffee was blah. I'm hoping it was an isolated incident, maybe with a new staff member and that this is not their typical quality. There was nothing about either drink that makes me want to go back or recommend them. Because when we are charged good money, we expect good product and experiences in return. I'm sad about that because I love to support local businesses.

Yelp
What they aim for? Great customer service, hard working staff who serve their customers, and a safe environment for you to come and read a book or catch up with an old friend. Very quaint. Prices for sandwiches are A+ compared to other coffee shops.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
Such a cool spot. We had a delicious breakfast. Staff were friendly and service was great. chairs are super comfy and ambiance is chill. Highly recommend the Tree Hugger and Hawaiian Punch Kombucha!
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
I had dirty matcha latte ..and. It came in a foam cup..... which I have never had in a cafe shop for coffee before. Which that should have told me how it was going to taste...it tastes pretty blah. Service was nice. This place seems kinda run down. Def not recommended

Yelp
Can I just say that I always wanted to stop in here because the name is eye catching and it's a drive thru shop! Not gonna lie it does look hella sketchy and hopefully, one day, they'll upgrade the concrete in the drive thru as well as the exterior of the shop. Lots of parking. Dope graffiti art on the wall. The inside feels like you stepped back into the 80s but with a twist of Grandma's furniture. All it needs is the plastic on the chairs and we're good to go =) It was raining when I was there and so it was dark but a cozy dark. I could easily just sit here and let the time go by. The food here is vegan/vegetarian so I opted out for the breakfast wrap called Toadelly Eggselant wrap w/ a side of salsa which in my opinion was the best. I could go back and just order that w/ tortilla chips. I also ordered a vanilla and caramel iced coffee which was also a dream! Love Love love. Would I come back? 100%

Yelp
I have to admit I totally stopped here based on the name of the cafe. I found their menu very appealing as they had a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian options. I tried their Witchcraft panini, which consisted of curried sweet potatoes, goat cheese, and pesto. Also, it comes with what seemed to be a yummy side of mashed potatoes. It was really good as I have never had a sandwich with these ingredients before. Service was pretty fast. I was able to order my food and grab and go. The inside of the restaurant is nice as well and they have plenty of indoor seating.

Yelp
Very decent coffee and clean restrooms. Really- it's the small things. Very friendly staff and can't wait to come back and try more.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly no frills service, cozy and eclectic atmosphere. Great coffee and matcha. Haven't tried much food there but I might try some more food menu items soon, since I loved the tuna melt I had recently.

Julia W.

Yelp
Fantastic local coffee with plenty of good food options for breakfast and lunch. Great vegan options too.

Yelp
My friend and I were in Orlando for the weekend and just happened upon this coffee shop post airport...we both got the mojo jojo one iced one hot, and when I say it slapped I mean it might be my favorite coffee drink ever. I thought it was just the delirium from an early flight but we both loved it so much we went back the next day and it was still amazing. I've tried to recreate it at home but it's never been the same. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Orlando! food 5/5 - mojo jojo is a must try service 5/5 - don't remember anything but kindness from the baristas vibes 5/5 - great place to chill w a friend or get some work done

Yelp
Wow. This place is awesome. The smoothies were great and the soup was so good. Peaceful atmosphere and comfortable seating

Yelp
Was in the area and decided to try this place because my husband told me how delicious it was. I got a lavender latte, decaf, which is so delicious! I got it with soy milk as well. I also got a small egg and cheese burrito which they gave with a medium heat salsa. I didn't see any cheese in my burrito, but it was good otherwise, hot and fresh. This seems like a wonderful little hidden gem and I'm excited to try more. The girl at the window was super sweet and very helpful and didn't hesitate when I asked for a menu. They don't have a menu at the drive up, so I'm assuming you need to check online before or just ask her in a menu at the window.

Yelp
A very youthful vibe, we were the oldest folks here. We ordered breakfast sandwiches which were incredibly delicious - we didn't expect that from a coffee shop. I ordered the most amazing and unique iced tea - unsweetened raspberry rose. Loved it! Parking is a little tight even though they have their own parking lot. On Sundays they let you park next door at Beefy King.

