Had the best evening at Dry Dock last night tasting tye best wines from Cape of Good Hope. What an incredible experience, amazing staff and both Jonah and Martin were the perfect hosts. Had a wonderful time and will hopefully be able to join the next wine tasting as well.

Dry Dock is an amazing shop. They have an excellent stock of wines. Wines for all budgets. They stock some amazing smaller wine from farms that a lot of places don't. Their wine knowledge is incredible. They are always there to help. I can't recommend this place highly enough

I had a query about a specific batch of Glenlivet and Luthando went the extra mile to confirm what he had available and offered to share pics via WhatsApp. Luthando kept me updated on the orders progress. Personal customer service is a rarity and I'll proudly support Drydock Liquor who clearly value great customer service.

So to respond to your reason why I have 3 stars was. You don't offer free delivery even if I spend over 2k so I decided to go in. You don't have stock of anything that was mentioned online of what you have and your staff don't know about the wines I was looking for and so I left. The one wine you did have I was told you didn't and found it on the shelf. Oh yes and finally I contacted your store numerous times last year for the allocation of porseleinberg I ordered and never got it despite being told I would. 3 stars actually seems generous

Great variety and special wines. It's definitely a place to buy unique wines. Service was great, showing deep knowledge and love for their craft.

After we were sat down. No one came to our table to take our orders. Someone sat at a table next to us and immediately they got served. We literally had to get up to ask for a waiter to assist us. It felt like they were doing us a favour serving us. We ordered some drinks. Mine came literally 20-30 minutes after my son’s and husband’s. When we were ready to pay we asked the waiter for the bill. She put the bill on the table and vanished for a very long time. We were ready to get up and pay at the door when she resurfaced. My husband still tipped her against me telling him not to as the waitress didn’t deserve it. She didn’t even say thank you. That’s when my husband said I actually shouldn’t have tipped her. I said I told you not to. I had a fantastic time at Knysna. I will definitely go back and definitely to the restaurant I visited. But Dry Dock sorry I don’t think I will bother going there again… next time I am at Knysna. Service was appalling