Yelp
We've been coming here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. Two days ago was unique because we came to Orlando to escape hurricane Ian which was headed for us in Tampa. To celebrate our escape, we first visited Drunken Monkey before going to our hotel! Drunken Monkey is the ultimate unique local spot in Orlando! They serve their own roasted coffee with pure espresso, creative lattes or whatever you like. The food is always fun and interesting. Plus, the clientele and servers are always helpful and friendly. I met a fun and fascinating person during my visit who does her own tattoos and enjoys coffee as much as I do! They serve multiple types of vegan sandwiches and soups as well as other seafood or perhaps even a chicken soup. The soup menu seems to change every day which makes it fun! As for the coffee, I did the pure double espresso test. No sugar. No milk. Just fresh espresso. It was served with a beautiful crema and the aroma tantalized me. My first impression was one word. Sweet! Pure and truly delightful! My wife enjoyed the soups and her turmeric latte. I enjoyed my sandwiches. Life is good with excellent in house roasted espresso!
google avatar

Yelp
This is always one of my must visit places when I'm in Orlando. The iced mojo jojo is a treat, just the right amount of sweetness. Live that there is a drive thru, the service is always quick. Great for gluten-free options too.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't sleep on the many soup offerings Drunken Monkey offers. This purple cauliflower and potato soup is packed with flavor and goodness! Check daily for what soups are available! $8.99 for a pint

Yelp
Drove by a few times and kept telling myself I needed to come in. I'm always on the hunt for new coffee shops and Drunken Monkey's name alone captured me. It's a quaint and eclectic shop that I really enjoy especially when it comes to meeting with a few friends or just needing to get some work done. At the counter, they were offering seasonal flavors and I decided on the iced praline coffee and their porky breakfast biscuit sandwich. The coffee took maybe 3 minutes to make and it was served in a styrofoam cup (something I was not expecting). The coffee was sweet, but i didn't get much of the flavor that was advertised. The sandwich was later brought to my table and it looked good! I'm not sure if the biscuits are locally made, but it was good and filling! This was a great stop for breakfast!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
My favorite menu item is the treehugger breakfast burrito, super filling and goes so well with the tangy pink dipping sauce (not sure what it is but it's tangy creamy goodness). We usually finish off with a vegan blueberry muffin and a coffee - all via the convenience of the drive through!

Zack K.

Yelp
Service was good, Coffee was good, i liked the breakfast wrap I got. However the place looks clean but a little run down. Interior had an interesting smell and the exterior actually smelled like a dumpster - lost my appetite had to eat later.

Yelp
Love! Love! Love! From the laid back atmosphere to the positive energy flowing from staff, this place feels like home from the moment you walk in. Throw in a delicious latte & delectable baked goods and I'm one happy middle-aged chick! Most (possibly all) of their items are VEGAN BTW- don't let that sway you!!! I'm a meat lover and these goodies are phenomenal! I could eat the marshmallow brownies for every meal and never complain. Try out this gem and you won't be disappointed!!
google avatar

Lilly C.

Yelp
I love this place for vegan food. Their vegan pepper steak wrap is my favorite, even my non vegan husband requests it. Their vegan pastries kind of fell off over the past couple of years though. My main problem is that the staff is always so rude. I always feel unwelcome coming in, and even making orders over the phone makes me feel like I'm being a bother to them. If I was a non vegan I wouldn't come here because of the service, but their vegan food is so good I find myself coming back despite feeling unwelcome.

Yelp
Stopped in here randomly last week. Very unique spot. I had the French dip and it was excellent.
google avatar

Dorsa V.

Yelp
I've loved Drunken Monkey since I first got my drivers license and was allowed to explore on my own. The seating feels like your friend's living room, in a good way. I like how cozy and comfy this shop is. No pretentious vibes here. I've tried almost everything but I recently stopped in for a Yerba Mate can and got a Tree Hugger burrito and a chocolate chip cookie. Both delicious but this chocolate chip cookie??? Amazing! I get one every time now. Their Anzac cookies are also great and a perfect on-the-go boost.

Kaya R.

Yelp
The Mojo Jojo totally fell off! The flavor is so bland now. There are way too many good coffee shops out there that actually are clean and have tasty drink options.
google avatar

Kathy K.

Yelp
It's nice to support a small business with a cute eclectic vibe in Orlando. We stopped by for coffee and I had an herbal tea. The service was attentive. The inside has a bohemian feel.
google avatar

Alicia J.

Yelp
I've driven through many times for their iced coffee, but today I made time for a lunch break with family here and am so glad that I did! Their diverse menu has something for everyone - including vegetarian and gluten-free. We tried: - The Hash Wrap: corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese - The Witchcraft (vegetarian): curry roasted sweet potatoes, pesto, and goat cheese on grilled multigrain bread - The Vegan Philly (vegan): vegan "beef" setan, vegan "provolone", vegan mayo, and roasted green peppers and onions on ciabatta. All three sandwiches were delicious and filling, and recommended! I also got their peppermint lavender kombucha on tap, which was really good.
google avatar

Carla L.

Yelp
Drunken Monkey Coffee Bar is that "coffee shop" that provides so much more than just coffee. Honestly, I was drawn in by the "Gluten Free" and "Vegan" signs but they also offer gluten and non-vegan options. So, be careful when ordering if you want to ensure it's GF, Vegan, or both. I don't mind cheese here or there so I had the GF Everything Bagel with eggs and cheese, and the Root Veggie Soup. With that, I had a large iced berry unsweetened tea of the day. Everything was great, the bagel super tasty, the soup thick and hearty, it was comfort food for sure. Definitely coming back to enjoy more.

Yelp
Very punk rock! We stopped in for some breakfast this morning while we're in East Orlando to check out the Drunken Monkey Coffee Bar. Great options, lots of cookies and bakery items and prices were totally reasonable! I was going to get the Vegan Baby Burrito but decided on the GF Herbivore Bagel bc it basically had similar ingredients but when it showed up, I don't think I saw the cheese or grilled veggies I was expecting. It was a JustEgg Patty (the kind with veggies in it) and a gluten free everything bagel thin. I wasn't super hungry after enjoying the Elderberry Croissant, which definitely needed to be warmed because it must have been made the day before. The portion sizes are super small but again, prices are pretty reasonable. I also got a Mojo Coffee, made Vegan with Soy Milk and Vegan Condensed Milk. The cashier said they were pre-made in large batches of drip coffee so it couldn't be made decaf but I ordered it anyways. A little caffeine isn't so bad when you're pregnant, right? Lol Anyways, I really enjoyed breakfast here and I'm glad we stopped by. I would definitely recommend this little cafe! Chill vibe, yummy food and good prices.

Yelp
Good job nice atmosphere love the fancy ceilings especially nice touch. Kind cashier barista today. A grunge vibe in this place. Cool they offer drive through though did not used it, sat inside instead. Iced latte was ok not too much flavor to it (not strong espresso possibly?) would like to come in again for opportunity to try something more showcasing better flavor profiles of coffee.. drip coffee or plain espresso... possible it's my fault for not ordering something more indicating of this coffee quality. Nice big food menus have to recommend this to you in the Orlando area outside of downtown. They have a printer for available use. Good for students I would think. Thank you drunken monkey positive Monday experience for me
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
I went in for a cup of their mojo jojo but when the only milk options for that drink was whole milk or soy I passed on that choice. I decided instead to get an iced flavored latte with almond milk. It was delicious! Just what I wanted. There are many flavored options to choose from m, I went with caramel. It looks like a cool spot to chill while on your laptop enjoying a drink. There are plenty of quiet spots to choose from. They have a drive-thru option as well.
google avatar

Jarrod S.

Yelp
Stopped in on a weekday to have a coffee and use the internet to get some work done while traveling. Comfy seating area and lots of tasty morsels to choose from. We had the guava pastry and chicken empanadas both great. The guava pastry was undercooked was my only criticism. This place is bumby institution and has vegan options as well.
google avatar

Tj A.

Yelp
I have been coming here for my morning coffee for 14 years. The coffee is simply the best in our city, fully balanced to not be too bold or too weak. The staff have become like family as I have witnessed them go along in their lives simply getting it done. The thought of not having this place in my daily routine would be a huge bummer. I encourage you to go and have an amazing coffee, try their unique menu which doesn't exist anywhere else, and become a regular. In a town where everything seems to be new, chain-like, and touristy, this place is an escape from all that. It reminds me of my days in Seattle in the late 80s when the greatest bands of a generation were emerging in coffee shops and in underground bars.
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
Get the baby breakfast burrito and it comes with the best roasted salsa. Lots of vegan options. I learned about ANZAC cookies here. They were made to send to soldiers so they don't include dairy so they didn't spoil. They combine oatmeal and coconut - try the original!
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Worst experience I've ever had. The staff was super uninviting. From the second I walked in with my service dog, Daniel at the register questioned my disability and made me feel unwelcome. I just moved to the area and was excited to try this coffee shop. Daniel rolled his eyes at my questions and gave me nothing but attitude. I've never witnessed treatment like this, especially not as a customer. My friends and I will never return. Frozen coffee sucked, too.
google avatar

Clive V.

Yelp
My wife found this place and we decided to stop in for breakfast. We thought it was really cool, loved the punk rock vibe and chill ambiance. You order at the counter, someone brings the food to the table and you clean it up. Simple ordering. The prices were great and the portions were comparable. I had the Tofurkey Panini pressed with vegan cheddar and grilled veggies. It was stuffed with Tofurkey but a little lacking on the cheese and was kind of dry. It came out nice and steamy and was pretty filling. It also came with a small 2 oz side of potato salad. We also ordered some of the Mojo Coffee but Vegan with Soy Milk and it was alright. We'd definitely be back next time we're in the area. Support local shops!
google avatar

Jordain J.

Yelp
The entire place is basically vegan which I didn't know. But I was just looking for something to eat while I was rushing to a location. The reviews here seemed pretty good so I decided to just stop and try something as I was on my way. I decided to choose the magic because it was one of the few things on the menu that wasn't vegan. Very delicious, and very tasteful. Warm and had everything that I was looking for taste wise. I'm quite glad I got it. Otherwise I see this is more or less just a dessert/coffee kind a place where you get what you want and relax. Kind of like the upgraded Starbucks. A cool place and when I would come back to if I'm ever riding through the neighborhood

David F.

Yelp
Photos say it all. Coffee is sub-par and wouldn't recommend that anyone spend their money here. Coffee is also pretty bad. Come for a good place to hang out but literally everything else is not worth it.
google avatar

Leishla D.

Yelp
Ok, so I know it kinda looks sketchy from the outside but this is a true Orlando gem y'all. Their Mojo Jojo has a hold on me I can't get over. Anytime I'm near the area I have to get one :') What I love most about The Drunken Monkey is that I can come and indulge relatively guilty free too -- they have a ton of vegetarian/vegan options. It's so awesome that you don't have to pass on their noms, drinks, or sweets because of dietary restrictions. Their Mono Jono is their vegan version of the Mojo Jojo which is coffee, condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk. Sometimes I can't even tell the difference it's that good!!! $10-$15 will get you right before the day starts. I can't stress enough how much I love this place.
google avatar

Viral S.

Yelp
Great vegetarian and vegan restaurant with a legitimate retro/hipster vibe to it. Their lattes and paninis are great and I'm recommend their Witchcraft Vegetarian Panini. Overall a cool place with relatively quick service.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent quad espresso and fantastic food with lots of vegan options! I got the lil breakfast burrito and the salsa made it. My partner had the biscuit w sausage and cheese and she said it was good. Clean quirky old school coffee house inside and super great service!

Yelp
Don't pass this one up! As a coffee shop frequenter I can confidently say that this may be one of the best coffee shops I've ever had, especially if you consider price. It's rare to find an affordable local coffee shop, and I'm glad to say this one is it! We got the Mojo Jojo, both iced and hot, and both are fantastic! It's their signature drink, and it's easy to see why. It's the perfect combination of cinnamon and the taste of coffee. The drink is coffee, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and whole milk. Fantastic drink and fantastic vibe overall.
